so I've started reading Journey to the West, and I more or less knew what to expect from Sun Wukong going in, no surprises there. Tripitaka, on the other hand, completely knocked my feet out from under me... I am enchanted

this is not the next installment of "buck takes a mental health break". i mean, it is, but i'm skipping around a little.

"My godbaby just had a lovely christening, Uncle Buck."

"Athena! Hey. Oh, uh. Was that today?" He squints at his alerts. "No one's sent me photos yet."

"Yeah, huh. That was today. Guess the days are less distinguishable out on the open road. What have you been up to? Maddie tells me about your adventures. Didn't see you as a Graceland type of guy."

"That was Albert's idea."

"Oh, he dragged you there, did he? That whip of a thing that you could break like a toothpick?" She sounds good, far lighter than she did the last time he saw her, about a week after Bo's birth.

"Okay, I admit I was a little curious."

"And?"

"Did you know Elvis had an identical twin?"

"What?"

"Jesse. He was stillborn."

"So there could've been two of him walking around," she says. "Interesting thought. Is that all you got from it?"

"He lived in a regular place first, but his neighbors didn't like dealing with the crowds, so he asked his parents to find him a farmhouse."

"A farmhouse?" She laughs.

"Yeah." He chuckles quietly. "It didn't stay that way. You know, when I first saw it, I wondered why anyone would ever need that much. It felt greedy."

"It is!"

"Yeah, no. It is. Just. He didn't start out wanting a palace. He tried something much quieter, more- more normal. The people around him didn't like it."

She makes a thoughtful noise. "Listen, Buck. If you find a place that feels more like home-" She pauses. "Or feels the way this place used to feel, you hold onto it. Don't cut yourself off from something that could be exactly what you need just because it's new. That's an order, Firefighter."

"Understood," he says, blinking rapidly. "I- How are you holding up, Athena?"

"Today was a good day," she says, a little brittle. "I had one last week, too."

"Tell me about it?" he asks, tentatively, unsure if it's his place. And she does.

(Buck): Hey, when do I need to make a decision about coming back?

(Hen): What do you mean "make a decision"?

(Hen): You really don't know if you're coming back

(Buck): It still hurts

(Hen): I know. That will never go away completely. Bobby was too important.

(Buck): Not him. You guys. You said I made myself small, but I didn't just decide to do that. It was what everyone clearly wanted.

(Hen): Oh, Buck

(Buck): It might be better if I join another house

(Hen): Is that what you want?

(Buck): Not really

(Buck): But I can't go back to whatever that was. No one would talk to me. I felt like I was on fire.

Hen bubbles him for quite a while. Buck finishes his sandwich and brushes the sand off his pant legs. The sun is strong today, but there's enough of a breeze coming off the water that it doesn't feel overwhelming.

(Hen): I think because we knew your grief would be a lot, we didn't know how to handle it on top of our own. So we didn't even open the door. Then enough time went by, it seemed like you were past the worst of it and bringing it up might cause you to backslide.

Buck stares at her words and listens to the waves crashing.

(Hen): That doesn't make it okay

(Hen): I think Bobby would be pissed at us

(Hen): No, I KNOW he'd have thoughts. Loud ones. He loved you.

(Buck): He told me that, you know. That night.

(Hen): Did he?

(Buck): I didn't say it back

(Hen): He knew. We all knew.

(Hen): I'm sorry, Buck. I really am. This goes a little further than forgetting your birthday.

(Buck): I don't have a yard, or gutters. I don't have a house.

(Hen): I'll help you find one. When you're ready. Just say the word.

I think we all know that in their own way, each one of the triplets are attractive. But I began thinking a little more deeply about it, what made them so attractive to me and the general public?

With Nick, i’ve always been so pulled in by his charismatic personality and charm. He’s so witty and naturally a guy you would instantly feel safe with. His arms are so buffed, in contrast to the delicate and more slim wrist he has. Whenever Nick is going on about how hot a guy is, you can just tell that he wouldn’t dare say these things to the guys face. He has that sort of, power bottom dynamic. Now hold on, I also do believe he can switch it up and take control. His hands would reach over and cover the mouth of a guy he likes—this would be a dominant thing. Nick is always quick to get on someone(physically and literally) so when his guy is even thinking about doing something without Nicks approval or permission??? It’s a wrap.

