This is still happening. This was organized. Iranian-funded Arab and Turk gangs hid in alleys to ambush and hunt down Israeli citizens leaving the match. Stabbing, assaulting, running over with cars, lynching. The Dutch police ARE ON VIDEO standing by and letting it happen. Israelis on Oct. 7th who escaped the massacre turned around and went back. They turned around and went back into hell on earth to save others, and they died doing it. And now the Dutch police just stand there and let it happen again, without lifting so much as a finger. This is 1938, and this is the opportunity so many people love to talk about -- how they would absolutely(!) hide a Jew and risk their lives to save them. Well, now's your chance, and at so much less risk to yourselves, to boot. You don't have to hide them. You don't even have to rescue Jews -- Israel is already on the way. But no decent person with a breath of air in their lungs should do anything right now but ask Israel, "how can we help?" This is a filthy stain on Amsterdam. This is a black mark on Europe. There needs to be accountability, and there needs to be justice for this. Justice for these innocents, on these terrorists and on every last Dutch police officer who stood back and watched.
A warning, for free:
Zechariah 2:8
For thus says the Lord of hosts: “He sent Me after glory, to the nations which plunder you [Israel]; for he who touches you touches the apple of His eye."

Reports that some police officers don’t want to be deployed to protect Jewish institutions over moral objections to the violence in Gaza and Lebanon have caused outrage in the Netherlands. The police said it makes space for officers’ moral objections and switches shifts to accommodate for that where possible, but if there is an emergency or urgent situation, police officers respond regardless of their personal feelings. Justice Minister David van Weel and several parliamentarians are very critical.
“During the preparations that were made for the security of the Holocaust Museum, there were colleagues who did not want to be deployed there,” Michiel Theeboom, part of the Jewish Police Network within the national police, told the Telegraaf. “They talk about ‘moral dilemmas,’ and I see a tendency to give in to that.” He called that very concerning and “the beginning of the end.”
Mireille Beentjes, a spokesperson for the police force management, confirmed that there are police officers who object to certain assignments. “There is no strict policy for this. The line is that police officers are allowed to have moral objections,” she told the Telegraaf. “We take moral objections into account when drawing up schedules. But if there is an urgent response, you are simply deployed. Whether you object or not. You have to behave professionally. Others should not notice anything.”
Beentjes said that objections aren’t isolated to Jewish institutions. Officers also have moral objections to being deployed to farmers' protests, climate protests, and the Koran burning by Pegida. “It hurts them when the Koran is burned, but at the same time, they have to protect the people who do it,” she said.

Dutch police disperse pro-Palestinian demonstration
A mobile unit of the Netherlands Police dispersed a pro-Palestinian demonstration at Radboud University Nijmegen.
According to local media, between 30 and 50 students seized part of the first floor of the university building on May 27. The protesters demanded that the university sever its academic ties with Israel. However, the administration demanded that they must leave the building.
Protesters refused to leave, and police began to disperse them. Around midnight, law enforcers broke down the barricades set up by the students and began to take the protesters out into the street. The students could leave the building voluntarily, but some of them, according to the local television, “chained themselves together.”

Pogroms in Amsterdam where jews are thrown into rivers in 5⁰C weather and forced to yell slogans to be allowed out. Where jews are beaten bloody and forced to say they're not Jewish for the beating to stop. Where jews are run over by cars. Where jews are forced to hide in hotels as people who want to lynch them storm in. Where law enforcement does nothing and drives right past jews being hunted in the streets.
The protests didn't cause this, right? The violent rhetoric didn't cause this. The active celebration of a massacre didn't cause this. The constant dehumanization and belittlement of Jewish suffering didn't cause this. The lionization of murderers like Nasrallah and Sinwar didn't cause this. The encampments didn't cause this. The historical revisionism and the complete ignorance about the Holocaust didn't cause this. The apathy towards rising antisemitism didn't cause this. Constant deflections and gaslighting when jews tried to speak out about their fears didn't cause this. Accusations of genocide didn't cause this. Comparisons between jews and nazis didn't cause this. Normalized violence against jews under the guise of antizionism didn't cause this. The appropriation and the downplaying of the Holocaust didn't cause this. ALL OF THIS didn't cause this pogrom in Amsterdam on the eve of the anniversary of Kristallnacht, right?!?
Go fuck yourselves, all of you who participated in any of the above, or ignored us when we told you where it was all headed. WE KNEW YOU WERE GOING TO DO THIS. BECAUSE YOU'VE DONE IT IN EVERY GENERATION AND YOU NEVER LEARN

does "i wont speak without a lawyer present" still apply in other countries besides the us? (specifically the netherlands) or is the 'script' different?
I only know the rules for the Netherlands: We don't have the ridiculous miranda rights song and dance you have to do with the magic phrases to make sure the cops won't argue that you want a lawyer-dog, but otherwise yes. You have the right to be silent, you have the right to speak to a lawyer before your first official interrogation, etc. When you've been arrested never speak to the cops about what happened, why you were there, who you were there with, or anything. They'll try to be chatty and friendly and pretend that they might release you if you explain yourself, but they're just gathering information to fuck you with. Just shut up, or tell them no comment, or say "Ik beroep me op mijn Zwijgrecht" (I'm using my right to be silent). Dont worry, you dont have to attempt to say that in Dutch if you dont speak it. There's a lot of good info on the sites of the Arrestantengroep, made by experienced left-wing activists and lawyers: https://arrestantengroep.org/downloads/ https://arrestantenhandleiding.nl/2023/08/15/rechten-van-arrestanten/

The Dutch government is investigating whether and how warning signs highlighted by Israel were missed in the events leading up to this week’s widespread attacks by local Arab and Muslim gangs on Maccabi Tel Aviv soccer fans in Amsterdam, Justice Minister David van Weel said in a letter to Parliament.
“An investigation is still being conducted on possible warning signs from Israel,” Van Weel said in his letter late on Friday evening.
“The Public Prosecution Service has stated that it aims to apply fast-track justice as much as possible,” van Weel said, adding that it is “the absolute priority” to identify every suspect.
Police on Saturday said four people remained in custody of the 63 people initially detained.
His letter came after he met with newly appointed Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar who traveled to Amsterdam after the attacks to oversee a rescue flight that brought the Israeli fans home.
“[I] emphasized that the Netherlands strongly condemns the violence and that there is no place for hatred and antisemitism,” van Weel said on social media platform X.
Four out of 63 remain in custody? F*** van Weel's "strong" condemnation. GAJ
