I did it!! God only knows how, but spurred by this post I have managed to re-read the first 4 Stormlight books and Edgedancer in time for Stormlight 5. Thank god for audiobooks!

I've even got time to squeeze in reading something else as a pallet cleanser before the big day

Lmao of course Lift, and probably the Mink, are spying on Dalinar and Navani's jaunt into the Spiritual Realm. Anyway, I'm really getting the feeling that something spectacular is going to happen and all the people involved (Dalinar, Navani, Wit, Lift, the Mink, Shallan, Renarin, Rlain, various guards and/or infiltrators, and their spren) are gonna get...idk what. Affected somehow. Let's find out how this goes wrong!

White with gold trim is a cool color choice, but I'm pretty sure those are Odium's colors. With red just being a signifier of a Shard co-opting another's Investiture.

So I'm split between this just being foreshadowing for Odium winning and turning Rosharan's loose on the Cosmere as his army, or if some of these guys are somehow already under his sway.
