Seungmin does not get enough appreciate in my mind and I always adore my Seungmin supporters because he is so talented and has such a majestic voice.

I was watching a Tiktok from a girl who has a degree in psychology and she said people who bias Seungmin tend to be neurodivergent or have high bouts of anxiety.

I feel it's because Seungmin has a stoic and calming presence to his aura which is why people with anxiety are drawn to him.

Hyunjin was my first ever bias (he's the gateway bias) because he is such a dedicated performer, the duality is incredible with this man. He is still up there as my bias wrecker because I'm a Pisces Venus and his whole soft boi but with a hard dom edge vibe just makes my eyes turn into little hearts for him.

Lee Know's fancams is what got me and to this day, if I had to choose between being only being a Bang Chan or Lee Know stan, I would probably still choose him.

I feel he and Hyunjin are actually just as good as each other and I wished Lee Know had more solo dancing opportunities (and some performances I feel he actually was better than Hyunjin.)

i survived!

i was overthinking it, Messy Guy did know that i'm seeing two people but did not clock that Bookstore was one of them. they didn't interact much, which, sadly, means they did not hook up with each other. i knew it was highly unlikely, but a girl can dream. also Bookstore did not fully believe me when i told them how hot this guy is, but right after he got there, they hit me with a driveby whisper like You were right, he IS hot. but still, they didn't want to go there, fiiiiine

concern about Messy Guy's conduct with me, on the other hand, may not have been totally irrational bc heeeee was getting REAL close to me again, breaching normal personal space and physical touch boundaries. my friend (who is amazing) set up one room at her place to be a less-populated quiet chill zone (bc this bitch has so many autistic friends), and i did not spend more than a single minute in there bc i was worried this mf would follow me and we'd be alone together. (that single minute i did spend in there included an incredibly brief but intense makeout with Bookstore, which was the only physical contact we had during the party. i mostly ignored them most of the evening. it was very hot.)

anyway since this is basically my diary, further highlights/interesting moments include:

i did manage to look cute (skin: glowing; hair: big, perfect shiny loose curls; fit: slightly revealing, but still leaving enough to the imagination) and got gushing compliments as soon as i walked in the door

beloved sweet cat leapt into my lap as soon as i sat on the couch

met another person with my chronic illness! we got Gotta Lay Down Disease, and my friend set up her bedroom to be better suited for horizontal chill hangs, so we got to lay down at a party and it wasn't even weird. fantastic.

fully like a third of people there were autistic, absolutely bonkers energy, slide into any conversation and there's a 30% chance of it being a high-quality educational experience bc someone is infodumping about a topic they love more than being alive. i was having so much fun listening to other people that i didn't even get deep into anything more specific than movies and books.

it was my first time meeting my good friend's boyfriend and her last one was a shithead and she has a history of dating shitheads, so i was like uhhhh maybe i'll just observe this mf from afar or avoid him altogether. at one point i popped into a conversation Bookstore was having with someone else and they were like Oh al loves action movies, and i said God yeah i'm a SLUT for action movies. like two minutes later, friend's boyfriend comes over and asks what we're talking about and says. Oh man i'm a SLUT for action movies. anyway we then vibed like two brains in a vat and me n Bookstore are now def gonna do a double date with them. (further interesting details about friend's boyfriend: he looks like if jared leto was a perpetually stoned twink and he wants to fuck Bookstore. lot to process.)

Bookstore's best friend was one of the last people to get there and when i said Hi, i'm al! he just said Oh, i know. idk how i feel ab the fact that they have told him so much specific information that this man could immediately identify me on sight among dozens of other people. confronting such evidence that contradicts my irrational but deeply-held belief that no one ever even thinks about me when i'm not directly in front of them felt a little uhhhhhh weird.

