she couldn't help but huff out a laugh. "well then... what are you expecting, matt? we can't argue, we can't talk. what can we do?
Tumblr media
"i'm over trying to fix things at this point, honestly." he spoke, truthfully. matt didn't get frustrated easily, but he felt like he was good at communicating — it was just never enough. "there's nothing left for me to say that i haven't already said."

So like, forever ago (over half a year ago), I was working on updated queer and neurodivergence headcanons (updating the first two drawings and making two more), but then never posted them because I never finished the fourth drawing, and TOH also stopped being my fixation and I stopped making stuff for it-
Just figured I'll post these as they are, ft. a third of the final drawing, since that's all I ever completed.
HC list under cut for anyone curious what all the flags are, plus some additional info at the end that isn't in the drawings.
[First image]
Luz: transmasc genderfluid; bi; she/they/he; ADHD.
Amity: trans; lesbian; she/her; autistic.
Gus: aceflux, bi; he/him; autistic & ADHD.
Willow: oriented aroace, abro (pan-lesbian); she/her; autistic.
Vee: demigirl; pan; she/they.
Masha: non-binary; trixen; they/them.
[Second image]
Emira: omnisexual, aromantic; she/her.
Edric: angled aroace, bi; he/him; ADHD.
Skara: sapphic; she/her.
Viney: transfem demigirl; neptunic; she/they.
Boscha: pan; she/her.
Matt: acespec, achillean; he/him.
[Third image]
Steve: trans; gray aroace, uranic; he/him.
Amber: lesbian; she/her.
Derwin: aroace; he/him.
Katya: aego aroace; she/her.
Raine: transmasc non-binary; trixen bi; they/them; autistic.
Lilith: trans; aroace; she/her; autistic.
[Fourth image]
Alador: pan; he/him; autistic.
Darius: genderqueer; toren poly; he/him.
Additionally, I headcanon Willow as ambiamorous, aka fine with both monogamous and polyamorous (non-romantic) partnerships; and I also headcanon her as romance-averse.
And I headcanon Lilith as non-partnering, aka not interested in any kind of partnerships, including non-romantic ones.

this is such a random self indulgent au you have no idea. so me and @a-model-of-propriety were talking and i came up with a crack au with toh. it started with hunter working at McDonalds and belos being his manager and eda is the manager over the local Wendys food. the plot is basically instead of the day of unity belos really just wants to set the local wendy’s on fire so that they don’t have competition.
look here’s where everyone lies with the other place:
McDonalds actually probably chick fil a because wendy’s also has good chicken
the collector-corperate’s child
belos-manager over the managersm
kikimora-manager
lillith-manager (hates her life and constantly tries to get at eda)
hunter-is trying to be the best like no one ever was. works way too much they have to force hunter on breaks
raine-baby wants to work at a music shop, but they don’t pay as much for the people just starting and they need this job. is in an orchestra on the side though!
darius-manager, makes sure hunter goes on breaks. won’t take anyone’s crap. will yell at the karens and if anyone touches raine darius will have some words for them.
eburr-there for the lols suprisingly good at holding down the register by themselves, very efficient. wins employee of the month everytime.
wendy’s
eda-wants to get even with lillith and the employee appreciation shirts are the bad girl coven shirts.
king-mascot, but hates most children. not allowed within 10 ft of children at work.
luz-just happy to work with such awesome people :). secretly wants to set the mcdonalds or chick fil a on fire.
gus-openly wants to committ arson, but really good with the kids and the guests in general.
matt-has to have this job. won’t admit that he is actually making friends, but he’s happy there especially with someone 👀
edric-gets fired after setting the frostee machine on fire.
emira-left the frostee machine for one minute to go to the bathroom. on thin ice, but didn’t get fired.
cookie place
amity-literally hates how stressful and understaffed they are. for the most part chill with her coworkers, but sometimes her and boscha butt heads. overworks herself to earn lots of extra cash.
boscha- likes working there until a certain human ruins something so they have to remake a 150 cookie order in an hour.
bo-there for the vibes because she doesn’t like chicken
skara-just got the job for the aesthetic and the free cookies.
moon girl-actually really talented at decorating and making the cookies into beautiful window displays.
there are more character and things for this, but i wanted to get this crack au out of the way. and yes there actually is a plot and no i don’t know how i managed to create a plot out of this. and yes i do have designs for the characters already. i probably won’t have digital for a while, but you know it’ll be great.

