Guys… Don’t blame me, blame the TikTokers who put the “Moo” “Shut up.” “Meow” panel in their “Batfam being goofy” slide shows.
Sometimes I think about how Damian’s pets would respond to his absence after his death. And how heartbreaking it is for Bruce.
Like, when he gets home from patrol, Titus is waiting patiently by the door to his office. The dog stands and greet Bruce, sniffing his hand before expectingly looking to the clock for another to come out. He’ll stay there, watching the clock vigilantly for the whole night. The only thing that gets him to move is the sound of his breakfast. He’ll race down to the kitchen and look around, searching for his boy.
Bruce can relate. When he goes down to the cave, he expects to hear Damian clicking his tongue, huffing that he was late. Again.
Bruce buys a dog bed to put in his office for Titus. He looks so lonely and cold on the hard wood.
Alfred (the cat) is less upfront about her grief. She spends her days snuggled in Damian’s unmade bed (untouched. Just how he left it). She’s quiet for most of the day. She looks offended when Bruce disturbs her peace with his presence. God forbid he grief his son. At night, she wakes Bruce up with her horrible yowling. They somehow sound painful. After 20 whole minutes, he goes to check on her. “What do you want?” He asks, his patience thin. “He’s gone, alright!” Bruce spits out, Alfred looks at him blankly. “He’s gone.”
Bruce slumps back to bed, only to hear Alfred’s howls pick up again.
One night, after a particularly restless patrol, Bruce picks her up and plonks her on his bed and gets himself under the covers. He doesn’t expect Alfred to stay, much less snuggle up next to him while purring.
“I know.” He whispers to her. “I miss him too.”
Batcow doesn’t leave her barn very often. Bruce takes over the usual chores in Damian’s stead. No matter how much it hurts. Batcow used to stand up to greet him, but she doesn’t move very much anymore. Bruce tries to cheer her up, but only realizes that he has no idea how to pet a cow. He tries sitting with her.
He remembers how one morning, the first snowfall since Batcow arrived, Bruce was convinced that Damian was kidnapped. Damian was acting as his usual self the night before, they didn’t fight (and Damian was not one to passively aggressively insist that he’s fine) he was about to report a missing child when Alfred suggested he look for him in the barn.
Sure enough, there he was. He was leaned up against Batcow, her head twisted into his lap. He chuckled at the sight of a blanket barely being able to cover Batcow’s rear, but Damian still laid it there anyway. Bruce laid his coat over Damian, who shivered every so often, careful not to disturb Batcow.
His jacket smelt like a barn yard. It took a couple of washes to get it out.
Slowly, Batcow lifted her head, looked at Bruce, and settled into his lap.
He understood why Damian liked cuddling with her so much, the weight was comforting.
When Damian returns, he cannot find a moments peace from his animals. Titus is constantly following him around. For a while, Damian could only throw a stick so far for catch. If Titus deemed it too far away, he would only look at Damian. Acting as if Damian would disappear if he wasn’t in his line of sight for a certain amount of time.
Alfred (the cat) is worse. She’ll invite herself into Damian’s lap wherever she could. Rubbing against him and purring. She demanded that Damian carry her around, twisting in Damian’s hold whenever he tried to put her down.
Batcow comes barreling out of the barn when Damian calls for her, barely slowing down in time to not trample him. She’s slobbering all over him and licking his face. Damian has to take a shower right after.
Like I said, don’t blame me, blame TikTok.

Resurrection of Magneto Highlights 1
RoM is a book that loses something in the highlight format as the big moments are truly earned and impactful. There's an ongoing narration, dialogue or soliloquy running through each issue tying everything together and to truly give context I'd have to annotate it. Lucky for us, Al Ewing and Luciano Vecchio are masters and every panel serves as a coda for Storm or Magneto from SWORD and X-Men Red. This is easily my longest Highlights yet, there's just so much to say.

I wish I dreamt about Magneto
Ororo has a dream of a full page splash - Magneto, Max, saying 'I was wrong' surrounded by five of his iconic helmets. 3 red ones, bloody and facing towards the world. 1 black, 1 white upright behind his back. It's been quite a while since Uranos the Undying tore his heart out on Judgement Day but it's good to see Ororo has some measure of peace and love on Arakko with Craig of NASA.

She's the deuteragonist of RoM so she chooses to follow her dream and seek Max in the afterlife. Ororo shows up at Adam Brashear/The Blue Marvel's underwater base and asks for help with exactly that. He lampshades how bozos like Reed would deem it impossible and leads her to a portal. He's in the middle of explaining how dangerous it is and requires... we don't hear because Storm takes a running leap and YOLOs into it. Tarn the Uncaring and a who's who of Marvel cosmology are there to greet her. Tarn is insulted that Ororo has come for the guy who exploded his head, but as above, so below - he loves to talk and she outwits him.

Ashake is often obliquely referred to but very rarely directly, so it's lovely to see her magical ancestor here to help. As Ororo pets her black cat, Ashake confirms this is a place of magic. Symbols and metaphors are powerful here - something Mags could use help with in his current state. It's also connected to the Kabbalistic tree of life, but I'm not very knowledgeable about that.
Two redrawn and recoloured keystone moments of Max and Ororo's relationship down the bottom.

She resolved to see this through and her thought carries her towards the Sphere of Judgement. Unexpectedly a bunch of Dominions bar her path, though luckily the two mutants are too small to truly be of interest to them. Still, a single mortal arriving in Overspace is significant and they prompt her to ask questions. The face of Dominions are shown but it's still fairy tale rules. The most important thing she learns is about Enigma, though she doesn't know it at the time.

The Sphere of Judgement is hostile, everything is inverted. Lightning is red, the river is lava, clouds are black, everything is broken. She notices this spot from her dream and the charred frames of Max's five helmets still sit in blood. Magneto has been here for months by choice, bypassing the Waiting Room Wanda built but refusing to move on. He believes he deserves this.

Finally she reaches Magneto weeping blood in front of a wall of names. Everyone he ever killed and he's counting every one, remembering their name. He's judging himself, punishing, and doesn't think he deserves to leave.

He shares his greatest shames, his most recent cruelties. Worst, the ones he convinced himself was necessary. He's overwhelmed by the red in his ledger and in this place of judgement lashes out, flinging names off the wall at Ororo while naming the person. What snaps him out of it is the mention that something happened to Charles, heh.

'The no-place of his heart' 👌
Max turns the judgement on Ororo but she rejects it, calling him out for extending Charles the grace he won't extend to himself plus a little hypocrisy. Magneto has always been prone to drama and that tendency can hurt as much as it heals.

That really gets him going, but he's judging himself more constructively now. Love, friendship, accountability. The things that are keeping some part of tethered to the living world. He pulls one more name down to say the name aloud before he sends it at Ororo - it's his - Max Eisenhardt. Still, he cries 'it's out of our hands.' He truly wants to give up but I think a part of him knows his story isn't done.

Ororo disagrees. Displaying why she's the only person who could assist in the resurrection of Magneto, she covers his eyes and remembers the rules of this place. The wall of the dead becomes its opposite - the wall of the living. Not those he killed but those he saved. It's enough to pull him out of punishing himself. Neither group should be forgotten but he can choose to save life rather than take it - to change.
Torturing yourself in a personal hell might appease some of those dead, but accepting responsibility to the living should be what comes after judgement. Suffering helps no one, and as he says to Logan as he's about to kill Charles much later - 'no more martyrs.' Part of why I enjoyed Magneto identifying Logan Behavior is because he himself is the king of it. Charles too. All three are prone to martyrdom but dying is easy. It's living that's difficult and worthwhile. Secluding yourself from the world, whether it's in the Sphere of Judgement, a mega prison, or with a pack of wolves - is senseless and selfish. Living is better.
Next time - what does that actually mean for both of them and how do they get out of this place? It's not as simple as turning a key. Choosing to live is hard work. Metatextually, change and rebirth requires a tour of all that he is, all that he's done. What's the point of killing a character and then bringing them back the same as they were? Comic books do it all the time, but Magneto's long history is a study of opposites and extremes. He, the writer and the reader all need to deconstruct Magneto so he can be reconstructed as a better person. With the benefit of hindsight we know he succeeds, but what does that actually look like for him? 60 years of his oversized influence on the world is a lot and it only gets better from here.

