Deportation and Human Rights: Balancing Sovereignty, Security, and Dignity
The deportation of illegal immigrants remains a complex and often controversial issue, balancing a nation’s right to enforce its laws with the ethical imperative of treating individuals humanely. Recent instances of deportations, especially those involving Indian nationals from the United States, have reignited debates over the use of restraints like handcuffs and the broader human rights implications of such practices. While immigration enforcement is a legitimate function of any sovereign nation, the manner in which it is carried out must align with international human rights norms and ethical considerations. This article examines the legal foundations of deportation, concerns over human rights violations, and how enforcement can be made more humane without compromising national security.

ICE raids are happening.
Any immigrants, no matter how long you have been a citizen of the USA, is at risk of being deported either out of the country as a whole or into what are basically concentration camps. Raids starting in Chicago, Illinois. and spreading to other major cities with high POC and Hispanic populations. The US Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) have started raiding homes and families in California.
There are no "protected locations" as of January 21, 2025. Hospitals, schools, and churches are all at risk of being raided, where before these places were deemed safe and off limits to raids.
When it comes to spotting an ICE agent, look for these:
Weirdly neat/well kept hair (shaved heads, side parts, military burs for men; low buns, high ponytails, close cropped bobs for women)
Oversized jacket (long and bulky outerwear makes it easier to hide tools/equipment without being suspicious)
Both hands in pockets
Many undercover agents/cops buy cheap plain clothes off the racks so they aren’t seen in their own clothes. This can make their outfit seem awkward
Sweatshirts with the hood up
Sports apparel (warm up jacket, sweats, etc) with non-sports clothes (jeans, cargo shorts)
Cargo pants/shorts (usually full of items like their badge, flashlight, taser, pepper spray, backup handcuffs, zip ties)
Military or hiking style boots, sometimes chunky sneakers (extra points if none of it matches anything in their outfit)
Outline of a gun in their pants/shirt (easy to see when bending, leaning, or raising arms) (NO NOT SAY ANYTHING)
Overly friendly
Overly inquisitive
“How old are you” and “what do you know about this happening” are both red flags, along with generally odd and personal questions
Don’t fit in
Mismatched pairs in public spaces (usually cops do these things in pairs. They don’t talk to each other or acknowledge each other much, if at all)
DO NOT SAY ANYTHING UNTIL YOU ARE 100% SURE
YOUR BEST BET IS NOT TO SAY ANYTHING UNTIL THE SUSPECT STARTS ACTING OFF AND GETTING PUSHY
COPS ARE NOT OBLIGATED TO TELL YOU THAT THEY ARE UNDERCOVER
COPS CAN AND WILL LIE TO YOU
SCREAM “LA MIGRA” AT THE TOP OF YOUR LUNGS
For protesting:
N95 masks
Respirator/gas mask if you have access to one
Water water water water water (I hate to say it, but disposable one use bottles are best here. If it comes to it, you need to be able to drop and run.) Use for flushing wounds, flushing eyes of tear gas, and of course drinking.
Snacks! You'll be doing a lot of walking and/or running and need to keep that energy up. Trail mix, dried fruit, nuts, granola bars, crackers, jerky/meat sticks, fruit snacks, candy, etc. Think of it like packing your lunchbox for a field trip.
Eyedrops (teargas is a bitch)
Goggles (I bring my old snowboarding goggles)
If you are wearing a t-shirt or have exposed skin, put on fake/temporary tattoos. If you are brought into something and they say you were there, showing a picture of you with the tattoos, show them where that tattoo would be and how there’s nothing there. How would you get rid of a giant flower on your forearm in 2 days anyways?
Wigs fall under the same category as tattoos. The person they're claiming to be you has a blonde bob and you have green hair past your shoulders. It also makes it possible to go with a completely different color without the use of hair dye. This means if they try to arrest you later and try to prove it was you by taking your hair and testing for dye, it won't come back the way they hope. (Thank you @violetrosepetals for this addition!)
Hide your hair. I tuck my hair into my beanie since it’s short. If you have longer hair, try to do the same or tuck it into your shirt. Balaclavas are also a good choice, as they cover both your face and hair.
Power bank
Chargers
Helmet. Any is fine, my personal choice is a skating helmet since they’re rounder and can take more damage, but tactical is also good
Hand sanitizer
