Since the late 1800s, foreign forces have collaborated with Congolese leaders to exploit the heart of Africa, worsening existing socio-economic disparities and fueling violence. More than 7 million people are internally displaced in the DRC while conflict rages in the country’s eastern provinces.

Hey, everyone. I know it’s been awhile, but I have an update for you all. I can’t remember if I’ve mentioned it before, but I have a chronic illness that’s been a bit problematic. Dealing with it and trying to get through grad school leaves me with less energy than I’d like. But! I really enjoy working on The Marked and though it takes me a long time between updates, I want to see it though. Thank you all for your patience, I know it’s been a slow moving process haha.