Nicks persona on the internet is clearly not who he is as a person irl. This makes his charm more alluring, the way he can pull you in like a venus fly trap—sort of trapping you in his essence. His more quiet and reserved demeanor wouldn’t throw you off, it’ll only entice you to bring the true vulnerablity he has—out of him. Comparing with Matt and Chris, he’s what people believe Matt acts like in person. I do think he could be a lot more yk rowdy such as Chris—with hyping you up and telling you what’s what. But for the most part, Nick is the quiet tiger, just waiting to pounce.(sorry if that’s cringe.)

Matthew I feel is sort of like a time bomb. You don’t know what’s gonna really set him off because he would make you comfortable with the silent nature of his demeanor. But he’s also more likely to discipline you—his hands are his most valuable and used body part. Sure he could fuck you senseless everytime you act up, but where’s the fun in that?? Matt is definitely so adventurous, we’ve seen this many times in vlogs that he’s the one leading the group into a battle or even just voicing how he would be interested in trying new things. From the way Matt shoots a glare or certain look at his brothers, this is what makes him more mysterious. He has that effect on people—when you think you know the real him, then he’s suddenly changing or more so—surprising you with new found interests.

His whole “emo” or “dark” persona on videos makes me to believe that he is indeed the most vibrant triplet. I do agree that when it comes to creativity and clothes—his brothers are more suited in that. But Matt’s general aura and his voice, oh god his voice—it’s soothing. He could lull you to sleep in no time, but you don’t wanna go to sleep because you wanna know more. This is why he’s so intoxicating in a sense. He’s like a drug(i’m trying not to be cringe but i really feel this way), you only get to have him one time and if you mess that up—then you’re left wanting more. His body is always warm and cozy for you, he makes sure to smell fantastic so that when you leave—the only thing that other guys could smell, is him. He’s definitely the most possessive I think out of all of them.

Chris. Chris is so amazing. He’s such a butterfly, his energy and outlook on life is how most people think they actually look at life. I feel like this is also why he gets a lot of hate, in the human race—when someone is too nice they tend to think it’s a trap or don’t trust it. They would rather hate someone than like them, so I do think that’s why his energy and behavior can put some people off—including his brothers. I’m not saying his brothers hate him, but i’ve noticed when Nick or Matt are putting themselves down and Chris is trying to life them up, they sort of—take a step back and feel a bit overwhelmed. In their eyes Chris is sunshine and when the sun beams down on you too much—you burn. He would always always be the first person you can go to about anything.

His dominant side is a bit more rocky. I do think that Chris can definitely yk fuck you good—but at the cost of only wanting to make sure you’re good. He would feel guilty if you ever felt uncomfortable or hurt. I think the way he looks at people is how he ends up in so many relationships(i’m not saying irl im just saying in general). Chris looks at people with so many different emotions, you can tell what he was thinking and how his mind worked—all by a single eye contact. He knows how to get under your skin too, Chris can be annoying(in a good way) he would be the type to trick you into saying nice things about yourself while tickling you. He’s honestly sugar, spice and everything nice, yes a powerpuff girl. Chris is the definition of a sweetheart.

Kid for a day: where the twins are a bit older and Reilly wants to be in a YouTube video with Matt, nick and chris. She asks every day if she can and when she finally gets to be in one she gets shy and wants to change her mind but Matt makes her feel like it’s ok to be shy. But then she ends up deciding she prefers playing with the twins then being in their videos.

this is probably my favourite to write because it really shows the triplets in their element with a flavour of riley in it

The twins had just gone down for their afternoon nap when Riley came trotting into the kitchen, cheeks pink from playing and curls slightly frizzy from running around.

“Daddy,” she said, climbing onto one of the chairs and swinging her legs. “Can I please be in the car video today? Like, please please?”

Matt glanced at you with a soft smile as he packed the diaper bag, prepping in case the twins woke up early.

