GIVING From best to worst (more utc)

1. Acts of Service:

This is his specialty for sure; he just feels as if he has to be useful to you and if he isn’t then you won’t want him anymore. Acts of service are the only thing he can do without stammering or messing up in some way and it’s the only one he’s confident with too. It comes naturally to him tbh he:

- Reminds you of things you need to do even if you only mentioned it to him once in passing

- Brings extra materials or snacks with him if you often forget to bring those things

- Organizes your stuff if he notices your bag and/or your room is messy

- ALWAYS asks if you need help with anything and will do that even if u just tell him to relax he’d instead start trying to help YOU relax

Even as he gets more comfortable with you, excessively partaking in acts of service is something he just can’t shake which isn’t a bad thing! Its his love language afterall, but you just wish he’d stop worrying about if he’s being useful enough and just do what comes naturally. With more reassurance and time he will eventually start to slow down more though.

2. Gift Giving:

I think his gift giving usually comes with his acts of service like bringing snacks. He also just gives you a lot of small gifts because he wants you to know how much you mean to him but he really can’t put it into his words and even if he could theres no way he could articulate it out loud. Some things he gives you includes:

- Origami— I feel like origami is sth he does when he’s bored but even so, he puts the utmost love and care into each of his creations so giving them as gifts is sth reserved for the people closest to him

- Snacks— This one is simple he just cares about u and gets concerned if it seems like u aren’t eating enough or if ur hungry but without food

- A Deck of Cards— ODDLY SPECIFIC but I feel like he’d want you to have one so you and him can play cards even if he forgets his. I think even though he usually plays for Abel he does really enjoy physical games like cards and dominoes etc. like playing cards is how he bonds with people

- Accessories— Now this is RARE bc to him this is reallll bold but under the right circumstances he will give you things like earrings if your ears are pierced or a bracelet or charm (MOST likely the far latter). He sees a lot of accessories that remind him of you and its a little ridiculous, he’ll buy them but because it’s very bold he either won’t give it to you and wait for the “right moment”, give it to someone else to give to you or just leave it somewhere in your room when he’s there

As you grow closer Abyss will get more comfortable with giving you bigger things and will lean more into the accessories when gift giving. He might even feel bold enough to give you the plush he won while koala snotting with Mash.

3. Quality Time:

I was gonna put this one at #2 but I had an epiphany. I fear in the beginning stages Abyss would definitely try to keep you at arms length because of his eye. Oh especially if you met him while he was wearing an eyepatch and didn’t know about his eye; in fact, he feels guilty because he feels like he’s tricking you by being around you at all. Not only this but he has to split his time between you and Lord Abel as well so. However he does feel a little selfish with you and he really does like you so he spends time with you when:

- In the Forest— Just being alone with you in the forest takes the weight of social pressure off of him. It’s almost like the forest is keeping a secret between you and him. He doesn’t have to worry about whether or not people would avoid you seeing you with him nor does he even have to think about his eye or if you’d accept it, he can just live in the moment and enjoy reading with u

- In Classes no one else he knows attends— Similar to the forest it’s like keeping a secret but this time it’s specifically because none of his friends are here to see him acting so selfishly.

- He’s Jealous— Now he wont say anything buttt when he’s jealous Abyss will stick to you like a bad habit although still keeping you at a short distance. He just feels like he needs to be with you atm don’t mind him.

- You Reassure Him— Similarly, when you assure him that you don’t mind his reputation or eye (if you know) it makes him want to be around you more and all of that day he’ll be around you more than usual. He’s so grateful just to have met you and for you to say all that? He’s over the moon; he almost feels like he can finally breathe freely

As time goes on he definitely gets insanely good at this considering he loves being around you and the only thing holding him back is his insecurity. I def think that once you’ve been dating a long time or married he clings to you like crazy and even in the beginning stages once he’s gotten comfortable with you he’d follow you like a lost puppy even though his behavior is more catlike lol

4. Physical Touch:

He’s not very good at touch I’m ngl he can barely form words around you let alone touch you 😭. BUT. He does sometimes put the moves on you without noticing and he does try his best. This would include:

