given Sunday's canonical ocd, it is unknown if he was taking medication for it or not- but if he got the diagnosis as a child, there's a high possibility that that awful man medicated Sunday which just made it easier for him (G. Wood). ocd meds make you numb, apathetic, not like yourself one bit, lacking passions in life or excitement for anything, basically a shell of a human being (+ they're usually given with antidepressants).

to put it in perspective after the livestream; Sunday may be off his meds and finally learning how to live again, how to feel again and who he is on a another level.

Originally she was supposed to stay out of the picture because me and Kelsey couldn’t picture Evan in a long term relationship, but it wasn’t until i actually bothered to give Nevaeh a design that’s we decided she should really stick around a lot more. Her design was too good to waste lol. That’s a pretty new change so we’re still working it out but as it stands she does kinda back off for the first few years of her life simply because she just doesn’t have the same kind of support as Evan does. If they were still together Kuri and Aubrey would gladly let her live with them to keep the family together but her parents would be really unsupportive forcing her to find her own place to live. She would need to work Crazy Hours in order to sustain just herself. Because Evan has the lighter workload (they let him focus on just getting a degree and let him live at home) he gets to be her primary caretaker until Nevaeh is stable enough to start spending more time with her which she will eventually

Project 2025 is a comprehensive transition plan organized by right-wing think tank The Heritage Foundation to guide the next GOP presidential administration. Its lengthy guidebook, Mandate For Leadership, lays out a legislative proposal that would upend Medicare as we know it, pushing seniors onto privately run Medicare Advantage plans instead of traditional Medicare.  This proposal comes even as Medicare Advantage plans have struggled, plagued by falling stock prices, overpayment, and treatment delays. Meanwhile, Project 2025 also calls for undoing prescription drug reforms included in the Inflation Reduction Act.

The difference between traditional Medicare and Medicare Advantage

As long as Medicare and Social Security have existed, there have been right-wing pushes for privatization.  A private component — Part C of Medicare, now known as Medicare Advantage — was created as part of the Balanced Budget Act of 1997. Contemporaneous reporting shows that Democrats and the AARP disapproved of the effort to partially privatize Medicare because of the high user costs that would be associated with it. The reason for those high costs is that Medicare Advantage allows private insurance companies to make a profit providing Medicare benefits to seniors.  AARP explains that regular Medicare has three parts: “Part A (hospital care), Part B (doctor visits, lab tests and other outpatient services) and Part D (prescription drugs).” Part C is Medicare Advantage, which is “essentially” like “joining a private insurance plan like you probably had through your employer.” [...]

i think the sketch looks silly and goofy and funny so i find it important to share with you the mere presence of the faces i drew on it. i drew it on top of the boxes without staying inside its borders because i find my proportions can get wonky if i draw them cropped in a restricted space. and I feel trapped otherwise and i will draw BAD!!! give me spaceeeee to go wild!!!!

the head circles are there for emotional support

very low res speedpaint because truth is the canvas was much bigger than the space where my comic was placed. i didnt account when exporting my timelapse in 720px that that tiny space would look so pixelated ... but it's able to be percieved, so its okay.

(i will now comment on my process and it is not brief sorry)

usually i would try to clean up my sketches and figure out what goes on top before jumping into linework, but since there are multiple panels and drawings i chose to jump into inking right away for the sake of brevity. i just went in with a brush that uses pen pressure and drew what was needed. i added extra line thickness and contrast in areas around the face because it helps direct your eyes there more easily that way.

according to her equipment rei has a chain belt but i only remembered it existed once I was going to color, and i did not like that discovery... I chose to ignore it to maintain my peace. i already have the color palettes for these characters figured out, and i didnt really want to think about a new element at the moment www I tend to overthink those things a lot so i skipped it

the rest is rather straightforward! not that anything else wasn't, but in here i could turn my brain off and sing. linework and sketching require mumbling so i cannot turn my brain off. just block in the characters with a solid color so i can have a mask (something along those lines,) where the color can stay inside. then just color in !!!

