It had started out small, a slow drip of ectoplasm trickling out of Danny’s nose as they were working in the lab. Like the friend he was, Jimmy asked him if he was ok.

Danny just laughed stiffly and asked for a tissue.

So Jimmy did as he was asked.

He left the room to find some tissues.

And by the time he came back, he was greeted to the sight of Danny hunched over the table, trembling violently.

“Danny?” he asked.

Danny lurched forwards, knocking over his chair, and Jimmy rushed over to support him, noticing the distinct flecks of red among the garish green splatter on the laptop.

“I, I–” Danny’s reply was cut off as he retched, lurid lime spilling from his mouth and splattering onto the floor. The half-ghost blinked, leaning heavily on the desk with a dazed expression as he took in the viridescent stain smeared at his feet.

Then Jimmy was dragged down as Danny crumpled downwards.

“DANNY!” he shouted, holding him as he lay, twitching on the ground.

“Help-” Danny choked, one hand gripping Jimmy’s as if he were drowning and the other spasming in aborted motions. Ectoplasm leaked onto the floor, his eyes already vivid green.

“Just hold on Danny, we’ll get you help soon.”

thank you!! i actually have thought about this a lot and, well, knowing him he'd be too stubborn to admit that its a problem even though his condition is starting to worsen

sam, tucker and his family knew about it early on since he spends most of his time around them and it was bound to happen at least once when they're around but as for the nicktoons, he wouldve been able to avoid the subject for a while

at least until maybe one day, it'd catch him by surprise while he's helping out in jimmy's lab

Victories give you confidence. My confidence are super high, but still, in some situations, I'm still struggling a bit. But, in that situation, with more confidence, I think I would have struggled less. So, let's see if we can continue working in that way.

I like the idea of Yuichi working at Run of The Mill in a fusion setting, but I think everyone is missing an excellent opportunity by just making him competent at his job.

Here me out: Hueso is running his restaurant in secret on the surface, which likely limits his access to supplies and ingredients from either side.

...and Yuichi's aunt canonically runs a farm.

So picture this: Yuichi is just getting to the peak of his Samurai fanboy phase when he's really wanting to strike out on his own & prove his independence.

His aunt, however, wants him to maybe start a little bit- smaller.

So she reaches out to the community and her regular buyers to see if anyone needs a hand around their businesses.

The majority turn her down, and the few that don't are quick to show bunny-boy out the door within the day with the amount of chaos he causes.

Finally, desperate, she strikes a deal with Hueso: as long as he keeps Yuichi employed, he'll get a special deal on all the produce & supplies he gets from her farm.

Hueso, in need of some new waitstaff and desperate to restock after the hits taken during the invasion, grudgingly agrees.

He comes to regret this, but not enough to actually fire him. Yet.

The limit's coming quick though, and it's going to be reached even quicker when a certain blue turtle recovers enough to start making a menace of himself around the restaurant again, this time in an extremely targeted fashion towards his new rabbit waiter.