“I thought you wanted to wait ‘til you were a little older, bug.”

“But I am older!” she insisted, puffing her chest out. “I’m five and a half and I drank my juice without spilling even once this morning.”

“Well,” Matt chuckled, walking over to crouch beside her. “That is impressive.”

You gave him a little nod. “Go for it,” you mouthed. And with that, plans were made.

Later that day, you helped buckle Riley into the back seat of Matt’s car. She had a fresh apple juice box in her hand, her favorite yellow hoodie on, and a bounce in her seat like she was about to go on the greatest adventure of her life.

Matt settled into the driver’s seat, glancing at her in the rearview mirror. “You ready, superstar?”

“Uh-huh!” she said through a juice slurp.

Chris, already in the passenger seat, turned to face her. “Alright, Riley. The rules are: be yourself, be funny, and don’t spill your juice on Uncle Chris.”

Riley giggled. “Okay, okay. I’ll try.”

Nick slid into the seat next to her, adjusting his hat and shooting her a sideways grin. “You nervous, kid?”

Riley hesitated, glancing between the camera mounted on the dashboard and the little blinking red light.

“Kinda…” she whispered.

Matt caught that instantly, hands resting calmly on the steering wheel. He turned around slightly, his voice soft.

“Hey, it’s okay to feel nervous,” he said. “I still get nervous sometimes too. Even Uncle Chris does, and he’s loud all the time.”

“Hey!” Chris chimed in with mock offense, and Riley let out a little giggle.

Nick leaned over, nudging her gently. “You don’t even have to say anything if you don’t want to. You just sit back, chill, and slurp that juice like a pro.”

Riley nodded slowly, relaxing just a bit.

The video started. Matt did the intro:

“Alright guys, welcome back to the channel, we’ve got a very special guest in the backseat today—my daughter, Riley.”

“Hi,” Riley said shyly, barely above a whisper, then immediately ducked into her juice box with a long, noisy slurp.

Chris burst out laughing. “She’s literally the coolest one here.”

Nick nodded in agreement. “She’s got better style than all of us combined.”

Riley’s cheeks turned rosy, and after a few minutes of the boys bantering, she tapped Matt’s shoulder.

“Daddy?”

He looked over his shoulder again. “Yeah, baby?”

“I think I don’t wanna be in the video anymore,” she said quietly. “I think I just wanna go home and play with the babies.”

Matt smiled, proud and gentle. “That’s totally okay,” he said. “You already did amazing.”

Nick reached over and gave her a fist bump. “Respect. Some people just aren’t about the fame.”

Chris leaned back to flash her a thumbs-up. “You’ll be our secret weapon next time.”

They ended the video not long after. On the drive home, Riley chatted happily with Nick about what the twins had been doing that morning, and how she was planning to teach them how to crawl in a straight line.

When they pulled into the driveway, Matt helped her out of the car and scooped her up.

“Thanks for giving it a shot, peanut.”

She wrapped her arms around his neck and smiled. “I think I like being the babies’ big sister more than being in videos.”

Matt kissed her temple, heart full. “Yeah? Well, you’re the best big sister in the whole world. And you can be in a video any time you feel like it—even if it’s just you sipping juice and being shy.”

“Next time,” she said, with a serious nod. “Maybe.”

But for now, she ran back into the house toward the sound of baby coos and giggles—exactly where she wanted to be.

ARCHER'S (UNHINGED) LOVE OUT LOUD 2025 (DAY 1) HIGHLIGHTS

pond seems to have passed the curse of contacts onto a bunch of people, but that also means he is finally rid of the curse himself, so i am (unfortunately for everyone else) just happy i could see his beautiful brown eyes the whole time.

very simply, as a known queer bully, i want to say that heterosexuality has no space at LOL. it is a BL-CPs-focused event for a reason. if you want to have men and women thrusting at each other on stage, do it somewhere else.

that said, hilariously enough, because all the background dancers during pondphuwin's "bad girls like you" were separated into guy-girl pairs, what pondphuwin had going on with all the choreography and making eyes at each other felt even gayer than it would have otherwise in contrast, so thanks for that i guess.

