All right so I haven't been active in the Julie and the Phantoms fandom in a long time, and although I know there are definitely still people creating and reblogging in the fandom it tends to be a much smaller handful of people than it used to, which for me felt disheartening and was part of why I've backed off from it. I'd love to see new stuff more regularly and start recirculating older things just to remind myself and anyone else who needs it how much I love this silly little show.

All this to say, I am putting out feelers to see if anyone is interested in a blog that runs consistent, casual event-type things for the fandom to try and revitalize interest in jatp fanworks, like featured weeks for individual characters here, fic rec events, etc. I'm toying with ideas to inspire people to pick up their wips, spark new stories, and highlight older content that didn’t get much attention or would just be nice to see again. I’d like to create a community space to liven the fandom back up for people who miss the show or got into the fandom after the hype died down. Does that seem interesting to anyone?

Things that I saw today at the ballgame.

Aaron Judge hit a 2 run double and a 2 run single!!

Juan Soto hit his 200th homer of his career and now has hit a home run in every ballpark in the country!!

Austin Wells hit a bases clearing double!!

Oswaldo Cabrera got another RBI!!

Jasson Dominguez hit a home run!!

Luis Gil and Marcus Stroman both pitched very well. Each one only gave up one run. They did a great job today!!

I had a fantastic time!!! I passed out little gavels to the Yankees fans sitting near me, and we all ruled on the plays of the game. It was a blast!! 😁😍 I wish that I could go to the next 2 games being played in Seattle, but alas and alack, I can not. At least, they will be on my TV so I don't have to watch the games on my phone. It's been a great day!! 😁 I'm so happy that the one game that it got to see in person was a spectacular game for my team. The only things that could've made this game and day better were if Giancarlo Stanton and Anthony Volpe had played. I am still very happy and thankful for the great experience that I had watching this game. I will be smiling for days!! 😁 Let's go Yankees!!!!!

Please imagine Umemiya Hajime who's good at camping. He's well prepared and can start a fire in seconds if necessary. (Not to mention him chopping wood?) But also imagine the knots he can tie when putting the tent up. His fingers deftly looping and pulling around the stakes before he tightens them. He'll teach you what different ones are good for, but every time he has you try to do it, you come up blank, unable to tie the simplest thing. It takes the third time of him showing you before he realizes the dreamy look in your eyes isn't one of concentration to learn. But really, who could blame you when he explains it so patiently in that sweet low rumble that he uses when he's alone with you in close proximity. When occasionally he'll grab your hands in his to physically show you how the knots tie, and you can feel the callouses on his palms grazing your skin.