Gloves with hard knuckles (tactical gloves). These pack a good punch even if you don't have the correct form. Don't have those? Wrist guards for roller skating/skateboarding work kinda like that too. More of a slapping motion, but still hurt like a bitch. Extra points if they're all scuffed up from use and falls.
Bandanas. Somebody might need one for their face or hair, maybe you need to get dirt off somebody’s face, maybe somebody got injured. They’re great for anything and everything.
Cash (try to stick to cash, your card can be tracked)
Medications if you take them. If you get arrested or happen to somehow be away for longer than expected after the protest, it’s always good to have emergency meds
FIRST AID ALL THE FIRST AID (Tourniquet, Quikclot, chest seal, trauma shears, gauze, bandages, duct tape, and all the usual stuff you’d have in there)
Good shoes. Boots and sneakers are your best choices. Not heels, not platforms, not sandals. Good boots or shoes that won't come off your feet too easily when you run. Steel toed shoes are a great option. Your toes won't be squashed, but also it'll hurt someone a lot more if you start kicking.
Spare socks. Trust me. You can use them to stop bleeding if it comes to it, but also you can put rocks in there and boom weapon. Also if the socks you're wearing get wet.
As much covering clothing as you can handle. Plain jeans, plain hoodie, plain t-shirt, keep yourself as anonymous as possible. Black and baggy is best.
Photocopy of your ID, not your real one.
Sunscreen!
Make sure your clothes have pockets, even if you have a bag. You want everything to be easily accessible.
Do not wear contact lenses. If tear gas is used, that will make everything so much worse. Wear your glasses or go blind. If you have overly unique or identifiable frames, goggles are your friend here. Get some goggles that will fit over your frames, preferably ones that are tinted.
If you use mobility aids, cover defining features. Logos, brand names, colors, stickers, all of it. Take some old plain t-shirt and tie it around your wheelchair’s backrest. Wrap your wheelchair frame in cling wrap, then duct tape, or plain black self adhering medical tape. Cover stickers on your cane or crutches the same way. Electric chair? You have a little more work, but you can do it. Wrap it up. Same idea. Walker? Same thing. Cover. It. All.
If you are bringing a bag, make sure that bag is as plain as possible. No pins. No patches. No keychains. Except maybe a pride flag so people know which team you're playing on.
Scarf or keffiyeh if you have one. They have many uses!
Write a reliable phone number (of someone who is not at the protest with you) on your body. On the off chance you get arrested, that is your emergency contact.
Pocket knife.
Pepper spray/mace/bear spray
if you get tear gassed, shake around first before using water. Most tear gas is more of a powder and water has a high likelihood of just spreading it around. (Thank you @actually-a-bread-loaf for this addition!)
Tennis rackets also work wonderfully for chucking tear gas canisters back at those throwing them. Anybody asks, you're going out to play tennis with friends later. Baseball bats also work! (Thank you @azul-nova-24 for this addition!)
Anything you can throw. Soup for my family.
IF YOU CAN, LEAVE YOUR PHONE AT HOME
IF YOU HAVE TO TAKE IT WITH YOU, TURN OFF LOCATION SERVICES ON ALL APPS AND TURN OFF BIOMETRICS (FACE ID AND FINGERPRINT) SO YOU CAN ONLY UNLOCK YOUR PHONE WITH YOUR PASSWORD
COPS CAN FORCE YOU TO OPEN YOUR PHONE WITH YOUR FINGERPRINT OR FACE ID
MAKE SURE SOMEBODY KNOWS GENERALLY WHERE YOU ARE
If you see a potential or active raid, take pictures and note the time and location. Post online if you can, as well.
You have the right to remain silent. State that you wish to remain silent. Avoid giving information about anybody's immigration status. You have the right to refuse to sign anything before speaking to an attorney. You have the right to refuse searches of your car, your home, and yourself. Schools do not collect a child's immigration status.
I do not want to scare anybody, but this is what life is right now. That man does not care how long you have been a citizen of this country. If you are not a white, cisgender, heterosexual, Christian male, you are seen as less than by men in power. You are not less than. You are a threat to them, and they are scared. Keep it that way.
Even if you're not currently protesting, it's good to know this just in case. Things are happening very quickly, and there is a very high chance of it changing very quickly within the next four years.
Here's the link to my post on what to bring in terms of first aid.
If you cannot attend protests, that’s fine. Do what’s best for you. Even just reposting information helps.

