Greta Thunberg arrested at Gaza war protest in Copenhagen
Climate activist one of six detained by police after students block university building in Danish capital
Six people had been detained on Wednesday at the University of Copenhagen after 20 people blocked the entrance to a building and three entered, a police spokesperson said. Police declined to confirm the identities of any of those arrested but a spokesperson for the Students Against the Occupation said Thunberg, 21, was one of those held. A picture of Thunberg published by the news outlet Ekstra Bladet showed her wearing what the newspaper said were handcuffs and a black-and-white keffiyeh shawl draped over her shoulders. Thunberg, meanwhile, shared images on Instagram of riot police entering a building where Students Against the Occupation was staging a protest.
[...]
Students Against the Occupation said in a statement posted on Instagram that “while the situation in Palestine only gets worse, the University of Copenhagen continues cooperation with academic institutions in Israel”. “We are occupying [the university’s] central administration with one demand: academic boycott now.”

“4. Greta Thunberg ratios the shit out him” She boasted that she, Greta, has a very small penis. The apes cheering that along either didn’t read what she wrote, or mentally edited it to something better, like people do with Biden. Then she claimed to have had him destroyed. The US Government did order the detainment but there’s no evidence at this time that Greta or her allies did a hit on a perceived enemy of the WEF. "6. There’s a Romanian pizza box in the video which twigs Romanian police of his location” This never happened. He was living in his house, not in hiding. Interestingly I have yet to see a Leftist acknowledge that. Instead, to paraphrase Linkara , who cares if it is true, it is useful. “7. He is raided and arrested for human trafficking” He was detained on suspicion, after a raid with a huge group of press, and there was no evidence shown on camera of anything except that he had cash. Now the claim is that there are witness statements, but you have to wonder why he wasn’t arrested instead, why he wasn’t charged, why didn’t they raid before when he wasn’t hiding, as I said... What really happened here, because the narrative pushed is an ocean away from the reality. Vee had some good videos up about it, but I can’t see them listed. He did mention that criticism of the situation might get him in trouble, and that he was raided by the equivalent of the IRS, probably in retaliation imo. https://www.youtube.com/@TheTrollVtuber/videos So either YT has censored them, or the Romanian government told him that he had a nice house, and it would be a shame if something happened to it. The other alternative is running romanian newspapers through google translate, which is clumsy, but they have actually been pretty fair from what I can see. Whereas CNN was outright lying and I think repeating the pizza box story to boot.
So let me get this straight
1. Elon Musk buys Twitter
2. Elon Musk unbans Andrew Tate
3. Andrew Tate picks a fight with Greta Thunberg
4. Greta Thunberg ratios the shit out him
5. He gets mad and posts a video response
6. There's a Romanian pizza box in the video which twigs Romanian police of his location
7. He is raided and arrested for human trafficking
That is some fabulous fuck-around-find-out shit and a great end to the year.

She's not just talking the talk.
Greta Thunberg is walking the walk.

Climate activist Greta Thunberg has been found guilty by a Swedish court of disobeying a police order at a protest in Malmo last month.
The 20-year-old avoided a potential prison sentence and has been fined. She pleaded not guilty and told the court: "My actions are justifiable," according to the Sydsvenskan newspaper.
Greta was charged because she refused to comply with police orders to leave the scene during the protest, according to Swedish Prosecution Authority spokeswoman Annika Collin and a statement from prosecutors.
When the protestors were ordered to move to allow vehicles to pass, Greta was among those who refused. She was then dragged away by police.
Earlier in the year, the climate activist was briefly detained by police in Oslo during a protest against wind farms built on Indigenous land in Norway. She was also detained during protests against the demolition of the coal village of Luetzerath in Germany in January.

Swedish climate activist Thunberg detained at Brussels protest
Greta Thunberg, known for her campaign against man-made climate change, was detained for blocking a road in the Belgian capital during a protest demanding an end to fossil fuel subsidies.
She was part of a small group of protesters who broke away from a march organised by the United for Climate Justice movement outside the European Parliament yesterday, October 5. The protesters called on the European Union to stop subsidising fossil fuels in order to achieve its ambitious goal of making the continent carbon neutral by 2050.
In an open letter to European Union leaders, climate activists, scientists and economists wrote: “This will not happen without an immediate phase out of fossil fuel subsidies. Until these necessary changes occur, people will continue to take to the streets to make our voices heard and hold you accountable.”
Thunberg, 21, has previously faced detention for civil disobedience at protests in multiple countries. Earlier this week, she participated in a protest in Copenhagen against the war in the Gaza Strip and Israel’s occupation of the West Bank, resulting in her detention. She was later released. Thunberg speaks out in defence of Palestinian interests, especially as the anniversary of the war and crisis in the region approaches.

The Finnish environmental group Elokapina is preparing for another demonstration in Helsinki on Friday, with plans to block a busy highway intersection in the Ruoholahti district.
Friday's demonstration is the second of three protests the group has planned this week, and scheduled to begin at 3pm at the intersection of Porkkalankatu and the Länsiväylä motorway.
Elokapina, the Finnish branch of Extinction Rebellion, held a protest at the same site last year.
The group's first protest this week took place on Tuesday, which included the participation of Swedish environmental activist Greta Thunberg, who joined up to 2,000 other demonstrators in a march into downtown Helsinki, where they blocked rush hour traffic after an event in front of Parliament House.
Thunberg and at least dozens of other protesters were removed from the street and detained by Helsinki police.
According to Elokapina, while Tuesday's protest received widespread media coverage, the protest did not result in their demands being met. The group said it wants a direct answer about why the government spends a large amount of state funds on activities are detrimental to the environment.
Officer suspected of assault at earlier protest
This week's protests are part of Elokapina's ongoing Storm Warning (Myrskyvaroitus in Finnish) campaign, which the group has said it hopes to become the largest series of civil disobedience demonstrations in Finnish history.
A previous Elokapina protest on 11 June blocked rush-hour traffic in the Kaisaniemi district, prompting police to clear demonstrators from the street.
Days after the protest, the Helsinki Police Department announced that it had opened an investigation about the conduct of a police officer during the demonstration, after a video posted on social media appeared to show an officer pushing a climate activist to the ground.
On Thursday, the prosecutor's office announced that it had opened a preliminary investigation into the incident. The prosecutor said the officer was suspected of assault.
The protester was not injured in the incident.