- Playing with ur hair when you’re alone or fixing it if he notices it got a bit messed up

- Fixing/Tidying up ur clothes between classes if he notices sth wrong like you tying your tie wrong or if the way you tied your bow was a little crooked (idk why I just think he’d be insanely good at tying bows/ties I bet he ties Abel’s for him too that boy can NOT tie a tie without it looking a little goofy)

- Resting his hands on your back or shoulders when you hug him. Now this seems like normal behavior but its A LOT for him ok his heart is pounding but he really does enjoy being in your arms

- Patting your head awkwardly or holding your face (if he’s feeling bold) when you’re upset bc he doesn’t know what to do but all he knows is he wants you to feel better and that he misses your smile

As time goes on he slowly gets better with physical touch but honestly he gets better VERY slowly like even if he can handle your advances I’m not sure he’ll be able to initiate things like kissing until marriage LOL ok well thats a bit much but you’ll have to have been in a relationship for a while

(Also a silly little tidbit when he initiates physical touch he gets it from you. For example he holds your face because you’ve held his face before and he never felt more at peace so he wanted to give you that same feeling)

5. Words of Affirmation:

Well. Speaking words isn’t one of his strong suits especially to someone he’s infatuated with. HOWEVER his sincerity is unmatched when he does manage to say something. Usually when he speaks words of affirmation they aren’t direct words of love like “I love you” or anything like that but it is always very sweet. He says things like:

- “Thank you.” — He never stops thanking you and apologizing 😭😭 He just needs you to know that he knows he’s so lucky to have you and that he would never EVER take you for granted

- “It’s an honor” — He says this OFTEN everything he gets to do with you is an honor because he feels as though he doesn’t deserve you; he can’t give you all that you deserve yet you stick by his side with no hesitation? He feels blessed; even wonders if The Lord (tm) Abel has something to do with this. He’s just so happy and most of all, grateful

- “I’m so glad to have met you” — This is one that he often mumbles under his breath when you’re being sweet to him; his feelings just swell in his heart at that moment and he lets it slip from his mouth

- “I need you” — He only said this like one (1) ☝️ time but im running out of words ok ANYWAY he’d say this to you only in critical moments like in the heat of the moment if you had been badly injured and you’re just barely hanging on. Besides this under normal circumstances, he’d say this while asking for your forgiveness after he had been avoiding you for a long time out of insecurity and you’re mad at him

As time goes on he gets MUCH better with words of affirmation and has been consciously making an effort to say more because he doesn’t want you to ever think that he doesn’t love you or isn’t proud of you. It’s so often in your beginning dating stage that he’ll stutter something incomprehensible and then give up and try again later going, “A-about earlier…(incomprehensible stuttering)” (he’s trying to say I love you or I’m proud of you or something similar but he couldn’t quite find the words)

✨️TOLKIEN BLACK HEADCANONS ✨️

trigger warning: very small, miniscule mentions of racism (its just cartman being a dick)

• Tolkien Abel Black

• He/Him

• Born on June 20th, 2003

• 6'1"

• Straight (possibly)

• Very generous with his money. His parents give him an allowance of $50 a week and he just spends it on buying lunch for him and his friends so they don’t have to eat the shitty cafeteria food. He very regularly gives his friends random gifts or cash.

• Like Butters, he's another one of those kids who gets along with pretty much everyone. He's a pretty chill guy who doesn't really worry a lot and he's easy to talk to. He's the therapist friend that everyone comes to for advice.

• Once he got older and started realizing how incredibly screwed up the majority of his classmates were, Tolkien decided to learn therapy tools and read up on self-help so he could help his friends. He originally started because he realized he didn’t know how to help Clyde with his grief over his mom. In between 5th to 7th grade he did a lot of research about how to deal with things like depression, PTSD, mental health disorders, etc. He also uses what he's learned to self-regulate his own emotions which is why he's usually calm and centered.