speaking of which, all the lyrics should be changed to be gay too. this is the boys love event. boys are supposed to be loving boys today. (and tomorrow).

pond and phuwin said they chose "bad girls like you" to show that they are mature now, which just means @ jojo tichakorn, pack up your pondphuwin suitcase, we are finally ready to go on a second adventure.

phuwin kind of jokingly said that his dancing can't compare to a boyband member like pond, but pond really praised him for how well he did during the performance 🥹🫶 (<- this reminds me of phuwin saying during one interview that it means a lot to him when pond compliments him on his dancing specifically).

the second song pondphuwin sang was from the pov of a person who doesn't express their love with words too often, which is extremely lore-accurate to phuwin and extremely lore-inaccurate to pond kgjkldfgjklfdg do with that what you will.

forcebook committed what i can only describe as an act of phycological terrorism today (/lh).

their first song was about friends who are in love with each other but are too afraid to confess. (ok, literal childhood friends forcebook?) it was fully choreographed too with some adorable moves. then they had a little chat, which demonstrated a speedrun from mutual pining friends to an old married couple. only to go back to the theme of the song, asking each other if they ever felt that way, and both saying yes.

BUT THAT'S NOT ALL! the second song came around, a good while later in terms of the concert, and it was ABOUT FRIENDS WHO ARE IN LOVE WITH EACH OTHER BUT TOO AFRAID TO CONFESS. AGAIN. but this one was sad and full of yearning. it also ended with the lyrics "the more you feel like a close friend, the less i feel like i have the right to say..." followed by *huge pause, full of yearning* "...that i love you." *more yearning* *last second absolute bodyslam of a hug* *fades to black*

it was truly insane, i felt like i was on crack cocaine after their second performance.

joongdunk and firstkhaotung both did what you could potentially consider a little nod at THK, with joongdunk performing 'baby tee' in, indeed, baby tees (or crop tops, if you will, shout out style) and firstkhaotung performing a rock song, which just kind of gives THK.

speaking of firstkhaotung, there was this one kind of silly song about proposals with a couple of people, including them, and at one point first proposed to khaotung with a comically large ring. highlight of the day.

going back to joong, he got really emotional during the "goodbye" while thanking the fans and i'm pretty sure almost cried 🥺🤏

our only actual tears of the day, though, were jimmy's after jimmysea sang a break-up song, which clearly touched him 🥺

perthsanta were really sweet and it was very apparent they care about each other a lot throughout. during the "greetings", perth let santa talk during the entirety of perthsanta's allocated time because LOL is a new experience for santa. both songs they chose were rock songs, clearly because perth really loves rock. santa got a dance break and perth got a guitar solo moment during their first song. and perth got quite emotional during the "goodbye"!

on a crazier note, perth called santa "khun noo" (approx. young master) and santa called perth "daddy". live with this information.

earthmix had a domestic through song on stage, but worry not - they were fine right after and their second song was very sweet dflkgjdfkgjkfldg

them almost kissing at the end of the second song was crazy btw. i felt like i was intruding on a moment.

they are letting earth be silly again btw! and i love it! he is adorable.

speaking of silly, williamest's first performance was very "you are tripping on lsd", but in like a fun way.

winnysatang whipped their lavawave out early, because their first song was very royalty-coded.

gemfourth held hands and also sang a song that was a combination of their two solo songs, which i think was really cute.

fourth's new hairstyle looks fucking amazing btw!

we had a surprise appearance by aou my beloved!!! (worry not, next year he will be on the same stage but the whole time and with his partner, i am sure of it). JASP✦ER performed 'TAKE IT OFF' and then we had a JASP✦ER x LYKN collab which was incredible!!

and oh yeah, LYKN performed as guests!!