Colombia joins Mexico as another Latin American country that is refusing to accept military deportation flights from the US. “The US cannot treat Colombian migrants as criminals,” Colombian president Gustavo Petro posted on Twitter.
Deportations require international cooperation. "The US can't unilaterally deport people," wrote political science professor Michael Paarlberg on Bluesky. The US must respect the sovereignty of other countries; if those countries refuse to accept deportations but the US proceeds with them anyway, conflict could ensue. And what happens to immigrants the Trump administration arrests if no other country will accept them?
Slavery is still legal in the US if one is incarcerated. I can see a very real path forward that would see immigrants legally forced into what are essentially work camps. Sound familiar?
Meanwhile, Brazilian citizens deported from the US arrived in their home country in handcuffs. Individuals on board reported that they were treated inhumanely: "They didn’t give us water, we were tied hands and feet, they wouldn’t even let us go to the bathroom."
Regardless of how you feel about immigrants, no one should be treated this way.

The batch of deportees from the US, primarily from Punjab, Haryana, Gujarat, and a few other Indian states landed at Amritsar’s Shri Guru Ramdas Ji International Airport on Wednesday afternoon.
According to the reports, passengers, including 19 women and 13 minors, had endured a long and difficult journey, only to be shackled throughout their flight until arriving in India.
“For 40 hours, we were handcuffed, our feet tied with chains, and were not allowed to move an inch from our seats. After repeated requests, we were allowed to drag ourselves to the washroom. The crew would open the door of the lavatory and shove us in”, said Harwinder Singh, one of the 104 ‘illegal’ immigrants whom the US deported, told the Indian Express.
He recalled the trip as a “worse than hell” experience, as they couldn’t even eat properly for 40 hours.
“They would force us to eat with handcuffs on. Our requests to the security personnel to remove the cuffs for a few minutes fell on deaf ears. The journey was not only physically painful but also mentally exhausting”, he described.
The family of the 40-year-old from Tahli village in Punjab’s Hoshiarpur district had barely begun celebrating his safe entry into the US, only to be shattered by the news that he had been deported.

Los Angeles, Comifornia police are releasing people rioting against ICE mass deportations.
SO MANY rioters are in zip ties and handcuffs, watch at the police walk tons of rioters over and release them one by one. They even give some directions on how to leave...
Comifornia is a total disaster from the governor all the way down to law enforcement. Ya gotta wonder how much money is flowing into their bank accounts after they took an oath to serve and protect?
And then ya gotta wonder if this is just a staged event using crisis actors to show the public the evil that could have been?
As always I will let You Decide 🤔

After three days in detention, Palestinian-American journalist Ali Abunimah, executive director of Electronic Intifada (EI), was deported from Switzerland on January 27, drawing condemnation from the UN rapporteur and rights groups
Tumblr media
Journalist Ali Abunimah has been released from detention by Swiss authorities and deported from the country after being held for three days, the American-Palestinian journalist said on Monday evening.
Abunimah, the executive director of the online news site Electronic Intifida, was detained by Swiss authorities on Saturday ahead of a planned speaking event in Zurich, sparking condemnation by activists and UN experts.
“On Monday evening I was brought to Zurich airport in handcuffs, in a small metal cage inside a windowless prison van and led all the way to the plane by police,” he wrote on X. “This is after three days and two nights in a Swiss prison cut off from communication with the outside world, in a cell 24 hours a day with one cell mate, not even permitted to contact my family.”
He said he was accused of “offending Swiss law”, without being given any specific charges. The journalist said he believed his crime was “being a journalist who speaks up for Palestine and against Israel’s genocide”.
Electronic Intifada is a US-based website founded in 2001 that describes itself as “an independent online news publication focusing on Palestine”.
Citing an entry ban, Swiss police said over the weekend that a 53-year-old American had been detained, and that further measures were being considered under its immigration laws.
Abunimah said that he was “hauled off to prison like a dangerous criminal”, while Israel’s president, Isaac Herzog, who said at the start of the war that there were no civilians in Gaza, “received a red carpet welcome in Davos”.