Bookstore and i left at the same time so we could spend a little time alone together but we didn't fuck and my next dick appointment with them isn't until monday eveninggg but oof i was so tempted to mess around. but. tmi fun fact: i have a small mouth (and big teeth) and this mf got me constantly lamenting my own physiology bc... it's too big to fit in my mouth. never wanted to suck a dick so bad in my life and i physically can't. hilarious. (but i'm not the first person they've had this issue with lmao)

anyway, it was really fun!! like the last party, i was not planning on staying long and i let my friend know ahead of time that i'd probably leave early, but. i didn't get home until after 3am.

and i didn't even sleep late this morning, got up early enough to do a load of laundry and have a healthy breakfast and i'm about to go spend the rest of the day with Tech Guy. busy me!

(they said they were cool with the whole nothing-serious-no-exclusivity-or-monogamy-ho-phase thing, but that's different from actually KNOWING there's another person i'm seeing regularly. the other people i've talked to about this (including Birthday Friend) said that it's best not to be so transparent that they know about each other, bc they both okayed what i'm about right now. i don't want them to get in their own heads about it! when i'm with them, i'm with them.)

SO my main concern is that Messy Guy will get fucked up and/or extra messy and mention to Bookstore that i'm also seeing someone else. tbh they might not even mind, but to hear that from someone they already dislike bc of what they've heard from me (which was not my intention! i don't even dislike Messy Guy as much as i should, considering)...

my secondary concerns are that Messy Guy might make a move bc he is VERY impulsive and okay maybe i'm still a little into him (like.... okay he did some stuff he really shouldn't have done, without my consent and before i had a chance to say no, and like none of it was a CRIME, but i probably should have kicked his ass, on at least two separate occasions. however. i cannot tell a lie, i am still attracted to this man. i know i should stay away from him and i have been! but. he Hot.) and i am also worried that like. what if my friend's other friends don't like me :(

my best case scenario... i think Bookstore and Messy Guy should hook up, idk, they're both bi, Messy Guy likes tall guys and Bookstore will absolutely also think Messy Guy is hot, likee.... Bookstore doesn't think this'll happen but i told them You ain't met the man yet, wait and see :)

-if you’re like reALLY allergic to a certain type of bug or plant,, man’s got his eyes pEELED whenever y’all go somewhere together. like lets say, for example, ur allergic to bees. bakugou is blowing bees up left and right and u look at him and ur “no!! stop!!! bees are endangered!!” ,, he looks u dead in the face, like ur stupid or something and says “yeah. because of me. i’m gonna kill all of them.”

- if u have to get in an argument with somebody over the phone, he wants to hear it. like he’ll ask u to put the phone on speaker and he’ll just make mocking, bitchy faces while the other person is speaking. like,, he lets u fight ur own battles, but he wants to be there bullying the other person mercilessly in the background.

-if he doesnt like a song ur playing, he’ll just skip it. won’t ask, wont look at u, he’ll just skip it. borderline dick move tbh

Naive, he thinks, staring down at his phone. A text from Jimin sits on the screen, sent fourteen minutes ago to say he’s stuck late at the office. Won’t be home in time for dinner. Please don’t wait up.

No Please wrap the leftovers and leave them in the fridge. We can eat together as soon as I’m home.

Any of that would be fine. Nothing Namjoon hasn’t already heard before, because Jimin stays late at the office more often than not. He’s too nice and his boss takes advantage of it, but Jimin always waves off Namjoon’s concerns with a small smile, pink-tinged cheeks, voice quiet but firm as he pleads for him to understand.

Most of the time he does—doesn’t mind the occasional skipped dinner, the occasional night spent alone, falling asleep on Jimin’s side of the bed so he’s able to pretend. Namjoon doesn't mind the occasional text in the middle of the night from Jimin, asking him through nearly indecipherable texts to pick him up from some trendy, expensive bar Jimin’s coworkers had wanted to go to under the guise of team-building.

What he doesmind, however, is Jimin using his job as a cop-out.

When will you be home? he sends in response, because Namjoon is a little hurt but a lot curious. How far is Jimin going to take this? What will he continue to do in the name of avoidance?

The answer, unsurprisingly, is a lot.