'SADISTIC' was performed by a bunch of people: interestingly enough, just pond and santa (no joong), phuwin, perth, and dunk nonetheless, as well as gemini, fourth, sea, force, and est. they did not dance, in fact all of them spent the entire performance flying around on harnesses and doing occasional backflips. i am personally starting a conspiracy theory that they were all going to dance, but then either ran out of time or some of the... less dance-inclined, let's say, participants couldn't nail the choreo. thus, everyone was sent flying instead.

in general, love that they expanded the theme to literally anything connected with the sky, so we got a lot of space-themed and different sky-themed motifs (day, evening, night, etc.), it was really cute!

both the "rocksphere" performances were iconic: the lines up of gem/prem/william/perth/pond/phuwin and sea/fourth/gem/pond/phuwin are both pristine, gem on the drums was awesome, perth leaning on william while playing the guitar was incredible, loooove the pink strap on pond's bass, AND the fact that they covered "secret" by perth warms my heart (it is an underrated bop).

altersphere was VERY dad rock, i am fascinated by dad rock in thai because i've literally never heard it in any other language but my mother tongue before - force/joong/first/mix/jimmy nailed it btw.

overall, i really enjoyed myself! i stick to my complaints about the heterosexuality of the background dancers, however, and urge everyone to remember this is very much a BL-based event. i am paying money out of my pocket to see boys love on stage (musical edition) and absolutely nothing else.

You honestly couldn't say how the laughter had started. Something dumb, something so ridiculously Stiles. It was probably his impersonation of Mieczysław Jr. using his "mature" seven-year-old voice while dramatically lecturing the cat about "Boundaries and personal space." Or maybe it was the exaggerated retelling of Claudia's earlier meltdown because there were only T-Rex shaped dino nuggets left and she "Specifically wanted Stegosauruses or nothing at all." Either way, the result is the same: you're both wheezing from how hard you're laughing, curled up into each other on the living room couch like teenagers who haven't quite realised they're supposed to be asleep.

It's past midnight, the lights are low, the soft glow from the kitchen spilling into the living room blinds. Outside, the world is quiet. Frozen. Inside? Chaos incarnate. Soft, joyful, stupidly sweet chaos.

Stiles has his legs tangled in yours, one arm flung around your shoulders, the other hand trying—and failing— to wipe the tears from his eyes as he gasps, "She really said 'the nuggets have failed me' as if she was mourning a national tragedy!"

You're clutching a tiny throw pillow, one she made herself, like it's the only thing anchoring you to this plane of existence. "She was devastated. Her dino kingdom had fallen in front of her eyes, you could see the betrayal."

Stiles snorts, laughing even harder. He leans into you, forehead pressed against yours, and suddenly his hands are in your hair—because they always end up there, soft and familiar and home. His hoodie is hanging half off your frame, one of the sleeves pushed up as your fingers trace lazy lines against the nape of his neck.

He smiles, crooked and warm and impossibly fond. "I love you," he murmurs like it's sacred.

And you don't say anything, you just kiss him.

It's not even a fancy, cinematic kiss. It's a married kiss. It's soft and slow and full of love that's been through late-night feelings and emergency room visits and the 14 hour drive to Disneyland that definitely tested the limits of your collective patience, It's a kiss full of "I love you, I'll always choose you, even when life is chaos and we're running an caffeine and T-Rex dino nuggets."

But right as you deepen it, right as he cups your cheek like he's trying to memorise the shape of you, right as his tongue reaches yours—

"Ew,"

You both freeze. Your mouths still technically touching mid-kiss when the voice echoes down from the hallway.

Stiles mutters against your lips, "Tell me that was the cat."

You don't even need to turn; you already know it wasn't the cat.

You do turn though, and yep, there they are.

Two small, dishevelled gremlins in pajamas standing in the dim glow of the kitchen light.

Mieczysław Jr., seven-going-on-forty, in his Spider-Man pajama pants and oversized hoodie (probably stolen from a pile of Stiles' old clothes), arms crossed and expression full of dad energy. Claudia, six, with perpetually tangled hair, dinosaur slippers, and her favourite triceratops plushie held in a vice grip like she's ready to chuck it (full force) at the next person who makes her witness something emotionally scarring.

"Were you guys seriously making out?" Mieczysław asks, completely unimpressed, "At night? In the living room?"