Base colors just had slight cell shading on the skin, and for the hair i airbrush a bit of the skincolor in low opacity near the forehead... I'm not sure what it means, but i can look at the faces easier with it somehow. i like the gentle subtlety it adds even if you cant really tell. it makes things look nice.

background was just me blocking in the color of the wall and floor, shade the wall a bit, then slap a noise and free use wood texture on top. work smarter not harder ! yet it took a bit to make it look stylistically fitting with the characters, and even now i think bottom middle panel looks odd. whatever!!!

for the middle panel i thought itd be funny if the background was a solid silly and colorful one to contrast the next panel's sketchy black one. a contrast to how the word widow is seen. on that note my handwritting is not pointy. i gaslighted my hand into thinking that it was indeed pointy in that moment so i could write "not-yet dead person" in letters that didn't seem cute. my hand did not fall for it but it complied anyway

that's basically it! I'm not sure what else i could say that doesn't feel barebones because it really is that straightforward. if you're curious I used clip studio paint for this. only special brush used was for linework (a brush named Lemon Brush), the rest used were just the default. my computer gets the least credit. it was trying to convince me a 20mb file was going to nuke it all the time and hardly let me save multiple times so i do not appreciate it

So in the first draft I was gonna have a time skip of the house getting a little neater each day of the week, and Sabine was gonna have a line about like, "Oh! You must be good luck, you attracted a brownie."

And then during a revision I was like, I haven't shown enough of the fantasy element to be sure that a brownie would land, because people might not know about the helpful home fairies who cook and clean for you.

So when I revised I decided it was funnier if Jazz was caught cleaning but it does make her look 1000% sillier because she just saw a mess and was compelled to clean regardless of consequences.

15. How powerful is their magic compared to their peers? How do they feel about it? Is it their limit?

Okay so, in short, Aurelia is not really a proper revenant, but more of a "proto-revenant". Rytlock is still the first proper revenant/herald trained by Glint, while Aurelia failed to complete her training and then got messed up by something in the Mists*, and the way it happened prevents her from reaching full potential. Then she became a dragon's champion, which put her on a whole different level, but it's also not just her own magic anymore.

To elaborate a bit, due to what happened in the Mists, her revenant magic is quite nerfed compared to Rytlock's, especially with how it was unreliable and a bit messy during the first years of having it. To be fair, even then it was still more than the average tyrian could achieve (who can even seemingly summon a crystalline dragon out of the Mists?), but the only really notable thing about it were her impressive self-regenerative abilities, which at least compensated for most of the hits she took while the magic didn't work. Her biggest "nerf" is that she was and still is unable to create portals to the Mists, in the sense that she can do so only on the surface levels, and anything beyond that spits her back out quite unpleasantly. Glint's facet was what had "lended" her the magic in the first place, and she fully believed that was what all she was working with for years. Little did she know that she had gotten better because she had learned how to use revenant magic by herself, but she never realize that until after the facet got shattered when Balthazar killed her, when she still had access to her powers, a bit less focused but just as strong. Granted, the bond with Aurene helped the learning process, aiding her recovery and boosting her abilities while slowly replacing Glint's magic, but even before she hatched the facet was already acting mostly as training wheels/a focus for her to channel the magic through (and filter some leftover corruption).

Rytlock was still technically a better magic user than her, but being a dragon's champion tilted the power scale quite a bit in her favor, as she could channel magic both through their bond and the Mists. On top of what she could do as revenant, the more powerful Aurene became, the more easily Aurelia could manifest forms of crystalline magic (like and beyond what the Dragon Stance can do), and so did Aurelia's skyscale once grown up. She can also become more powerful if Aurene chooses to boost her with her magic directly, as it happens at the end of EoD, and there's no telling if that's still as powerful as she can become now that Aurene is the only Elder Dragon.

Even after all these years, it still feels weird for Aurelia to be a magic user, let alone a good one by any metric. It will never be a 100% good thing for her due to it coming from Glint's failed attempt at training her and all the trauma and pain she suffered because of a mistake she couldn't even comprehend at the time, but at least knowing it now partially comes from Aurene makes it a lot better. With Aurene gone for who knows how long, channeling her magic is bittersweet, but it's a way for her to feel her close no matter where she is.

i used to take the pill with estrogen and it caused a lot of health issues for me, among other things migraines that were so bad i was throwing up. i know many other women who stopped taking it because they had health issues from it, for example depression. when i stopped taking it, i had to get surgery because my hormones were all fucked which made me develop a malicious cyst on my ovaries causing immense pain. now i take the pill with only gestagen without issues so it was definitely the estrogen causing them! on the other side, people who take steroids (testosterone) also develop stark health complications, both psychological and physical. so i really dont think that giving people opposite sex hormones has any health benefits, on the contrary. its so fucked up that gender non-conformity is medicalised and pathologised this way!
