Jack: "Oh I can see! It's blurry and distorted - ah... now it's slowly getting better - but... ah" Jack gasped for air.

Saiwa still can't see anything: "Jack! What's wrong?" Jack tried to speak between gasping for air: "I... I'm... locked up! ...out!" And the he collapsed. (Due to his difficult past and after being locked up as a toddler and later with Saiwa in the lab and again when he and Ji Ho almost died in a fire, Jack can't stand being locked up.)

Jack also collapsed in the room in Tomarang and Saiwa is immediately stopping the game. Saiwa: "Tiny Can, stop the simulation!"

Vlad is helping Jack up and get's him to breathe again. Saiwa cries: "I'm so sorry, cub." (That's not the first time Saiwa is mean to Jack and something happens to him ö.Ö') And Ji Ho is petrified. Jack is like a brother to him and one of his best friends. This all started so promising and could have been of so much help for them... Tiny Can also looks abashed and beeps sadly...

Lost Frank Castle x Karen Page fic

Hi! So I don't really interact with anyone on Tumblr but I don't really know what else to do, so here we go. I'm back on my Kastle bullshit <3 and I've been trying to find this old fan fiction on AO3 that I started reading years ago. Stopped reading after a certain point but had the tab open on my phone and I thought I'd continue reading eventually.. And then my phone got stolen, and I forgot the title & author name. Not great. I've dedicated the past few days to looking for it and so far I got nothing.

Published: 2016-2017 (started post s2 Daredevil but pre The Punisher s1 because I don't remember any of the plot or characters from that show showing up) might have been deleted in 2020ish

now let's get really unhinged...

Plot:

Pretty sure the story starts on Karen's birthday but her mood is meh.. She's on her way home or something, gets in her car and Shining Star starts playing which let's her know that Frank was recently there. Something else must have alarmed her because she goes looking for him and finds him in like an alley around her building. He's in really bad shape, bloody practically dying. She carries him to her apartment and either helps him herself or calls Claire Temple.*

*Don't think it was in this part of the story but she helps Frank and makes a joke about him not being healthy enough to be sleeping with Karen anytime soon which makes them blush. Don't think they were intimate yet but tensions were rising.

For the next couple of chapters I remember it was mainly beautifully written angst between them in this contained space while he's healing. Karen doesn't want Frank to get killed while being the Punisher, he resists her care and tries to hurt her by saying "You aren't Maria and could never be" or something.

I also vividly remember a scene where he's grieving and keeps like tugging on this necklace Karen has on while he cries in her arms. She leaves her necklace at his family's graves and the groundskeeper or something tells her not to do that because it'll get stolen but she knows that but does it anyway as a sign of respect.

They sort admit their feelings eventually but don't sleep together yet because they know they can't go back after that. For some reason Frank needs to leave the city for a little while to re-home a dog I believe he found while on a "mission" and the idea is that the time apart will help them decide whether or not they want to be together. They reunite on a sunny, lovely day in the city and go back to her apartment and lots of smut ensues. Daredevil shows up at midnight/ morning to get Frank. Something's going down he needs his help. It doesn't end well somehow Karen gets involved and they both go to the same hospital. Frank is in a coma and Karen visits him when she's allowed and urges him to live sort of mirroring when he first got shot in the head at the carousel. He wakes up but needs to go back to prison. Everything is really bad. The press somehow knows about their relationship as well. Last scene I remember is Karen and Foggy talking about all this and a newspaper printing a picture of Karen's legs with the caption Keys to the Castle? or something. Gross everything sucks and that's where I stopped reading.

So that's about all I can remember, feels like a fever dream. If anyone could help me out I'd really appreciate it. Thx!!

Hi everyone, and this is my post with theories and headcanons about John Titor because I love her so much and she is my daughter!! <3

❗The theories and headcanons were created with the help of my wife, who I told everything I know about this character so far (my knowledge may be incomplete). These are just our thoughts and guesses. We may be wrong on some points, sorry!!! But we have been doing a little research with John Titor's story and her voice lines in the game, and today I want to share it

John Titor's diary

In her diary entries, John Titor notes the weather on a particular day. e.g.: June 16, rain; January 29, snow, and so on. perhaps this helps her remember events better

She describes war and chaos in the world. There could be several possibilities here:

She has experienced violence in the past (abuse, abusive behavior, etc.), which traumatized her, and the war is a veiled description of her experience. This is how she conveys her feelings and perception of the world around her;

There was a war at the time (the diary does not give the year), she was a victim of warfare and violence (she was taken prisoner, sent to a concentration camp and had horrible things done to her). She kept a diary at the time or wrote about past events;

