I just remembered another piece of my life that was trans foreshadowing. When I was in 3rd grade the class had a challenge that whoever wrote the best theatre play could actually put on a theatre production for the rest of the 3rd grade. My class voted my play as the best, and I personally saw to it that I cast myself as a boy character. I put my hair up in a baseball cap, and wore the only pair of jeans and the only not-girly shirt I owned and led my group of 3rd grade nerd friends in the worst parody of Jack and the Beanstalk you’ve ever heard in your life.

#I took that shit seriously too #made a beanstalk prop and painted a backdrop #Walt talks #and I was so fucking mad when a kid in the audience pointed out that a ‘girl’ was playing a boy character #I was like please fucking just. someone gender me correctly #I must’ve been oblivious because I hopped on that stage in front of like 200 other 3rd graders and several teachers and parents #destroyed every single child in that rooms concept of gender norms #cracked some of the worst jokes known to man kind #and then bowed at the end like I was William Shakespeare and left #what’s really funny about this whole thing is that my parents watched this go down and were like #yeah it’s normal for little girls to meticulously write boy characters and insist on playing #them #hair up in a cap and all #in front of the entire school

Do you think Danny’s hair turns white when it falls out? It’s technically dead cells anyway but when it naturally falls off his head, do you think it turns white? Because I think it would be hilarious if his hairbrush just has white hair, no black strands whatsoever, and his significant other thought the worst until they know his secret.

Jeez how do you not know this #or what if Jason’s hair turns white too and that’s when it clicks for Jazz that he is not completely human #if Jazz is liminal her hair could be blue and boy would that be fun to explain #HER HAIR IS BLUE AND SHE HAS FEELINGS ABOUT IT OKAY #all caps on purpose #because I for sure would be freaking out if my hair was the wrong color in the hairbrush #I would purposely pluck a strand and watch it change then freak out #anger management ship #hardcover ship #everlasting trio

That's very subjective!

For me personally, I'm totally fine with how it's played out. We get enough tidbits every season/developments with their dynamic that I'm pretty content. I also just think that when the time comes, how they choose to reveal that information to us (and especially to MK) will have optimal impact!

#but maybe it's not pacing that works for you and that's fine #the experience of pacing is subjective by nature #alright *puts on conspiracy cap*#to me it seems like they're wanting to throw another wrench into MK and Wukong's relationship next season #s4 was so heavily focused on Wukong's flawed past and there was a lot of buildup about his and mac's relationship in the s4 special #and then s5 had a lot of weird hints/info #specially with the stone/nine or whatever #and that weird wukong nuwa framing in 5x08 #And 5x01 kinda lampshading Wukong knowing about MK + his reincarnated friends #Like feels weird don't it #(WHICH. He could totally have not known about MK. But I still wanna learn more about why he wanted a student in the first place)#There are so many directions next season could go #But the direction I hope for most is really continuing 5x04 stuff #Like idk I personally feel like we didn't fully unpack Monkey MK. In certain aspects anyhow #And it's like omg 2 seasons later and we finally resolved the to pain scene!!!#But we haven't really resolved like. ''Hurting the people who care about you the most'' aspect of it. The 3x10 and 4x08 parallel #So like the hurting each other angle. #kirby gijinka #marx kirby #I love feeling more comfortable designing characters with long hair now #before I think a lot of my characters had short hair for my own wish fulfillment and projection of my gender ideals #now that I’ve had short hair for so long I’m a lot more comfortable with playing around with hair length in character designs #I really enjoy putting up hair in a tight updo as a show of like. character restriction or self control #with marx in particular I think pre-nova it’s a pretty clean updo with few stray strands of hair #then immediately after receiving nova’s power he gets to let loose for the first time and all the hair fans out a lot more #and for star allies he has a much healthier balance between the two with more flyaway strands #but then the more power of nova he uses the more his hair is disheveled and falls out of the jester cap #anyways idk #the state of hair is such a fascinating thing in characters because it’s one of the easiest things to change about a character I think #while still being recognizable as the character that is #a lot of the design for my pink oc had a similar idea where they have their hair pinned tightly and then hair falls loose as they let loose

Most of the time the students know this is absolute bs just by what is coming out of his mouth. There are no cherry blossom trees on campus and we never met under any, we didn't have our first date on the moon, neither officiant for our weddings (one for Gojou Clan ceremonial purposes, one for actual friends) looked like Keanu. And no, there were no proposals done on Mt Everest
