I think chilchuck is some kind of likeeee wren? Chickadee maybe? Maybe even a cardinal? Some kind of small songbird, i just wanted him to have some kind of warm-colored wing with white speckles (my lazy ass did NOT use a reference for these shitty little doodles but if I ever end up making solid refs for them I’ll do more research), I thought about maybe hummingbird wings butttt idk I couldnt get the shape right and I wanted him to have more of a traditional harpy look. I combined elements from my harpies (wings and arms, jewelry/piercings, feathered tails) and canon harpies (FEATHER TIT WINDOW‼️ kind of feral, sharp teeth, etc) and kind of mashed them up. Anyway, smth ive noticed is how... little time vivzie actually spends on writing or characterizing or fleshing out her characters.

Which has to be the weirdest thing so far bc every writer and artist ive met agree that its the best part of making an oc! Its so fun to think of backstories and tie that into their current personality and generally just figuring out random details to get to know your characters!

Like, my ocs are my best friends, i know everything abt them from their trauma and childhoods, to their favourite food and music.

But time and time again she proves that her characters are at best acquaintances... the fandom fleshes out the characters so well and with so much love and care and thought that vivzie herself cant do and its just sad.

Not even mentioning the hundreds of retcons and how characters will just change personality randomly or act out of character which results in the work feeling like a fanfic of itself. (Ironic considering some fanfics have better and more consistent characterisation)

It feels like shes making it up as she goes, instead of having an actual plan. Just shoving random ideas she likes or picks up from the much more creative fandom into the 2 shows without actually stopping and thinking abt the consequences or implications.

Theres so many decisions shes made that irk me so bad... the ideas individually have potential but they either dont fit the show or have to make huge retcons and result in the plot not making any sense.

Also, ngl but she has the worst case of tell dont show ive ever seen my god 😭😭 like... you realise you have to show things instead of just fucking singing it or having a character say it??? Or is that another thing that the fandom has to do so they can convince themselves that the show has good characters??

Atp idk how to salvage the show... i keep finding more and more plotholes and unless i literally turn my brain off and only focus on haha funny dick joke or pwetty colors, these questions keep popping into my head making it a painful unenjoyable experience.

Again, if the fandom has to justify your bad nonsensical hypocritical worldbuilding then you failed. Massively.

Barty doesn’t really have much of a reaction to realizing he’s in love with Evan tbh. His thing with Evan hasn’t been normal ever, he’s always yearned to be merged within him, wanting to make out with him is just a facet of that (if not a natural progression in his eyes). I think it would prob take Evan a little longer to realize it? He figures out Barty has a gay little crush on him and he’s practically clicking his heels in excitement bc hes an insufferable egomaniac. He very, very much treats it like a joke they’re both in on until he has to confront he’s way too into it. Barty knows this already and he also knows Evan’s attracted to men bc…duh.

The reversed Cody art and the April Fools event with Venusaur in Pokémon Monochrome have me thinking about what a hypothetical Eevee ghost would potentially be like (A huge surprise, coming from the user "bronzeeevee" LMAO)

If Venusaur is apathy, I was thinking maybe Eevee could be pure emotion, or something along the lines of that?

Lean into Eevee's evolution gimmick to have it be like Pikachu (Jolteon), Blastoise (Vaporeon), and Charizard (Flareon) all in one, switching between evolution forms seemingly on a dime?

i can imagine that unlike with the other ghosts, who know exactly what they want, eevee ghost has no idea what it wants to be, or what it wants from the situation, and is erratic and tormented because of it, haha. (a parallel to cody not knowing what to do with themself, and the audience themselves being indecisive abt what to do with cody)

flipping between emotions nearly instantly with no sense to it. goes from flareon angrily calling cody a dumpster fire before jolteon saying "haha i was just joking" and vaporeon like "i'm sorry please don't be mad at me". it probably would also try to argue with itself, making a point in an argument only to be like "AUGH! NO! YOU CAN'T SAY THAT!" it would be like if all of cody's players were wrapped up into the same pokemon, all at once. i love the ideas this concept is giving me, haha!

I liked how it portrayed how John and Vincent would actually be in a relationship with Vincent’s anger and all towards the High Table. I think they would make a great enemies to lovers🤍

4. Gianna D’Antonio x Cassian - I love what they had and the implications of their relationship transcending beyond just the relationship of a boss and her bodyguard. The subtle intimacy between them during Gianna’s party was enough to make me see them as a couple, and only cemented when I saw Cassian’s reaction to Gianna’s dead body and his level of devotion to the point he actively hunts down John Wick long after Gianna is dead.