You probably know the story of John Titor, who called himself a time traveler. On a forum dedicated to creepypasta he wrote "predictions of the future", detailing events that he said might happen. Maybe John Titor (the character) was fascinated by this story and just made it all up, based on what the real John Titor predicted, because her personality was built on this mysterious person. Or...John Titor (the character) calls herself a time traveler for a reason. Maybe she really is one, and in diary she describes an event from her time (war, cancellation of the Olympics, chaos in the world) while predicting the future. These are the two reasons she has that name in the game

Fan fact: her badge looks a lot like the symbol of the existing "John Titor Foundation" that published a book about the "time traveler" that included his forum entries

I was using other people's translation of her hexadecimal code phrases into words. I'm also making assumptions based on the theories i've previously described

Under "to the future" she says "crazy like me.". According to previous assumptions about her diary entries, it can be said that she is traumatized by her experiences of violence or war. she may have depression and PTSD, and this phrase is her idea of the future, which is typical of people with mental disorders;

Under "hobby" she says "Corvette 1966 black". According to Google, that's the make of the car. Why is she talking about it? Let's look at "bond: night", her phrase is "wanna go on a drive". I think these phrases are related. Maybe she doesn't sleep at night (she has bruises under her eyes) and it's at night that she can spend time doing her hobby: she's literally driving a car. Or it's in her imagination and she's just reflecting in this time;

In the "hat and hair" column she says "hey don't touch me". She may have experienced violence, it could have been bullying by someone or it could have happened during the war she wrote about in the diary. In any case, she is not tactile at all as a result of the traumatic events, she hates to be touched and doesn't let anyone touch her. You can also see that her hair is cut unevenly, which could also be due to the traumatic events;

Under "clothing and torso" she says "a soldier's physique". This description could mean that she witnessed or participated in warfare and/or, again, experienced violence. Either way, she notes her resilience. She was able to endure and survive horrific events as if she were a soldier. Or is this another reference to "time traveler" John Titor, who called himself a soldier

Why does John Titor only interact with everyone using hex code?

Given the theory that she is indeed a time traveler, we can make the assumption that code is the "language of the future," a way of interacting between people whose lives are entirely built on and dependent on technology;

Perhaps because of the traumatic events I wrote about earlier, John Titor no longer wants to associate herself with people in any way, to be like them, to speak human language. She decided to completely restructure her personality and become something like a mechanical machine

Again, I don't consider everything described above to be canon, it's just speculation and conjecture. I wanted to share my thoughts, and I'm proud of it because I love John Titor!! So, recently I’ve started watching the 03 TMNT after a hiatus of like…5ish years, I wanna say? Anyway, I was watching the season 3 finale, “Exodus,” and I had a thought: Did the writers not know if they were going to get another season?

Think about it for a minute. And please bear in mind that I have not even done ANY sort of surface-level Googling on the subject. But. The way everything just wraps up?

Like, Shredder is banished to an ice asteroid prison, something that seems reasonably inescapable, even if you are an evil mastermind who committed warmongering on several planets.

Karai and Dr. Chaplain are sent back to earth, presumably with a little sticky note that says, “Arrest me,” taped to their backs.

And they don’t show it explicitly, but it can be assumed that after the Utrom help the turtles and Master Splinter heal more thoroughly from their injuries, they are sent home without a fuss, a muss, or a coconut (I have no idea if this was just something my mom used to say or if it’s a reference to something, but I’m using it anyway).

Anyway, all this to say, most of the pressing plot lines were neatly tied up in a bow, except for the Bishop line. (But, considering the darker nature of his villainous character, I’m not too sure very many parents would have been thrilled with his introduction anyway, especially after the—comparatively—tame action of the first two seasons. In my opinion, after his character was introduced, it gave the show a silent permission to enter into a more grim and dark tone—one that isn’t exactly the first thing you’d think of with a G-rated kids’ cartoon). But if they weren’t certain about getting picked up for another season, then their obvious choice would be to sacrifice the storyline of a new villain so that they could wrap up a 3-season long main villain line if they needed to.

Anywho, like I said, I have not researched this IN THE SLIGHTEST, so I’m simply having a late-night speculating session. But that’s my thoughts on that.

Has anybody heard anything about this? Because it’s entirely possible I’m just reading too much into this. I’ve heard from a long time ago that the show did very well and wasn’t in danger of being discontinued until the very end when people got tired of the turtles.