FYI, Dropout just posted Um Actually: D&D All Stars ft Gus Sorola, Amy Vorpahl, and Matt Mercer on YouTube a few days ago, and while there hasn't yet been quite the same mic drop as Matt pointing out every problem in a few panels of combat he does apparently know a lot about Drizz't's scimitars.

AH ChitChat Notes 3 22 21
Chitchat 32221 with Jeremy , michael and matt ft disembodied voices of lindsay and maybe kaden , gus in chat and joins
Jeremy: Kaden spoke up because of donuts earlier… Michael: Jacks time is over now… but he will be on stream later. Jeremy: oh yeah schedule. Slight last minute changes doing Fall Guys first cuz S4 came out… me michael  lindsay and matt did a letsplay in it earlier today … gus will be doing fall guys this stream (eyyy)... oh yeah and i wanna impersonate what jack does. Matt: do it. Jeremy: and if you're watching on the site we can see your chat like FatHippoHippo wrote BET in all capitals … yeah i just wanted to get into the spirit and be like “what would jack do, what would he think is funny” and that was it. Lindsay: alsoone of those WWJD bracelets from the 90s What Would Jack Do… (matt: ive repurposed them) Jeremy: so how are you doing? Lindsay: good weekend i guess , just telling Matt we watched Big Hero 6 yesterday (Jeremy: aw hell yell) still an awesome movie , kids loved it. Jeremy: where they scared of - idk if he has a name the kabuki villain… *looking it up* apparently its Yokai… guess they never really say it cuz that's generic. Lindsay: that's VERY generic. Michael: IVE GOT TO TAKE THIS CALL *facecam becomes void* Jeremy: ok spoiler alert for Big Hero 6 but just looking at the wiki… it makes an audacious claim. It says “professor robert calahan OR ALSO BETTER KNOW as his villain name Yokai”... is it? Lindsay: well its based on a comic right so i guess canonically he has a name…. But to answer your question No they werent scared … anyway something we noticed upon rewatching is that 2 characters before a MAJOR event happens to the fistbump… but DON'T do the explosion… like oooohhh foreshadowing. Michael: not really foreshadowing if they keep doing it throughout the movie , if anything its foreshadowing that like… hell… whats the robots name - baymax learning it… not really foreshadowing the building explodes (gen notes MAJOR EVENT) … what blew my mind was that movie has a post credits scene. Jeremy: oh yeah was it like with the dudes father. Michael: Fred yeah! Remember remarking upon them entering the house theres a portrait of the dad and i just went “his dads just Stan Lee… just a portrait of him” Post credits scene and guys talking to painting and - wasn't paying attention but he like hits his head on it and the wall opens up to show a superhero room with paraphernalia everywhere and Stan Lee walks in like “son we got a lot to talk about” Jeremy: Chat asking about if i watched the wrestling PayPerView… remember how i updated you last that the guy died in the ring after being set on fire (Michael: lemme guess hes a zombie now) - yep exactly last night a hand reached up and grabbed someones leg , he came out of the smoke with a melted messed up mask so yeah…. Hes a furry (i think?) zombie clown Michael: hey wait a minute let me read the chat , someone named Gus said “whoa no idea there was a post credit scene”  “what is a fastfood restaurant combo wish would open” Lindsay: Miss my KenTaco Hutt… Michael: idk im usually just in the mood for SOMETHING , not looking to combine , only time is when i want a certain food and they don't have the same sides i want other places have . like Sonic is amazing for sides , apps and drinks… don't care for entrees , but if i could get Sonic sides at McDonalds or Taco bell or something.. Jeremy: guess in the same vein id combine Dairy Queen with a lot of places (Matt: i was about to say) to get a BLIZZARD with whatever. Matt: that's how it usually goes anyway , you get the food , you drive by the Dairy Queen and get a desert - you don't get the food at Dairy Queen cuz why - just why Lindsay: i mean theres icecream but there isnt really fastfood places for other deserts… like theres not really a Cake or Cupcake place (Matt: not yet *tilts head at camera like “you know what i want”* ) there IS the cupcake ATM Matt: alright checking the google… Michael: Matts checking the driving distance. Jeremy: another questions whil matts looking up cakes (Matt: oh i already have it) nevermind then. Conware asks “what is your fave controller for console and whats fave controller you own” Jeremy: Idk really… i know for a while everyones was the Elite 2 Michael: yeah just most comfortable. Matt: well that's like a specialty type… if its a stock one then the switch pro controller is pretty good. Michael: i mean i also have this 8Bit do SNES bluetooth controller thing , love it Lindsay: i love the nintendo switch controller grip… makes it feel like it curves comfy around your palms Jeremy: the XBOX sea of thieves one is great (Matt: i was about to say…) got a glow in the dark skull in the middle , RT is like a gold tooth , is partly see through Matt: and it comes with some exclusive stuff for Sea of Thieves