3. Mia x Akira Shimazu - I just saw this around while scrolling through tumblr and I really loved the idea. I don’t have much to say other than I enjoy it!☺️

2. Caine x John - I always loved Donnie Yen as an actor and seeing him in the fourth installment of my favorite movie series since it came out back in 2014 just made me love Caine immediately. He’s John Wick’s mirror, the only one who can reflect the sheer amount of power and strength that John possesses. Both John and Caine are both fighting for love, for John it’s Helen and for Caine, it’s his daughter Mia. uni2 spoilers

now that the uni2 honeymoon period is setting in some... ive been thinking about specifically merkava's good ending a whole lot for the past 2 days out of everyone... (excluding enkidu because. yknoww teehee. hehe. haha.) ive been thinking about how genuinely adorable his reaction to being a human is. seeing merkava suffer for well over a decade across games and getting to be genuinely vindicated for trying to keep that human part of him still there. i think no part shows that at its best but at the beginning of the end of his kuon fight (sorry thats a mouthful) where when hes eating him up, in the bad ending human merk's narration is taken over by the merk we know, completely frenzied, but in the good ending human merk's narration continues...until he realizes this isn't him internally monologuing anymore he's just a guy now! i also just think him having two endings makes his arcade route the most impactful out of everyone especially since merkava is already like one of the coolest and most interesting fg characters like...ever. it really highlights the stakes of his wellbeing and how an overwhelming night like that effects it. i feel like underwhelming endings like byakuya's or the re-birth'd endings of hilda and carmine could've benefitted from a bad/good ending path structure too... take mega advantage of how arcade modes in fgs function for your final game dammit!!!!

i like seeing him thrilled at all the small things he can feel now as a human. when he fully processes the fact that he is a Real guy now the first thing he just thinks is what he wants to do...and how just living a normal ass life, even the struggle parts, is all he wanted (even if brought up upon a gag scene) its good to see merkava...happy after so long as someone thats followed this game since like, uniel? while questions remain unanswered abt him (like his ties with orie) his salvation is the most rewarding out of everyone because of the nature of his character. its cute to imagine him just doing normal things while his speech is still oddly formal and probably still a behemoth height wise and also his hair just being like that. moe if you will. with that said wheres my fucking 12 episode slice of life human merkava anime i want to see that grown ass man live a satisfying life. please for the love of god i just want to see it. this is why we need that chronicle mode patch. i wanna see other characters react to him suddenly being a hot man. why did they have to lowkey rush uni2 out the door

the merk = hollow god theory going around is also pretty interesting because while i can see that conclusion for obvious reasons (HE LITERALLY SAYS THE TITLE BY NAME LOL,) i also feel like he would've had a power trip moment like hilda and carmine did when they converted if he really REALLY did inherit stuff from the hollow god? but merkava is just...normal. he's just overwhelmed with the joy of getting to indulge himself. so either thats a testament to how humble the hollow god was or like merk's deep humanity just overrid any of that nonsense. i prefer just human merkava being human merkava because that implies he truly is just a regular weird good guy and possibly was just that in his past too.

i wish i had been thinking abt merk's ending this deep when i made that initial answer to @/starocide's ask because the implications of both his endings for him as a character AND LIKE GENERAL UNI WORLDBUILDING are insanely fucking valuable when you think about it. its up there with chaos's arcade route with how much it forwards it. is there hope for all voids in general with what the good ending implies? im so curious now....

Sorry theory

So, you all know the Sorry channel with Ranboo, Wilbur, Phil, Charlie and Tommy right? Well, I have a theory abt it. We’ve only seen season one, the trailer for season two and the first video for season two so I could be very wrong rn.

All the videos follow the common theme of criminal activity or law in general, except for the painting video which I’ll talk about later.

From robbing a bank, from going to court, from starting a cult, to just being lethal they present it in a funny haha way so that we don’t make theories on it. Welp, what I think we are seeing is a funny interpretation of criminal activity and how saying “sorry” can’t fix everything or a retelling of a group of criminals. Even Phil said that everything is connected.

before we get into it, I just wanna say that in both theories everyone plays multiple characters across the timeline. So, if there’s a character I don’t address like Ranboo playing the cult leader it’s a separate character.

In the first “episode” where they go to court, they are there because Tommy apparently ate Phil’s sausage roll, and this might just be a metaphor for cannibalism. It’s stretch but it’s there. There’s also the fact that at the end it gives a conclusion for what happened to everyone, which in our “time line” this would be the end of it with the jail video being the epilogue of some sort.

The second “episode” where they go to prison is like previously said, the epilogue for what happened to everyone. Not much to really say about it.

In the third “episode” where they rob a bank, this is the crime that they commit. The group of criminals get together after painting to rob a bank, starting their slow decent into this criminal life for all of them. (Note: Gretchen and Wilma didn’t join the heist, or Wilma is a trans guy and later became Wilbur.)

In the fourth “episode” right before they actually rob a bank, Charlie is still a cop but soon quits it to join the bank heist. (we see implications at the end) in this one we see some back story and how they found Tommy and Wilbur and added him to the “gang” (unless Wilma is a trans guy and later became Wilbur.) Phil is the one to get Tommy and allegedly Wilbur to join the cult, after the situation Charlie quits his job and joins the gang full time.

In the fifth “episode” where they become painters I think this is where they kinda decide to become criminals, Gretchen and Wilma don’t join the heist, unless Wilma is a trans guy and became Wilbur later.

in the “sixth” episode where they see who is the most lethal is right after they all rob a bank together, they now are wanted and have a urge to get high on adrenaline again so they take it to the extreme and kill/torture people, Charlie takes it to the next level.

in the first “episode” of the second season, they bury Tommy alive. In the canon theory, Tommy isn’t being Tommy. This is just another one of their victims.

of course, this theory could be extremely wrong and I’m wrong as fuck, but it’s still something to think abt :)