Perceptions and thoughts about ch. 26 (a little late...)

Well, it's February 15th and that means chapter 27 has already been published! And while there are already spoilers out, I've been trying to avoid them since I don't want to know what happened (yet), I'm still finishing organizing my thoughts on ch 26 because it's always good to give it a deeper reading, right?
First, they are such a married couple! in the everyday they find their harmonious life as newlyweds, and that is seen in how the first thing Hirano thinks is that they are starting their last year of living together. Why would he worry about that if he didn't care about it beyond a good friendship?

“Irreplaceable days, with my sleepy kouhai besides me”
Sensei loves to draw Hirano's waist, every time she can she subtly emphasizes it, as in the cover of this chapter, where she not only lets us see the difference in size and build between them, but also Hirano's slender waist.
And in this chapter she really let herself go for the pleasure of drawing handsome guys, we finally get to see Kagi's good physical condition! We've all been able to see him except Hirano... and god knows he's eager to see those abs (in a totally platonic way of course).

While this seems to be a somewhat slow chapter or superfluously focused on the everyday, there are a couple of things that stand out for me and give enormous value to this chapter, and is that here we are given good clues to understand that Hirano's feelings have been changing, that even imagining suspending those morning studies makes him miss those moments together and make him call Kagi in an almost unconscious way.

Or when Kagi mentions that his favorite time of the day is studying with him in the mornings, the first thing that happens is that Hirano looks at him with a mixture of shock and wonder, then touches his heart (yes, I like to think that) because until a couple of minutes ago he was longing for those moments he thought he would lose.

Afterwards, he fails to concentrate and keeps glancing at Kagi who is so focused on his homework that he doesn't notice Hirano looking at him with those attentive and curious eyes, accompanied by that thought about how much it amazes him how Kagi gives his best in everything he does, feeling all that admiration for his roommate; and the last panel, where the word suki/like stands out (as mentioned in this community post that points very well what this last panel implies) and the beating of Hirano's heart, thinking about what's going on with him at that moment…

And let's remember, Hirano stated that his ideal partner is the one who gives his all, who is honest and open (and that basically is Kagi-kun), so let's hope that he can make those little advances to, with a little luck, have a kiss at the end of this year.

The end of chapter 26 gives me hope because now he sees Kagi and not only thinks about how he likes the distance they have, or that he feels calm being with him, but he thinks about how much he likes studying with him, and how much he admires him for his effort and dedication. And maybe tomorrow he can understand that he likes to have dinner with him, and practice basketball with him, and spend time with him in general. And as he comes to understand what a lovers' relationship means to him, he can slowly put together that puzzle where his own conception of romance converges with what he enjoys being with Kagi. And that all those ideas such as I like to study with him, I like to spend time with him, I like to take care of him, become simply I like him.
About the next chapters... I think Hirano will continue to be so calm next to Kagi, seeing him more and more attractive, decisive and admiring him through those huge blue cat eyes, but I still don't think he is in a position to fit all the pieces together. Also I think something else needs to happen for him to realize that he is indeed reciprocating Kagi's feelings, as the touching doesn't work, the closeness doesn't work (he recognizes it as brotherly love or deep friendship), so I think it takes another, a different twist for him to notice. I've considered the jealousy theme, but I don't think Hirano is an inherently jealous person, so it seems to me that it must be something that directly “threatens” Kagi for him to react. maybe a minor accident on the court? (he is an athlete, there are usually falls and bumps in practices and games) and we already saw that just because he knew he was in the infirmary he ran to see him regardless of rules or classes,

So it seems to me that if something like that happened, he would not hesitate to go to see him and maybe that way he could go fit his feelings and finally react (I am a believer that Hirano will be the one who kisses him first, probably in a burst of impulsivity). That, or one day he'll see Kagi shirtless and his heterosexuality and decency will fly out the window (there's a reason sensei still won't let him see his roommate's six pack).
And one last comment: I'm really worried about Hanzawa and how he will react when he confirms his suspicions because he definitely knows that Kagi likes Hirano, but he still doesn't see a real “danger” since Hirano seems to be so far from understanding what a crush is, but he definitely can feel how fond and close his friend is to Kagiura, and that it's just a matter of time before he falls... what will Hanzawa do when he confirms his suspicions?

#I have another theory about how he could discover his feelings#but the post is already very long#so for next time it will be#Long post again#but I love them!#I've successfully avoided spoilers but I don't think I will for long#Hanzawa I'm watching you#I still can't wrap my head around the fact that we have monthly KGHR#hiranoloveskagiura#hiranoamaakagiura#hirano to kagiura#hirano and kagiura#hirano y kagiura#hirano taiga#kagiura akira#hirakagi#kagihira#kghr#hrkg

HELLO!!!!!!!!!!!! IT IS TIME GAMERSSSS
omg daffy with the save!!! i guess she’s not really wrong, traveling herbs are basically superpowers, but THAT’S MY FAVE!!!
ooh no. him staying “still can’t half hear” makes me wonder if any hearing will return at all, but i guess that’s for the epilogues! but in any case getting more on blacknose after it all is always a win… happy she’s still ‘here’ in a sense.
OH SO NIGHTBERRY ISN’T STAYING BECAUSE OBLIGATION SHE’S JUST STAYING SO COOTSTORM ISN’T ALONE AND BECAUSE OF TRAVEL AND CYPRESSFOOT??? :(((( MAN!!!!! though technically nightberry.. probably doesn’t have long left, so cootstorm will still be on her lonesome. tbh even though i hate cootstorm i eagerly wait to see if we get an epilogue for her, just to dig into her mind during isolation…
MAGIC EYEBALL POWERS AOFJRKENEKEN NOOOOO
AYO!!! THE CHARACTER ARC!! LET’S GO PLUMSTRIPE!! i love how they start on ‘we’ but then goes back onto ‘i’, major props to plumstripe for taking that first step and moving beeface on to apologize too!!
agehehhh beeface’s apology :(( god god i am NOT GOING TO CRY OVER CAT COMIC TODAY NOOOOOO!!!
OH WOW DAFFY DOESN’T ACCEPT HER APOLOGY???? to be honest.. LETS GO DAFFY GO STAND YOUR GROUND AND ACKNOWLEDGE THE APOLOGY BUT DON’T FEEL PRESSURED TO ACCEPT IT!!!! i think a daffy near the start of this probably would have just said “i accept your apology” to just.. get it over with, but my girl has GROWN!!!!!!!! SHE IS COMFORTABLE IN HER OWN SKIN AND WILLING TO DEFEND HERSELF!!! LETS FUCKING GOOOOO!!! i don’t want to say 100% because i could be illiterate but daffy’s mentor relationship with beeface can probably be described as abusive?? so i am very proud of her for voicing what she needs and saying she wants to go no contact!!! and yes it is stupid to say i’m proud of a fictional kitty but I DON’T CARE !!! DAFFY I’VE SEEN YOU GROWWWWW
god i’m so curious as to what bee would’ve done if plum wasn’t there, but also i’m overjoyed plum stopped.. whatever was gonna happen. cain and abel more like slugpelt and rainhaze amrite??
YES TALK ABOUT YOUR EMOTIONS CHILDREN!!!! yess daffy!!!!! very happy with her realizations that she doesn’t need a mate and/or kits to be fulfilled, but even if she tries and it doesn’t work out she has people… that’s my girl!!!! there is so much love in her heart and it’s growing every day.. she’s been through so much and still she just loves her family and her friends and wants to share even more of it.. AGGGGG DAFFY YOU’RE SO GROWNNNNNN AGGEGGVV!!!!
i forgot this was the pinewing comic for a second my bad. blinded by my favorite. anyways yes this is so stupid but i love the reminder that he and corm are ‘official’ now. they’re in love hehehe!!!!
yesyes please visit guys
SPOOKY BRAIN MAGIC LMAOOO i hope even when pinewing visits she never stops calling the magic funny names. it’s so good
oh they’re gonna visit asphodelshine i guess i am crying.. i forget what blue borders mean are those imagination? she does also look so much older.. are those daffy’s imagined kits or are those the stillborns that came before them..?
OH THIS IS STILL GOING OKAY I’M BUCKLING BACK IN
WAIT WHEN DID SLUG BREAK A LEG????? was this because of south park raccoon’s chomping or???
NO SLUG NO WE GOTTA GET OUT OF HERE!!! DON’T LEAVE YOU BEHIND!! NO ROTTING!!
oh gawd pinewing just wants his mom what if i cried again.. don’t rot for the dead live for the.. living idk i’m trying to sound cool but i’m too emotional over kitty cat comic.
CORM HELLO
awggeghh his home isn’t this place it’s the people…
“this time you’ll have me” GAY!! GAY PEOPLE!!! OH WOW THEY’RE SO GAY. they’re so adorable raz i did not go here expecting one of the cutest couples in fiction hello??
HI STRANGER ALNELEBELEIEKEJE I THINK I MIGHT LOVE YOU OH KY GODBSKDNEKDJD LET’S GO FIND SOMEWHERE NEW!! THIS PANEL IS SO PRETTY!! RAHHHHHHHHHHH
i love this comic so much.. i cannot believe it is ending but at least we have funny gay people…
I am gonna miss getting your issue reactions so badly! What a journey it's been!! :,)
Pinewing is now permanently hard of hearing in his scarred ear, because Hacksaw was able to damage some of his inner ear as well as the outer skin.
Yeah, even if she wasn't super old and weary, Nightberry wouldn't want to leave her daughter behind in isolation like this. To her, she's already fulfilled her last duty - telling Pinewing about oracles - so she can rest a little easier now. Cootstorm does have an epilogue, and I am super excited to get to it. >:]
Plumstripe's been having her own little character arc in the background of the last ten-ish issues, and this is where it really comes to the forefront! She's a lot guiliter and more unsure than Beeface is, but she's okay with guiding the two of them. And yeah, it was important to me that Daff accepted the apology but didn't forgive! It's okay to not forgive your abusers, and still want to them to become better people at the same time.
So real for being blinded by Daffodilcloud, she is wonderful and should be appreciated at all times.
Someday, in the future, Daffodilcloud: hey Pinewing can you find lunch for us with your brain lasers?
Pinewing: alright,
Blue borders are hypotheticals/imagination, yes! Daff is imagining what it could have been like for Asphodelshine to be an aunt to her own kittens in the future that never was.
Slugpelt broke her leg when Deepdark kicked her!
At heart I'm just a big sap who wants things to work out okay. And I like telling stories about people who get to have love and keep surviving despite the hard things they go through. Thanks for reading. <3