Lindsay: yeah like Motion Sickness. Matt: i got one that's just a donut. Lindsay: gave me an idea… you know how theres Pez Dispensers (matt: heard of them) yeah and how you don't really even use them right you just eat the candy and play with the thing  ( *matt nods approvingly* yeah about right) what if we invent a controller where every once in a while it opens up to give a snack. (Matt: yeah like everytime you get an achievement, Jeremy: yeah i did good! Just go up to the controller and eat it) “You Are Good Boy” Matt: be funnier if it just throws at you “everyone have a fave seasons and followup do you like seasons where you grew up or where you are now?” Jeremy: i mean springs probably my fave its easy to be outside , not boiling hot nor snow everywhere… great time to camp and fish , falls cool with changing colors… texas is like “do you want REALLY hot or hot?”  Michael: i do really like Fall on the East Coast but its like - yeah i miss it and its nice to be there when it happens where its light jacket weather. I used to wear sweatshirts all the time - i don't bother with long sleeves in texas cuz i know im taking it off within 30 min…  never knew about the Water Cup thing until i lived in texas where restaurants just HAVE water cups… blew my mind its free  - because people will drop dead . noticed they just have this seperate stack of clear cups which is i guess like “i BETTER not see any soda in that cup THAT'S  A WATER CUP!”. I don't like it when its 105 degrees but i do like being able to just wear Tshirts most of the year and not dealing with snow Lindsay: i like Fall the most cuz like its blend of i guess i embrace the basic bitch stereo types of fall , want my pumpkin spice latee but ALSO i know halloween is coming and ive said before how THAT'S like my religious holiday so like… i come alive. Matt: probably fall , maybe winter. I don't go out much but fall is like the right amount of cool but not TOO cool. Jeremy: over the weekend me and kat went to a town called rockfort (i think?) which is like right on the ocean , the weather was a little cold for it , like 50 maybe and the sea breeze made it chillier… im not really a beach person just more water. You say beach and you think  like Boogie Boarding Bros (Michael: whoooaah boogie. Lindsay: beach volleyball) yeah .. id reather be on a rocky shore than a sandy beach. Michael: youd rather be like a mermaid sitting on the rocks *jeremy laughs loud* is that what you're saying Jeremy: yeah Matt: attracting sailors to their DOOM Lindsay: i gotta send you a link but theres this one TikTokker i guess that i watch that talks about that an eastern european beach she went to and was like “i cant wait to go on my beach outting yeah!” and she gets there its rocky , really windy , noones there and goes “ooh its really cold” Matt: depends the kind of beach to me… for me East Coast beaches SUCK *jeremy nods yep* its water you cant see anything in its terrible Lindsay: that's also texas beaches , all brown. Matt: its just one of those things where you get in the water and your like “ok… at anymoment i could be attacked by everything around me”  Michael: well that can happen on land too matt (Gen Notes WELCOHME TA JOISEY!!!) (paraphrasing jeremy here) Jeremy: theres this guy who flys a drone out over beaches into the ocean , and he released the footage… apparently due to there being a lot less people now theres just Great White Sharks that go relatively close to beaches now… there are times where hes filming people playing and like 10 ft away is a fucking shark ya know just swimming. And cuz they're really far away hed be like “id see it , film it , then go to a lifeguard and show it like “oh btw…” “ Michael: so you know 2 hours ago someone may have been eaten. MattL he should put a speaker on the drone to like announce the sharks like HEY! DEATH OUT THERE!. Lindsay: “whats that Dronie? Theres a shark in the water?!?” Jeremy: and it was funny seeing that behavior where everyonce and a while a shark would be swimming then someone would do something near it not seeing the shark and the shark just goes “fuck dat” and swims away MattL god dude…. So close to death *gus joins* Lindsay: oh you're the guy who was like Texas beaches have Tar Gus: oh yeah i grew up in texas and i thought all beaches were like that just “oh you don't sit on the tar”

Tumblr media
youtube
04) God Within - Raincry (Rabbit In The Moon's Ascension Mix & Vance Mushgroove Remix) 2013 & 2003 ahogy már szó volt róla, az eredeti változata ennek is megtalálható a fenti northernen, és az is 28 éves. hogy-hogynem, a vance remix pedig a második felvétel a már szintén emlegetett phil k ausztráliai break mixén, így aztán körbeértünk. a jellegzetes hangminta egy hans zimmer filmzene, ami az egyedül a ringben című filmhez készült, és aminek tulajdonképpen újragyúrása a későbbi oroszlánkirály munkája, amivel meg is nyerte az oszkárt. god within pedig scott hardkiss fedőneve, aki egyike volt a kultikus hardkiss tesóknak, csak sajnos 2013-ban távozott közülünk - emlékére, és árván maradt kislányának megsegítésére készített egy gyönyörű búcsúremixet a holdon lévő nyuszi.