• Tries to avoid Cartman as much as possible. Heidi and Butters had to beg him to let Cartman in his house and he said no like 20 times before he just gave up and let him inside on the premise that he can't make any racist or antisemitic comments during his stay. Cartman, of course broke this rule a few times which led to Tolkien physically forcing him out of his house.

• Plays keyboard and piano and sings beautifully but he's embarrassed and only does it in front of Nichole.

• Tolkien was told by Clyde that "rich people smoke cigars" so he tried when he turned 16. It was so bad, he couldn’t stop coughing and started freaking out like he smoked weed.

• Wants to go into social media marketing as an adult and eventually become a CEO.

• Usually a very busy guy, he takes lot of extra-curriculars and is in the debate club, chess club, soccer team and robotics club.

• Big fan of 80s martial arts movies like The Last Dragon, the Karate Kid series, Shogun Assassin and Revenge of the Ninja. It inspired him to learn martial arts and use nun-chucks.

• He tried to learn martial arts from Red and Wendy but Red kept purposely beating the shit out of him. (Read my Red Hcs you'll know why) and Wendy had to get her off of him a few times. He eventually learned karate from Wendy and his parents sent him to a private martial arts tutor.

• Writes in calligraphy. His father taught him and that's just his default writing. He actually had to teach himself to write "sloppy" because for a while his teachers thought someone else was writing his work (because what 4th grader knows fucking calligraphy). He's also ambidextrous (can write with both hands).

• Listens to Frank Ocean, Steve Lacy, and SZA

• Tolkien is very perceptive and can easily figure people out so he already knew Kyle liked Nichole and Red liked her too. It was painfully obvious (literally) with Red, they kept beating the shit out of him for no reason and looking annoyed whenever he kissed Nichole. With Kyle, it was obvious because he kept avoiding him and Nichole in middle school and this actually hurt his feelings because Tolkien has a lot of respect for Kyle and next to Clyde saw him as somewhat of a best friend. Of course, they all talked about it later but during the time Tolkien felt a little bit betrayed and partly blamed himself.

• Interestingly enough, he has no idea that Clyde genuinely loves him. He does love Clyde too but only platonically.

• He actually did question if he was bisexual or not and he doesn’t know for sure. He knows for a fact he definitely loves Nichole and isn't attracted to men sexually but as of lately he's been finding himself become a little bit flustered when Clyde compliments him.

• Wendy only dated Tolkien because she wanted to date someone who wasn't in Stan's immediate circle but was close enough for him to recognize. Tolkien volunteered because he was just happy that a pretty girl was briefly interested in him but he eventually ended things with her because he realized she didn’t actually want him and didn't really reciprocate his affection as much as he'd like.

• Really fucking hates how everyone is either constantly filtering their words around him so they don’t come off as racist (Kind of like Stan) or they have zero awareness and/or intentionally say something racist (Cartman basically).

• Gives everyone his old clothes, phones, and shoes.

• Hangs out with Kyle and Stan pretty often when he's outside of Craig's group. They're his best friends right after Craig.

• Randomly gives money to Kenny solely out of guilt. Kenny tries to refuse it but Tolkien fucking shoves it in his hands because whenever he sees that guy show up to school in ripped up, dirty jeans he got from a dumpster and a $2 white tee shirt with 30 holes in it, he starts feeling so guilty, it goes straight to his stomach and makes his wanna vomit.

• Took fencing classes until he graduated.

• His parents tried to get him into classical music but he never saw the appeal. They blame it on his classmate's influence since most of Tolkien's friends listen to rock or pop music but he just genuinely doesn’t get the point of hearing music with no lyrics.

• Really likes pandas and 100% believes they won't hurt him if he got near one. He forgets they're like wild animals, he's been asking his parents to buy him a panda as a pet. (Discovering Kung Fu Panda made him break down into tears of joy)

• Started watching Steven Universe with Nichole and got invested in the lore too. He finds the complicated emotional themes very refreshing to see in a cartoon.

• The chess club was actually started by Tolkien and funded by Tolkien's parents, he came up with the idea because he was already really good at chess but needed some people to play him other than Craig since he kept beating him and was getting bored of winning all the time.

