turned furnace down to temp below the current temp, which (usually) turns it off after a while. went upstairs. doublechecked the two vents up there, one of them was blocked, unblocked it. brushed my teeth. furnace still running. waiting sooo patient for it to finish whatever long-ass cycle it's doing and go silent but if it doesn't soon I'm flipping the dang kill switch.

I wanna go to bed

edit: kill switch flipped the thermostat said low-battery and I'm wondering if it wasn't sending shut-off signals to the furnace but it was definitely taking longer than it should have so I made it go to bed goodnight fucko