05) Momu - Donner Pass 2003
06) Chakra - I Am (Wreckled Angle Remix) 2003
a kilencvenes években rengeteg borzasztó trance pop produkció folyt mindenhonnan, ezek között bújkált az egyébként space brothers, lustral, ascension, essence, force majeure, meg a jóég tudja milyen néven is nyomuló producerpáros, simmonds & jones. az különböztette meg őket a többiektől, hogy egész jó szövegekkel egész jó dalokat írtak, amiket egész jó énekesekkel énekeltették fel, és a végeredményt egész jó remixereknek adták oda. ebből rengeteg klassszikus született, az egyikről itt is lesz majd később szó. bár nagyon a határán billeg a vállalhatatlanul nyálas szövegeknek, nekem mégis egyike a múlt bűnös élvezetének, több dalukat is kimondottan kedveltem (pl home, broken, everytime), és ez az i am is lehetne akár egy palya bea dal is ha úgy nézzük (vagy akár egy gnoszticista ima). vaciláltam ennek a lemeznek a b oldala meg eközött, a kasey tayloros óceános változat békésebb, sok szempontból jobban illett volna ide, viszont a wreckledes változatnál ez a repülős trance szőnyeg a refrénnél, olyan nosztalgia bomba, hogy nem lehetett neki ellenálni.
07) Lostep - The Roots (feat Lior Attar) 2002
youtube
09) Lost Tribe - Under The Red Sea 1996
10) Furry Phreaks - Soothe ft Terra Deva (Chicane's Cyanide Ride) 1996 íme a sokat emlegetett meghatározó mikszek legmeghatározóbbika; főleg az eleje, úristen, hát én ezzel keltem, feküdtem:
youtube
11) Lustral - Everytime (Way Out West's Sunrise Remix) 1999
a kétezres évek elején még gondolkozás nélkül tudtam volna válaszolni arra a bárgyú randikérdésre, hogy 'és neked mi a kedvenc számod?' ez lett volna annó az everytime: egy tökéletes popdal, amivel majdnem mindent meg lehet csinálni, tengerparton ringatózóstól, a vonósokkal még szentimentálisabbra tolt verzión keresztül a hipnotikus törzsi táncoláson át a boldogan repülős tranceig, sőt még az is belefér, hogy kihagyják belőle a vokált. sajnos később egyre több és több kiadáson keresztül egyre több és több bőrt húztak le róla, eddig majdnem ötven (!) verzió jelent már meg valamilyen formában, és még mindig nem hagyják békén. cserébe az egyik legjobb változat már az elején (96!) megjelent red jerry megoldás (ami kapott egy borzasztó videót is), aminek a tökélyre csiszolt továbbfejlesztése ez a way out west remix. ezt a lustral - way out west együttállást megismételték pár évvel később, ez volt a broken, ami nagyon hasonló az everytimehez, viszont pont ezért majdnem olyan jó. apropó way out west; a duó egyik fele az a nick warren, akit annak idején istenként tiszteltek itt kishazánkban is, és akik egyébként ennek a progresszív breakbeat dolognak az atyaúristenei voltak annak idején; képesek voltak egyszerre lágy, picit nyálas, de mégis dögös dolgokat csinálni, mint amilyen például a first time ever i saw your face feldolgozásából mintázott ajándék, aminek rajta kéne lennie ezen a mixen is, mert megérdemelné, de sajnos nem így történt.
