I think one thing we don’t give Hal enough credit for during the scene in Justice League: War where Batman takes his ring is that, up until Bruce said something, Hal kept his uniform/construct up through sheer will, even without being physically connected to his ring. It was only when he realized that his concentration had been broken somehow by Bruce that the uniform dropped. Which is even more curious when you think about the implications of the ring itself not registering Bruce as a break in concentration, much less a threat.

that scene from Justice League: War where GL and Batman are in the sewers is so incredibly gay, the sexual tension B’s smirks gosh I know GL hates him there but it makes it all the better “you weren’t concentrating” and the shit eating grin then GL “lets rubba spooky” then oh the best part the wall slam B’s eyes widening and the Shhh while holding GL’s shoulder the only thing I would love to see in this scene is if B put his finger to GL’s lips and didn’t shush him, just stayed silent then turning his head to look at the noise after they lock eyes for a second, Green Lantern dumbassery, B pushing him out of the way to look at the alien tech and keeps touching his chest, the jealous “oh you met the super powered guy?” then the oh his super powers won’t be a problem for me and his cutesy little hands on his hips proud to show off like pff I’m strong pay attention to me also that shit in the beginning where he’s like are you not a vampire and commenting on his apparent super strength oh he wants to be manhandled snd bitten, marked even by the mysterious stranger in the black cape, the confused and almost disappointed ask “Wait, you’re not just some guy in a bat costume are ya?” and his little eye brow scrunch so gay

I love the Batfamily but we need more Lantern Family. It has so much comedic potential.

Hal Jordan is the overly-involved but well meaning middle sibling who keeps the family together; he’s kept in check by John Strewert, the fam’s permanently exasperated big brother who is always scrambling to come up with excuses for Oa about all the shenanigans the Lanterns get up to in Sector 2814.

Jessica Cruz is the Gay Wine Aunt. She is often seen lamenting her love life to Simon Baz, the Gay Wine Uncle.

Kyle Rayner is the Shy Artistic Baby of the fam that is doted on constantly. Alan Scott, the retired ex-military grandpa who spends his days carving wood and giving good life lessons, has taken Kyle under his wing and is training him.

Guy Gardener is the weird, loud, Republican cousin who is somehow always around. He’s super annoying but he’s also funny; he’s also lives in the attic.

And Jo Mullein brings the happy-go-lucky sister vibes, which is a big contrast to Kyle’s reservedness. She usually gets the two of them into lots of trouble and it’s up to the older Lanterns to save them.

Ugh. Give me some Lantfam. Please.

The Batfam is waging a prank war with the JL (who is unaware of this). This leads to incidents including but not limited to:

Bruce using his Brucie persona during a meeting.

All the Batkids wearing the cowl at some point, sometimes even switching in the middle of the watchtower. (The Leaguers are very worried when Batman is suddenly only half as tall as he's supposed to be, only topped by Babs' turn, which she uses to educate them on accessibility and the issue of people infantilizing disabled people.)

Alfred as Robin.

Bruce rotating through all his colourful costumes, starting with the entirely pink one.

The Batkids stealthily following Batman with a speaker playing the Batman theme on loop.

Tim as Caroline Hill waltzing into the watchtower, doing something, and leaving before anyone has gotten past the confusion. Nobody figures out what she did, the only reason they're not taking the whole watchtower apart and try to find her is because Red Robin says he got it. (He didn't do anything, it was purely for show.)

Batman walking around with his cape wrapped tightly aroudn himself. When he reaches for something a veritable flood of cackling gremlins spills out and immediately disappears in the nooks and crannies of the tower. Batman yells about a containment breach. The cackling continues the whole day.

Dick, Babs and Tim setting all monitors to speedster speed only when the Flash is around. They somehow manage to only have him around other people in rooms without monitors and convince him that he's lost his speed.

Stealing the Lanterns' rings on multiple occasions. It's a game at this point. They reward speed, creativity, number of stolen rings and how many people are around and don't notice.

He's one of those old world/old money vampires from a bloodline that's old and powerful enough, you can't tell he's a vampire at all. He's got impeccable self control and only needs to feed after expanding a ton of energy unexpectedly. His parents kept their status a secret in order to get along with humans and avoid persecution. You could bleed right in front of him and he wouldn't even blink. The same bloodline made it easier for Thomas to be a doctor and be around bleeding humans as well. Nobody ever assumes Batman is a vampire because he doesn't act anything like one, either in Gotham's shadows or with the Justice League. He just seems like a very weird and occasionally creepy human.
