David Keene, Gary Jarmin, Sean Moon & the Second Amendment Foundation
Tumblr media Tumblr media
▲ Pictured:  Alan Gottlieb, pastor and guns rights activist
From an old post from “Don Diligent,” posted May 27, 2020
A recent post on WIOTM takes us to an article about David Keene and his support of the Algerian Military Junta: https://www.algiersherald.com/former-nra-president-david-keene-writes-propaganda-piece-to-prop-up-military-junta/
Oh, how some things never seem to change. Mr. Keene was a close colleague of Gary Jarmin at the American Conservative Union (ACU) in the mid-1970s. Jarmin had been Neil Salonen’s top lieutenant for the Leadership Freedom Foundation (FLF) up until 1974. That year, Bo Hi Pak, apparently ,sent out our dear brother Gary, to work for Mr. Moon in an “underground” capacity with the ACU. 3 years ago I posted about Gary Jarmin and the ACU, plus some of his other connections.
One name that I didn't mention in that 3 year-old post was Alan Gottlieb. Gottlieb worked closely with Jarmin at the ACU. Here’s a partial list of the ACU Board Members as it looked in 1976. Gary Jarmin was the ACU Legislative Director that year:
*M. Stanton Evan (Chairman)
*Thomas S. Winter (Vice Chairman)
*Jameson G. Campaigne, Jr. (Secretary)
*Daniel Joy (Treasurer)
*Rep. Philip Crane (NOTE: 1st U.C. Congressman ever to sit down with Sun Myung Moon. Neil Salonen was present at this meeting)
*Alan Gottlieb
*David A. Keene (NOTE: On Board of Directors of the American Council for World Freedom (ACWF) along with Neil Salonen)
*Stefan Possony (NOTE: On Board of Directors of the American Council for World Freedom (ACWF) along with Neil Salonen)
*Phyllis Schalfly (NOTE: On Board of Directors of the American Council for World Freedom (ACWF) along with Neil Salonen)
*Gary Jarmin - ACU Legistlative Director

So what does all this have to do with Sean & Justin Moon? For those of you that didn’t watch the Freedom Festival last year (sponsored by Kahr Arms), Alan Gottlieb was the keynote speaker. That’s right!…the very same Alan Gottlieb that worked with “undercover Moonie” Gary Jarmin back in the 1970’s! Gottlieb founded the Second Amendment Foundation (SAF) in 1974, which is the exact year that Gary Jarmin went “undercover” for the Moon Organization. Coincidence? You be the judge! Here’s an article that talks about Gottlieb’s participation at Sean & Justin’s event:
https://www.ammoland.com/2019/10/safs-gottlieb-to-deliver-kickoff-speech-at-rod-of-iron-freedom-festival/#axzz6N6IYilDH
Now, as many of you know, Gottlieb is not the only person that has worked with Sean & Justin. Besides Gottlieb, there is Larry Pratt & Oliver North. And all these men, along with Gary Jarmin, have been members of the Council for National Policy. This is a fascist organization, that pulls strings from behind the scenes affecting U.S. Policy. I’m sure you all noticed, that I included this organization in the title of my 3-year-old post. I made my case then, that the Moon Organization had/has close ties with the CNP.
If you’d like to know more about the CNP, here’s a podcaster that can fill you in on a lot of their history:
https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLXKGLoMod2GV6_Wm8hu2mStPHp4_SdiBh
Sean & Justin! Remember! I’m always watching you!
‘til the next,
Don Diligent