Tumblr media
13) Miro - By Your Side (Ian Wilke Vocal & Dub) 2002

14) Paragliders - Change Me (Kid Loops Remix) 1998
15) Ashtrax - Kafka 1998
itt megint két szám versengett egymással, és érdekes hogy a kafka most pont azzal a harapós, nyers hangzásával nyert, amit annak idején annyira nem kedveltem benne. nekem ennek a számnak a párja a katcha - touched by gods volt, talán csak a transglobal underground hangminta, meg a kafkában használt kórus hasonlósága miatt, mindenesetre épp hogy csak kimaradt ez a nagyszerű the light remix, ha ezt a mixet tizenöt éve csinálom, tuti fordítva lett volna.
16) BT & Tsunami One - The Hip Hop Phenomenon  1999
18) Space Manoeuvres - Stage One (Space Manoeuvres' Seperation & Total Seperation Mixes) 1998
19) Pole Folder & CP - Dust (Fretwell Remix) 2002
youtube
20) Gus Gus - Purple (Sasha vs The Light's Midnight In Reykjavik Remix) 1998
youtube
22) Alanis Morisette - Your House (Hybrid's Forgive Me Remix) 1999

of course hate is still here and many people don’t live in safe environments to come out or even think about it. whatever you’re feeling is okay and people will always, always be there for you. whether it be in your community or online. if you ever feel scared or need someone to talk to my inbox is always open.  hotlines for help/questions as well: lgbt suicide hotline: 866-488-7386

PLAYLIST: Anti-Pop & Its DIY Superstars
Tumblr media
On the opposite end of the infamous SoundCloud rap landscape, a recent influx of DIY wunderkinds have helped coin a new genre: anti-pop. With a preference for coarse, lo-fi sounds and transparent harmonic progressions, it’s difficult to pigeonhole these artists into any specific genre but their own. They play against the high-fidelity pop music that saturates the airwaves while mastering the latest production software through a myriad of YouTube tutorial videos. Anti-pop is a culture as much as it is a genre. These homemade, internet stars have garnered cult followings with their self-released projects and it’s only a matter of time until they emerge into the mainstream.
We’ve compiled a playlist of 28 songs from some of our favorite anti-pop artists to prepare you for an exciting year ahead. Follow the playlist on Spotify here.

The Doctor’s Papillon
Tumblr media
Papillon : (pap·il·lon) [French pa-pee-yawn] Butterfly
Pairing: Min Yoongi x Reader (Minty) ft. Park Jimin
Summary: A butterfly with freshly sprouted wings makes her way into a foreign land alone. Although her emerald wings are small, she ripples disarray with each flutter. Min Yoongi slowly falls for her feeble beauty and decides to keep this precious papillon for himself. But what happens her wings are coated with poison?
Genre: Angst, Smut, Gang!AU,
Nagoya, Japan
3:18 AM
The scent of the last remaining cherry blossoms clinging to their own lengthy branches drifted into the eventide. The waters of Yamazaki River mimicked the appearance of silk. A bright moon served as the only light source guiding a young woman along the stream.
Her heels landed rhythmically against the pavement. She wore a long, black raincoat with the label VETEMENTS across her back. The locks of her hair melted from her head forming an ash gray to pastel, icy blue gradient. With both her hands in her raincoat pocket, the young girl hummed a sweet tone that eventually lead her to break out into a soft voice.
“. . . Is it true? is it true?You, you…
I’m getting scared
Untrue. . . Untrue. . .
You, you, you…
Always by your side
For me forever
As if you’re getting further away, As if you’ll run away
Scary place, Painful
Just like this
Please stop time . . .
You’re getting further away
I’m longing for you
Scary place, Painful
Butterfly, like a Butterfly . . .
舞うButterfly … Butterflyの様” Dancing butterfly . . .  As a butterfly
As she sang softly to herself, she brought out a pair of bloodstained, black rimmed spectacles from the pocket of her raincoat. Her petite hands gripped the glasses to such an extent, a crack began to form. She wiped the blood across the glass with her thumb and smiled to herself revealing a glint in her light, iridescent eyes.
