Gotham was welcoming of Amity Parkers.

not as loving as with her own but she was way more patient with the people of her friend that any other outsiders.

so the people of Amity those Liminal and aware of her tried to pay her kindness back, to a reasonable degree of course but they could help and she let them stay so they did.

Paulina took it upon herself to make a nice place in the fashion district, she sold some charms to help with the curses as much as she could.

Sam being Sam opened a surprisingly Ivy Approved community garden and was very hard to convince not to join the Eco-terrorist but they managed to, thankfully.

the Fentons designed filters to help the 'Parkers but it was good for the city too if too little to do much.

Val hadn't moved here (yet) but she visited often enough and each visit volunteered somewhere.

Gotham grown to adore them almost as their own, she even hid them from the bats for a while to let them settle (and maybe help her more before her Knight inevitably got paranoid)

Gotham laughed when her King stumbled into her Red Knight, you could hear it in subtle ways the sounds of the night flowed just a little too much like a giggle.

Hood did deserve more good things she's proud of herself!

I hope you got a decent sleep but I wonder, how big is Jason in your AU?

Is it as big as Gotham Knights (Game)?

I did sleep! I'm not sure exactly how long as I'm not sure when I fell asleep, time got weird for me at the end there. But probably upwards of 10 hours so I'm feeling betterish.

He is as big as GK Jason, yes. He's a tank of a man, ghost puberty, and actual puberty, hit him like a truck. I was playing GK while writing RK originally, so I did base his physique off of that. But also because I love tank Jason.

I did not base his face off of GK Jason, though. That stayed more comic book accurate.

I can't give you like hard stats, because I avoid gyms like they'll give me the plague. I couldn't give you his weight and full measurements if I wanted to. But he's big and beefy and unapologetically takes up as much space as he needs to.

No new snippet today, I haven't written yet today so I have nothing that won't be too spoilery. 💚

I adored the new chapter I get the feeling that Dick fully approves of Danny as Jason's boyfriend. Like Saving Jason from a second death and helping him adjust to the powers that came with his revival gave him major brownie points in Dick's eyes. But being generally a good person and having a similar sense of humor to himself means that Dick will skip the shovel talk and get to teasing Jason about his crush.

I literally can't wait for Dick to see Jason in Ghost mode. I get the feeling that Dick even though Jason hasn't told him his new name yet is going to recognize him immediately. I get the feeling that the magical rings of transformation that halfa's have are both going to be a great source of teasing and Evny. Teasing because doesn't the phrase magical girl transformation sequence ring any bells? Envy because Jason can now go from civilian to hero in less than the second.

Dick definitely approves of Danny as boyfriend material for Jason. Yeah he kinda chewed him out, but that just means he'll protect Jason. And Dick gets a brother in law who will indulge him in a pun off so Dick can't really lose here. I can't wait for Dick to show up again, he's already a favorite of mine to write and I didn't expect that at all. I'm actually going to have a minor new subplot added to the story where we deal with some stuff that apparently was happening to Dick around the time Jason came back (someone unfortunately informed me of Canon events. I asked for it. I just didn't expect them to be so awful, the events not the person)

Dick: >.> yo Jason you can stop pretending. There's like 5 people in spandex with a body type like yours and I know none of them would willingly come to Gotham

Dick will have so much new material to tease Jason with. He'll just start playing random magical girl show openers everytime he sees him. Even in costume. The goons are really confused because now they're getting beat up while the Sailor Moon intro plays in the background and WHY DOES IT FIT?!

so, sweet sweet cw, are you telling me that having two dc-based shows on your roster, one centred around a white nuclear family, and one around a group of outcasts, some of whom are queer and poc, you chose to renew the former and cancel the latter? huh, it's almost as if i've seen that before, somewhere...

and, as if that wasn't enough, you do it within a week of the wlw ship on the latter show going canon. i am in shock (not).

One of the things I love about Gotham Knights is how each character’s playstyle compliments their personality.

You’ve got Batgirl, who is a very driven and methodical woman, and her gameplay as a result is very focused, concentrating on each individual baddie and doing as much damage as possible to single targets. Nightwing is a showoff, and his gameplay is the most flashy, excelling at crowd control and utilising a lot of acrobatics. Red Hood is an angry man who doesn’t always think things through, and so his combat is all about hitting hard and loud with very little room for subtlety or finesse. And finally you have Tim Drake who is only 16 and has just started out as Robin and is still trying to find his feet. He’s shy and awkward and isn’t very confrontational, which is reflected in his gameplay. He’s quick, nimble, and silent, making him the best at stealth.

It’s great attention to detail and I love how unique they all feel. 🤓

Just started my second play through of Gotham Knights, this time as Barbara. I have made a mistake. I thought Jason was the tank. He is not. Jason deals damage, Barbara absorbs it like a sponge and I love her for it.