I’m not sure, Jimin writes back, and Namjoon isn’t sure whether he wants to scream and smash his phone against the wall or crumble to the floor and cry. Because this isn’t Jimin. Jimin doesn’t avoid him. Jimin doesn’t find excuses not to come home. Jimin wakes up early to make two cups of coffee and brush the snow off Namjoon’s car. Jimin has flowers sent to Namjoon’s office just because. Jimin made a promise to love him for the rest of their lives, during the good and bad, in sickness and in health.

Namjoon thought it’d be different.

Maybe getting married so young had been a bad idea. Or—not bad. Naive, maybe. The two of them had been bright-eyed and overwhelmed with love and hadn’t yet been marred by the kind of skeptical cynicism that comes with a handful of failed relationships, so when Jimin had made a promise to love Namjoon and prioritize him and take care of him, Namjoon believed him. Had no reason not to. Had promised the same.

That’s what Namjoon had thought it’d be. Sleepovers every night with his best friend. Coming home to a warm embrace after a hard day. Laughing until they cried, delirious from a lack of sleep on those nights they just couldn’t seem to stop talking. Waking up to arms around his waist. His arms around Jimin’s. Dinners that get sidetracked. Dinners with enmeshed friend groups, with families, with the neighbors. Plants in the window that Jimin waters when Namjoon forgets to. Maybe a cat or a dog because Jimin has always insisted he loves both equally and couldn’t possibly choose, couldn’t be just a cat person or a dog person. A both person, he’s always said with that charming smile of his.

Naive, Namjoon repeats in his head.

It’s not like he thought it’d be easy. He hadn’t been totally deluded—only partially, having chosen to believe in all those inspirational Pinterest quotes about love being all you need, about soulmates, about ‘your person,’ so on and so forth. And even though Namjoon’s in a rough spot, he knows they all still ring true. No matter what happens, Jimin is still Namjoon’s person. Always will be. Namjoon has to believe in that, if nothing else.

But it doesn’t make it any easier to look at all the containers in the fridge and calculate all the time together the two of them have lost. Instead of lingering, instead of letting all those inner demons talk him into believing something he knows isn’t true, he simply closes the door.

Namjoon should say yes. He should say sure, sweetheart, just give me a minute to get dressedjust like he has a million times before. However, where amused concern used to greet him before, there’s only annoyance now, the beginning embers of an anger that’ll quickly grow out of control if he doesn't nip this in the bud now. He loves Jimin, of course. Doesn’t want to resent him. So he writes back—

Namjoon [12:13am]: No, Jimin. See if one of your coworkers can drop you or take an Uber.

—and turns off his phone.

Despite his exhaustion, Namjoon manages to stay awake until Jimin stumbles through the front door, knocking unceremoniously into walls as he tries to remove his shoes and make it to the bathroom. There’s an argument looming on the horizon; Namjoon can feel the tension from the other side of the apartment, safe in the cocoon he’s built in their bed.

There’s all of ten minutes before Jimin finishes up his routine and makes his way to the bedroom, using the flashlight on his phone because he thinks Namjoon is asleep and doesn’t want to disturb him. A pang of guilt hits him, has Namjoon wondering if maybe he’s imagined all the distance between them, if he’s overreacting. And that’s—well, it doesn’t feel great, is the thing. He’s never enjoyed arguing with Jimin, has always taken longer than he probably should to sort out Issues and Not Actually Issues, so this tiny display of consideration sort of sends Namjoon into a spiral.

He hears Jimin strip down to his underwear, hears him curse quietly under his breath when he stubs his toe on his way to the closet to hang up his suit. He hears the irregular pattern of Jimin’s footfall—more sober than he was when he got home but still out of sorts. Hears him miss the charging port of his phone a few times before it finally connects. The room lights up blue from his screen—just for a second, blink and you’ll miss it, before Jimin’s shushing it and placing it face-down on the nightstand.

Then Namjoon feels the bed dip and knows he’s got roughly ten seconds to decide how he wants to play this.

Jimin rolls onto his side, fits himself against Namjoon’s back. “Baby,” he says, voice as warm as his honeyed skin; quiet in the smallness of the bedroom they share. “Are you awake?”

No, Namjoon wants to say, because he can still smell the alcohol on Jimin’s breath, mixed now with the toothpaste he always uses. All these really ugly feelings get yanked to the surface. All the doubt and shame.