VVVVT. VVVVT. *bell chime*
Suddenly, a text message interrupts her private lullaby.
[New Message]
3:26 AM
Father Ghilbi: Get ready for departure.
Her lips pursed. It’s time. She quickly dialed a number and stated her location. The girl stopped to look back before proceeding up the steps away from the river. In the distance, a dark, blackened object laid still on the cold pavement. Stemming from it was a pool of crimson blood, trickling across the ground and soon landing into the pristine waters of the Yamazaki River.
The last few cherry blossoms of the season feathered through the wind, landing in a young man’s blood. The woman now nowhere in sight.
Mapu-Gu, Seoul, South Korea
At the same moment in a private club within Seoul, a single blond male seemed to be enjoying the company of many risque ladies along with his brothers. The private room within the club was almost entirely furnished in velvet indigo from the walls to furniture. Smoke from cigars in ashtrays clouded one’s sight whilst the many bottles and glasses of alcohol clouded one’s judgement.
“Yah, Min Yoongi,” a deep, clout voice called out. “Since it’s your last night as an active brother, don’t you think you owe your boss of 8 or so years some sort of commemoration?” The boss’s request hushed the other members of the group, drawing attention to the man in question.
“Ah...Of course, hyung-nim.” The blonde male signaled the exotic stripper off his lap and proceeded forward. Although he addressed the man as hyung-nim, boss, or blood brother, he realized he began to hate it. Hating the fact he called someone younger of higher authority, hating the countless ‘brothers’ he lost over their territorial disputes, slowly despising and realizing the apathy of the countless drug deals, meaningless sex, desire for power, and the fight for status.
Yoongi’s fellow brothers followed him with their eyes as he made his way lethargically across the room. His walk was slow in pace, feet partly dragging along the velvet floors with one hand in his pocket and the other carding through his platinum hair.
Taking a seat next to his boss of nearly 10 years, Yoongi relaxed into the couch and rested his head back against the wall. “So, what would my dear boss like from me this glorious evening?” He asked, cocking one eyebrow up as he rolled his head to look at his brother.
The man smiled wryly at his brother’s attempt of affection revealing deep dimples on both sides of his cheeks. “Oh come on, Yoongi-hyung. You don’t have to act like that. Addressing me as boss, hyung-nim, and what not.” He laughed slightly and leaned forward, placing his elbows on their respective knees.
“Namjoon,” Yoongi called out. “Why do you still do this? The blood brother know ju-” *glass breaks* and muffled arguments carry across the room into Namjoon’s ears.Yoongi sighed out. He was slowly tapping his fingers across his right thigh, a habit he grew into since discovering his love for piano.
The tan skinned man aggressively kicks the table in front of him, occupied with drugs, cash, and alcoholic beverages.
“Everyone. Out. Yoongi. You stay.”
At his command the busy club room emptied out in mere seconds.
“You will be the first member to live as a non active gang member within Bangtan,” Namjoon started as he lit a cigar not once looking at Yoongi once the room left the two brothers in solitude. “Be grateful that you didn’t have to die for us, nor that we kill you off right here and now before you get to attempt this ‘normal’ life you oh so wish for.” Joon’s eyes narrowed as he stared off into the distance.
“You may be my brother by oath, and you always will be, but don’t question my life choices.” Joon’s lips pursed.
Yoongi halted his fingers from ghosting down across his thigh. A small curse escaped his lips.
“Joon.” Yoongi deadpanned. “We can’t live like this forever.” He then stood up and made his way to the table with Namjoon’s eyes trailing him as he slowly drew out a long drag from his cigar. Yoongi stopped in front of the table full of alcohol, grabbed a large crystal Mcallan M Whiskey bottle and poured himself and Joon a glass.
Handing the drink back to his brother, Yoongi announced, “Here is your commemoration, brother.” He downed the glass in one swift motion before Namjoon could even bring the glass to his lips. “I love you, but you know you can’t keep doing this.” With that, Min Yoongi left the private room, making his way past the heavily populated private club and out its doors. With the fresh air hitting his pale face, Yoongi was now no longer part of Bangtan.
