(I want to preface this by saying I am not an expert, and this is not qualified advice. I would recommend that you seek professional, qualified advice from the Tarantula Addicts discord, discord.gg/ta. I am not affiliated with them, I just know they have lots of smart people there.)
I'm really sorry for your loss. I do not think that it was completely your fault. Even in captivity under perfect care and conditions, not every sling (or even juvenile) makes it. The fact that it was refusing food, even pre-killed, makes me think it wasn't your husbandry that was at fault. Even under inexperienced and poor husbandry (hypothetical; I cannot judge how good your husbandry was, and this is not me saying that your husbandry was poor), it should not take only a week to die.
Cw: animal death
Indigo, my poecilotheria metallica sling, has passed away
Idk how or why it happened it just did
She Was here not for long like a week or smth
She refused to eat and I kept offering all I had even prekilled prey
At some point she started acting wierdly and spasming around whenever I moved her enclosure but she Was still Alive
Today I wanted to feed her prekilled mush and she randomly entered her death curl
We fought for hours on End somehow trying to Revive her by giving water and mushed up food to her directly in hopes of her getting her energy back
She is dead
She is gone
And it is my fault for not providing for her correctly
I am a terrible owner and I wish I died instead lmfao
I am such a fucking idiot for getting this species while having 0 experience with old worlds, arboreals and slings I am a stupid fucking moron I fucking hate myself

(image 3) Seems to be an Acanthoscurria geniculata "Brazilian whiteknee"
I went to a garden centre that had an aquatics and reptile section. They also had bugs. I loved all of it
My mum was really grossed out by the bugs but I loved it (there was a giant katydid that grossed me out tho)
There were also lots of fish and frogs (there was a really cool bumblebee tree frog that I unfortunately didn't take a picture of)