Claudia makes a face like she's just watched someone eat a particularly nasty bug. "That's disgusting, Daddy."

Stiles doesn't even flinch. In fact, he lens down further into you and grins, totally smug as he gives you a few quick loving pecks.

"Gross? That's how you got here, kiddo."

Your jaw draws. You swat at his chest, eyes wide, promptly shoving him lightly away. "Stiles!"

The kids collectively shriek like Stiles has just confessed to murder. Claudia literally covers her ears and screams, "Too much information!!!" and Mieczysław Jr. yells, "I'm telling Grandpa! You guys need boundaries and and space!"

You bury your face in Stiles' shoulder, laughing so hard your stomach hurts. He's vibrating with laughter too, arms wrapping around you like it's the most natural thing in the world, which it is. It always has been.

"Okay, okay," you say between gaspy giggles, breathless and flushed red. "back to bed, both of you. Go on."

"But we heard," Claudia says stubbornly, scowling like a tiny dictator. "We thought you were watching Bluey without us."

"No Bluey," Stiles says, brushing a hand through her hair as she waddles and toddles over to get a closer look at the two of you. "Just us being in love."

He looks at you when he says it, and yeah, that's still a little shocking sometimes. That he looks at you like that, even after all these years.

Mieczysław Jr. groans like he's physically in pain. "You're acting like teenagers, it's yucky."

You grin. “That’s called a healthy relationship, sweetheart.”

“Sounds fake,” he deadpans, turning to walk back to his room.

Claudia pauses at the hallway entrance, looking over her shoulder. “You can still kiss. I guess. Just… not with tongues. That’s the line.”

And then she’s gone.

The house falls quiet again. Well, quiet except for your muffled snort as Stiles collapses onto you. “We’ve traumatized them.”

He hums, kissing the top of your head. “Nah. They love it. They’ll thank us later for setting a positive example.”

You raise an eyebrow. “Positive example of what? Inappropriate late-night living room makeouts and chaotic parenting?”

He smirks. “Exactly. We’re doing great.”

You laugh again, burying your face in his neck. His arms tighten around you, and the two of you just sit there for a second. Married. In love. Tired. A little ridiculous. Totally thriving.

After a while, he tilts your chin up with a look that’s still as soft and hopelessly enamoured as it was the first time he ever kissed you in a Beacon Hills parking lot.

“So, where were we, love of my life?”

You roll your eyes, but your smile is hopeless. “Being disturbing, apparently.”

Stiles just winks. “Well if loving you is disturbing, then I’m a menace to society.”

There’s so many I think about every day ehhhh which ones do I even pick , I think I’ll go w the ones my last post showcased mostly? Which would be my tfh hc, uhmm .. was gonna talk about sheikxruto but I’ll do that in another ask..!

Triforce hero but it’s Mural, Wolf and Mage: A while ago I was brainstorming w two friends about tfh and they really liked my idea that the 3 guys in the game were 3 links from the lm instead of Mural + copies of mural or mural + two random other guys, and together we chose Wolf and Mage! Tfh would be happening simultaneously to hw, hw being the reason wolf and mage are in murals world for it..! For mural it still would just be his normal timeline, having it after albw.

It’d be before the lm for all 3 so they don’t know each other at all and then get to meet again later yay! It’s not a super serious hc and just fun ^_^ i don’t remember why wolf got the emo haircut

They call each other Red Green and Blue during tfh I’d think ??

Some random small ones I like:

- at the end of hw Mask gives Linkle his Bremen Mask! She has and cherishes it all the years up until the lm where they meet again ^_^

- Malon and Sailor are related , just with really really much time between them

- Marin goes to Sailors era w him and Tetra after hw

- Ravio started to put a lot of research and money into magic after albw to figure out how to create portals between Hyrule and Lorule again ! (Which he succeeded in like, a few months later) ,, when the lm happens he and Mural are chilling together and he’s experimenting w some magic stuff and then Mural , for different reasons, gets ripped away and Ravio straight up thinks it’s his fault bc he was fucking around and found out lol