Thoughts on TBHK Chapter 125

The new chapter for tbhk just dropped and I'm not even gonna do an intro this time because already from this cover card ALONE it looks like we're FINALLY going to be seeing the clock keepers backstory play out, specifically, something that has to do with mirai. Words cannot describe how excited I am, so without further ado, let's begin chapter 125

Yo yashiro and this cat are so damn cute and second of all, it looks like aidairo once again is COOKING with these panels because my god just LOOK at the first few pages of this, nothing but beauty every time

Interesting, so it seems that this hourglass is the thing that can REALLY bring people through time and i think if yashiro gets that then that's her golden ticket to basically travelling to the past and ultimately stopping what's going to happen (I.E. Sacrifice theory)

BRUH AIDAIRO KEEPS COOKING, LIKE LOOK AT THIS, this is absolutely fantastic, my god lerche better get their act together because with season 2, they did NOT do aida's artwork Justice, also wait, are we seeing the backstory of clock keepers specifically Kako playout rn, was he just a regular human being who stumbled upon this supernatural artifact before eventually becoming the the clock keepers!? Oh aida what have you cooked up

Bruh this breaks my heart effing so much because not only does it confirm what we already knew about what happened in the red house but also because after all the things she's been through, she's finally able to meet the only person that can probably truly fix things only to be told "No" Straight to her face, like damn

Correct? CORRECT!? you're telling that having hanako become a mureder, tsukasa becoming a vessel and basically kou, mitsuba, and everyone else dying all because of this F*CKING THING IS CORRECT!? buddy i swear if you dont fix this I will make SURE you are the most HATED person in this series besides teru and tsukasa if things aren't back to normal by the end of this chapter

Bruh I don't care how many times I'll keep saying it, lerce better do aidairo's work JUSTICE next season because JUST LOOK AT THIS, these are literally masterpieces, I SWEAR, getting rid of that paneling and otomonapiea shit was their WORSE mistake because it doesn't do TBHK justice, like PLEASE go back 😖

HOLD UP, NIECE!? you're telling me Mirai is kako's niece!? I always thought she was his daughter, actually now that I think about it, her being his niece actually kinda makes sense 😅 also guess I was right about kako just being a normal guy who just happened to stumble upon the most Dangerous artifact,

Ya know it's so nice to the clock keepers finally playout because aside from the entity of the Red house, they've always really been the 1 that is the most interesting to me due to how mysterious they are and because they're designs always looked the Coolest (God the anime did them so dirty) so I'm glad that I can finally see their backstory because knowing aida, this is probably gonna end in tears 😅 Also I love how much of a problem child mira was back then considering her knack for getting into trouble as we see in the clock keepers arc, I also like how Kako is getting some love considering we know absolutely NOTHING about him, so it's nice to see he's getting some context

What did I say? What the eff did I say? I've played these games before aida I knew exactly where you were going with this considering I've seen you do it 7 TIMES already and yet It STILL got me, ya know between Oda's villains and Aidairo's backstories, I gotta say they just don't seem to miss, anyway let's see what the big Twist is, considering it's aida😒

WHAT!? THAT'S WHY IN THE PRESENT SHE'S A DOLL!? Omg, I HONESTLY did not expect this, omg aida what is wrong with you, this is literally probably the most tragic one out of ALL OF THEM, I'd go to even say it's worse than number six's, WOW. JUST. WOW. 😢

Oh and I just when i thought it couldn't get any worse, so you're telling me the clock keepers aren't even human or ghosts, they're just puppets created by distraught man who ERASED his niece and vowed to never let anyone mess with time again!? This is a TWISTED version of Pinocchio Omg 😰

Wait Are you telling me, that all this, this obsession with time, all of these events that have happened, and yashiro able to time-slip is all because of that clock, and that's why amane and tsukasa wanted to use and fix the big clock so bad, because it was literally manipulating them!? Every bad thing that's happened is all because of this THING so that it can be used!?

Yo you're a f*cking troll kako, how you gonna give us this whole effing sad backstory and origin of the clock keepers came to be and then explain basically the reason why most of the story even happens only to troll us by not revealing what that 1 thing you have to protect is, because in the end there's no point, like you just want me to hate you huh

Ive said before all I'll say it again yashiro OFFICIALLY HAS THE BEST CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT, because now she is ready to do whatever it takes to fix the past and save everyone , no longer is she the damsel distress or the shojo doormat people associated her with from the beginning, she is done waiting for people to save her and is ready to do the saving herself, my god aidairo you are absolutely amazing when it comes to writing these chapters and I can't wait to see more of it next month, it's time to OFFICIALLY go back to past, let's effing Go!
(God if we somehow get a happy ending hanako better marry her because this ending alone just proved what I've been saying about yashiro all this time, and shit if i were hanako I'd wanna marry her too if she was willing to sacrifice this much for him like damn)