Ultimately, know wtf you’re talking about before making some fiction up about a thing, person or place lmao. also tags (which might get cut off heh), cause no: ‘Americans’ are not alone in doing shit like this and yes, I have seen it done in the reverse too lol! And architecture isn’t the only place it’s done, either. A lot of this is cultural assumption: rather than appropriation.. though I’d say it’s right there at the line of it, when people are slapping their own definitions and more in context on there that doesn’t belong. Which yes, Europe does all the time too. Is that really a surprise, when that’s where the majority currently here came from?
so funny when americans make photosets with pictures of normal eastern european buildings and describe them as "melancholy" or "desolate." like my brother that is an apartment complex. my friend Милош lives there.
#other cultures do this too; don't pretend#I think the most ridiculous shit I've seen comes out of victorian houses being assumed as being in europe because#they forget that the country as a nation was founded BY europeans who fled here to escape indentured slavery: and brought that architecture-#WITH them#english: french: and spanish especially#with even more following#I think the weirdest modern idiot myths from outside the country surround guns though#was watching a korean show the other day --based on anime but still--#and one kid in it just plops a supposedly loaded gun onto a diner table#liek bro#no#no that is not how any of that works#unless you're looking to go to prison in under five minutes#SOME states have open carry laws yes#and that's STILL not how those even work#no you can't just walk in & buy a gun like a piece of friggin candy over the counter lmao#even in the least strict states you have to go through a minimum two weeks safety class; which includes operation and get a license-#of which there are several kinds and classes OF license#problem being (and current events touch)#we haven't updated those checks and class reqs in a long time#and the world doesn't take the kinds of mental illness it takes to think walking into a public place and attacking people EVER OR -#even with a knife? Seriously enough to do something about THAT and teh other issues with health care as a whole#Ultimately gun bans are worthless#when mental health and the fact the mentally unwell and crimnials are able to get a hold of ANY weapon to endanger themselves and others#better legistlation; screening and enforcement should be gone after first#because teh question we should be asking is this#why was someone that unstable allowed or enabled to get hold of a weapon? why was their mental health ignored to this point?#why were they allowed into any school especially#and why are our representatives being so lazy about fixing the root of these issues?#why is our health and mental care especially mid-covid still being ignored to put us in this state?

THIS MEMORIAL DAY, how about...
...we don’t celebrate genocidal war mongers and USA-enabling criminals?
...we remember the 419 black youth gunned down in the streets by police officers every single day?
...we remember the countless gay and lesbian folks who were made homeless by Trump’s latest legistlation?
...we remember all the trans and non-binary people who have committed suicide because Trump said “fuck trans, go to hell” at the State of the Union?
...we remember all the PoC children who were not aborted and have been forced into poverty and/or cages by a man who cheated his way to the presidency?
How about we say “fuck off” to the military and start paying attention to those who deserve to be remembered?

