Cradle-to-Cradle: Reflection So excited to post my very first piece for Invisobang 2024! Big shout out to my author WillaKK for writing a story that mixes two of my favorite things together (Danny Phantom and vampires!) and fellow artist EyesofCrows who inspired and challenged me to do a pixel art piece for this event. I had so much fun working on this with them and hope you all check the story out!

A drop of sweat trails down the back of Dash's neck as the hallway temperature rises all at once. He lets go of Fenton's shirt and takes a step back, no longer sure he wants to mess with the new kid.

Danny is being very good at blending in and being a very normal human teen is my fave :)))

I don't think it's obvious on the original size, but Danny still has blue eyes but with green glows on top of it

Also give him some claws :3c couldn't really show fangs on that pose so claws it is uwu

 Vlad floated upwards as he shifted to Plasmius, until he was towering over Danny. He leaned down, his face close to Danny’s ear and spoke in a taunting whisper. “You heard what your mother said about me. Do you want her to say those things about you?” Danny’s fists were trembling and his eyes were wide and glowing.  No. No, she wouldn’t.

My partner was AsthmaticBookwyrm, and they wrote this fantastic part for their story for @invisobang You can read it here at the link below!

Another year another invisobang! I was so stoked to be paired up with summerssixecho and sillysugargliders for this year's bang, and decided to create 1-2 illustrations for each chapter of Summer's fic Impossible Creatures.

Summary:

When Dani ends up asking Valerie for a place to stay, Val wasn't expecting to uncover more questions than answers about who this half-ghost girl is or where she really came from.

Thank you to the mods for another awesome event, and thank you to my partners for being awesome to work with!! Its been a blast~ :3c

The countdown to Invisobang 2025 begins! For those of you who don't know, Invisobang is a collaborative event for authors and artists. Over the course of several months, authors write fanfics and artists create art for those fics!

If you want to connect with other creators in the Phandom, this is the event for you!

How does it work?

Authors begin writing as soon as they sign up. Their goal is to write a fic with 5000 words minimum, although there is no maximum. Halfway through the event, they anonymously submit a profile of their fic.

Using these profiles, artists pick the fics that interest them the most and submit a claim. Mods will pair up authors and artists based on these claims.

During the second half of the event, authors finish their stories while artists make their art.

At the end of the event, participants share their work during posting week to create a big bang of content for everyone to ooh and aah at!

When is it, and how do I sign up?

Invisobang runs from February 14 to September 7. Author and artist sign-ups are staggered, while beta sign-ups are open for the first half of the event. You can sign up through a Google Form that will be posted with the opening announcement.

Authors: February 14–March 15

Beta readers: February 14–June 15

Artists and pinch hitters: May 16–June 15

Anything else I need to know?

The event is hosted through the Invisobang Discord. Participants must have a Discord account and be willing to join.

Co-authors can sign up in teams.

Artists must be able to make visual art or music, although you can make alternative art if your author is interested.

All content must be made new for the event, which means no continuing posted wips. Sequels and prequels to existing works are allowed, as well as ideas you’ve had sitting on the back burner (as long as they haven’t been posted before)