SKZ’s reaction to being Trapped in an elevator with you
A/N: An idea from ummm 2020? Lmao I got trapped in an elevator once. Requests open :D
gender-neutral!reader, mix of romantic + platonic!
Bang Chan: “It’s okay, baby, stay calm. This is why there’s a call button built into the elevator.”
Waits a moment to see if the elevator will fix itself
Hugs you and rubs your back if you get scared
Then he presses the alert and/or call button in the elevator and handles the whole conversation until maintenance comes
Prioritizes you and does his best to keep the situation under control
Lee Know: “I can’t die now! I have three cats to raise!”
Startled but isn’t surprised; the elevator has been having issues all week and he’s been thinking about it every time he steps in
Kinda scared the elevator will fall—he’s definitely the type of person to plan on jumping as the elevator falls to supposedly minimize damage
Tries to distract himself while you handle the distress call
Suggests lifting you up to the top of the elevator like in spy movies until you remind him that there’s another set of doors on each floor of the elevator shaft
Changbin: “YO…yohhhh…sorry, sorry, where’s the distress button?”
Freaks out for a bit at first but quickly toughens up because he doesn’t want to worry you
Tries to distract you both from panicking with humour
Acts cool on call with maintenance to impress you 😎
The elevator is stuck near a floor, so he’s able to help push the door open and help you out!
Hyunjin: “AOUGH are we gonna die?? Okay, nevermind, we won’t…at least we brought food, right?”
Was returning from a snack run with you when the elevator crapped out and the lights started flickering
Is a drama queen until you open a bag of chips so he’ll stop yelling
You’re gonna have to handle the distress call simply because his mouth is full of snacks
Suggests making out to pass the time (he’s trying to distract himself)
Han: “Did you hear—WHAT WAS THAT?!”
Would panic before he even knows what’s happening! Thank goodness you’re there to calm him down
Latches onto you for comfort
You’d have to figure out which button to press and the call because he’s too stressed
Hugs you tightly even after you escape the elevator because “my life flashed before my eyes! I need to cherish you more!”
Felix: “Woah WOAH woah. Are you okay? You’re okay, right? Don’t worry, let’s handle this together.”
Pretends not to panic but spams whatever assist buttons they have and the “open door” one even though it doesn’t work
Clears his throat and makes sure to use his deep voice when on call to show you he isn’t scared. He isn’t! Not worried at all!!
Holds your hand and does deep breathing exercises with you to keep you both calm
Will massage your head for you to help you relax
Seungmin: “Ugh, I hate when this happens. Give it a minute.”
This is the guy who had a helicopter crash into his building and was unphased… unbothered king™️ could not give a crap about the elevator
Is two minutes away from lock picking a control panel to try and fix it himself (he can’t. He’s just bored)
The elevator is trapped between floors even though the door opens—he’s ready to help lift you up through the gap just to get help quicker
You refuse because you don’t want to leave him behind, so you play a game with him to pass the time
I.N: “Um…we’re supposed to call someone, right? But my phone is dead!”
Is honestly unsure what to do…Is praying in his head that the elevator fixes itself first so you don’t need to call for help
His finger hesitates over the alarm/call button while his other hand holds yours tightly
Asks if you have snacks so he can stress eat while you wait for help
Immediately searches up “what to do when trapped in an elevator” the moment you’re out in order to prepare for the future

finished re-reading the jewel arc & I have thoughts...
The plot is about Ranma making Shampoo "say she loves him," yet the climax says his heart is unwaveringly Akane's. Ahampoo shows interest? He pulls away. Akane's "interest" is way more intense, yet he pulls closer
Notably, all the fiancées tell Ranma they love him in this arc, but only Akane's declaration gets to him. It reminds him that love is supposed to be something you feel and not a mindless challenge to win
These two panels being only a couple of pages apart really spell things out. Look at Ranma being put off by just a "hot stare" vs instantly leaning in and ~staring~ at Akane after an intense love confession. Atrociously down bad.
Similar to Tsubasa calling him ugly, Shampoo's rejection is framed as an attack, not just on his ego, but on his self-worth (this time also tied to public judgment). He reacts to both as if it were a challenge, his fighting aura visible... but the differences are interesting
The challenge against Tsubasa is clearly about looks, but with Shampoo at its core is more about likability. She doesn't attack his looks, she says he's a scum (and so should be hated). Even if he's like "am I no longer irresistible?" he's focusing on love, not attraction
When he's looking for validation with Ukyo, he doesn't ask "am I attractive to you?" (which is what you would associate with "being irresistible") but "do you love me?" (am I the type of guy girls fall in love with? ... that's what he connects with "irresistible")
Much to say about Ranma being emotionally stunted but this is the kind of stuff showing that at his core, he's a soft, romantic guy, jerk-ness notwithstanding. Classmates might say it's about desire (because THEY're horny lol) but he never goes there. Freaks out at the suggestion even
You can see the contrast with the classmates from the beginning (horny talk) while Ranma is focused on Akane's smile... his fantasies with girls are always something romantic with Akane, and it's hundreds of chapters before his interest in seeing Akane naked is brought up.
Ranma's personal space is invaded with frequency, which affects him, but all interest for him is tied to romance. There's a certain distance in challenges and playing characters, but I don't think he's comfortable with being desired from up close... unless he's in love (Akane)
And even then it's difficult for him. You can see how much he's about romance when he does not react at all to Shampoo's bridal fit (the cutest she has ever looked mind you... and yet) and with Akane just the sigh gets a big reaction
I think it makes sense to be a soft romantic at heart and struggle with being disliked. Wanting space from someone who annoys you doesn't mean you want/can take actual hostility from them. Being "dumped" is also a form of "losing" and Ranma must win absolutely everything.
Every step of the way he frames this as a challenge, a matter of reputation, armor, strategy, etc... without ever processing there are real, actual feelings at play (love is a battle, a simple challenge, instead of.... you know, love... he's not associating any of it with feelings! ... until Akane "confesses"). Other characters misjudge him for the bit, but Kasumi/Nabiki as a duo usually get it right
Akane can get angry because of misunderstandings/insecurities, but sometimes she's angry because she's being more perceptive and mature than Ranma and simply sees he's being an insensitive dumbass. (Ranma telling her not to be jealous also indicates he's not processing/seeing this as wanting someone else)

Sidenotes: it hits me that Shampoo is really a cat lol only truly dangerous when she feels (emotionally) cornered but otherwise she's just fucking around. “She hates me fr” says the melodramatic guy whose examples of "cold" and "hatred" are juvenile annoyance
Shampoo's abilities are plot devices more than anything else. If you take it seriously the speed with which Ranma defeats her is frankly disrespectful lol only the boys get Serious Fights. The tone with the female fighters is just different, no point in fixating on abilities or the like with them
(says something interesting about sexism in-world though. Cologne ya girl is getting washed, stand up! alas, she's only interested in future husband as she's ensured Shampoo's survival in her village. Could speculate the same happens to Akane, where she's trained just enough to be able to defend herself in her peaceful world, but then is left alone as the future of the dojo is expected to fall in the hands of a strong husband) (Mostly is the shonen of it all, as we're expected to believe none of the female martial artists have a sustained interest in improving/becoming stronger like the boys have. I suspend my belief here because there's still plenty to like about these characters, how the female fighters can be used, and because it's funny. What can I say. A bitch is being entertained)

Here's a few things about Fukurodani's no.7 : Konoha Akinori (a headcanon)
He makes the simplest, most normal things hot as hell. Here's a panel to prove exactly that:

You can say whatever you want, but this panel has never left my head since the first time i read it four years ago. It's a simple phrase. "Nah. Dun wanna.", so why does it hold so much impact? Simple. Because he's Fukurodani's no. 7: Konoha Akinori
2. People call him the "the Jack of all Trades; Master of None" but here's a few things he's actually good at:
2.1. He is incredibly smart. He's street smart and book smart. His favourite subject is Chemistry, and he has the periodic table memorised in one day simply because he's bored. 2.2. He's very good at baking, especially pastries that many claim difficult. He makes the fluffiest croissants and everybody goes crazy for them. 2.3. Konoha is a terrible singer, but he is actually good at dancing. The only time you'd get to see dancer Konoha is when he's hammered. You will get to see this side of him when he's had 7 shots of soju.
3. Konoha is a good ass dresser. Here's a few pictures yet to support this brainrot of mine:

4. Konoha loves animals and he has a number of cats at home, and he names them after chemical elements. His favourite cat is a Siamese cat which he names Silicone (because it's a SIAMESE)
5. Konoha enjoys hiking and he would go hiking every weekend. In his bucket list, he would like to hike at all the hiking spots in Japan. He would like to climb Mount Everest one day.
6. The only sport Konoha enjoys is volleyball and he sucks at other sports. He can't kick a ball to save his life.
7. He is extremely bad at relationships and flirting in general. Konoha is good at making friends and keeping a conversation, but he becomes a mess when people tell him they like him or when asked to flirt, he says the dumbest shit, embarrassing himself.
8. He is a family man. He is overprotective of his sisters and would always scare the men who try to ask out his sisters which brings me to my next point:
9. Konoha is bad at making enemies. He can't fight for shit and he has never been in a fight before, simply because he is liked by everyone. He may appear angry, but that's all there is in him.
10. Konoha is not only overprotective of his family, but he is also overprotective of his friends (Akaashi especially) and would always find ways to help them out. He hates it when his friends fall into a slump (though he may appear tired of Bokuto's antics) and he is always the first to give them advice.