Again please don't call me racist for these, it was already pointed out to me that a big mentioning of racial issues in headcanons aren't exactly the best way to go so I toned it down some (go see my Nichole Hcs, I edited some of the racial things.)

That being said I LOVE TOLKIEN he's so perfect he does no wrong

literally like he's the one character where I can't find anything wrong with him, HE'S A GODSEND.

First Impression:

I didn't think much about him at first. I just thought he was kind of cool, especially since I never cared for a lot of his type of powers, but the specific way he uses them was super interesting so he was a joy to watch.

Impression Now:

Dude he fascinates me. I need to put him in a vivarium and document him. He was aggressive right out the gate, but he was created to be a challenge to fight. I love how he introduces Dark Lord to freedom, I love how he just jumps into destruction and murder the first chance he gets because he was CREATED to fight. Even if Alan isn't there, his influence still is, and I love how he slowly realizes it isn't what he wants. Absolutely fucking fascinating character to me.

Favorite Moment:

I really love the moment when he's first in the Box with Victim. The way he's barely reacting to Victim hitting him, and even when being attacked (even if its incredibly weak and doesn't hurt) his initial reaction is to simply grab Victim's hand and just pull it off of him. The fact he knows how much stronger he is and doesn't want to hurt him, its such a far cry from when he was destroying sites and killing people alongside Dark Lord. Unfortunately for every moment of kindness Chosen has, it never works out

Idea for a Story:

Chosen finding a way to rewind the memory scanner just so he can see Dark Lord again.

Unpopular Opinion:

I'm not sure how unpopular it is, but I do see all four of the hollow heads as siblings. Including Victim.

Favorite Relationship:

Him and Dark Lord, no competition. While I do love the whole "Cain and Abel" vibe him and Victim have, his relationship with Dark Lord is so fucking tragic to me. His only friend was somebody who was programmed to kill him. And even if he introduced that friend to freedom and being more than the initial creation, Dark Lord... never really gets out of it

Dark may not try to kill him, but he kills everything else. He looks to Chosen with his plan of mass murder and thinks it'll impress Chosen. He's proud to show it off to him. And Chosen hates it. Chosen wants the freedom to simply live without the influence of Alan, and Dark doesn't want it for the same.

And when Dark dies, when he is gone, I do think Chosen grieves him. Dark was all he had. The two lived together for years. Even if Dark was a horrible person, even if he knows he shouldn't grieve him, Chosen does. He knows he isn't a good person either. But its the first time hes been alone since he was in Alan's computer.

Favorite Headcanon:

I personally love the headcanon that he was the one who started attacking everything on the Internet and Dark Lord followed and didn't want to stop.

Back with my angst this time, thank you^^! I have this HC that Adam eats so much meat is because he's trying to "honour" his son Abel when in truth, he's trying hard to forget about Cain, and eating some cereals/vegetables reminds him too much of him and the fact that he had neglected him/showed favoritism towards Abel. It's so bad that he can barely hold it in and sometimes, he just throw up afterwards. Once, he blamed Lucifer for it, but Lucifer told him off. (1/?)

Man, the whole gluttony thing being a way to cope is painfully real. I imagined that after all this time, he probably doesn't even remember why vegetables make him sick. It's just something that he's done ever since he was alive and probably repressed the real reason.

Adam blaming everything on Lucifer, including the things that he OBVIOUSLY had no part in, is also completely possible lol. Humans already blame the devil and demons and all of that for their own mistakes, so imagine if you knew the Devil personally lmao, yeah it would be easier to just put everything on him. In reality I feel like he does that because otherwise the guilt would eat him alive.

I'm curious about something, how exactly would things be different if Lucifer had given the apple to Adam instead? Why wouldn't that make him bitter?

It's quite funny that Adam's real progress would be in Hell, of all places lol, but absolutely I think Heaven just turned a blind eye to any and all of his bad behaviors. Every time he did a little mistake, no one stopped him, no one scolded him, there were no consequences, so of course, he started thinking those behaviors were okay, and then after thousands of years this turned him into someone with a fucked up moral compass, especially for a winner.

