Personally I really do not like when things made in one type of media like a book gets turned into smt that's easier to consume when it becomes popular, like a movie or series.

With few exceptions, I think it's stupid. If you want to engage in something that's popular but it's in a longer format, well you should bite the dust anyway and read it or smt. Like we really do not need a retelling of a story, but worse in a easily digestible format if we could just read the original. I understand a craving for a particular story but in a visual format, filmography is a art that should be admired in its own right, but then you could, idk watch a movie with *similar* things but is still original.

Like as much as I like the LotR series and csm, they're kinda unnecessary. I haven't read all of the LotR books but I read Hobbit and it was much better than the movie and had more information. Even though the movie was very good, it's super limited to the amount of information it's allowed to put in, specifically when anything gets turned into a movie or series, they, with out fail, always always leave out some important information. Whether it be character development, or relative plot points, there's always something important left out because movies when made to fit a already existing story are forced to cut things to make it easier to consume.

Once again. If you want to understand LotR references READ THE BOOK we don't need a movie. Compared to most things were they turn into a movie it does a good job, but it's meer existence is stupid and dumb and dumb

The movie already exists so, yeah it's more relevant to memes and shit, but I hate it.