1. What is your favourite childhood movie and why?

Strangely I’d never been big on movies or tv as a kid or even now (I want to get more into it now but my adhd still says no) my mum even told me that when I was young she could sit my brothers in front of the tv to be entertained but not me, I’d lose interest hella quickly… probs the first time I got into anything tv related was when I was 10-12 and was invested in the drama of the tv series “dance academy” on abc3 Ive actually met the producer! other than that I didn’t mind a reality show as a kid but then most of that wore off after I studied media in school and we went as live audience to “reality” shows and I realised how set up everything was and couldn’t care less afterward -

If I had to pick any movie that I loved and that still strangely brings me some sort of comfort.. it would have to be the 2010 Jaden Smith Version of Karate Kid ahahaha idk why (well I kinda do there’s lots of reasons but then I’d go on another whole tangent so I won’t) I was like 11 when it came out so I think that can count :) I can weirdly watch it over and over whereas most other movies I watch once and never again.

2. Do you have a favourite book or book series and why?

I talked about this in some previous posts on here but my fav book of all time is “Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine” by Gail Honeyman !!!!! I also am very passionate about “The uncaged sky: my 804 days in an Iranian Prison” by Kylie Moore-Gilbert (the audiobook version narrated by Kylie herself) and fav wholesome series has gotta be the Heartstopper graphic novels!!!! AHAHA again I could go on and on and on about why I love them all individually as they are all VERY DIFFERENT from each other, but I’ll literally be writing like 3 giant essays so I’ll stop myself now!! I will say, while it’s important we consume and love media that we don’t relate to to broaden our perspectives of life, it’s obviously easy to consume and love media that we see a small part of ourselves in and think this has a lot to do with why I love these so much!

4. Your favourite cereal?

I honestly don’t eat cereal and never really have :,) cereals were kinda demonised in my house as a child (almond mum tings?) but then eventually they weren’t anymore but I never rlly enjoyed their taste - this is such a sad answer but probably Kelloggs sultans bran LMAO. I haven’t had it for years but I rlly don’t mind it … I think it’s probably very different to American cereals cause it’s not sweet … one time I went to an American food store here in Aus and everything I tried taste like pure sugar and hurt my stomach so bad LOL never again I’m hoping and praying that Americans have other food options not featured in this store 😭 cos I understand some of it as a one off dessert but like everyday breakfast omg noooo I hope ur stomachs are ok

5. Your favourite gemstone?

I’m ngl I don’t have a super passionate answer about this one off the top of my head (sorry I’m such a boring person!!) I think they’re all so pretty!!! I gave them a google to try decide which I like most but it’s impossible .. I think I love any of the blue ones!! I’ll tell you one thing I rlly don’t love the yellow topaz cos I’m born in Nov and I see it on everything and I swear it’s the worst one imo like liteeally any other one I love! But I can still appreciate it ig :,)

6. Any activity you liked as a child and do you still like it now?

My biggest pain as a child was athletics!!!! I used to be competitive in 100m, 200m, long jump and triple jump :) sadly I no longer do athletics or compete but my passion for running/competitiveness lived on and by 15 I ran my first half marathon.. but from 17 onwards I got quite sick and was unable to run (minus a few little months of getting back into it over the yrs only to have to stop again) and now I’m 24 and finally getting back into it again.. kinda.. cos my health is still kinda shit but I’ll go for a lot shorter runs a couple times a week and hoping and praying my health gets better so I can proper get back into it.. not to compete anymore just for myself cos it’s one of the only things in this life that brings me joy :) I’ve also always loved taking photos although I’m not professional or anything it’s just been a fun little hobby I guess.. I have a few diff cameras but in currently trying (failing) to save for this new different one.. just waiting for my uni scholarship money this tri bc I’m too unwell to use it to go on a holiday atm I’m gonna use it to buy this camera I’ve been wanting oop :,) I’m a much bigger a fan of film photography over digital but the camera I’m planning on buying is kinda a combo of both eg. It produces images of a similar vibe to film photography but is actually digital so u don’t have to worry about wasting film :) it’s also a point and shoot, super small and can be taken anywhere which is much better than my current digital camera which is bulky and has a million settings idk how to use lol.

7. Have you ever read Lucy Maud Montgomery books?

I was about to say no I’ve never heard of her but then I googled it and saw Anne of Green Gables which I read when I was like literally 8… and as I’ve said in a previous post I never remember what I’ve read even if I read it two minutes ago bc adhd tings but I always remember how it made me feel - and I remember really enjoying it! Maybe I should give it a reread cause I barely remember what it was about :,) as for the rest of her books I don’t think I’ve read any! I love so much that you have a fandom page omgggg I wish I was that passionate about something !!!! Charrelin has complications with her right lung. I use this complication as a device to explain why she is level 1 at the start of the game. She wasn’t bothered by it before the events, but after her abduction, the stress, hyperventilation and inhalation of smoke and other harmful debris, her lungs would be affected, causing excessive coughing and light-headedness. She’s not in prime health during any of the acts of the game, especially not during act 2, but she learns to adapt and recovers her skills. At 16, she had been kidnapped and kept as a prisoner for over a tenday, in which somewhere along that timespan she had been beaten badly enough that a few of her ribs broke and punctured her lung. It wouldn’t be treated for the rest of her captivity and only when the harpers had found her had they fixed up the majority of the damage. She’d go on for the next 14 years with an occasional cough and subtle aches, but nothing too bad. I’d imagine the stress her body and lungs had been under before reaching the shadow-cursed lands had done a number on her, but the air in the shadows made it even worse, to the point I believe her lung collapses a second time during battle.