- Bunny writes letters to Marin about whatever currently bothers her, mostly about the yearning 🙄 she’s also btw a bard (idk if I’ve talked about this on the blog) and travels the land to spread music that come from her adventures,, especially Marin’s song yk the drill

- Bunny meets Ralph during the lm (which is b4 ooa so they’re strangers) by falling on him and breaking his right arm

- mural, rift, sunder, and mage all know the ballad of the wind fish because of bunny spreading and making it popular in her era! Marin herself was able to teach Mask, Captain, Sailor and Linkle the song during hw!! So a lotta links know it ^.^ Captain is tone deaf af tho so he can’t sing it. By the time it’s Sunders era the song has become a popular children’s lullaby :)))

- Sprout is missing two teeth currently (milk teeth that fell out)

- when Sunder and Zelda are 6-7 Zelda sneaks away into castle town where she meets link and they spend a few hours hanging out and having fun! Zelda at that time has bangs that keep falling into his eyes so Link gifts him her favorite blue hairclips that Zelda wears to this day ! (T4t Zelink if anyone’s confused about the pronouns)

- speaking of them after botw they have a little cucco den next to their house with 3 coccos that Clavia takes care of when they’re out of town

- Mural has a pet Remlit named Rupoor

- I MUSTVE mentioned this b4 but I can’t remember so I might repeat myself ,, Dawn has narcolepsy

- Picori idolizes the hell out of the hero of the sky, has been his biggest fan ever since he was a kid

- Mask has a childish fondness of bugs, other random things he loves are fishing and cheese

- mask has a super light dialect,,,, likeee the kokiri do speak hylian but just oh so slightly different (also way more somber yk) bc usually groups thatre separate from other people speaking a language won’t speak with the exact same dialect yk ,, Also would make him seem stranger bc he speaks hylian but there’s just something very VERY slightly different about how he pronounces things! Maybe he has some different words for things

- if sailor is approached from the right (can’t see bc missing eye) he can tell bc the wind tells him

- Captain always carries hidden weapons with him, like a knife in his boots or one under his pillow when he sleeps as examples

- Sailor once broke Captains nose in a play fist fight during hw

Healing Hands

(Y/N) had always been a little reckless. It was something her friends teased her about, her ability to turn any ordinary day into an adventure. Today, that tendency to take risks had caught up with her. She’d been racing down the hill on her bike, feeling the wind whip through her hair, when the tire hit an unexpected rock. The world tilted. Her bike skidded out from under her. In an instant, the pavement met her body with a sickening thud. (Y/N) had rolled a few times after impact, her friends yelling behind her as they called an ambulance.

Her first thought was, Oh gods, I’ve broken something. Her second thought was, I hope it’s not my arm.

But when she tried to get up and felt an intense, sharp pain shooting from her right arm, she knew. Her arm was definitely broken, the familiar pain taking her back to her first ever broken arm.

A few moments later, she heard the distant sound of sirens. Relief and anxiety swirled together. (Y/N) was never good with medical emergencies. She always hated being the center of attention, but more than that, she hated the helplessness that came with being injured.

When the paramedics arrived, (Y/N) was lying on the asphalt, trying to steady her breath and stay calm. She tried to sit up, but the pain made her cry out.

“Easy there, dove,” a voice said gently. She looked up and saw two paramedics kneeling beside her.

One of them, a tall guy with shaggy brown hair and blue eyes framed in glasses, was the first to speak. His deep blue eyes radiated both professionalism and kindness. “I’m James, and this is Sirius,” he said, motioning to his partner, a slightly shorter man with black hair and a confident smile. “We’re here to help.”

(Y/N) tried to smile back but winced at the movement. "I think I broke my arm," she murmured.

James gave a reassuring nod. “We’re going to take care of you. Just stay as still as you can.”

James gently assessed her injury, asking questions to distract her from the pain. “What happened? Can you remember anything?”

“I was just riding my bike,” (Y/N) said with a weak laugh, her voice strained, “I guess I was going too fast.”

“Well, bikes and speed don’t always mix well,” James said with a wink. “But don’t worry. We’ve got you.”

