I doubt season 2 will get to the Grim Reaper arc (they have the clock keepers and picture-perfect to tackle first) but if it does I HOPE they don't skip chapter 59 to 'get to the action faster'

We got the intro to Teru and Akane's dynamic in this chapter, which is very important considering they play a big role in later arcs

Showing how their dynamic slowly changes wouldn't be effective without exploring how it used to be.

And we have a ton of instances in this chapter that show Aoi loves/pays a lot of attention to Akane.

Which is VERY important to show that 1 - Aoi is a genuinely sweet girl. The drug will put her uglier sides on display but she does still have a kind heart, is not 100% a mask like Aoi claims it is 2 - Half of the arc is about Akane and Aoi, please don't take away the very few set up this duo have T-T I am begging you anime.
