The little orange hat 🥹🥰

Grey hairstreak (Strymon melinus) on native turkey mullein (Croton setiger), Northern California, US These adorably small butterflies wiggle their back wings while at rest. It is thought that this movement combined with the markings and "antennae" on their back wings are meant to mimic an insect's head. This coaxes jumping spiders, a major predator of smaller pollinators, to attack the wrong side of the butterfly, allowing it to flee.

Shy butterfly that likes to perch on vegetation and sunbathing ☀️ 😎 

Calm and collected 🧘‍♀️

Kinda thick body type 🩶↔️

Lives in Canada to northern South America ❄️ 

The butterfly is called a half moon hairstreak and one of its favorite flowers looks like the sun! (Flower name: Arnica) I think that’s cool☀️🌒

if I were good at art I would make a human oc of all of the butterflies 😔

also if I were to add a character I would say Banyue from heavens official blessing.

Found this v e r y little guy while cleaning outside and was wondering if you could identify him

From Northeast Texas

It's a butterfly caterpillar, and I think one of the hairstreaks. I'd put my money on the soapberry hairstreak, Phaeostrymon alcestis. But mayyyybe a banded hairstreak? Their markings are variable.