Sirius carefully wrapped (Y/N)’s arm in a makeshift splint, his movements precise and professional. The way he handled her injury felt oddly intimate, but it wasn’t just the touch—it was the careful attention in his eyes.

“You’re doing great,” Sirius said, his voice smooth and calming. “We’re just going to get you to the hospital. You’ll be in good hands there.”

By now, (Y/N) was sitting in the back of the ambulance, her arm immobilized, and James was asking her about her medical history. Sirius stayed close, checking the bandages and making sure she was comfortable. Their presence was oddly soothing.

When they arrived at the hospital, (Y/N) was quickly wheeled into the emergency room. The fluorescent lights above her buzzed faintly as she was transferred onto a hospital bed. James and Sirius gave her a last, reassuring look before they left to tend to other emergencies.

(Y/N) couldn’t help but feel a little disappointed to see them go. They had both been so easy to talk to, the way they bounced their energy off of each other in a soothing manner had made the ride go by faster. But her thoughts were interrupted when a new voice spoke.

“Well, well, looks like we’ve got ourselves a real fighter here,” said a deep, melodic voice.

(Y/N) turned her head and saw a tall, handsome man in scrubs walking toward her. He had short-cropped brown hair, warm hazel eyes, a few pale scares across his tan freckled face, and a smirk that made her pulse race, despite the pain.

“Dr. Lupin, I’m here to take a look at that arm,” he said, flashing a friendly smile. “I’m assuming you’re in a little discomfort?”

(Y/N) tried to smile back but winced. “Just a little,” she said sarcastically.

Dr. Lupin chuckled. “I think we can do something about that.” He began examining her arm with a gentle touch, his movements precise as he checked her range of motion.

She couldn’t help but notice how close he was standing, how his presence seemed to command the room without being overbearing. He wasn’t just another doctor; there was something about the way he moved, the way he looked at her. It was… comforting.

“Looks like a clean break of the radius,” he said, his tone clinical but still warm. “We’ll need to set the bone before we cast it. But I promise you won’t feel a thing. I’m good with my hands.”

(Y/N) raised an eyebrow. “So you’re telling me I’m in the hands of a professional?”

He grinned. “You bet. And if you’re lucky, you’ll get to enjoy my company while I do my work.”

(Y/N) couldn’t help but laugh at his confidence, despite the situation. It was nice to have someone who made her feel at ease, even in the middle of an emergency room.

As Dr. Lupin worked, he kept up a steady stream of conversation, asking (Y/N) about her hobbies, about her life, anything to distract her from the discomfort of the procedure. She found herself smiling more than she expected, even as the pain slowly ebbed away under the influence of the sedative.

When it was done, and the cast was in place, Dr. Lupin gave her a warm, reassuring look. “All set. You’re good to go, (Y/N). Just take it easy for the next few weeks, and you’ll be back to your bike in no time.”

“Thanks, Dr. Lupin,” (Y/N) said, surprised by how much she’d enjoyed talking to him. “I appreciate everything.”

He gave her a wink. “You’ve got it. Now, if you ever need another ‘hands-on’ doctor, you know where to find me.” He turned to leave but paused. “Oh, and don’t forget to give James and Sirius a wave next time you see them. They’re the ones who brought you in.”

As Dr. Lupin left the room, (Y/N) felt an unexpected warmth in her chest. She wasn’t sure what it was—maybe it was the combination of pain relief, kind attention, or the fact that she'd been surrounded by good-looking men who’d made her feel like she was the most important person in the room.

When James and Sirius popped their heads in before leaving for their shift, they both offered her reassuring smiles.

“See you around, (Y/N),” James said with a wink.

“Take care of that arm,” Sirius added. “You’ve got a few people rooting for you.”

(Y/N) smiled as they disappeared, feeling a strange mix of gratitude and a spark of something she couldn’t quite define.

Then he ends the book with a photo of him proposing 🥹

it was a light shade of pink, with little hearts everywhere. you opened it, not knowing you were about to receive one of the most beautiful demonstrations of love imaginable.

the happiest day of my life: when you said yes and completely changed my life, making me a better person who was able to love and to trust.