Because I have seen people spreading misinformation about the Colombia-United States situation. The issue from Colombia's part was never about not wanting to accept repatriated citizens. The issue was that they would be received if they were returned with dignified and fair treatment, not as criminals.
That was clear from the first moment.
Tumblr media
A migrant is not a criminal and must be treated with the dignity that a human being deserves.
That's why I turned back the US military planes that were carrying Colombian migrants.
I cannot allow migrants to remain in a country that does not want them; but if that country sends them back, it must be with dignity and respect for them and for our country. We will receive our fellow citizens on civilian planes, without treating them like criminals. Colombia is respected.
Tumblr media
The US cannot treat Colombian migrants as criminals.
I deny the entry of American planes carrying Colombian migrants into our territory.
The United States must establish a protocol for the dignified treatment of migrants before we receive them.
Tumblr media
I will never allow Colombians to be brought in handcuffs on flights. Marco, if officials from the Foreign Ministry allowed that, it would never have been under my direction.
I am a man of freedom, not of chains
The agreement that was reached was to bring the immigrants under fair conditions and with dignity, which was Petro's demand.
The official statement by the chancellery was:
The Government of Colombia reports that we have overcome the impasse with the Government of the United States.
In this context, Foreign Minister Luis Gilberto Murillo and Ambassador Daniel García-Peña will travel to Washington, D.C., in the next few hours to hold high-level meetings to follow up on the agreements, the result of the joint work and exchange of diplomatic notes that took place today between the two governments.
We will continue to welcome Colombians who return as deportees, guaranteeing them decent conditions as citizens with rights.
The Colombian government, under the direction of President Gustavo Petro, has the presidential plane ready to facilitate the return of the compatriots who were to arrive in the country today in the morning on deportation flights.
Colombia confirms that diplomatic channels of dialogue will be maintained to guarantee the rights, national interest and dignity of our citizens.
Tumblr media
That was the agreement that was reached. The sanctions imposed by both countries would be discarded, Colombia would receive the repatriated, but ONLY if they were guaranteed decent treatment upon their return to the country.

A Belligerent Trump Could Unite Latin America—Against Him
As diplomatic conflict and trade-war talk ramps up, the continent’s often fractious leaders could end up sharing an antagonist in common.
Tumblr media
Last Friday, the first wave of Brazilians deported from the United States since the inauguration of Donald Trump arrived in the Amazonian city of Manaus. Images of passengers deplaning in handcuffs and shackles, as well as allegations of inhumane treatment, caused an uproar over the weekend in the political discourse of Latin America’s largest nation. Entering the U.S. illegally is, after all, not a crime in Brazil.
The flight was part of a bilateral agreement between the U.S. and Brazil, signed in 2018, aiming to expedite the deportation of Brazilians held in U.S. immigration detention centers. In 2021, after reports that Brazilians were being handcuffed during deportation flights, the Brazilian government requested a review of the procedure by U.S. authorities, including then–national security adviser Jake Sullivan and former Secretary of State Antony Blinken. Brazilian officials note that the U.S. has a standard procedure of using handcuffs during the boarding of deportees while still on American soil.
However, the use of handcuffs during the flight is recommended only if there is a risk to the passengers or crew. At the time, Brazil’s foreign minister warned that if the request was not addressed, the Brazilian government could refuse to allow deportation flights to land in the country. As a result, standard practice has been to limit the use of handcuffs to the interior of the aircraft and only when necessary for flight security.
So far, the center-left government of Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva has taken a cautious approach in dealing with the new Trump administration. Some on the left sought a stern rebuke from Lula, but the Brazilian president does not seem eager to pick a fight with Trump so early into his second term. Brazilian diplomats have reportedly been instructed not to respond to Trump’s provocations but to firmly yet discreetly seek clarifications regarding the treatment of Brazilians in U.S. custody.
This weekend’s events came on the heels of a phone conversation between Lula and Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum, in which the two leaders “reaffirmed their commitment to fostering productive relations with all countries in the Americas, including the new U.S. administration, with the goal of preserving peace, strengthening democracy, and promoting regional development,” according to an official release. Reading between the lines, the heads of the two Latin American giants are huddling to strategize over how to react to Trump. Indeed, one unintended consequence of Trump’s return is that Mexico and Brazil are likely to enjoy warmer relations than they have in generations.