i love him so much guys. pls love him too.
#haikyuu#fukurodani#konoha akinori#headcanons#konoha is so hot i can't stop thinking about him#konoha brainrot all day every day#jack of all trades#master of none#i love konoha

i literally didn’t want to post this but i need a better place to archive my writing outside of my notes app. and hey, maybe someone wants to see me write about this:
so one of my favorite concepts of TF that isn’t read into enough in my opinion is the pure amount of trauma these bots would have from the war. especially bee. bro knows nothing but fighting and working. in this au, the war is over, but he still has some problems he needs to work out, and some fear he needs to get over.
some extra background background :3
Humans are seen as luxury items, especially now since it’s taboo to kidnap them. If one warms up to a Cybertronian, they’ll never get over it.. they’re like able, to a species as fragile and afraid as a human. what’s not to brag about with that?? also, a very traumatized bumblebee
y/n= your name
y/a=your age
gender neutral reader
You wake up. Silence. Which is weird, because in this place, everything is always making noise. You swing your feet over the side of your bed, leaning and grabbing a hairbrush off of your nightstand to fix… that.
You think. Is it even worth it getting up today? You’re going to experience near death, then be pampered until you feel like a doll. Is it even—
You shiver at the cold, snapping back to reality; exhaling and dropping the brush back on your bed. You lean forward, your feet pressing gently against the concrete floor of the base. It’s cold, so you go up onto your tip-toes on instinct, bouncing around over to the door to your room. The Autobots had installed a sort of cat-door for you, though it’s just a hole in the wall with some tinsel to make it fun to walk through. The doors that are motion detected won’t detect you, so an accommodation was necessary… at least that’s what Optimus said. And decoration was just as needed, Bee insisted.
You’re not complaining, though. Having a little color in the base is nice, especially since you’re not aloud to leave and see the real world.
Bots and cons don’t necessarily live in harmony. They still dislike each other, but in the way scholars do. They’ll one up each other, not brawl it out. And since having a human is such a prestigious thing, they’re nearly consistently trying to insist you pick a side so that one can be ‘better’. Atleast enough to have their own person.
You don’t mind the cons. They’ve got work to do.. but they’re fun.
And you don’t mind the bots. They’re a lot sometimes, in whichever way that may be. But the two teams balance eachother out, and you like both. You can’t bring yourself to choose one.
So now you’re stuck with split-custody.
“Bee?” You call, reaching the wall leading to his room. You press your hands against the door, searching for the detector, when suddenly the two panels slide apart.
Revealing a gun in your face.
You shriek, and so does he, both backing up simultaneously, ending with you on your back and him still holding the damn thing up at you.
You fall silent. Bee scans you for a moment, before transforming his weapon back into a servo.
“Uh..”
“Bee, what the fuck was that?”
“Sorry, y/n—I’m sorry. I don’t know what I… I mistook you as… I’m sorry.” You don’t reply for a moment, furrowing your brows and sitting up on the ground. “…Did you think I was going to hurt you?”
Yeah.
“No. ‘Course not.”
This guy’s trauma is going to get me killed, you thought to yourself, standing up and rubbing your back. He’s grabbed you before, but he’s never pointed anything at you.
“Okay. Good. Because—“
“‘Because you’d never even potentially think of doing something like that in the entire world. Wait, no, galaxy. Wait, no, universe.’ I know, man. You say it every time.”
“Don’t phrase it like that,” he pouted. “You make it sound like I do this a lot.”
“You do do this a lot.” He giggled, then frowned again. “Bee. Are there any robot therapists? Cuz I think you need one.”
He blinked.
“Why can’t you be my ‘therapist’?”
“Because I’m y/a. I don’t have a degree in that… and I also don’t even know what you’re saying half the time.” You explain. He shrugged, just standing up a little further.
“Fair…. enough. Also, Optimus wants to talk to you.” You raise an eyebrow, then frown, turning on your heels. Might as well get this lecture over with. Optimus is fine, but he’s strict. Acts like you’re a little kid. Something wraps around your waist, lifting you up above the ground. You’re turned around, face to face with that scrap-eating grin.
“He didn’t say when.” Bee wrapped his hand around little further around you, comforting.
You scowl.
“Mariokart, y/n.”
Then you smile. The lecture can wait.
#g/t#maccadam#transformers#transformers g/t#bumblebee#yay#idk if this makes sense#i kind of thought of this idea just now#robotrauma#i mean… these bots have seen a lot#yea idk#i’ll write more eventually

(i cant stop yapping about Asakame please help me-)
Do you think every illustration in the Fusuma/Shoji doors decorated in the Ooku means anything to a scene? I saw in the Fire Rat trailer when the woman meeting is held the door was a tiger, it sort of gets me on a "cat-fight" between them. And will the final boss of the trilogy be a snake? Since the first ever teaser for the movie had snakes on them
(trying so hard not to mention when Asa said what kept her emotions on ground was Kame the scene had her place beside the WHOLE panel illustration of the Fox Wedding door and the fact that a foxes wedding is associated with sunshowers)
By all means keep posting about Asakame, I love it!
Given that it's Mononoke, the Symbolism and Metaphor show, I do think every piece of door and wall art has meaning. You can also see that there are tamari balls bouncing around on the wall of Mugitani's room (a tamari ball being the object she threw into the well).
I'm not sure what the meaning of the tiger would be. It looks like it's trying to get in, so maybe it symbolizes the rage of the mononoke trying to break through?
That's a good thought about the snakes... There is a snake youkai called Uwabami that's known for its gluttonous nature. It also once called down a huge rain and flood on a guy who ticked it off, so there are possible connections with the Kun Trigram (connected with the stomach) and with the Karakasa. Another is Yamata no Orochi. I remember someone suggested when we first saw the art that it was reminiscent of the Yamato no Orochi legend.
Snakes are also symbols of life, death, and rebirth, and in Buddhism they're symbols of the poison of hatred or anger. In the first "Bakeneko" arc, there are snakes on the walls behind Lord Sakai and his son, along with a red thread, which is a symbol of fate.
I think part of the Nue looks like a snake as well? It's quite possible that the final mononoke could have a snake form.
The fox wedding thing... Yeah, they may well have been going straight for the lesbians thing there. 😛
A couple other things I noticed about the walls in Karakasa:
The three "eyes" of the mononoke sometimes appear on the images. For example, they're in the eyes of the flamingos on the wall when Awashima cuts Kame's hair. It's notable, I think, that when those "eyes" appear on images and objects, they tend to stay put for a while, whereas when they appear in human eyes, they vanish quickly.
Also, the art is sometimes animated. When Kame is talking about wanting to become a concubine while Mugitani is giving them "the tour," the puppies playing on the wall are blinking.
In these shots where the wall art appears to be alive, I think it's connected to the idea of life existing in objects, like the objects the women threw into the well, which carried parts of themselves.
And of course there are flowers everywhere, with the idea of the women themselves as "flowers" being a big theme in the movie.
Kusu also has a mischievous little kitty and a demon behind him here, so make of that what you will. 😛
That same wall also has a kappa on it right above the cat. The kappa is an aquatic ayakashi, so that's a probable connection to Karakasa's rain/water theme. According to yokai.com, they're also "a kind of water god" in Shinto.
I'm sure there's a ton more that others who have seen the movie more times than I have, who are more observant than I am, and/or who are better versed in Japanese culture than I am have picked up on. But yeah, all that wall art is important for sure. I'd say all the wall art in the series is important as well, but that's a whole other post.