“Yeah,” he finally says. “I’m awake.”

Jimin sags in relief, lips ghosting along the side of Namjoon’s neck. “Are you okay? Why didn’t you come to the—”

“I’m fine,” Namjoon says, the edges so much sharper than he’d intended.

The hand tracing the curve of Namjoon’s hip stills immediately. Squeezes once before it disappears altogether, and Namjoon misses the weight of it, the warmth. “Oh. Are—are you not feeling well?”

Tears blur Namjoon’s vision, make everything look crystalline. “We’ll talk about it in the morning, okay?”

“Do… do you not want to talk about it now?”

He shakes his head. Tightens all his muscles to hide the way his body is trembling. “No, I don’t.”

“Why?” God, Namjoon hates how panicked Jimin’s voice sounds. “Hyung, what’s wrong?”

It takes everything Namjoon has to keep his voice steady, unaffected. “Nothing’s wrong, Jimin, I just don’t want to have this discussion when you’re drunk.”

“I’m not—” Jimin huffs, but there’s a heaviness beneath it. “Baby,” is all he manages to get out before he chokes out a sob, body wracking with each one. “Baby, are you mad at me? I’m s-sorry, please don’t be mad, I’m sorry—”

Seeing Jimin cry has always been a special kind of torture. Has always managed to reach somewhere deep inside of Namjoon and claw at it, make him feel a bit like he’s dying. All he wants to do is soothe. Thumb away all those tears on Jimin’s cheeks and press his lips to his hot, blotchy skin. Namjoon knows that’s exactly what he should do, but fuck he’s still hurt. Still sees all those fucking leftovers in the fridge, so he just finds Jimin’s hand and squeezes. Hope it’s enough reassurance.

Says, “We’ll talk in the morning, okay? Get some rest,” and pulls the duvet over his shoulders.

And Jimin—god, Jimin is so good. Never asks for more than Namjoon can give, knows when not to push. He’s still crying when he ekes out a tiny, broken “okay, hyung, goodnight” and rolls onto his back.

Namjoon doesn’t fall asleep. Jimin doesn’t either. They lose all concept of time as they both lay there, hearts and minds racing as they pretend to be asleep, hiding from one another, so it could be minutes or it could be hours. Jimin’s voice is still a little broken, still hoarse, but his words are so, so loud when he whispers—

“I love you, hyung. I’m gonna fix this.”

Seven would absolutely comfort you if you’re afraid of the dark. He knows what it feels like to be afraid of something that you can’t see. He’s had to sit in those dark rooms before without knowing what might come for him. He gets why it’s a fear for many people, but just because you’re afraid of it doesn’t meant that you can’t learn how to overcome it or challenge that fear. It makes sense to be afraid of what you can’t see, but as long as you prepare yourself for the chance that it might happen, you can work on this problem in the future. 

That means that he’s made sure that you’ve got flashlights and candles stashed away in each room in the house for when something happens. That way you can have something to grab if you get scared! It doesn’t help before he does this but it does mean that he’s got options for you to help yourself in the long run. Even if he isn’t there, you’ll have something to help you. Even if the phone goes out and you can’t call him, you’ll know how to find light again!

That, and considering the fact that he lets you keep Meowy after everything that happened because that robot was a gift to you, you should know that he’s pretty much always installing upgrades to Meowy. He probably discovered your fear during the apartment stay, or after the fact, and that’s when he would know that it would be time to add something to Meowy. That’s why the eyes were converted into flashlights. Meowy is always following you around, even now, so you always have the robot with you. 

This helps, sort of. 

The bunker is underground and that means there’s no natural light pouring into the place. That’s something to contend with. So, he’s got to make sure that you have everything you need to be safe and sound. If this happens before he’s able to live with you, and you call him in a panic while your phone is close to dying by now, he will hear the terror in your voice and talk you through it. 