By all means, I am not a medical professional. I’ve only done surface-level googling to know the terms of collapsed lungs. I know they usually heal up and lead to no further health concerns, but if you’ve had a collapsed lung, you can run the risk of it happening again. I’m not sure how different Charrelin’s situation would be based on the fact that she had gone days without treatment and when she finally got it, it may or may not have been sufficient enough. I imagine she did walk away from there with pneumothorax and was in a considerable amount of pain for a week or so until it healed on its own. How I’ll explain the chronic cough and pain after that, I don’t know. But I might just cut that out completely and have it resurface after her abduction. That could work. Potentially, I could also have earlier symptoms be caused by malformation in her ribs if they healed wrong, or even a bone fragment stuck inside her lung.

If you know about this better than I do, I’d very much appreciate your input!

(Update: Doing further research and found out that saying she suffered a collapsed lung as young would be an understatement. Since it was blunt force trauma, it’s called a pulmonary contusion, and it can lead to COPD, or chronic pulmonary disease, which is permanent and incurable. COPD could make sense for her, which would also be quite sad because it significantly worsens your quality of life)

(Update #2: Oh wait, woah. Look at that life expectancy. That probably wouldn’t make sense for her then. Also, she probably would be too young to develop symptoms)

(Update #3: Hold on, it says it takes years after the injury for symptoms to first appear. It wouldn’t be too strange for her symptoms to start appearing during act 1 and her health deteriorates over-time. Potentially, Charrelin might have a very depressing fate awaiting her. Note, this is HIGHLY SPECULATORY, so don’t prepare for her funeral yet. I’m just yappin’)

(Update #4: How would people of Faerun approach serious medical conditions like COPD, though? Could a cleric just snap their fingers and poof! “You no longer have just 7 years to live”? In that case, would there be no cancer in dnd? If there is some cure-it-all spell, how easy or difficult would it be to get access to it? Or is just any high-level cleric capable of curing the incurable?)

(Update #5: Did a little more reading and yes, cancer is a thing in dnd. Not sure if it could, but could lesser/greater restoration and cure disease have any effect?)

No matter how many times I say NO GARCHU UNTIL YOU COMMENT the comments are few and far between (although, not as low as on Clione's fic, but he stole the idea from me, so that's fair, isn't it?!?). <-- That's called an Interrobang, or maybe the other way around, and No, Captain had to tell me, it doesn't mean sex between species...or in Wano prisons (*not a spoiler cos it's fiction!). Learn something new in Bepo fanfic world everyday! Now, onto your asks.

58. what is the last thing that a fic made you google when you were writing it?

How deep penguins can dive and for how long, say, if they were an Emperor Penguin (not that there are any Emperors on our crew—and maybe only two leaders, if we're being honest) and, some can dive to about 565m which is deeper than the Tang usually goes!

Some hold their breath for just shy of thirty minutes too! So, if you needed to catch a bird, say, for sustenance purposes, considering that some Minks that might resemble polar bears can only dive to about 13 metres at a stretch and only hold their breath for a minute or two, it's best to nab those kinds of meaty birds on the surface. Purely for research purposes.

65. what is your favourite title for a fic you’ve written? 

I don't really have a favourite but: Beptober Day 8: Mutual Mastication seemed to get a lot of attention! (Like cows do it, seems pretty common, and better than that regurgitation thing penguins have going on. But, y'know, different courses for different horses, I guess).

71. how do you balance writing and life? do you ever feel overwhelmed by the amount of writing you have to do? I find that if I get overwhelmed, I get the crew to drop me on some ice and I wait by a seal's breath hole, and I wait for them to poke their head through the ice, cute whiskers quivering, and, then, if I'm fast enough, I catch them and enjoy them à la sashimi style, but without the filleting and with all the fur. Crew tends to leave me alone for a while after that. My head's also wonderfully clear, and sometimes I can clack out 10,000 words without knocking over an ink pot once, or accidentally unplugging the word processor.

76. what is one essential thing to remember when writing a villain? 

That they wear pink feathered coats.

OR, y'know, have bright red hair.

91. how has your writing style changed over the years?