Zelda Ramble: Vaati
I felt the need to talk about blorbos and by god i shall, christmas gift for y'all!
Vaati is a very interesting character to me, with or without my personal headcanons. His presumed motivation, told to Link in Minish Cap by Ezlo, is purely that Vaati fell into obsession over the evil of mankind, but that doesn't make much sense, does it?
EDIT: Stating here that I accept asks! If anyone wants to ask for my opinion on a certain Zelda character from any game, I'll be happy to blab all of my thoughts on them! I can't promise a massive block of text, but I can promise a thoughtful paragraph or two at the very least! Just give a name (even something like "that weird guy in the blue-ish shop") and the game and I will FORM thoughts haha
[Rest of RAMBLE Below!]
Every Minish Link met during his journey in the first game was sickeningly optimistic. To the point that even Minish like 2 feet away from Murder Mittens Cats were quite cheerful, and the Minish who literally did ALL of the shoemaker's job were glad to do so. Even the Crenel Minish were very optimistic despite a much harsher climate and hardworking culture. That is why I am assuming that the magic that fuels the Minish existence makes them inherently Good and Light, for lack of better words. Thoughts of undeserved ill-will do not show up in any conversations Link has with the Minish, so I assume that Minish feel no need to inconvenience others.
So Vaati's original motivation was not malicious, but became so when he transformed into a Hylian. I personally do subscribe to the theory that Ezlo was a very old-fashioned, strict, and unsympathetic teacher to Vaati, and Ezlo learns how to be a better person while traveling with Link, though never perfect. The Minish Cap Legendary Manga has hints of this in the Bonus Panels, where Ezlo and Vaati have a very negative relationship, honestly. Ezlo sends him searching for a full day for a herb that does not exist, both wasting time and damaging Vaati's self esteem and trust in Ezlo as a teacher. Though, Ezlo also apparently, according to the manga (and I QUOTE), is, "going to all the singles' parties in town." So it's not the most Serious source, though 2/4 of the Bonus Comics are Ezlo outright saying multiple times that he is hard on Vaati, sooo.
Vaati was not fulfilled in his apprenticeship with Ezlo, that is certain! He felt like he was not learning anything of note, and so he wanted to Actually get stronger, not whatever this was. When Ezlo started making the Wishing Cap, I genuinely think Vaati thought he was a moron. An all-powerful artefact that doesn't have any safety measures? AND he trusted HYLIANS to use it? I personally believe that Vaati had bad experiences around Hylians before, and I have a whole Tragic Backstory or whatever, but the only part that matters for his Distrust is this: I believe that, during a minor flood, Vaati was swept off from his home and into the center of a panicking Hyrule Town, and, as a young Minish who had NEVER seen a Hylian before, his first impression was a bunch of frightened people acting out with panic and anger at the situation. He had no reason to trust the tales told about how great Hylians were when his only experience was genuinely horrible, so excuse him for thinking leaving a completely unguarded magical, reality-bending wish-granting HAT in the hands of Hyrule wasn't a good idea.
A combination of feeling Ezlo as incompetant and cruel, his yearning to actually learn something to make him a powerful asset to the Minish, AND his trauma with Hylians compelled him to steal the cap and use it. Though he didn't like Hylians, he knew they were strong, and there were likely many great mages among them. Sure, he knew of the Light Force and Picori Blade, but they weren't part of his plan until the magic that made him Minish was removed by the Wishing Cap. The moment that Light was pushed away, Vaati only had his own negativity and Wind magic by his side, which set him thinking.
He wanted to become powerful before, but now that Minish Magic wasn't flowing through his core, there was nothing stopping the plan from spiraling from ambitious into malicious. Especially since I also have a theory that Demise's Curse is not necessarily a reincarnating soul, but a disease in the hearts of all living things aside from the Hero's Spirit and Hylia's Children (Link and the Royal Family essentially), so ANYONE could have a "flare up" and become a vessel of Demise, which is why multiple avatars of Demise's will have existed at one time. When the Minish Magic was no longer keeping his heart pure, it was very, very easy for the Curse to flare up and consume him.
So innocent enough ambition is warped into demented malice as he begins his takeover and chaos-bringing path.
Of course, the story's pretty cut and dry after that, Link reforges the holy blade, takes Vaati down with the power of Clones, all is well. But the Four Sword is special, I believe in many things about it. The most relevant are as follows:
The Four Sword takes in power from the elements used to forge it anew. Therefore, as long as it is at least able to touch Air, it will literally only grow more powerful. When it is able to touch Earth AND Air, it's accelerated, and if Water joins in (rain) then it's like a boost. If someone decided to light the resting place on Fire, then that would also only benefit. This is how I explain its growing power over the games/mangas, from Minish Cap's mindless and fragile clones to Four Swords' solid mindless clones, to Four Swords Adventures having four entirely independent copies of an individual. Keep in mind I believe this power intake IS very slow, but constant.
The Four Sword applies four different types of seals. Earth fuels the seal on the Mind, such as logical thinking and sanity. Fire fuels the seal on the Memory, obviously memories and emotions. Water seals aspects of the Body, mobility, forms the sealed may have taken. Wind seals the Soul, the essence of an individual, the personality, magic too. These seals are independent from one another and can be broken at different times. They also have a taste for devouring the magic, and, well, Vaati is a meaty morsel. The seals wear him down over time baseline.
Vaati is freed multiple times after he is first sealed, but the first time is particularly intriguing. In the Game, Four Swords, Vaati has a very simple motivation---he wants a wife. Which he never had ANY desire for before.
So what happened?
Well, I believe that only a few of the seals broke. The Earth merely cracked, Fire holds strong, Water is cracked, and the Wind is completely broken. Vaati only has access to his demonic body, a small amount of logical thinking, and all of his magic and personality. But he doesn't remember much of anything about his Before. I am personally using the official Timeline's spacing here, so I would apply the first 4swords about 100 years after MC, making the Zelda of the game MC's granddaughter/great-granddaughter. And let's be honest, I think the ONLY timeline with DECENT record-keeping is the Adult Timeline, which is surprising because LITERALLY EVERYTHING FLOODED. Some information was lost, yes, but it's basically all THERE, they have a TRADITION with the HERO OF TIME'S MEMORY. Thus, I believe that the Link and Zelda of the first 4swords were not well-informed on how Vaati SHOULD have been.
Blah blah blah, Vaati isn't acting like himself, he's sealed again, and time passes. Timeline gets turned into a shit smoothie, and for some reason Vaati only ends up being notably released in the Child Timeline. I personally think Vaati fucking drowned when he came out in the Adult Timeline, and the people of the Downfall Timeline were so battle-hardened that they didn't really need a hero to kill his ass. Only the relatively-peaceful Child Timeline was just right for him to both not die immediately and also be able to cause any ripple in the Daily Routine.
But something was WRONG with him. The once super chatty and prideful Vaati literally doesn't have a single line. He doesn't even have his usual dramatic entrance, just sends the Links flying with some air and dips (in the game, not Manga. As much as I love the manga, I usually apply the Manga Elements to the Base Game because the Game has More Substance for their adventure). He's not himself. He's not THERE. A husk wearing a familiar face, no memory, no real personality, no logic, really. More animal than person. More monster than man.
The Vaati that started it all had long since been consumed, only the last dregs of him escaped at all. A tragic end for a fun character.
Lmao this thing is literally so long and I tried to make it shorter by not just spouting off every headcanon I have. Sorry, but it's my thing! Let me know your own thoughts if you want to, I love hearing others' opinions and theories. Heck, tell me to kms if you wanna, it would be funny---disagree with everything I said and kick me in my nonexistent balls.
Happy holidays, hope you all had a nice and tasty meal and a warm night in comfy blankets. Pet an animal if you so choose, drink something because it's good for you, remember some of you have work tomorrow, sadly.

