If Rise fans and 2012 haters are allowed to fixate on tiny insignifigant details to insist the entire 2012 fam are evil disfunctional monsters,
Then im allowed to fixate on little details like The boys Trusting andExpecting Mikey to make Breakfast and therefore the idea that Mikey is at least a Decent cook, who just also makes a lot of weird stuff he personally likes. As person with a couple weird snack tastes myself i will not be swayed.
Also i will not give up Mikey liking to draw co.ic strips from the 2012 adventures comics.
You are free to try and fight me except not really. I do not accept criticism unless you actually irl fight me in a dennys parking lot

felt like drawing more of my Kirby x Pizza Tower AU, this time based on the cut character select screen back when Noise was playable in the Patreon demos.
I think I’ve settled on the name Gourmet Tower for this AU which I will be using as a tag on this art going forward to make it easier to find on my page :]

Prompt
Percy manages to convince Nico to try one special flavor of NY pizza. Nico loves it but doesn't want to admit it, Percy can't help but taking it upon himself to make him admit it as fluff, teasing domesticity and maybe spice prevail.
"Come on, Nico, you promised!" Percy whined. Nico grimaced.
"I said I would come with you to try this, not that I would try it myself," Nico said stubbornly as he stared at the thin crust and excessive cheese that the state of New York dared to call Pizza.
"But it's a special recipe," Percy insisted, taking a slice and biting into it. "It's so good too!"
"Look, I told you last time, Ney York Pizza may come from Italian immigrants, but it is not pizza," he said. "It's too thin, too salty, the crust is incorrectly charred—"
"Just one bite," Percy tried. "Then, you can spend the night at my apartment and we'll eat, do and make whatever you want."
Nico hesitated. That was a pretty good offer. It had been so long since he and Percy had spent the night together...
"We're making real Italian food at your home," he warned. Percy nodded eagerly.
"You know I love your ravioli," he said. Nico sighed and held the Pizza slice like it was trying to bite him back.
He took a deep breath and bit.
His eyes widened.
Below the thick layer of cheese where thinly sliced tomatoes with herbs, and the cheese itself... it wasn't just heaps upon heaps of salty parmesan, but actual mozzarella.
It tasted like a bizarro version of a Margherita.
It tasted good.
"So... how was it?" Percy asked, already grinning like a loon.
"It was... not revolting," Nico said. He dropped the slice, even though he wanted to take another bite. "Probably a six out of ten."
Percy smirked wider.
"You liked it~" Percy sang. Nico sputtered. "Come on, admit it, give a point to good old New York!"
"It wasn't bad, but that's it," Nico lied. He had a reputation, his grandparents (Not Chronos and Rhea, the other ones) would roll in their graves if he ever admitted something so awful. "Probably the lesser of America's crimes on Italian cuisine."
Percy narrowed his eyes, still smiling. He took the slice and started devouring it.
"Well, then you dont mind if I finish it up before we go to my apartment, right?"
"O-of course I don't mind!" Nico said, a bit too quickly for his own taste. Percy nodded.
"You know, since you didn't like it that much, I probably shouldn't kiss you until I go home and wash my teeth," Percy mentioned innocently, taking another slice. "Wouldn't want to gross you out."
"It wasn't gross... just not my thing," Nico said. "A kiss is fine."
"But the herbs, Nico!" Percy protested. "They aren't fresh! You hate that!"
"Every ingredient can be used correctly..."
"It's a bummer, though," Percy said, using his tongue to clean up his lips. "If you had liked this, I would have been so happy..."
"It is what it is, Percy," Nico said, trying to not look at Percy as he 'accidentally' dropped some sauce on his arm and licked it off sensously. "You can take the boy out of Italy, but you can never take Italy out of the boy..."
"Yeah, but you know, Nico," he said, his voice acquiring a husky tone. "When I'm happy, I tend to do things for the people I love... things that makes them happy."
Nico gulped. Was Percy implying...?
"But I appreciate your honesty," he said, shrugging, and suddenly the atmosphere was back to normal as Percy took another bite. "Don't want to make you uncomfortable."
Nico thought carefully. Mamma, Nono, and Nona would probably be okay if Nico enjoyed one bastardization of Italian food, right? Just the one.
Especially if it came with boyfriend priviledges.
"I... I may actually like it a bit more than I thought," he said, looking around, expecting to see his grandfather's ghost wailing.
"Nico, it's okay," Percy said, teasing grin in place. "You don't have to force yourself to—"
Nico kissed him and took the last slice, giving it a big bite and moaning to it, just for show.
"It's the best pizza I've ever tasted in America," he said seriously. "I admit it, I'm handing in my Italian card for a slice of pizza and boy I like."
Percy laughed.
"I'll give it back to you once you relearn more dishes," He said. "For now, I'm just happy you were honest with me."
Nico gave him a feral grin.
"I know you were teasing, but I'd hold you to everything you said," he said back.
Percy's smile became just a little bit nervous.

National Pizza with the Works Except Anchovies Day
National Pizza with the Works Except Anchovies Day falls on November 12 and is also known as National Pizza With Everything (Except Anchovies) Day. Pizza is the most eaten — and best liked — food item in the U.S. Each American eats about 46 pizza slices a year. Anchovy is a small fish that usually comes in a can. Pizza fans feel it does not go well with a classic, deliciously topped pizza, since its flavor tends to overpower the more delicate nuances of the ingredients used as toppings. Bring out the chef in you and top your personal pizza with your favorites, minus the anchovy, of course.
History of National Pizza with the Works Except Anchovies Day
Although there is no factual origin of this cod-less Pizza day and people continue to wonder about its origin, it does not mean this day cannot still be celebrated. In fact, if we go into the details of pizza making its way to America, we can find that the first restaurant pizza was made in New York City’s Little Italy in 1905.
But where does the idea of putting fish (anchovies) on the pizza come from? Well, if we go back in time and see what the Ancient Romans did, we would see that they used to put fermented fish on their flat breads. The Greeks had a pie which they called a “pita”, which could have led to the word entering the Roman (later Italian) vocabulary. The recipe stayed around the early days of pizza, and mozzarella was used as the cheese of choice. As pizza became more popular, and people added their own preferences, different ingredients were experimented with, and this is where anchovies crept in as a topping.
Pizza has been described as the favorite meal of Americans, especially since World War II. Since then, there have been different recipes and varieties of pizza, with a wide array of toppings. There always has been a group of people who have ridiculed the beloved pizza with anchovies as topping choice – so much so that only 3 in every 1,000 people would admit to selecting anchovy as a topping of choice. So this day celebrates the mainstream taste regarding pizza.

Why Do We Celebrate National Pizza with the Works Except Anchovies Day?
It’s our favorite meal
The focus is on the ‘works’
It helps us appreciate those who love anchovies
Pizza is definitely America’s favorite meal — roughly 100 acres of pizza a day or about 350 slices per second, are consumed. So even a funny day that makes fun of a topping, in this case anchovies, is part of what we celebrate daily.
This day is about concentrating on the ‘works’ which point towards appreciating the toppings.  Instead of an average pizza, this day celebrates the effort of selecting gorgeous, mouth-watering toppings and really savoring them.
There are so few true blue anchovy lovers that it may be a good idea to get them to celebrate this day with you — without their fishy love. Then do a turn-around and let them make you a pizza with their favorite topping on it and give it a chance. You may love it and be hailed as a bridge builder across the topping divide in the pizza world.