But back to the first idea it got me thinking abt another reason why abel wasnt featured in hh & its cuz his presence would have the plot twist that angels dont know what makes a person go to heaven not making a lick of sense.all across abrahamic lore its stated clearly that abel was favored by god becuz his offering was sincere & from the heart unlike his brother.so in hindsight, adam of all ppl should have known what gets one accepted to paradise becuz his son was technically the first pious worshipper of god🤷🏻‍♀️

WHOOOAAA- after hemming and hawing over it for a while, I finally decided to post my takes on Cain and Abel for Hazbin Hotel!!

I’ve been thinking about these two an unhealthy amount, so here they are- the human versions, and then their versions in Hell hehe~ Below I have more in-depth reasonings behind their designs and the story I have given for them both~

Starting off let’s start with Abel!! The youngest little man here we go!!

For Abel- I really wanted him to take after Adam a lot. He resembles him the most, inheriting his brown hair, possibly build as well, and relatively taking after him a bit in personality as well just a little bit, mostly in being pretty prideful (which isn’t hard to do when you’re Heaven’s, and objectively your dad’s, favorite kid oops-). Not much to say on his human design, he’s pretty dang simple, so let’s get into his demon side shall we?

Now- Abel I imagine is in hell, which is like. Vaguely confirmed when Sera brings up the fact that Adam was the first human soul in Heaven. Now, frankly, while that’s most likely a throw away line, I wanna imagine that there’s a genuine reason that Abel ended up in hell, and I wanna say he became a little sinful in his life and that gave him his one way ticket to Hell.

With being the golden child of Heaven and his family, I wanna think he became a bit too prideful and arrogant about it, and with everyone around him basically being a yes-man to him, he just sorta internalized it and ran with it (parallels to Adam?? Yes.) While I imagine he wasn’t like a complete asshole, and has a good heart deep down, it just wasn’t enough, and the boy woke up in Hell.

For his demon design, I wanted to keep it fairly simple and give him a sheep/ram motif since 1. Being a shepherd, he’s around sheep and rams, and 2. a play on the whole ‘sacrificial lamb’ because he was the first ever victim of murder? Lots of fun to play with. He’s got a little sheep tail, possibly some furry haunches he keeps sheared to wear pants, and little cloven feet. I’m not the most satisfied with it, since it’s my first time doing something like this, but I’m fairly happy with how he looks. Little sheep boy we love~ I will probably redesign him before the year is over I swear-

And- for the wildest part, I wanna say he took after Adam in more ways than one and is in a rather popular rock band in Hell. I wanna imagine maybe Adam passed down his love of music/singing to his sons, as a treat, and Abel just kinda went with it since well. What else can ya do, gotta make a living doing something. He goes by his stage name commonly, to make sure no one knows he’s the son of Adam- the guy responsible for a lot of demon death. He’s not particularly strong, so keeping his head low and the truth of his lineage a secret is very very important for him.

I also imagine his time in Hell has seriously humbled him, so he’s much less arrogant and just living his life down there. He’s realized his own wrongs and is just trying his best to keep on living. Only big downside is he has to consistently go through new band members as some do get killed in the exterminations, thanks a lot Adam :|

And now for Cain

For Cain, I like him taking after Eve the most, so I decided to go with a more dirty-blond hair look. I do HC Eve as looking similar, if not identical, to Lilith so lighter hair was a must- and not only that, but with the theories of Cain being Lucifer’s son, I did wanna give a little nod towards that as well (and give Adam some subconscious reasons to favor his younger son over Cain whooopsie-)

I also gave him freckles because those are for me, as a treat.

I didn’t exactly want Cain to be vengeful and full of pure evil, I love those versions of him very much, but I wanted to play with the regret and remorse aspect a bit more, as well as the whole redemption thing. So in my HC’s Cain killed Abel in his fit of rage and jealousy, but once he’s off on his own and cursed by Heaven to wander alone with his immortality, he does genuinely start to regret it. At first of course he blames Heaven, his dad, Abel, anyone else but himself, but as the years drag on, he does genuinely begin to regret and repent for it.