Things that I think Might Give Nuance to Eleceed aka I complain
how the fuck has Jiwoo not shown more attachment issues with other characters, like I know he does has at one point with Kayden but it's so infrequent that you forget this kid has basically been neglected his entire life
Can I get a chapter on just his eating habits? Like we don't know much about him other than that he's an overpowered bean. Like can he cook or does he even do it? Does he just live off of takeout and shin ramyun for the majority of his life?? I WANT ANSWERS!!
+ to point 2, failed chance of environmental storytelling but hey if u gotta pump out a new chapter every week that's at least 40 panels I would skip it too.
LET THE BESTIE FUCKING HANGOUT OMFG! never in my life have I seen a friend group as underdeveloped as Subin, Wooin, Jisuk, and Jiwoo... Before u come for my ass I know I'm right because do u remember ANY chapters where their dynamics were explored... and I mean just them I'm srs
Shakes u aggressively The fucking entirety of the payoff of the Jiwoo gets kidnapped and core fucking obliterated arc? Like how the hell is he fine and dandy after that shit? NO, I DO NOT CARE HOW GOOD OF A HEALER KARTEIN IS I WANT TO SEE SOME ANGST!!!
slams papers THEY INTRODUCE CHARACTERS AND SUDDENLY THEY'RE FUCKING DEAD. The fact that some arguably pivotal characters to the plot and world-building cough Sucheon, Arthur, Iseul, etc, etc. cough have not appeared in over like 150 ch tells me WAY too much about the current development and I DO NOT LIKE IT!! Let's explore Sucheon and HIS REACTION TO THE KIDNAPPING THING? Iseul can talk to animals, cool but kayden is a human who basically transfigured into a cat... maybe there is more to those awakened animals... OR FUCKING ARTHUR?? MY GUY HAS NO HARM AND WITNESSED FRAME KILL HIS CLASSMATES AND WAS BETRAYED HOW TF DID THAT FLY UNDER THE BUS
u know what pisses me off is that they aren't actively developing Amyeong (dark) and Jiwoo's relationship and Amyeong's ties to Jiwoo's mother. Also, PERSONALY, I think Jiwoo and his mother should be more awkward around each other considering her job and I've seen videos that the lack of time spent with a parent can rlly just make them a stranger to a child. Plus Kayden knows more about Jiwoo than his mother anyways let me SEE it.
In the end, I just complain out of a slight love for the series, these are things I just personally want to see out of the webcomic that's all. Also, I might have more, I kinda stopped reading it in order after ch 200 something.
#eleceed#seo jiwoo#i'm so fucking funny#pls give this poor child a personality#I'm sorry but liking cats isn't a personality trait#why do i do this to myself#just yappin#what is bro yapping about#let me cook#i just want good story telling#I rlly should go to bed#eleceed webtoon

How was the rest of the Kuroshitsuji panel? I'm curious lol
I'm so glad you asked! I was actually planning to make a post on this regardless of interest, so it's convenient that someone will actually already be curious to hear lol. Here is the long version of what happened at the panel:
Before CDawgVA, the directors, and Daisuke Ono came out onstage, they had a hype man going around and interviewing cosplayers in the audience/giving them random Crunchyroll prizes. He would ask the cosplayers to tell him something about their costume. My favorites were the Sebastian who cut their wig just that morning and the Ciel who left their neck bow at home, so they improvised one out of tissues and it actually looked pretty good. Here's my picture of it on the big screen:

I guess I'm an outlier who never watched a CDawgVA video, so seeing him in person was actually my first time seeing him ever. He seemed like a nice guy and happy to be there, I can see why people like him. He did a pretty good job inviting the guests onstage and asking them questions -
Producer Yoshito Ito and director Kenjirou Okada both received applause when they came out, but the crowd fuckin exploded for Daisuke Ono. He clearly has a lot of experience in working a room, he did a little theatrical bow when he walked out, and I think he said "yes, my lord" or something like that, I don't remember exactly. I'm actually not much of a fan of his, but I still joined everyone else in cheering loudly for him -
All the guests spoke Japanese and as far as I could tell the translator did a really good job up there, he was quick on the draw every time. I could tell the fan next to me spoke some Japanese and he seemed to think it was accurate -
To break the ice, CDawg asked the three panelists about what they thought of Los Angeles. I can't remember what the director and producer said, but Ono went to see a Lakers game and had a good time even though they lost -
Then CDawg (do people call him that or Connor? I actually don't know, sorry if I sound like a pleb) said that because Sebastian likes cats so much, he wonders if any of the panelists would like to have a cat. I believe it was Okada who said he had a cat two years ago when he lived with his parents, but when he moved out, his mother told him "The cat is staying here." Ito said he would rather have a dog, and Ono said he would also prefer a dog, but he would definitely name the dog "Sebastian" -
The panel was scheduled to be under an hour, so I was kind of glad when CDawg moved on from the goofy questions and asked about the anime. Ito and Okada talked about location scouting a little bit in England. They said the oddest thing for them was how there weren't mountains and that they could see the horizon even when they weren't near water. They said if they hadn't actually visited England, they probably would have put mountains around Weston...... -
CDawg also asked them about the food (and apologized for its taste before they could answer lol). Ito and Okada said that they enjoyed the fish and chips, but were surprised that afternoon tea did not live up to the hype. They didn't like the scones with clotted cream, which surprised CDawg, who said "clotted cream is the only good food we have" lmao -
Ito and Okada also talked about how they initially turned down an offer to make a new season, supposedly because they didn't think they could hold a candle to the earlier seasons. They said they later changed their minds when they realized that there were still fans of the series who wanted to see what came next. I personally don't buy that answer, but not for any reason other than it sounds fake. Maybe there's some truth to it (maybe) -
They also talked about how they really went into the Public School arc hoping to create something that felt different from the previous seasons. That was interesting to me, because it didn't really feel like that's what they were going for when I watched it, but okay I guess they were -
Ono said the most exciting thing for him about working on the Public School arc was that he was granted permission to give a more emotional performance this time. He believes that Ciel and Sebastian's experience fighting Undertaker on the Campania was a turning point in their relationship and that it changed the way he voiced Sebastian. He really did seem pleased with this fact, though it seemed to me that he could not remember Book of Atlantic very well lol—but that could have simply been due to the way the translator referred to it as "that cruise ship" -
I think that was when they took another little break to play a game CDawg came up with where the panelists had to guess what a few words in British slang meant. The first was the Welsh word "cwtch". We weren't supposed to take pictures but your girl took one anyway

"Cwtch" is pronounced "cootch" and CDawg said "Here's a hint: when you see Ciel, you want to give him a cwtch." Through no fault of the Welsh, CDawg clearly picked this word to sound like an innuendo, and some people in the audience were shouting "Kiss? Kiss?" I can't remember who, but either Ito or Okada's guess was something the translator apparently "Couldn't say out loud" with the impression that their guess was sexually inappropriate? Ono and the remaining director/producer guessed the word "hug" which was close: "cwtch" means "cuddle." It was such a bizarre moment, I stg when will we stop making sexual jokes about this child character. That includes you, Yana 🫵 -
The next word CDawg had everyone guess was "chuffed", with a picture of young Vincent celebrating his cricket victory. The hint was "you feel this after you win a cricket match." Both Ito and Okada correctly guessed "happy" and Ono guessed "like you want to drink a beer." CDawg said that that was truly in the spirit of English culture -
After that we got the Green Witch trailer, which was another bizarre moment, this time for the reason that we saw no new animation and we basically knew it was coming. Still, the audience went wild and it was fun to experience it together. We also got the 2025 release date so I guess that's cool -
Next, Ito and Okada talked about the upcoming season a little bit. The only thing of note that I can recall is that they said they weren't going location scouting this time because Sieglinde's village wasn't a real place. However, they said they planned to take a lot of inspiration from the manga itself. These points struck me as disheartening and obvious in turn, but I guess at least they were honest -
Ono said he was excited to give a darker performance this time around. He also said, mostly likely to drum up the crowd, that he was a little nervous but that he could do anything with "Ciel" (Maaya Sakamoto) by his side, and yes the audience did eat it up with more applause -
After that, CDawg raffled off what looked to be a drawing of Sebastian, possibly by Yumi Shimizu, signed by Daisuke Ono. They had given us these tickets before the panel started and the person with the winning number got the prize. Shockingly, I did not win -
Next someone came and took a picture of the panelists and the audience in the background, then Daisuke Ono did this thing where he waved at everyone and got us to wave with him, and finally the panel ended after roughly fifty minutes
Overall, I give the event a 6/10. We didn't have a lot of time, so I understood that they couldn't go too in-depth and that they wanted to keep it lighthearted too, but I personally would have appreciated some more interesting information on season 4 or something juicy about season 5. As it was, it felt like a lot of what we learned was entirely unsurprising. But it was nice of everyone to come all the way from Japan and the UK, and I guess it's kind of cool to say I've seen Daisuke Ono live now, even though he's only my third favorite Sebastian. My expectations were low, I went just to say I was there, and what I mainly gained was a bit of whimsical joy at being in a room full of Kuro fans, which is no bad prize at all.

