A creative spark…for once.
I keep chasing a feeling I’m not sure exists,
And I’ve felt dead inside for decades,
And I’ve never truly known a mother’s love,
And I stayed in a relationship with someone who looks at me like he hates me when I laugh,
And all I had to eat today was an iced coffee and Adderall,
And I pretend that reading is a hobby instead of a socially acceptable form of disassociating,
And the only person to ever make me feel alive was a crush I had on a boy in high school,
And I flinch when men yell because I think their fist is going to go through the drywall…just like my father’s,
And I like who I am but I don’t think anyone else does,
And I don’t know how to carry all of this.
I don’t know how to carry all of this,
And the shame & embarrassment are threatening to suffocate me.

Survivor and victim's advocate Tonya GJ Prince addresses how making assumptions about who is or isn't capable of violence silences Survivors of violence and abuse. Using stories of victim's experiences, she cautions against framing sexual violence as something that happens only under very specific conditions. Sexual violence doesn’t care about titles or reputations. A person’s position in the community doesn’t make their harm less real. It’s not about the ‘who.’ It’s about the harm, the trauma, the destruction left behind in the survivor's life. In this episode, we are urged to shift our language and our focus in support of victims and Survivors. Because no one’s position, no one’s title, no one's connection to others or admiration by others should ever excuse the trauma they’ve caused.

Navigating the Shadows: Spiritual Guidance for Healing from Psychological Abuse
Introduction
Psychological abuse inflicts deep wounds on the soul, often leaving scars that are not visible to the naked eye. Navigating the aftermath of such trauma requires profound inner strength and spiritual wisdom. In this article, we will explore compassionate and spiritually-rooted advice to support your healing journey from psychological abuse.
Tumblr media
I. Acknowledge the Truth and Seek Safety
The first step towards healing is acknowledging that you have endured psychological abuse. Recognize the truth of your experiences, and if possible, seek a safe and supportive environment where you can begin your healing journey.
II. Embrace Radical Self-Compassion
Offer yourself the same level of compassion that you would extend to a dear friend in pain. Understand that you are not to blame for the abuse you endured. Treat yourself with the tenderness and care that your soul deserves.
III. Cultivate Inner Strength through Self-Affirmation
Engage in daily affirmations that affirm your worth, strength, and resilience. Remind yourself that you are a survivor, and your spirit is unbreakable. These affirmations become beacons of light in moments of darkness.
IV. Seek Professional Support and Guidance
Therapy and counseling can be invaluable resources in your healing journey. A skilled therapist can provide tools, insights, and a safe space for you to process your experiences and regain a sense of self.
V. Establish Boundaries and Prioritize Self-Care
Setting and maintaining boundaries is crucial for your emotional well-being. Prioritize self-care practices that nourish your mind, body, and spirit. This may include activities like meditation, journaling, or spending time in nature.
VI. Engage in Creative Expression
Art, music, writing, and other forms of creative expression can serve as powerful outlets for processing and releasing emotions. Allow your creativity to flow freely, giving voice to the emotions that may be difficult to articulate verbally.
VII. Connect with a Supportive Community
Seek out communities or support groups where you can share your experiences with others who have walked similar paths. Finding solidarity with those who understand your journey can be incredibly validating and healing.
VIII. Practice Forgiveness as a Path to Liberation
Forgiveness is not about excusing or condoning the actions of the abuser. It is about releasing the emotional hold that the abuse has on your spirit. Forgiveness is a gift you give yourself, allowing you to reclaim your power and move forward.
IX. Engage in Mindfulness and Grounding Practices
Cultivate a practice of mindfulness to anchor yourself in the present moment. Grounding techniques, such as deep breathing or visualization, can help you find stability in times of emotional turmoil.
X. Cultivate a Sense of Empowerment
Reclaim your sense of agency and autonomy. Engage in activities that make you feel strong, capable, and empowered. Celebrate your victories, no matter how small they may seem.
Conclusion
Healing from psychological abuse is a courageous and transformative journey. It is a testament to the resilience of the human spirit. Remember, you are not alone on this path, and there is support and love available to you. As you navigate the shadows, may you find strength, solace, and the radiant light of your own inner spirit.