He knows that you’re afraid. He knows that he can only do so much. But, he wants you to know that you’re safe. He can check up on the electricity and let you know when it’s going to come back online. You have that much from him. He’ll tell you jokes and tell you stories that you can focus on while you’re trying to wait for it to be okay again. If you want, he’ll come to the apartment. He will not leave you alone if your phone dies. Whatever you need, he’s going to make sure that you have it. 

Now, if this happens when you’re together, he’s quick to grab a flashlight and hand it to you. He won’t ever leave your sight but he’s going to make sure that you’re comfortable where you are before he checks with the electric company, or the generators in his bunker. You don’t think he’s not prepared for that outcome, too, do you? When he’s in person with you, he makes the best of by making shadow puppet shows or doting on you with kisses and cuddles. He’s going to be your defender of justice forever, no matter what.

They would totally take you during the night. You would probably just be walking down a street and they would just snatch you up. I don’t think they would knock you out just as they get you, but they would probably give you some kind of drug to “calm down”.

Honestly pretty chill guy when you first meet him. It's at a coffee shop, and he's asking for a coffee. You give it to him and you’re really nice to him. He decides to go back, just for you. He meets you again and you’re kind of weirded out, but like, he's so nice! And he tips. He tips very well. 

Kidnapping you was a big ass plan he had and somehow it worked. He “hired'' someone into trying to rob you, he never said why, and it was so he could ruin that person's career. Then, he would swoop in to save your ass at the last minute. Then he would say, “Sorry I’m late” and beat the shit out of the guy. Then he would take you.

Since he's rich, he would like, pay for everything. You want some chips? Payed. You want oreos? Payed. You want to go home? Well, you can’t have that, but you can have some more food. I honestly think that he would try to emotionally manipulate you. Like, you were touch starved wherever you were from? Not on his watch. You don’t like the sound of doors slamming? He will make sure to softly close doors. Honestly he's like a normal dad except he won’t let you leave and is really protective.

Yeah you aren’t getting away from this asshole. He travels alot for “business” and he probably saw you walking with your friends and then he was like “oh my god its a child.” “Yes, it's a child, master, what about her?” “i must have her.” Then boom, new dad. Well, not yet, he would spy on you for a while, but  eventually he would have to come up with a plan to get you.

He would corner you in your house. It would look like someone trying to give a cat some food to bribe them but instead it’s an immortal cult leader and a young girl trying to get some dino nuggets. Will just shove you in a limo and act as though you are the center of the world. “Well of course you can sleep on the bed, who else is it for?” “You’re not a prisoner- well, no you can’t leave the mountain but you can watch the news.” “I will not tolerate this behavior young woman- you are already a young woman, yes, yes you are-”

Honestly like I said above, he would just totally act like a dumbass. His main instinct was to adopt but now it's like “shit what do i do.” he's kind of lenient with some things, and others he's not. Like oh, you forgot to close the cabinet after you got food, no deal, but then you leave the door open and he's like, “????? WHAT ARE YOU PLANNING??????? I’VE GIVEN EVERYTHING YOU WOULD HAVE EVER WANTED AND YET YOU STILL TRY TO LEAVE-” yeah it's a guessing game but other then that he's kinda normal with things.

Just because I like her so much, Talia would definitely bond with you immediately, no questions asked. Once while watching the news he saw you walking about with your friends and so he tracked you down to find out where you lived and who you were with etc. He probably then realized that he liked you a lot, so then he was like “Mercy prepare a room for a teenage girl, I’m about to go get a daughter.” 

Kidnapping plan was genius, deadass just had a bunch of his men take you and hide any evidence. If your family asked or tried to report it, they would get paid off, and if they continued, then, well… 

He would most likely be busy for like 2/4 of the day, but he would always try to make time for bonding with you. When these little “bonding sessions” first started, he would sit in one corner while you would sit in the other. After a while he got closer, and closer, until he was able to sit next to you. In the dad lex fic I had written, the reader had gotten a concussion so they kinda forgot about what happened before they met Lex (they got it during the kidnapping if you’re wondering). He honestly believes he was your father and nothing can stop him from believing so.

Again, mercy would hate you at the beginning, but like after a month, she thought you were fine, and then after a while she would start to grow fond of you.