Y’know. I’m actually really angry at how this whole school shooting in Florida is being handled. It’s clearly being used to manipulate people for political agendas with people "CALLING FOR ACTION" but none of them have anything but "GET RID OF GUNS" to bring to the table of making schools & communities safer. It doesn’t allow anyone to mourn, be grief-stricken or even send our prayers/condolences. (bc hello, what else are we supposed to do when we’re on the other side of the world & country??? We can’t fly over to help bury the dead, not all of us have money to send to help with funeral arrangements, and guess what, not all of those who want to express condolences are citizens so no voting for new laws either). We’re only allowed to be angry and cry out for “NO MORE GUNS! YES, MORE GUN CONTROL!!!” and that is the script. That is the script EVERYONE is being told (or pidgeon-holed) to follow.
Well, I’ve got news for you people.
1. This horrific act of mass murder happened in a GUN FREE zone (brought about by pro Gun Control legistlation). Which means ALL guns (unless used by law enforcement officers) are illegal on that property.
2. The shooter’s motivation seems to have been revenge after he was expelled from this school for threatening fellow students. He also had a HISTORY of violence, aggression, and possible abuse towards others.
3. The shooter was expelled from the school. This means that he did not graduate and so was 18 or younger when this happened, giving him from the time of his expulsion from school to now to plan his attack. Add to this the fact that the shooter KNEW all of the schools emergency/lockdown routines and planned accordingly, and we have proof that this was ALL PREMEDITATED and not some random act of violence or act of madness. (He INTENTIONALLY lured out students via a fire alarm! That is NOT a sign of MENTAL ILLNESS.)
4. THERE WERE FLAGS, WARNING SIGNS, EVEN TIP OFFS ABOUT THIS GUY AND NEITHER THE FBI NOR LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT DID ANYTHING.
Okay now with all this, I want you to realize a few things.
1. Despite all the shootings and past violence towards schools and students, NONE of them have adopted or put forth any form of protection or security plan against inside and outside threats. These security measures could include:
Bullet-proof/resistant glass for school doors & windows (to prevent outside attacks)
Door braces & Barricades ( When there’s a shooter, doors are braced/barricaded to prevent them entering and killing people.)
Armed & active security guards or staff ( The school’s would-be first responders to acts of violence such as active shooters)
Active surveillance cameras in halls, stairwells, & classrooms to prevent situations like the Florida shooter(to be monitored by security staff)
Knowing that having a security force works for both private and public institutions, it’s ASTONISHING to me that no defensive/preventative security measures have been taken DESPITE the growing frequency of these school shootings.
2. GUNS ARE NOT THE ONLY WEAPONS AVAILABLE FOR MASS MURDERS. Although Guns are a popular method, so are Bombs, some of which are more deadly than others. Just recently a Would-Be shooter was discovered and turned in by his grandmother who discovered his plot to shoot up a school written in detail in his journal. He intended to use a rifle and DIY EXPLOSIVES as his means for murder which means using a gun was not his only way of intended murder. So “banning all guns” is both a waste in stopping crime and a hindrance in defending against it.
3. The ONLY people who obey gun laws are LAW ABIDING CITIZENS. Unless the shooter is taken down by law enforcement (or some heroci citizen, the only people who are hurt or killed in “Gun-Free Zones” are LAW ABIDING CITIZENS. Not only that, but we have NUMEROUS reports and accounts of law-abiding citizens with registered conceal-carry/open-carry licenses who have thwarted shooters, robbers, home invaders, rapists, vandals, arsonists, etc. They are the veritable First Responders when it comes to active shooters, and are known to save lives while law enforcement is still on its way by bringing down and/or holding(incapacitating) the shooter before they can hurt or kill anyone else.
4. CRIMINALS DON’T FOLLOW THE LAW. Murder is against the law. Plotting murder is against the law. Which means these school shooters ARE CRIMINALS. If you honestly think more gun control is going to stop criminals from committing crime, I’ve got 2 words for you: arms smuggling. This means using and moving illegal weapons from one place to another. Yeah, it’s a thing. People who do this include gangs, the drug cartel, common criminals, the mob, the mafia, people who buy & sell stolen goods, etc. It’s not impossible to get a gun illegally so please stop pretending it is.
Bottom line: there’s more to keeping our schools safe than just banning guns. Criminals and people intending on committing crimes will get weapons and the means+methods of murder regardless of if Guns are legal/available or not. However, when blanket gun laws/gun bans go into action, good people get killed because they can’t defend themselves against criminals like the ones mentioned above.
Honestly, there’s a lot to be fixed in our justice system, our school systems, and honestly, our family systems if guys like these seem to think it’s ok or “cool” to shoot up schools and ruin people’s lives.

Threading the Needle to Stop Gun Violence in America: Mom’s Demand Action
Tumblr media
Quilts as a metaphor for justice, and as a conduit for garnering empathy around a cause, continues:
And when is it demonstrably obvious that empathy is what’s lacking? When a country like our can't pass responsible gun legislation because it puts the wants of the few above the safety and justice of others. And the organization Mom's Demand Action isn't standing for it anymore.
One of the organization’s many efforts putting a stop to gun violence in America includes the Mother's Dream Quilt Project, which brings together survivors and loved-ones who have experienced it first hand to create deeply personal testimonies in the form of pieced blocks. Bee's are taking place in states across the country, and the completed quilts are being used to leverage the organization's larger policy-shaping efforts at specific venues.

So much of today’s quilt activism can break your heart; how often the metaphors of the medium are called upon to bring voice to the unconscionable. But this must go on - we must continue piecing the world together through peace and justice. We must bind together what the irresponsible, the ignorant, the greedy, and narcissistic, would otherwise tear open without a second thought for what is right, moral, justice, and kind.
I made a financial contribution to Mom’s Demand Action today. I hope you will consider doing the same, and participate in the quilt project should you or a loved one be a survivor of gun violence.