If these are men
(Published in Italian on La Stampa website, 25 Jan 2025 h 01:00)
Written by Caterina Soffici
Illegal immigrants in chains, heads bowed, lining up to board a plane that will deport them. In chains, like slaves on plantations, like prisoners of a dictatorship, like deportees in war.
We don't know anything about these people. All we know is that they picked them up in the raids that Trump promised on the campaign trail and they are not eligible to stay in the United States. They may be criminals. Or they might not. We don't know and we don't care. They always deport them like that, handcuffed. Maybe for law and order issues. Or for security. In chains one guard is enough to control several. We don't know and we don't care. Because in civilized countries, in democracies that are honored to bear that name, there is a rule: you don't show people handcuffed. Because handcuffs are a synonym for guilt. They are a disgrace, an infamy. In France, the media are not allowed to show pictures of handcuffed people until they are finally convicted. Ditto in Italy. In Japan, even the hands of the person in handcuffs are blurred in photos. In Hong Kong, to preserve the dignity of the handcuffed person, police offer a head covering or screen.
Instead, the White House displays the chains as a trophy and does so from the official account on the “X” platform. The message this photo wants to send to the world is clear: there they are, we caught them, look at these criminals. The image is not one of Elon Musk's craziness or one of Donald's late-night tweets. It would still be bad, but we've gotten used to it by now. The photo is an official image of the Trump 2.0 administration and is designed specifically to be taken up and discussed. This is how people communicate now: threats rather than messages, warnings entrusted to the network. What is new is the nastiness exhibited. Before, it was just done and people tried to deny it. Such an image, seized by an enterprising photographer, would have embarrassed the U.S. administration. Justifications would have been sought, excuses made, misunderstandings invoked. Remember the scandal over the treatment of prisoners at Guantanamo? Here, now it is the other way around. They are exhibited as a weapon of power.
In the age of Trump 2.0, not only are terrible things said. But they are done (or attempted to be done, consistent with judges ratifying their constitutionality). And they are flaunted to the world as evidence of how incisive the president's actions are. “Promise made, promise kept. Deportation flights have begun,” is the overprint. “President Trump is sending a strong message to the world: those who enter the United States illegally will face serious consequences.”
Hit one to scare a thousand. This is the new philosophy of this right wing that wants at all costs to “épater le bourgeois,” to corner the hated political correctness, to crush the hypocritical liberal elite. Little does it matter if in this triumphant march of nastiness, humiliation of the weakest, exaltation of wealth as a single and universal value, where no pietas is contemplated, rights are trampled upon and the very foundations of democracy are undermined. In fact, I tend to think that's exactly what the project is.

