The creator of the 2007 Flatland film, Ladd Ehlinger, is an infamously racist and misognyistic conservative. He runs a conservative talk show on youtube. He made a political add for Republicans that was so blatantly racist and misogynistic that the Republicans literally had to dissavow him for it.

He has compared taxes paying for lunches for poor school kids to literal slavery.

He thinks Black people are all violent criminals who would run around murdering White women in the street if we didn’t jail them are disproportionate rate.

He thinks that if you respect a trans kid’s pronouns it means you’re a pedophile and should be thrown in jail for it.

If you care about minorities at all, stop making fanart for his film. Read the original book or watch any of the other adaptations not made by raging bigots who get their money and attention from youtube.