4 O’Clock
Incheon International Airport
A private jet made its landing. The inside so luxurious, even the Queen of England would possibly fail to accompany such a scene. Gold outlined the seats, white marble accented the table tops and desk of the grandeur setting.
Stepping out towards the steps that descended onto the runway, a male made his way down. His skin glowed as if it has been kissed by the sun. His eyes a very light viridian blue, unseen in many asians. Blonde hair reflected the bright lights from the plane’s runway mimicking a golden touch by Midas himself.
His black velvet blazer was intricately embroidered with gold tatting. The rounded silk lapels gave contrast to the dominant texture and a certain shine enhancing his majestic presence.
In the distance stood a tall man wearing a maroon suit and a refreshing smile amongst 10 or so other men in black suits behind him. His smile grew wider at the golden blonde haired man making his way towards them.
“Welcome back, boss!” Exclaimed the handsome man in maroon. He met his boss halfway with open arms, gesturing the intimate greeting. “Glad you’re safe, Taehyung.”
Kim Taehyung. Kim. A dominate surname amongst the Korean Peninsula. Carrying the meaning of gold or iron, this man also carried the reputation of Korea’s longest running gang. His family was exceptionally renowned for carrying a mutant gene of light colored blue green eyes.
Taehyung smiled at his right hand man, revealing a wide, box-like smile. “And how is MIDAS holding up, Bogum?”
MIDAS, otherwise known as the gang passed down from generation to generation within his family along with its riches, status, and power.
“...Tae, I hope you enjoyed your vacation. We have a few visitors lurking amongst our turf.”
The boss flashed a suggestive grin, “Let’s go welcome these visitors,” he urged as he took his seat in his matte gray GranTurismo MC Centennial Edition Convertible. Taehyung started his ignition and looked to his right hand man  “Shall we?” He winked over at Bogum and pressed down on the accelerator.
Mapu-Gu, Seoul, South Korea
4:23AM
Club Lux
Some of the the Bangtan brothers shifted their way from the private club into a more public scene. The bass of the music vibrated through the young bloods as the neon lights highlighted their sinful night. Many hands were roaming another’s body, exploring the depths of the other while dancing. Sheen sweat glistened over the visible skin, causing a glow and produced an enticing view.
Many of the brothers let their guards down, enjoying their youth and nightlife. Joon, the head of all these men, simply watched his fellows on the dance floor as he sat with a few higher ranked blood brothers on the second floor VIP section. He sat with his legs crossed with one arm cradling the thin waist of yet another drunken beauty. Her head lazily rested amongst the tanned, toned, and slightly exposed chest of the boss. OH YUM.
Joon was casually drinking his beer when he noticed yet another argument conjuring amongst his men on the dance floor. His eyes narrowed as he took another swig from his beer, still staring intently at the now growing brawl forming dead center of the dance floor. Almost instantly, Namjoon and all the other blood brothers stood at alert.
The golden blonde hair, shone through the dim lighting of the club, capturing all eyes within his presence.
“That fucking wannabe king, Kim Taehyung.” Namjoon gritted as he signaled the brother behind him to go down and scope the chaos unfolding on the first floor.
As if cued, Taehyung lifted his head exposing his smug demeanor and locked eyes with his rival, Namjoon. The two notorious gang leaders stared deep into each other’s eyes for a moment as if time stood still. Neither of the men moved a single inch as chaos engulfed the once spry night club.
Nagoya, Japan
6:14AM
Muffled sounds of the showerhead running filled the entirety of a white studio apartment. Two skylights allowed the morning rays to peak through the serene room. Dust particles float through the sunlight imitating the mystical glister of fairy dust and landing atop the beige cloud-like blankets scrunched on the queen sized bed.
A sudden twist of a knob is heard, shutting down the running water. The same young lady seen peacefully strolling underneath the cherry blossoms takes a step out of her bathroom. She wears a luxurious, pure white bathrobe with her still wet hair. The droplets landing on the wood floor every step of the way as she walks up the stairs beside her bed.
She ran her fingers through her hair, lingering near the ends of her pale blue strands and twirling them around her index finger. Scanning her clothing rack, she grabbed a few articles and pulled out a chrome silver suitcase she kept on the side.
After neatly packing away her clothes and other necessities, the tired girl lazily slipped out of her bathrobe and crawled into the soft comfort of her bed.