Federal agents nabbed a migrant Tren de Aragua gang crew holed up in a Bronx apartment — after tracking one of their ankle monitors to the hideout, sources told The Post.
The Dec. 5 raid at an apartment building on the edge of Crotona Park, conducted by a federal task force made up of Homeland Security Investigations and the NYPD, landed seven alleged gangbangers in handcuffs, including a troublesome 28-year-old Venezuelan national who was wearing a court-ordered monitoring device that led the feds to the crew.
“Better late than never,” quipped a law enforcement source who wondered why Jarwin Valero-Calderon was free despite at least three busts, a Nassau County conviction and a federal deportation order.
“This is what actual supervised release looks like?” the source asked. “The thing about ankle monitors is you have to actually monitor them to be effective.”
The raid was nonetheless a significant blow against TdA, the violent gang that snuck into the US with a wave of migrants seeking asylum since 2022 — and gained a foothold in New York.
Law enforcement officials said the gang has recruited inside tax-funded migrant shelters and runs violent theft and robbery crews while peddling drugs, guns and women in the five boroughs.
“What we’re seeing is this evolution of Tren de Aragua, where they’ve gone into these sanctuary cities,” said former Denver ICE chief John Fabbricatore. “They’ve started to solidify themselves and then they throw tentacles out to multiple other locations where they think that they can continue to make money.
“I think people are finally starting to realize how bad the situation has gotten.“
According to law enforcement sources, most of the gang members busted inside the Bronx apartment were sought on multiple warrants after crossing the US border with Mexico — then disappearing.
Among them was Jhonaiker Alexander Gil Cardozo, 24, who had amassed at least four busts in two states after crossing the border in El Paso in September 2022.
Cardozo was previously arrested by the NYPD on grand larceny and stolen property charges in July, and had two other Big Apple busts in June for reckless endangerment and robbery, sources said.
On June 28, he was also arrested for shoplifting in Greenville, South Carolina, according to the sources.
Another notorious TdA member, 30-year-old Jesus Manuel Quintero Granado, crossed the border in El Paso in September 2022 with his Peruvian wife and child, then headed into Canada, the sources said.
But Canadian authorities denied the family’s asylum request in September 2023 and shipped them back to the US, where northern border agents released them pending an immigration hearing, the sources added.
Quintero Granado quickly proved himself an undesirable with four arrests in New York and New Jersey.
The sources said he was first arrested for shoplifting in Paramus on Aug. 18, 2023, followed by an NYPD bust for grand larceny and possession of stolen property in July.
On Oct. 1, he was nabbed on a new shoplifting charge in Paramus, followed three days later by another grand larceny and stolen property arrest, this time in Walkill in upstate New York, sources said.
Also taken into custody after the Dec. 5 Bronx raid was Angel Gabriel Marquez Rodriguez, 19, who was released with a pending court date after crossing the border in September 2023 — only to run afoul of the law just two months later in Chicago, the sources said.
Rodriguez was arrested in Chicago on Nov. 3, 2023, on a shoplifting charge. Still free, he returned to New York City, where he was busted on larceny charges on March 30 and June 8.
Yet another migrant gangbanger busted in the raid, 21-year-old Fernandez Franco Greymer De Dios, was being processed for deportation after getting caught at the border in May.
However, the sources said he claimed fear of persecution and was released pending a court date — only to disappear, which resulted in a deportation order in absentia on Nov. 20.
Meanwhile, Valero-Calderon, the migrant fugitive whose ankle monitor led the feds to the gang, dodged the law several times before the Bronx raid, the sources added.
Valero-Calderon entered the US at Eagle Pass, Texas, in August 2022 and was released with a court date.
The sources said he reported to a US Immigration and Customs Enforcement office in the Big Apple the following month — but soon had a rap sheet of his own.
He was twice busted on larceny charges in New York and New Jersey, which led to a conviction in June 2023 — after a separate petty larceny conviction in Nassau County on April 24, 2023, records show.
Valero-Calderon then blew off a mandatory check-in with immigration authorities and was marked as a fugitive, yet somehow remained free despite a subsequent Florida arrest on Feb. 17 this year for fraud, larceny and resisting arrest, according to the sources.
He was ordered deported on April 25, but was still on the loose on Dec. 5.
All of the illegal migrants were identified by federal immigration sources as members of TdA.
The gang and an underaged offshoot, “Diablos de la 42,” or Devils of 42nd Street, have landed on NYPD radar in recent months, including for a rash of heists in Times Square.
The tiny terrors, some as young as 11, have exploited the state’s lax criminal justice and juvenile detention statutes to remain on the streets despite troubling rap sheets.

Kash Patel Confirmed as FBI Director. US Halted Weapon Deliveries to Ukraine. Massive attack averted in Israel. Ariel and Kfir Bibas brutally murdered by Hamas. 70 Christians Beheaded in Congo
Lioness of Judah Ministry
Feb 21, 2025
BREAKING: Senate Confirms Kash Patel as Trump’s FBI Director
The United States Senate has confirmed Kash Patel, President Donald J. Trump’s nominee to lead the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), in a 51-49 vote.
Patel’s nomination received intense pushback from Senate Democrats, with Senator Dick Durbin (D-IL) using procedural maneuvers to delay the confirmation vote, which was initially scheduled for last week. As the FBI director, Patel has pledged to end the bureau’s participation in partisan lawfare campaigns, telling members of the Senate Judiciary Committee in January: “There should be no politics at the FBI.” Instead, Patel aims to return the bureau to its intended purpose, investigating crime and bringing dangerous criminals to justice. During his Senate Judiciary Committee testimony, Patel emphasized he wants “…to let good cops be cops and put handcuffs on the bad guys.”
Trump Ends Biden-Era Protections for Haitians, Clearing the Way for Deportations
The Trump administration announced on Thursday that it is canceling the 18-month extension of Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for Haitian nationals residing in the United States granted by former President Joe Biden.
Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Kristi Noem revoked Biden’s extension, meaning the estimated 500,000 Haitians covered by TPS will see the protections expire in August instead of next February. The move clears the way for federal immigration officials to remove the Haitians from the United States once their TPS designation expires. In late January, President Donald J. Trump revoked the TPS designation for over 600,000 Venezuelan nationals and directed DHS officials to begin a review of other immigrant groups that received TPS protections under the Biden government.
Stephen Miller Vows to Mobilize ‘Full Might’ of DHS, DOJ, DOD for Mass Deportations
Stephen Miller, the White House Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy, stated in a briefing that the U.S. will utilize the resources of multiple federal departments to support President Donald J. Trump’s mass deportation program.
“I can promise you that the full might of the Department of Homeland Security, the Department of Justice, the Department of Defense, and every element and instrument of national power will be used to remove with speed all criminal illegals from the soil of the United States of America, to enforce final removal orders, and to ensure that this country is for American citizens and those that legally belong in this country,” he vowed. Miller confirmed the administration is committed to removing all criminal illegal immigrants from the United States, enforcing removal orders, and maintaining the integrity of American citizenship.
Incoming… CIA to Conduct Largest Mass Firing Since 1977
The CIA is planning to conduct its largest mass firing since 1977, according to The New York Times.
According to The Times, the CIA is firing officers working on “recruiting and diversity.” And more firings are to come. This comes one day after The New York Times reported that President Trump will fire 6,000 IRS workers. The Times reported that the majority of the terminations are employees hired by the Biden Regime.

