I'm literally hit with the Ford brainrot rn imagine if Filbrick literally shipped this man off to an arranged marriage for money because that was a thing back then! So like- imagine that where he got into his dream school, but is literally already promised to someone he doesn't even know. I'd be pissy about that, and I'm pretty sure he'd be too. But like like- hear me out- what if he meets a girl at West Coast Tech, and that girl is you, who he falls for hard.

It just so happens as the graduation day nears, ironically a day he should cherish but instead resents because it's also his wedding day! But against all odds, for whatever random chance or crazy luck of the draw- You're the one he sees at the altar. You're the girl he's apparently supposed to marry.

How's Stanford supposed to deal with that when he learned to love you during your years together, not knowing you also held the same position of a person he was supposed to hate?

do you guys ever think about how, when troy started messing with abed in 1x05, and they have that interaction like

“because I’m barack obama’s nephew”

“why are you telling me all this now?”

“I didn’t know if I could trust you. but now it’s time to tell you everything”

abed probably finally felt like he was really connecting with troy? like he was finally making a real friend? I mean troy was trusting him with his deepest secrets. to then find out that troy was just messing with him, and that those moments of percieved true friendship were just lies for entertainmemt… ouch.

and then him trying to adapt to troy’s view of friendship throughout the episode and him just being painfully wrong and going too over the top.

plus, troy’s position that “friends mess with each other” must originate from his high school experience. I’m sure he himself got messed with a lot as a kid/teenager. so, he learned to tell when people are lying for fun to him, and he learned how to do it to others. there’s a lot more to be said about that but again. Ouch!!!

I mean, of course it all ends well, with troy realizing that friendships don’t have to be built on surface-level pranks, and abed realizing that troy had been a real friend all along… and just them both realizing that they do genuinely care about each other, and that they’re each different from any other friend or acquaintance they’d ever had before. but yeah.

The real reason Landon didn’t have a coin when he got to limbo is because not all of him was fully dead. His phoenix powers went into the golden arrow when he was stabbed, and since he was born with those powers they are very much a part of him. Therefore there is still technically a piece of him that is still alive. (This is also why he didn’t start dying like Raf did in 3x02 because, like the Necromancer had thought, he hadn’t been truly dead, not even after losing his powers because that part of him was still alive in the arrow.) Hence Landon being unable to pass onto peace, hence him being able to use the arrow to transfer his powers back to himself, hence him now being alive and a phoenix again.

Remember when the whole ordeal with s2 was that Ed was so heartbroken that Stede left him that he tried to get himself and the whole crew killed and then they got reunited within like 2 episodes and never spoke about anything of interest together and then that same Ed decided to ditch Stede after a couple of days because he wanted to catch fishes and that lasted half an episode before they got reunited again and the show ended on them leaving everyone to live in a simultaneously doomed to fail/happy ending inn and everyone was like wow good writing I can’t believe this could get canceled $10k billboard in times square