Of course the damage is done, and his spawns are unfortunately evil, but he does work hard to repent for his mistakes, and once he inevitably does die much much later on, he’s genuinely repented enough so that he is at first granted access into Heaven. Heaven is technically all about redemption and all for humanity, so I think it’d be fun to flip the scripts a bit and let Cain just taste something good like that, all that hard work did pay off.

But unfortunately for him, a certain someone is (very) the slightest bit pissed off that he got up there when his brother didn’t and took it upon himself to send Cain to Hell personally.

Because I enjoy ✨family drama✨ very much. That’s for meeee-

Because of that he’s just kind of a little guy, got some cool horns, clawed hands, just a little guy doin his best. Cain generally just kind of keeps to himself and does his own thing. Due to his lineage, he also goes by a different name to avoid people making the connection between him and Adam as well. While he probably would have a few sinners going for him since he’s the first murderer and that could possibly get him some good street cred, it could also be very bad for him, so he really just keeps to himself and does his best to avoid other demons as much as possible. I imagine he would be rather powerful as well, and could hold his own very easily in Hell, but he prefers to just be left alone so you’d never know how powerful he truly is.

I also say he enjoys plants. While he also got the music treatment, he prefers to just grow various types of plants in his home and possibly sells some different ones as well. It ain’t much, but it’s honest work. Got his temper still, but now he’s just kind of living his life and avoiding people the best he can.

Now- I also wanna imagine both brothers do have some sort of relationship with each other as well when they’re in Hell together. They do eventually run into each other, both are shocked seeing the other there, and they have plenty of time to talk about everything.

It’s not the closest in the world, but Cain sincerely apologized for his actions when they were alive, and Abel did forgive him, so now they do chat a bit about their jobs, small things here and there, and are relatively polite towards each other. Not best friends or anything like that, but they can hold good conversations and joke around a bit. Cain also gives Abel plants as house warming gifts and such, and sometimes Abel can’t tell if the plants are genuine or if it’s a thinly veiled threat due to some being a bit more dangerous than others- but he appreciates it nonetheless~

• abel currently resides in heaven, though under secret identity (mostly just disguised with angel soldier armor) due to the fact he was supposed to remain in limbo, but was extracted by michael early. adam does not know he's there - he thinks he's still in limbo or missing. • he is one of michael's 778 legionnaire soldiers - a faction that is seen as above the exorcists (who are the mall cops of heaven basically) vs the legionnaires who are the actual army led by michael, and yes they have guns. lots of guns. • his natural hair is brown like adam's and you can see some of it at the nape/bottom part of his undercut hairstyle. when he was saved by michael, he would wake up later with the top part of his hair turned golden like michael's (with the brown undercut still) indicating michael's claim over his services as a 778 legion member. • he has a poor sense of reading the room (a fact that carries over after death when he had no idea his brother wanted to kill him). • he spent the entire time up til then in limbo- which for him was just floating aimlessly in the middle of an ocean with nothing around. • in heaven he has hobbies such as surfing, and he's a certified life guard. • his soul instrument is the ukelele, but he can also play drums and tuba. • no playlist but i imagine this would be on it for vibe reasons. band vibes would be queen 100%.

additional:

• like adam was tasked with naming all the animals, abel becomes saddled with the task of tasting all the animals to see which ones are the tastiest and then finding the best of the tastiest to offer to the creator (like a macabre Pokedex) after he ends up offering a very tasty lamb on pure coincidence and then God decides he's the best for the job. • vice versa - cain always gave what was needed, but not necessarily what was wanted. this ties abel's theme in with beelzebub in the sense he is happy to provide wants over needs (and this is part of the reason that fuels cain's anger and jealousy - in other words, abel is 'that girl' aesthetic and cain can't replicate it or doesn't see the point of it.) • abel has definitely referred to the best lambs he's raised as cotton candy. • he's very adamant about tasting new things and very good at finding the best ingredients, however when it comes to putting them together, he takes after his mother in the cooking field (sucks) though his philosophy that putting all the yummiest things together has to result in something yummy. • cain wanted to kill him before, but the straw that broke the camel's back was abel cooking one of cain's unorthodox pets- • his and his eve's cooking is only bad to non stoners. stoners love the munchies they concoct. • during his stay in limbo (floating aimlessly in the ocean) he ends up happening on michael who was searching for but unable to find him due to limbo's terms and conditions for souls being untraceable. he finds him because michael becomes a beacon of light and like a light house, attracts abel in who's curious about the new light. • while surfing in heaven during lilith's stay / her secret dealings with adam, she ends up taking the form of a shark and biting abel's leg off. because of her demonic influence/ venom, the wound can not heal and the limb does not regenerate as expected - growing back in the form of a lamb's leg. • that boy is neurodivergent as fuckkkk. (our autistic king.) • absolutely makes this face when he's trying to recall if he's tasted a certain animal before or not and the subsequent pay attention, honey slap.

Okay, I think I remember reading a tale. I don't know where about scp-076 about him losing his memories and forgiving his brother. I'm wondering what would happen if we applied that to your au as a matter of fact, considering that Abel's body is mostly rotting is his brain, okay aside from well .....the obvious . Also, in that same story, he didn't resurrect. I wonder how Cain would react to that in your au if that happened?

In my hc, the rot that Able's body exhibits is mostly a physical representation of their mental state. If their mental state is stable, this rot will not appear on their body, so in that case they will probably be with very little or none rot.

More than anything Cain would be relieved that Able can finally rest, but we never know for sure.

@leftrib/@perditicn - Always gonna recommend this person, this is my buddy Hound, and while they're a slow writer their stuff is ALWAYS worth waiting for. They also like to plot and discuss things extensively which is a VERY big bonus for people who like to talk things out on how muses would respond to things / each other and see where things can lead, especially when it comes to plotting, etc etc. They put a lot of thought and love into their characters and writing and it certainly shows.

@shadowzgather - Another instant recommend. I've been writing w/ Tera since joining the ducktales / dwd fandom. Their main two is Pentious and Valentino but they've also recently added a few ocs, Abel, and Alastor. They're a good writer with interesting takes on their characters. 10/10 would recommend. { They also just reminded me that they recently added Stolas, mb }

@xluciifer - goofy fella, does a REALLY good job with Lucifer and puts so much thought into him. They're always a joy to read with their threads, don't let the fact they're mobile bound turn you away ! They put a lot of effort into their blog and the character and it certainly shows.

@demondads - SAM. 10/10 WOULD RECOMMEND SAM. They have another blog too i'm pretty sure its @thestupidmeanone which is Church w/ a HH AU on it. Sam's a JOY to talk to and a joy to watch on the dash and write with. 

@plxgue4two - I haven't seen MUCH thread wise but what I have seen i've enjoyed a LOT. Bug has SO much passion for this OC and she's SO well written and thought out. Just { chefs kiss }

@hellshoard - I've been following them for awhile but I gotta say I'm glad I FINALLY got to start writing with them and I would 100% recommend them as well. The mun's a sweetheart { and chaotic } and the muses are great. 

@fearedelight - Sal is another one I recently followed but they also have some REALLY neat ocs + i love their takes on their canons, especially Mammon. { sorry Sal i've been snooping in your HC's } They're also super nice and easy to talk to.

@vietat0 - I see a lot of eve's around but I think this is probably the first one I've gotten to write with and they've def got an interesting take on her imo. Worth checking out + mun is really nice.

@arachnaemboss - and last but not least, this Zestial, I haven't gotten to write with them but I very much do enjoy the portrayal. I'd recommend checking them out if you haven't yet.

I love your version of Ace's siblings. Ace being a middle child just makes so much sense. As a middle child, yeah, it'll turn you into a screwed up little horseboy.

I'd love to hear any headcanons on the family dynamics, either between the sibling ocs, Ace and his siblings, or something with the parents. Anything about the Markey fam tbh.