There’s word (very strong and big word) that Donald Trump is going to start mass deportations on Tuesday, January 21, 2025.
He wants any immigrants, no matter how long they have been a citizen of the USA, to be deported either out of the country as a whole or into what are basically concentration camps. They’re starting in Chicago, Illinois. The US Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has started raiding homes and families in California. Here’s some information.
If it comes to it, you need to be able to drop and run.)
Snacks
Eyedrops (teargas is a bitch)
Goggles (I bring my old snowboarding goggles)
If you are wearing a t-shirt or have exposed skin, put on fake tattoos. If you are brought into something and they say you were there, showing a picture of you with the tattoos, show them where that tattoo would be and how there’s nothing there. How would you get rid of a giant flower on your forearm in 2 days anyways?
Hide your hair. I tuck my hair into my beanie since it’s short. If you have longer hair, try to do the same or tuck it into your shirt.
Power bank
Chargers
Helmet. Any is fine, my personal choice is a skating helmet since they’re rounder and can take more damage
Hand sanitizer
Gloves (either to keep your hands warm or simple nitrile exam gloves, both work)
Bandanas. Somebody might need one for their face or hair, maybe you need to get dirt off somebody’s face, maybe somebody got injured. They’re great for anything and everything
Cash (try to stick to cash, your card can be tracked)
Medications if you take them. If you get arrested or happen to somehow be away for longer than expected after the protest, it’s always good to have emergency meds
FIRST AID ALL THE FIRST AID (Tourniquet, Quikclot, chest seal, trauma shears, gauze, bandages, duct tape, and all the usual stuff you’d have in there)
Good shoes
Spare socks. Trust me.
As much covering clothing as you can handle. Plain jeans, plain hoodie, plain t-shirt, keep yourself as anonymous as possible
Photocopy of your ID
Sunscreen
Make sure your clothes have pockets
Do not wear contact lenses. If tear gas is used, that will make everything so much worse. Wear your glasses or go blind.
Same idea. Walker? Same thing. Cover. It. All.
If you are bringing a bag, make sure that bag is as plain as possible. No pins. No patches. No keychains.
Scarf if you have one
Write a reliable phone number (of someone who is not at the protest with you) on your body. On the off chance you get arrested, that is your emergency contact.
Pocket knife.
Pepper spray/mace
Anything you can throw. Soup for my family.
IF YOU CAN, LEAVE YOUR PHONE AT HOME
IF YOU HAVE TO TAKE IT WITH YOU FOR WHATEVER REASON, TURN OFF LOCATION SERVICES ON ALL APPS AND TURN OFF BIOMETRICS (FACE ID AND FINGERPRINT) SO YOU CAN ONLY UNLOCK YOUR PHONE WITH YOUR PASSWORD
MAKE SURE SOMEBODY KNOWS GENERALLY WHERE YOU ARE
I do not want to scare anybody, but this is what life is right now. That man does not care how long you have been a citizen of this country. If you are not white, cisgender, heterosexual, Christian, and male, you are seen as less than by men in power. You are not less than. You are a threat to them, and they are scared. Keep it that way.
Here's the link to my post on what to bring in terms of first aid.
If you cannot attend protests, that’s fine. Do what’s best for you. Simply reposting information helps.

Colombian president Gustavo Petro says he will not accept US deportation flights

These countries know we are returning criminals to them, that's why they won't accept them. Plus, they are in handcuffs because they invaded our country and are criminals here!