I think I might be one of a kind and I'm thinking of patenting the Bepo Brand™

So again, this au is from Prison Au from @llamagoddessofficial. For this ask I’m going to be providing my takes on it, as well as made medical pages for both. Just to be clear my words are much truer then the pages. The pages are to show the different perspectives. Hopefully it’s not too much info at once. If its too much to read, there’s something in MS word That will read it to you. Its in review tab.  but again sorry for it being long.

 And yes, the disease.

It’s on paper name is “Mangeur d'espoir,” however it translates into “hope eater”. The story I have for the name is that Asgore when he came to the surface, he was given the job to name everything. And as we know from the game Asgore struggles with naming things. So, when he learned different languages was a thing, he started using google translate to make the simple names sound cool.

However, the sickness came about when humans and monsters meet. Just as a little history fact when the British came to Canada for the first time, they accidently brought there’s body’s sickness with them.  This spared to the natives who had not built an immunity that they had. Without the knowledge and tech, we had today hundreds of natives died. This also happened with the surfacing. Humans and monsters alike were getting sick and human Docters were desperate to find cures for things like Monster pox/Rainbow Spots, Monster flu/Sludge, and even some of the more worrying was Magic fever.  Little did everyone know that sum of the sickness was more dormant and deadly. These were more in the vein of mental health. This vein of sickness would latch themselves onto people with ptsd, mpd, or bpd. Upon discovery they were given 3 classes, Cancer, Parasite, Virus. More is still to be learned but onto the one at hand.

Before I start how it effects Monsters and humans is vary different. So, in the book of “Monstros,” A book of Monsters sickness, that has been updated to include modem knowledge on how these sicknesses affect humans.  

Let’s starts with Monsters. Its appearance is a dark spot in the soul, where this be many spots, or a mass lump always depends. The texture feels oil; however, it absorbs all light. When and if removed, (Not advised) it will leave a void/ chunk out of the soul leaving it weak. The symptoms are people going from active to being sluggish, lack of energy. The problem with identifying is that its slow. Like cancer it starts small and grows. However, this can take years to develop, so constant soul checks are important to soul heath. It also depends on the kind of Monster we are dealing with.

Plant Based, leaves will wilt. Slimes will have a hard time keeping form and feel as if there falling apart. Animal based can find fur, feather, or scale loss. Elemental based will find that they slowly losing their temp. Hot will be cold and cold will melt.   Some other base effects may be loss of weight, or yellowing of horns, teeth, and nails.  Also, it can’t spread, like at all. All these perobloms are caused by the lack of access to the soul. Light, food, and love, can’t get in or out. Thus, trapping there Hp, at what ever it was. And slowly over time eating away at it until there’s nothing left. Until the Hp is 0.

Now this can be cause by many things, however, to sum it up anything that can cause depression can cause this to grow. But like I said before it can’t spread, so a parent can’t give it to a child. As for a cure, there have been many attempts to cure it. Cutting it out is viable when its little but not when its big. As said before it will leave the soul weak. When it is big there are 3 things that can be done, 1 cut it out, again not the best, 2 love method, this involves you to live in a highly loving environment (IE family, friends), 3 and this is very dangerous, is burn it out and not with fire, Eco shrooms extract mixed with aloe vare and acid. Yes acid, citric. So, lemons or oranges. And that might not sound so bad but put onto a soul is a different thing. The prosses is extremely painful and the monster needs to be knocked out or strapped down.  

Now for humans, this takes on a host of new perobloms, you see the lights that happen in a human’s brain are closer to magic this cancer is used to. So instead of effecting the soul it affects the brain feeding on the electricity between nerves. Effectively becoming a new strain of the cancer. It was this strain that caused the name change from “Soul eater,” to “Hope eater.” (Yes, this wasn’t an accident it was on purpose that’s just to show old that page is.) Its appearance looks like a brain lesion, or black spots on a CT. Limbic brain is where it will constrain most of the times.  To human doctors it looks like common depression, however Monsters know different. This being the smell, and radiation. This leads into the symptoms.  This is lack of sleep, depression, or inconsistent apatite.  The human body has never experienced this kind of sickness before, but the human body is smart and will try and expel this sickness anyway it can. This being leaking from breasts, fainting, puke, and if left for too long, seizures. However, your body will also start to try and sweat it out. This smell will be picked up by sensitive noses and comes across as B.O. to others.

Again, the cause could be anything that causes depression, however unlike the monster strain this one can be spread by genetics because of its location. It has full access to the important cells, like blood cells. This gives it access to the circulatory system. However, it can only live in the brain and can’t spread to the rest of the body. With, if a woman was to conceive a child, unfortunately there is a large chance of the child not making it.  The cancer would smother the brain and, in its attempts, to try and grow.  