9:46AM
A rhythmic knocking is heard outside the young girl’s door of her studio apartment. The girl was slowly stirring awake as the knocking got louder as minutes went by.
“Open up~ I have Starbucks for you!” The voice from the other side of the door exclaims. It was a peculiar male voice that rang through the studio. After registering the voice, the beauty finally awoke rushing to grab a robe and open the door.
“Daddy!” Her voice was almost as sweet as her appearance; Soft but clear as a summer’s day.
“Good morning, honey,” the handsome man whispered against his daughter’s forehead taking her into a warm embrace. “I have my peppermint’s favorite soy latte to start her day!” His daughter’s smile widened after hearing her favorite nickname. The two made their way to a small table in her loft, sitting across from each other.
“What brings you around, pops?” She asked, propping one elbow on the table to rest her chin in. The man leaned across the table to place a small kiss on his daughter’s cheek. “Can’t his father come by to see his sweet angel?” He asked slightly chuckling against her cheeks. She blushed at her “father’s” sweet remark.
To any onlooker, this scene would be like any pair of lovers having a sweet morning considering her so-called father only looked a few years older in appearance. In reality, the two are a father and daughter pair by legality; They were not related by blood.
Ninomiya Kazunari. The single father who adopted a child at the ripe age of 26. A member of Arashi Go (五), the top five investors and richest males in all of Japan. The reasons he adopted a girl seemingly 10 years younger than himself are not known to the public. He was entrusted to care for a 16 year old girl who knew nothing but the brutalities of the world.
The two enjoyed the rest of their hour together catching up on each other’s lives until Nino noticed the luggage at the top of her stairs. He glanced back between the luggage and his daughter. She realizes by the lack of enthusiasm shown previously that her father was beginning to space out from their conversation.
“...and after binge watching it, I finally- … Daddy?” The soft call brought him out from his daze. Her calls for him would draw his attention to her no matter the situation as long as they came from her soft, velvety voice.
“Oh, uh.. Sorry, Minty, I just …” he started as he glanced back at the luggage. “I just noticed something is all.” He gently placed a hand on hers slowly swiping a thumb across her knuckles.
Finally, the name of the petite angel was revealed. Minty. Legal name: Ninomiya Minty. A name befitting her pale skin, dainty physique, bright viridescent eyes, and silver blue ombre hair.
“So, you’re finally being entrusted overseas?” Nino asked attempting to show a supportive smile but still avoiding direct eye contact. You followed his eyes to the direction atop the stairs spotting the chrome luggage you had previously packed. A pang shot through your heart realizing the incoming separation between you and your only loving family member.
“Ah, that..” you began, but the slight lump in your throat began to form and tense up.
Nino finally faced you with another bitter sweet smile on his face.
“He let me know.” Nino sighed. He got up from his seat and bent down kneeling in front of you as you sat still at the small table. He took your delicate hands in his own surrounding it with his warmth.
“Don’t worry about a proper explanation. Actually, don’t even worry about a goodbye or parting.” Tears slowly built up at the words goodbye. Trying hard to blink the tears away you brought your head up avoiding looking down at your father of nearly 10 years.
Nino slowly reached up to cup your right cheek in his hands and guided you to look down into his eyes. Once you delve into his deep brown eyes, drops of tears began to roll down your cheeks. Nino gently brushed the tears away with his thumb but to no avail as you wore your heart along you sleeves.
“I - I just wish I was able to tell you without … without having it to be so rushed,” you croaked through the lump in your throat sniffling for air. Your dear father smiled at the attempt and brought you into his arms into an embrace.
“We all prepared for this, my love. No need to fret over timing, a proper explanation, or anything else. This was to come, and we should be happy you are finally able to fulfill your duties,” he whispered into your hair as you rested your head in the crook of his neck. Nino stroked your hair with such care in attempts to calm you down. All you could do was nod in response as your tears seeped through his white button up.
“I actually came here to ask if it was okay to see my peppermint off safely,” he explained, still brushing his fingers through your hair. You couldn’t talk as you became more emotional after hearing your dear nickname, so you simply nodded again as you gripped tighter onto his shirt.
“Thank you. I love you,” was the last thing he said as he kissed peppered kisses from you right temple, furrowed brows, crinkled nose, tear stained cheeks, and dangerously close to the corner of your lips plump lips.
“Now, it’s time for you to spread your own wings, isn’t?”