Ayla's Journey from Despair to Empowerment
Today, I want to share a story that resonates deeply with our capacity for compassion and change. Meet Ayla, a remarkable woman, and her brave three-year-old son, Ian. They are on a journey of healing and empowerment after emerging from the depths of adversity.
Ayla's life was intertwined with her estranged husband, whose narcissism and addiction cast shadows of fear and abuse over their lives. Determined to break free, Ayla took Ian's hand and stepped away from the darkness that had once consumed them.
But their path to healing is not without its trials. Ayla has sought counseling for herself and Ian, and she's engaging in self-improvement classes to build a brighter future. However, her estranged husband's manipulation knows no bounds. He has gone to great lengths to undermine Ayla's progress, even succeeding in getting her laid off by manipulating former coworkers.
And that's not all. Despite a restraining order, he continues to stalk her with emotionally abusive messages from multiple phone numbers, leaving Ayla and Ian to endure constant torment.
Here's How You Can Help:
Your support has the power to rewrite Ayla and Ian's story. By contributing to their campaign, you can provide them with the resources they need to secure a stable home, continue therapy to heal emotional wounds, and ensure Ian's education and well-being. Every donation, no matter the amount, brings them closer to a future filled with hope and empowerment.
Let's rally around Ayla and Ian, offering them a lifeline of support as they navigate their journey towards a brighter future. Your contribution is not just financial assistance; it's a message of solidarity, reminding them that they are not alone.
👉 [Insert Campaign Link Here] - GoFundMe 👉 [Insert Campaign Link Here] - GiveSendGo
Share this post, spread the word, and together, let's empower Ayla and Ian to leave the shadows behind and embrace the promise of a better tomorrow. Your kindness will create a lasting impact and be a beacon of hope for those battling adversity.
With gratitude, Sammie Hitchens

Dealing With The AFTERMATH Of Emotional Abuse
The effects of emotional abuse can creep in like a sunburn on a ☁️ cloudy day. I call it "the slow burn" because emotional abusers often don't start off hard and strong. They slowly turn up the heat as they get more comfortable in the relationship. And many times, we don't even know what happened until either ourselves (or a loved one) starts to notice a change from our typical 😄 joyful and authentic self. In this video, I talk about how we can heal the aftermath of emotional, verbal, or toxic abuse to reset our energetic foundation and become immune to their manipulation tactics. This topic is near and dear to my ❤️ heart as I've dealt with this with not one, but two long-term toxic partners. I've learned a lot since then and I'm sharing it with you today in hopes you embark on the road to recovery because you matter! 🌱

We live in a society that asks women why they stayed, instead of asking men why they abuse.

Worthiness is the key ~ Only You Give Yourself Permission of IT ~ 5D Healing
When you go within and feed yourself with what you seek, look for outer - whatever is in the outer - when you give yourself the needs, desires; you begin to align with greater worlds and realms -
You are the being ness of you - and it only needs that you acknowledge who you are - when you give yourself permission to see your greatness, know of it, fall in love with it, is how you shift;
God is asking we all measure up equally to what He/She Birthed and breathed us as; level up within this - it is not a level up in the outer realm - it and all begins within first; Ⓒ
(I have no boss, nor do I work for anyone. I do not have not given permissions, nor agreements, nor approvals for anyone to use my work, my ideas, and my content and none have the permissions to work with my content, or ideas, and nor do they nor will they have the permissions of God to be the flow of my energy and wisdoms that is a conduit and codes; that is the offering of God)
Tumblr media
Level up and know;
I am worthy of the love of God, Mother and Father that I give myself and honour, care, nourish and bless myself with first
I am worthy of the good will that God offers me and blesses me with
I am worthy of rich and heavenly love that the ALL THAT IS plays and offers in my life; multi-dimensionally - the physical, mental, emotional, spiritually is all within the Godliness of who I am
I am worthy of pleasures that God is, offers, will always eternally be within me - I AM THAT I AM
Your own waking up every day with a new state of worthiness and the gratitude and equal knowing;
The knowing of God is everything - God is not religion - period.
We are moving beyond ~ the beyond the BEYOND and none offer, teach, what I do; we and the councils;
Blessings to the great one,
Joanna

The latest episode of Open Deeply Podcast dropped this week. Jimanekia Eborn makes my heart sing! She’s also back as our guest for her second episode.   Each guest on Open Deeply is featured on two episodes. In the first they tell their life story focusing on the pivotal things that changed them. The second episode is devoted to dissecting the patterns and influences that played a central role in their life.  This week, @jimanekia talks with @opendeeplywithkateloree and me about everything from her unexpected connection to pro wrestling, her philosophy on the importance of positive destruction, along with her desire to “f*ck up and rebuild the s3x ed community” (a rally cry we can all get behind for the good of humankind). She fleshes out her vision for the future that includes continuing her crucial life’s work Tending the Garden, a retreat for survivors of marginalized identities-- as you’ll hear a little bit about in this clip.