Now humans being the physical creatures that we are, means that the cancer has no choice but to do the same. So just removing it is a viable option. Nonetheless this doesn't mean that it's a walk in the park. We are dealing with a vary delicate human brain. One wrong move and its no more walking for you.  So that is an option. However, if you were to ingest the monster concoction called assassino di-ombre (it means shadow killer, again Asgore sucks at naming.) you could start to experience the same benefits but vary slowly. However, the love method is also viable, but Human and Monster family run differently. So, a loving environment depends on the person.

But misinformation is rampant among human doctors about Monster health. Some chose to ignore it all together, some listen to Monster health facts made by humans, and more commonly the doctor’s medical knowledge is too old. So, this leads to people miss understanding and just make it as nothing. This is why mc has it as bad as she dose.

Conscious Awareness

Being consciously aware is a game changer. It also reminds me of when people say "once you wake up, there's no going back." It can be a painful experience to become aware of the spells and curses people speak over themselves. It can be painful to want to be better while some people around you don't want to put the work in to change and improve their lives.

If you are consciously aware, you know that the words you speak are like a veil you put over your life. Our subconscious mind basically rules over our lives and our actions and it is always listening!

Our subconscious mind is formed from when we are a baby up until 7 or 8 years old. It is the core beliefs and perceptions that act as a foundation for the rest of your life. That's why it can be somewhat of a problem for kids who weren't necessarily loved correctly, or worse, abused or ignored..

There are ways to tap into your subconscious mind.. for example, my favorite practice right now is to brush your teeth with your less dominant hand. Brushing your teeth is something that comes as a second nature, we've been doing it since we were little. When you use your less dominant hand, you are fully present, learning the mechanics of this act. After you've finished brushing, you look into the mirror, look into your eyes and say "I love you" 10 times.

We don't have any control over how we're brought up as children. But if you want your life to change for the better, if you want to break generational patterns, break patterns of addiction, of abuse, of narcissism, you need to practice tapping into your subconscious and directing it the way you wish.

The tooth brushing method can be used with any affirmations, not just "I love you." After doing a google search, it says that "it takes 3 to 4 WEEKS to reprogram your subconscious mind!!!" That's insane. It's definitely something I want and need to practice more. As a little girl, I was nervous. I would pick hairs out of my eyebrows and profusely sweat at any given time. I would bite my nails too. These behaviors have seeped into my adulthood and I still get somewhat flustered while talking to people, although I have worked hard to change this. It takes a lot of being uncomfortable and purposely doing hard things to get further in your personal development.

Since our subconscious mind controls about 90% to 95% of our day, changing it can, like I said, be a game changer. When you no longer have that negative, irritable, bitchy voice in the back of your mind beating you up about literally being a human being and living and experiencing your life, you're really free to do what you want to do. I've always wanted to be someone who is able to be CONFIDENT without even a hint of social anxiety. I think that's why I've been on social media for so long, because you feel like you're able to be your real self, even if it's actually a fake, curated, mistake-less version of that.

So far on my journey, I've become more aware of my thoughts and each and every time they're negative, I change that or "challenge them." This alone has helped me a lot because I'm no longer a "prisoner" of my mind. It no longer has that power over me.

At the end of the day, your subconscious is important if you want to change. If you want to release bad/old habits, if you want to become a "new person" with a fresh approach, you need to look deeper into your mind. What do you want to do with this life? What do you want to accomplish? What feels good to do, on a soul level? Are you going to keep letting the past hold you back? It's PASSED. Live in the here and now, it's where life is happening for us. It's where our kids are growing and learning from us. It's where you can set the foundation to reach your wildest dreams.

It takes becoming consciously aware of ourselves to ask, "Why do I do that? Why do I feel this way?" Listen to your feelings!! They are trying to tell you something! When you ignore your feelings, your body still takes note of them! It's so easy to mindlessly go through life, being told what to do and how to act. It takes courage to go against the grain, to change for the better. Do it for the sake of yourself and the future!! You are not alone!

Would Quaritch's behavior towards Spider change if he (I mean Spider not Quaritch lmao) was (cis) female? I mean, for example, would Quaritch put more emphasis on Spider's contact with the female part of the squad instead of men, or what would the situation look like if Spider got his period or even the matter of clothing, what would he choose for her and what about the hair - would he cut it or just demat?

It's an interesting one to think about.. I do think there would be some changes. He would probably be a bit more conscious of her potential feelings of vulnerability... like I don't know that he would have slept in the same bed as her as quickly as he did with male!Spider... not that he had any bad intentions in either case (other than the whole holding your kid prisoner thing) but I feel like he'd be more aware of the gender difference and why it might be less appropriate, rather than 'boys bunking together' kinda vibes.

