I wanna know where people have lately gotten the audacity to leave comments on fanfics talking about how much the fanfic sucked and negatively critiquing an author's fic like it's a published book review.

It pisses me off cause I've seen authors abandoned or delete their fics because of this.

You're getting fanfics for FREE! No one asked for your opinion.

I hope y'all know as authors we get email notifications when you comment so we see EVERY comment that's been left.

We also can see the negative reviews you leave when you bookmark our fics

Thinking about Tim being the second batkid to get married, after Dick. Thinking about how Bruce's hair is really starting to grey now, and how he goes out at night less and less frequently. Tim's wedding is a less public one, so most of the Justice League is there, and as the night goes on Bruce and Hal keep drifting towards each other. And Bruce sees his kids, older now, confident and healing and laughing with each other all night. They'll always need him, and he'll always need them, but even Damian has started handling things on his own. So for the first time, Bruce lets himself look at Hal. Really look. And he finds that Hal looks back. Maybe he's always looked at Bruce like that, and Bruce has definitely always stolen looks and wondered: what if? So they talk all night, disguise it as carefully contained bickering. They hover, exchange glances. Bruce leaves with Hal's hand resting in his back pocket and has a brief pang of regret that he didn't let himself have this sooner. Didn't let himself notice the heat in Hal's gaze, or the curve of his jaw. But Hal goes home with him that night, and he never seems to leave.

Been reading 2/7 pages of works list of @r-a-b-talks 's Hal/Bruce. I'm so invested and delighted towards this whole journey of fics.

I've been saying that I was definitely screaming giggling crackling in 5 local languages I know because of the sweetness, fluffiness, smoothness, heartwarming feels.

I was just found out about Rebecca's Hal/Bruce fics when it was around 1:30am my local timezone. Stopping for sleep at 4:50am and waking up at 8:15am, starting to read the nexts, stopped at 11:15 to get my brunch while then posting this.

It really is worth the time. My heart could feel all the butterflies existed on earth.

Hal and Bruce don’t usually cuddle through the night (they both run too hot, solid masses of muscle that they are), but Gotham is so cold that Hal spends the night octopused around Bruce. Which is absolutely not a problem for Bruce, but they were both so tired the night before that they forgot it was Christmas Eve, and Dick is very surprised when he comes to wake Bruce up for Christmas

“What are you playing at, Lantern?” Batman’s lips are pulled into a frown, and his tone is searching, prodding– like he’s trying to see if Hal is joking or genuinely knows.

Hal raises his hands in mock surrender to show he means no harm. “Look, the code of capes, masks, and cowls: I won’t tell anyone your civilian identity.” He smiles. “I’m just letting you know that I know so that you know I’m the smartest in the League.”

“What are you talking about?” Batman applies the same tactic as earlier.

“Well, you’re the smartest, I digress– so maybe I’m the second smartest, but finding out your identity? C’mon Brucie, give me some credit, it’s pretty impressive.”

“Don’t call me that.”

AKA the fic that explores what happens when Hal Jordan is the first to learn that Bruce Wayne is Batman. :)

With HalBruce I kind of like it and then I don’t. I think I it’s because a lot of fics have Hal being made an idiot by the Bats. Which he isn’t. He’s really smart. Just in different ways but people seem to forget that. Including in fics where Hal and Bruce are together. I guess it’s a hot or miss for me.

Now OliverBruce just makes me grin. I also laugh so much because thinking of them being their playboy/civilian selves and having to go to a Gala or something together….i can just see the chaos.

I haven’t read any HalBruce yet so I can’t give an educated opinion in that regard. The only thing I know is that he tends to semi-accidentally piss people off sometimes hehe

And omg OliverBruce would be so funny because they’re both known as playboys, right? They could totally make out during a gala and nobody would bat an eye because it’s just “how they are” 😭🤣