Deal
Don't mind me, thinking about "voluntarily" acquisitions.
Content: BBU setting, blackmail, threat of deportation, abuse of office, implied dubcon.
The man sitting across from her in the tiny interrogation room frowns at her, a look filled with grave seriosity. It's ridiculous. The only reason that Morva doesn't break into laughter is that she's a better actor than him. She is, in fact, fantastic.
It's not her skill who has brought them here; it's fucking Eddie's failure. It's not the first time she needs to get out of somebody else's mess. Morva will manage. She always does.
And step one is, do not laugh in the face of a small officer in a too large suit, who pretends to give a shit.
"I've looked into your files, Ms Gholamali. It doesn't look good."
She raises an eyebrow, a hint of amusement that she doesn't feel. He's not supposed to know that name. "I am sorry," she says. "There must be a mix up. My name is Mary Ann Ellis. I'm American."
"No, you're not." There's a smugness in his smile, and this time, he's dropped the act.
Well. Fuck.
"Morvarid Gholamali. It was your birthday yesterday. 20 years old. Quite the impressive criminal record, given how short you've been in the US. Illegally."
She doesn't flinch. Just tiredly rolls her eyes and lifts her cuffed hands. "Sir," she says with a bored voice. "That's ridiculous. I'm from Maine. I don't even know how to pronounce that name you just said. Where is it even from?"
"Iran." The man gives a thin lipped smile. "You'll hear the proper pronounciation of that name soon enough. Regardless of what you say, paperwork is being processed right now. You'll be deported."
"I don't-"
"Ms Gholamali", he interrupts her.
"Ms Ellis," she corrects automatically. His Persian proununciation is a nightmare. Still, she'll prefer hearing it from him than from an Iranian border officer. Fuck. This is taking a turn she does not appreciate.
The man goes on, unimpressed. "You're a criminal. A plain boring little thief. I bet you call yourself con artist, somewhere in your head, because you fucked your victims before robbing them, but you're not special in any way. You're a criminal, you're an illegal immigrant, and we don't want you here."
Behind her fake, confused smile, Morva grits her teeth. That asshole didn't talk about the fucking part by chance, she's sure of it. Her toolbox is a lot larger than that. If he mentions sex, he wants to get somewhere with it.
Fine. She's fucked men for way less than her own fucking chance at freedom.
"I'm American," she insists, still. "You can't deport me."
"You know.... An American would have other options," he says slowly. Almost thoughtful. Almost like he didn't plan this thing from the fucking start. "Do you know WRU?"
This does catch her off guard. "WRU? The... The pet distributors?"
"They have a program for people facing jail time to sign up, as part of their sentence." The man smiles. She hates that for a second, she doesn't even want to punch him. She wants to hear him out. He nods. "They could stay here, be reeducated, do a service to society again, in a way. Get assigned an owner, live with them, be-"
"Be a pet."
"Be in America."
She swallows, as he holds her gaze and goes on talking.
"So... Hypothetically. If I were to believe you, disregard all the talk about Ms Gholamali - would the American national Ms Mary Ann Ellis take this option?"
Her mind is racing. It can't be that bad now, can it?
She's been acting all her life, she's degraded herself so often to play a role, seduced men to get into their homes and wallets. She could become a pet, sure. She'd find a way to get out of it on the other side. She could, here. She couldn't, back home.
"Ms Ellis would certainly consider it," Morva says softly, looking down at her handcuffs and back at him through her lashes. "If only you were to believe her identity."
He smirks and raises an eyebrow, gaze wandering down her body slowly. "Interesting."
It's almost a relief. This is something she understands. A game she's played hundreds of times. Never as desperate. But always successful.
She can do this.
"Is... Is there something I could do to convince you?" She bites her lip. "Sir?"
"You know what?" He chuckles and leans in, loosens his tie with his free hand. "I think there is."

“On Tuesday afternoon, the official White House X account posted a video showing men in Seattle shackled by the wrists and ankles about to be boarded onto a plane for deportation.
The 40-second clip’s soundtrack is sparse, with no dialog or music — just the sounds of the plane engine and the jangle of handcuffs and chains first laid out by an officer from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, then attached to the immigrants, whose faces are not filmed.
The White House gave the video a macabre caption: “ASMR: Illegal Alien Deportation Flight.””