Otherwise I could see him treating her roughly the same. I do think he'd rely on the female squad members a little more - like when he did his list of toiletries for Spider he'd probably have added 'pads, tampons any other stuff you think I've missed' and then given it to Z-dog or Walker specifically. They might have done the shopping for male!Spider in the actual fic, but they probably just stuck to Q's list because he wasn't worried that he'd missed something. He might also ask them for advice, or ask Spider, or google when it came to periods.. but he did live with Paz who had a period, so it would mostly only be if Spider's periods were very different from Paz's that he would be uncertain. Otherwise he'd know the basic drill.

Clothes-wise - well he's picking male!Spider's clothes here, but I wouldn't say at present he's trying to style him particularly. I also don't think he necessarily /wants/ to style him - he might want to pull him away from certain styles, but he does know he can't put him in clothes for 7 years olds lol, so down the line I'm sure Spider would be doing his own clothes shopping with Q just overseeing from a distance. Right now, Spider has mostly casual and comfortable clothes which Q will have got for him. I can see him doing roughly the same for female Spider... he might struggle to guess bra size, so I can imagine him sending Walker or Z-dog to pick up bras for Spider once he knew the size, otherwise he'd have done the same thing of clocking general body shape, estimating clothes size and getting the comfy clothes purchased. If she came to the prison very dressy looking - then maybe he'd have got a couple dresses purchased too - but otherwise just kinda lounge wear type vibes. If she came to the prison wearing makeup he might have asked Walker and Z-dog to buy her some of that too, but he'd probably have waited till he had her to find out shades/brands because that would be too hard to guess.

And hair-wise, much the same, locs would go, curls come back, might not cut it as short as male!Spider's (his isn't even that short) but whatever best replicates 7-year-old Spider's hair!

Meanwhile, a man can get sentenced to 32 years in prison for attempting to meet a child that doesn’t even exist.

Also, because I know dumb twats like you are going to try and make some stupid “Gotcha!” out of my post; no, I’m not saying an adult man who plans to victimize children shouldn’t get sent to prison for a long time, in the name of preventing him from hurting children in the first place.

Okay so over the past two days I've rewatched/watched Alien 1-4 and boy was it ever a decline. For context, I've only seen Alien and Aliens prior to this, as well as one of the prequels, though I can't recall which one, but I'm not including those because I haven't watched/rewatched them yet.

Spoilers below for Alien 3 and Alien Resurrection, in case you haven't seen them, because I have thoughts.

Alien is perfect, of course. It still holds up really well and I'm still beyond happy that I was able to watch it in theaters many years ago as opposed to just on TV. It's definitely worth seeing in a theater IMO.

Aliens I've always had bad memories of, and while I was certainly reminded of why, it actually wasn't nearly as bad as I remembered it being. I think the character's name is "Hudson", or the guy who famously says "Game over, man! It's game over!" Anyways, he's why I had such bad memories of this movie. I find him incredibly annoying BUT the last time I saw this movie was probably a decade ago so while I still find it annoying, I'm able to look past it and overall find the rest of the movie enjoyable.

Alien 3 was uh... well let me just say that my initial reaction was WTF because of the "choice" they made at the beginning of the film to axe every character who survived from Aliens, aside from Ripley, and including Newt who was like so pivotal to the previous movie. I was so baffled this I had to google it and I see that it primarily wasn't their fault that they had to make this choice because I guess the actress who played Newt didn't actually want to be an actress, but I don't know, I think they could've managed to handle it a bit better than they did. It was just insanely jarring to go straight from saving her in Aliens to "btw she died off-screen between movies". This colored my opinion of the movie at first, but ultimately this movie wasn't so bad all things considered. The next movie definitely makes this one seem near-perfect by comparison.

Alien Resurrection is just bad. It's just so so bad. If I hadn't caught a glimpse of Joss Whedon's name in the credits at the beginning, I could've still guessed it a mile off. Ironically, even though Alien 3 actually had Ripley fuck a dude, this movie was way more unnecessarily sexualised than that one. Not to mention the fact that they went with the whole angle that the aliens are now Clone Ripley's children which makes sexualising the two infinitely worse.

There's also the fact that this movie just flat out does not make sense and is contrived as hell. They barely attempt to explain how Ripley is even in this movie to begin with after she died in Alien 3, giving us a one-off line about how they "scraped blood samples" that they found in the prison and used that to clone her, utilizing Alien DNA, which is how they wound up with 7 other failed attempts that all looked semi-Alien-like whereas our Ripley is #8 and looks normal.

Except this I could buy into. Is it contrived? Absolutely. But whatever, this world has synthetic androids and pseudo-supercomputers so whatever, I can buy that they have cloning too. But what I couldn't buy was that somehow by cloning her they also managed to clone the Queen alien that was lying dormant in Ripley's body back in Alien 3? I'm sorry, what? If you can do that why do you even need Ripley, an active threat to your plans?