I was kinda planning on doing some sketches of the siblings Interacting with Ace, but my energy to draw is weird atm so ill leave that for another time

Here's some hcs for em doe:

-Agnes and Audrey used to dress up Ace in different dresses and costumes because "his petit physique is so cute". They obviously don't do that anymore, but Agnes became more of close to him after he expressed his discomfort. Nowadays, Audrey tells him that if he took better care of himself, he could do modeling for a living just like her.

-Abel is very strict with everyone. Specially Ace. He constantly criticizes Ace's habits much to the jockey's annoyance. He does make sure to not be too harsh on him, and invites him to eat everytime Ace wins a big race.

-Atlas and Alan make it their mission to scare Ace. Alan memorizes obscure and terrifying facts (most of them about horses) and drops them whenever he talks to Ace. Atlas, on the other hand, invites Ace to watch monster movies with him whenever he can. If he's not doing that, he dresses up as a monster and scares Ace himself.

-Avril looks up to Ace as he's a successful athlete. Whenever Ace is around, she tells him about her day and challenges him to competitions. They're even most of the time, although Avril always promises Ace that she's going to undoubtedly beat him through height.

-Anne and Athena are by far the closest to Ace. Anne is always worried about Ace's well-being. She tries to make sure he eats proper meals and isn't being too hard on himself... But bad habits die hard. Athena, on the other hand, loves pestering Ace with questions. The little chicken plushie she always carries around was a gift from Ace. "If you want to annoy me but I'm not home, talk to this thing" as he puts it.

-Ace and Angel actively avoid each other.

HC + Family (either with Michael or ANY of the legionaries you want to talk about it for)

Angels, as a general rule, do not have a concept of family in a way that is remotely similar to that of humans. They are all children of God, but do not consider each other to be siblings as a baseline.

This does not only stand in regards to the delineations between the different Choirs, but within them. Cherubs don’t really consider each other blood, for example. Michael does not consider Sera and Emily to be his sisters, despite the fact that they are all Seraphim and paternal role he tends to take over the younger of the two.

A stark exception to this is, of course, the Archangels. Much like the other angels, none of them would ever tell you that they are siblings in the sense that humans use the term, neither by blood nor by adoption, as they are purely spiritual beings who were created as they are.

The Archangels are brothers and sisters via an extremely complicated and long-running series of shared experience, promises and oaths, and a fondness borne of being the first angels to ever exist, each an exemplar of one aspect of Creations beauty. They were siblings before such a concept even existed, as Adam and Lilith were born from dust, Eve from bone. There was not a word for what they are, until Cain held Abel in his arms joyfully.

Then, and only then, was there a word for that gentle fondness that was exchanged between them, that concern that rose for each other, that deep and ragged wound that Lucifer had left in all of them when he had been cast out.

Actually, coming back to this post for a moment, Pickles does mention he's "very Irish,,, -American" and not to generalize too much on my blog, but there's a lot of overlap between Irish communities and Catholic communities, and that plus Midwest culture makes me reconsider my original thought. Maybe Pickles did in fact attend St. Mary's as opposed to Tomahawk Elementary. I guess it depends on how you want to HC Pickles' upbringing. I don't even know how Irish Calvert and Molly might be, but those are (or at least can be considered) Irish names, and I don't know how religious they are but but they did name their favorite kid Seth. Very interesting to me.

(Also my knowledge of any religion is so so very faint. But if i'm right, isn't Seth like, the 'good' brother in the bible? Cain kills abel or something and Seth is the new brother who is good or something like that? Which is, obviously, very ironic considering Seth the Brother's pathological lying and scamming and violent nature. perhaps this too is a reflection of the favoritism that Calvert and Molly take part in.)

We can technically say we know where Pickles went to school, and that's because Tomahawk, Wisconsin only has three schools in it. Tomahawk Elementary, Tomahawk Middle, and Tomahawk High. There's only the three options in town! Unless he went to St. Mary's Catholic School, I guess, but the classroom they use in Rehabklok (which is just a reused asset from Dethgov) doesn't look very Catholic school to me, but I suppose I didn't go to one, so I wouldn't know.

Anyways, there's a little fun fact for ya.