Bushy’s breathing was wheezy yesterday so his dad set up a humidifier next to him in hopes it might help (it’s the red light in the photo). We decided to take him to the vet to be safe. He gets wheezy breathing every few months & it always goes away on its own. This time I wanted peace of mind so we had the works done: extensive blood work panel, thyroid checked & X-rays.
The good news: everything looks good. The vet said his bloodwork looks healthy, his X-rays looked great & his thyroid was normal. The not so good news: an unexpected bladder stone was discovered. We had no idea cuz he hasn’t shown any signs of discomfort or any changed behaviors/routine. We were told bladder stones are common in cats & some are asymptomatic. Apparently there are 2 types of stones: Struvite and Calcium Oxalate. A Struvite stone will dissolve on its own with the aid of prescription food, while the Calcium Oxalate stone requires a $3,000 surgery to remove 😳 We’re praying it’s the Struvite version 🙏🏼 We bought a flat of prescription canned food from the vet & started it today. In 1 month we’ll get another X-ray to see if the stone dissolved.
B was sedated for the tests yesterday. They also checked him for a throat polyp which the vet thought could have been a cause for his wheezy breathing. No polyp was found & he didn’t show signs of asthma or allergies on his X-rays.
B is always a really sweet, friendly guy but when we picked him up last night, he was like Old Yeller! 😳🙀 He was SO ANGRY! 😾Growling in the corner of the vet’s cage, swatting at anyone who tried to touch him (including me & his dad). I know it was due to the sedative wearing off but it was quite a shock as we have never seen him like that. We felt so bad. When we got home B was much better but still groggy. Mochi was very nice to him. No hissing as is common between cats when one has been at the vet.
I’m pleased to report that Bushy is 100% back to being himself today & his breathing sounds much better. He seems happy & comfortable like usual. He also seems to like the new prescription food. Hopefully the food zaps his bladder stone & we won’t have to return to the vet for a very long time 🙏🏼
I will post updates as we get them. Please keep Tiny B in your thoughts 💗🦦💗

4/22/25 UPDATE: We received some excellent news today! 😺 Read it on B’s fb page & be sure to give him a like/follow while you’re at it 👇🏼 (says “Log into Facebook” but it’s really a direct link to the post on his “Bushy B.” Fb page so just click below)

LORE DROP! LORE DROP! LORE DROP!
But first lets finish with Slick because huh??
Using the power of sprite flipping, Slick is able to manifest his barcode once again. Such a silly little argument actually becomes poignant who knew? Also not sure how I missed it but the references to SBAHJ were actually links to previous comics. Still doesnt explain their connection but it does make them more than just throwaways.
After scanning the barcode, the doors open revealing something very curious.
Oh yeah buddy, that is definitely a spirograph and this is definitely a bunker.
This guy again?
Been a long time.
A bunker Slick is very familiar with. We dont get much more about this mysterious new figure besides that they are:
grey with orange horns
they have cruxite and captchalouge cards so have to be connected with SBURB
his window matches the panes of Slicks console
theres a sickle on the ground
his shirt has the zodiac symbol for Cancer
and what may be a crab-like Sprite is floating in their room
This guy is obviously a player but they are not from earth so not likely in the same session as John and co. The only references weve had to other worldly beings were from the trolls so could it be this is one of them? And that begs the question of how did they infiltrate the kids session?
The intermission ends with another poorly drawn MSPA panel of this final shot in his room before the curtains close and we start act 4.
FLIGHT OF THE PARADOX CLONES
An interesting title of this act and reminded me of the orchestral piece 'Flight of the Bumblebee' by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov. Looking more into it, the song was originally an interlude piece for one of his operas and "intended to musically evoke the seemingly chaotic and rapidly changing flying pattern of a bumblebee (Wikipedia)." Ive got a feeling things are gonna get crazy this act, more so than weve seen so far especially with whatever paradox clones are.
Act 4 starts us where we left off with John as he passes through the gate to the planet below: The Land of Wind and Shade.
Like we did way back when, this flash is interactive allowing us to explore a part of the planet. On top of that Nanna is still back at the house, unable to join John on his quest, and after interacting with certain parts adds a little more (if cryptic) context.
Lets start with a few visual basics.
(gonna be just as much of a doozy as that house update was so be prepared)
LOWAS (because I am not writing that whole thing out every time) is a very beautiful planet, and not just cause I am biased towards blue. Glowing trees and mushrooms grow everywhere with pipes and Parcel Pyxis scattered around. The previously thought dark rivers are actually full of oil, much like the imps John has been fighting. On LOWAS we find different imps with cat and tentacle features as well as princess costumes; a product of Roses entering the medium. Hanging fairly low are clouds full of 'stars' that are actually Fireflies, trapped by a spell from The Slumbering One. The yellow salamanders that we interact with are the Consorts of this land, self-depreciating little creatures John will have to protect.
Starting with the Parcel Pyxis, these cylindrical objects operate like mailboxes ‘connected to [the] network of pipes’. Pyxis is a small constellation though there doesn’t seem to be a connection beyond a space theme. These operate using Minitablets which look similar to the Captchalouge cards weve seen. These are carved and deposited into the Pyxis for someone else, unknown to the requester, to find and then deposit said item. If you find something in one of these you are ‘obliged to keep it’ as its thought to be ‘a gift from the Breeze’. Looking around at each Pyxis we do find various items as well as more of the oil spewing from one. Of note, one of the Pyxis contains amber much like the one Serenity was in and found by WV. Nanna, after the explanation of the Pyxis, states ‘The true Heir must learn [their] ways … to progress through the Gates.’ So we now have confirmation that John is the Heir of Breath which makes sense with all the talk of wind and Breezes but more on that later.
A group of salamanders can be found who explain more about what happened to this planet. Fireflies as we learned are important and The Slumbering One cast a spell before falling asleep to trap them. At the same time, ‘some really terrible guys’ asked him to create a whole bunch of Underlings which most likely means the imps. Then he clogged the land and pipes with oil sludge so ‘[the planet] can barely breath’. This may be a metaphor for choking out the planet but it could also imply that the planet is alive in someway. Those ‘terrible guys’ turn out to be the Agents, likely guys like Jack, who only became more active ‘when the Heir showed up’. For the Consorts this was only very recently which falls in line with Johns arrival to the Medium and LOWAS. The spell can only be broken when ‘...The Slumbering One is awoken and slain. Then the Breeze will again flow through the pipes…’ freeing the fireflies. So now we have an objective for John to work towards.
Lastly, before we get to the big point, Nanna says ‘Amphibious and reptilian life forms play a special roll in you quest’. This comes after John speaks to a Consort about a broken Cherished Idol which is a statue of a frog. In one of the Pyxis you can actually find a frog labeled ILLEGAL CONTRABAND so the frogs weve seen on Jades island are probably more than just a weird choice. Theres something bigger going on besides ‘really hat[ing] frogs’.
Now the big point. One of the Consorts says ‘Often, wind skims the voids of the Pipes, as if grazing the hollow of a cut reed, or say, a plundered Parcel Pyxis.’ Where have we heard that before? ‘Wind skims the voids keeping neighbors apart, as if grazing the hollow of a cut reed, or say, a plundered mailbox.’ (page 82) There is a Very deep connection here that only gets more interesting. The Consort says ‘It is a lovely sound and brings back fond memories of my childhood.’ while on page 82 it follows with ‘A familiar note is produced. It's the one Desolation plays to keep its instrument in tune.’ Im unclear the exact nature of the connection but just speculating I no longer think that the Wind is Desolation. Instead, keeping in mind desolation is “a state of complete emptiness or destruction”, the note played by the wind used by Desolation is nostalgia. While those memories can be looked at fondly, there is sometimes a sense of loss associated with those memories for simpler times. Desolation is not what we should focus on, though we cant forget it completely, rather we should approach this with focus on the Wind and Breeze and how it will affect and change John especially as the Heir. On another note, the imagery conveyed by talking of Pipes and Breezes reminds me a lot of a pipe organ. Pipe organs work by “driving pressurized air (called wind (!!!)) through the organ pipes” (Wikipedia). Is this Desolations Instrument? And what will this mean for John?
As a final note, there is a spot where you can use the telescope to view Johns home from the planet. This confuses John because isnt he meant to climb the gates? Nanna says ‘to ascend, each time you must first descend’. And something clicked. Each kid at some point descends. John and Rose from their rooms to the ground floor. Dave after hes pushed down the stairs. Jade to the island proper. And each time after they ascend again. John to each platform and eventually the gate. Dave back to the roof to strife with Bro. Rose to the rooftop to enter the Medium. Jade to the entrance of the frog statue.
To Ascend, each time you Must First Descend.