There's also the plot contrivance of why they didn't immediately kill her off once she'd served her purpose. They had the Queen at that point, and the subject of terminating her comes up twice but we never actually get given an answer as to why they keep her alive. They even go as far as to call out the fact that she's an active danger to their project. Given that Joss Whedon was writing this, I'd have at least expected some kind of creepy doctor who wanted to fuck his Riply science experiment or something. Anything to even attempt to justify her continued existence.

Also I'm sorry these fuckers have been researching, reproducing and raising these aliens and not one of them thought that maybe they should make their cages acid proof?

Overall, just a terrible movie. Sucks too because I guess it leads nowhere? You're telling me they ran out of the tried-and-true method of "somehow the Aliens have returned" when the ship full of them crashed on Earth? Nah. Also I LOL'd at the ending because I'm sorry, is Earth uninhabited? I don't think so. But there they went crashing a fucking massive spaceship into it with no concerns and we just roll credits.

Anyways, guess I'll start Prometheus and Covenant tomorrow.

And so we return to the here and now so that I can tell you the “Stepping Stone” project must be crowd funded to circumnavigate the Three Principalities of our modern society.

Through crowd funding we can Circumnavigate the most dangerous Principalities (International banking, IMF) which would most certainly find reasons Not to fund / or interrupt the flow of money toward research manufacturer and construction. Banks do not loan money or condone projects that don't in their opinion return investment with interest... a colonization vessel design to leave earth with no need to return , I’m sure, would be considered an uncollectible debt, thus No Financing.

It would be my objective to crowd fund the entire project in order to side step banking, investments, loans etc. entirely. Which brings up the question of how would we handle the crowd funding revenue.

I recommend we put the crowd funding revenue in a trust fund on the security of a legal firm of attorneys that represent the “Stepping Stone Project” as a whole regardless of who is spear heading board of directors. At any given moment to ensure a continuous flow of the necessary proceeds to build a project. Set the whole thing up as an S – corp. with a non- profit 401c3.

Generally I consider myself asymmetrically opposed to corporatocracy but in the case of the “Stepping Stone” project I can very easily see alliances and allegiance that will be absolutely necessary in the corporate and industrial world to accomplish the “Stepping Stone” project.

Do the other companions have special comments or reactions upon recruiting your Tav?

I could easily see several companions mentioning how he is found (gathering ingredients as he considers poisoning himself), either because it shows initiative with handling the infection (Lae'zel) or out of sympathy (Gale). Wyll might see something familiar in his face, but can't place him.       Astarion might not approve of bringing along the private and paranoid man, who could really use a bath. Also, despite looking like a hermit ranger, his clothes are high quality, even if they've seen better days, implying they might be stolen.

What do they say when the Player Character asks them to stay in camp?  How about when the Player Character asks them to come adventuring again?

Does your Tav have any escalating conflicts with one of the other companions, like Lae’zel and Shadowheart’s knife-fight?

Nothing that severe (probably) but once the camp finds out that Gortash is one of the Chosen Three, there is a potential conflict between Vigor and Karlach over his decision not to attack Gortash years ago.

Are there any moments in the game that trigger unique dialogue for your character? (Like Gale’s anecdote about the bar fight after you save the goblin prisoner) 

After helping Oskar Fevras, Vigor will mention hearing about the artist, and possibly meeting him in the past. He will then go on to talk about a gallery showing he once attended in the Lower City, dedicated to a less famous artist who used an impressionist style. Their work moved him more than any displays he had seen in the Upper City, trapped away in manor houses, not as expressions of passion, but merely gauche displays of wealth.

If romanced, how do they react to the Dark Urge trying to kill them in Act 2?

If they're open about the urges, he will be concerned but understanding. He isn't hurt, so his own feelings of safety take a back seat while he focuses on keeping them calm, restraining them as necessary. If they do kill him, Vigor will die believing that their relationship was just a trick, all part of his punishment for his past. If he is aware of the urges when he dies, he'll pity his love, knowing their hand is being forced.

Does your Tav need to be flirted with to start the romance, or will they approach the PC themselves if approval is high enough?

The player can flirt with him at the tiefling party to start the romance. Otherwise, he will make a comment in Act II if approval is very high, opening up the opportunity again.

Do they have a special romance scene at the tiefling/goblin party?

Someone tell me if this is too similar to a canon character scene, because I have done one play through, and I am not googling every single romance route to check like a methodical pervert. But yes, if he has high approval, Vigor will take the player to a quiet, beautiful spot not too far from the camp. He wants the player to enjoy the view of the river and meadows, share a blanket (completely wrapped up together), and maybe kiss if they feel like it 🥺

What questions can Zethino ask the PC about Tav in the Love Test?
