Monster falls, in 2024? More likely than you'd think

This is my own portrayal of this au. All the Pines and the townspeople were born as monsters. In this version of the au, they have special amulets or accessories that can hide them being monsters. Gravity Falls being a safe space for monsters due to a barrier blocking out humans.

Bill portrayed himself as a humble researcher wanting to look into the oddities of creatures, much like Ford is in Canon, but is hiding the fact he would much rather keep monsters as trophies.

Ford unknowingly, years ago, gave Bill the location to the safe haven and was gone for 30 years trying to locate a new one while being chased down by Bill's henchmen.

In this case, Bill's henchmen are collectors/hunters as well ^^

just thinking of how ford and stan were both being in denial; that they refuse to understand that the other has reached their lowest point.

stan never thought for a second that ford will be unsuccessful. accepting the sleepless broken crazy man in front of him is his genius brother ford would be accepting the fact that stan being disowned and homeless for a decade with no one to help him was all for nothing.

ford never believed that stan will not get by. seeing his sales ads on the television angered him; he was angry by the idea that the cost for stan’s success was his failure. he wanted his anger to be justified to the point he becomes blind to the hollow husk of a brother he has now.

when you stare at the abyss, the abyss stares back.
