I know on Ao3 you can filter for reader insert fics with your favorite characters and stuff, but how do I filter for reader insert fics where the reader doesn’t like end up in a romantic entanglement with a character, but just beats up a character? Like how would that be labeled? There’s gotta be fics out there where the protagonist just beats the ever living shit out of The Metatron for breaking up Aziraphale and Crowley and I need to find it like right now

This is a funny situation, because I wanted to recommend a fic for an ITMF, but I can't find it anywhere.

It was a canon divergence AU, where WWX gets depression and PTSD because YZY tried to kill him by drowning him in the lotus pond for a harmless prank (he changed the colour of the sect leaders teas during a conference). The Lans take him in, but it takes some effort to bring him out of his depressed state.

Also, he now panics at the sight and smell of lotuses.

Part 1

"We have your son."

Bruce was expecting a very normal day. If you consider having to deal with the chaos of his children and being a vigilante at night as normal.

But nonetheless, a very simple day of his normal routine and once a week dinner with his family.

Only to be broken by a phone call by someone stating that his son has been kidnapped.

Bruce didn't answer right away, he was mentally counting his sons who, are all counted for, are on the dinner table.

"Which one?" Bruce eyed each of his sons and counted them again just to be sure.

"Timothy Drake-Wayne."

Bruce immediately eyed Tim who was sitting in between Jason and Cass.

Tim's here.

Then who's the one being kidnapped?

"Bruce?" Dick spoke up, thinking that something was wrong the way Bruce was looking at all of them.

Bruce slightly waved at Dick, telling him to calm down first. "What do you want?"

Dick's question seemed to catch everyone's attention since they were all looking at Bruce now.

"Two Million. Or he gets it."

A standard threat. The kind he was expecting.

"Can I speak to my son?" This earned confused looks of his children and Bruce waved them off gesturing that it was not what they were thinking about.

"Alright kid," The kidnapper from the other said grunted, almost sounding smug. "Say hello to Daddy."

Bruce could hear heavy breathing, almost sounding like a grunt. It made Bruce slightly worried. "...Tim?" Bruce decided to speak first. "Tim, Are you okay?" And Bruce hopes that he is.

A soft grunt responded. "Hi." A croaked voice managed to respond. It sounded young. And was punched in the stomach. He should know, almost all of his children had experienced that way.

"Don't worry, chum. I'm getting you out of there." Bruce tried reassuring the kid, worried about what they might do to him. Because this isn't Tim. Tim is right across from him and these kidnappers basically had kidnapped the wrong person.

He gestured to his children, a familiar gesture, for them to head to the cave and suit up. They quickly followed, not without worried glances and confused glances at Bruce's way.

"No.." The kid had said, choked out which made Bruce paused on his step in confusion. It caught his children's attention, stopping as well.

"Uhm...Dad? I'll be fine."

Bruce believed that, for some reason, but it didn't stop his worry. But the next words from the boy made him blink

"Please give me your permission."

"....To what?" Bruce asked confusingly. Permission to what?

"To hurt."

Bruce has raised enough children to know enough about silent words in some part of the sentences without right out saying it.

To hurt them.

The kid is asking permission to hurt his kidnappers.

Bruce should say no and wait for help. Should be saying that help is on the way.

Bruce should say that he'll come and save him.

Now, Bruce doesn't normally follow his gut. It causes too much mystery and had no explanation to either it would be a good thing or a bad thing.

But right now, for once, Bruce would agree with his gut.

"....Alright."

Static came in the phone, like it was losing signal but he could clearly hear the boy voice coming out like an echo.

"Good."

"What the-- AAAHHH!!!"

Bruce blinked as he looked down at his phone after the call ended.

.....Should he have not give him permission?

"B? What's wrong? Did something happen?" Dick asked, increasingly worried now as he saw Bruce staring at his phone.

"....Suit up." Bruce concluded. They should find the boy as quickly as possible. "And call an ambulance."

Bruce could see the confused look at everyone's faces as he walked passed them.

"Wait, B!" Duke had spoke up running after Bruce with his siblings. "Was someone hurt? Is it another gang fight?"

"No. The ambulance is for the kidnappers."

".....What??"

If anyone knows of a crack fic where Jason and Damian are fighting over who has the highest kill count, and it turns into this large thing with like a betting pool. So Oracle takes over and spends like a week determining exactly how many deaths each person has caused.

I think it went Steph and Duke at the bottom with 0, Cass with 1, Dick with 11, then Jason and Damian, and finally Tim in like the 10,000s.

It was funny as far as I remember

looking for one of those "Jason is suddenly trusted with a small child and becomes a father" fics. Jason has a panic attack and calls bruce, who is busy being held hostage by the joker. The Joker allows the call to go through and the moment Bruce hears his son crying for help, he beats the joker half to death with a chair and destroys a car in an attempt to get to jason faster.

All I remember is it's a TimKon clone baby Dcxdp where Danny was taken by clockwork as a baby and put with the Fentons because Tim was unstable. Then when he deems it safe again in DC (Tim and Kon are grieving cuz Tim made a clone baby AND "lost" the said baby but they have worked it out and are now dating) CW sends Danny back to DC but with his original age. I'm pretty sure there was a scene where Danny was knocking on a window trying to get their attention as he's asking Tim and Kon if they know who his parents are (cuz CW told him he'll send him to them) and the two are close to crying they're pretty sure Danny is their missing baby.

basically danny overshadows tim and they end up talking to each other out loud? But the batfamily has no idea what's really going on and think that tim has a split personality due to stress (bruce specifically talks about how similar it is to what happened to harvey). At some point Tim mentions that they can't bother bruce for a hug and danny despairs because he likes bruces hugs! but neither realize they're talking in front of the man and bruce is heartbroken.

Does anyone know the TFA Megop fic were Megatron gets the all spark and ends the war. Then sets up an arranged marriage for peace between civilians and war frames and the council is like here you can have this Prime it's defective. There is a whole wedding scene were they get dressed up and drink special Energon.

Lost fic

Okay so I was just reading this fic DPXDC and Dani( Ellie not sure what she's called in the fic) was adopted by the Batfam and Danny was struggling in Amity park.

They kept in contact and Danny was low-key jealous that Ellie was living a happy life while he was suffering but didn't want to impose cause he wanted her to find her own self or whatever.

Ellie is becoming really close with the Gotham family and it's going good for her.

Ellie has no idea about Danny's struggles and he's probably going to get Visected cause the Fenton parents were getting worse.

That's all I remember.

Bruce is immediately suspicious of him and proceeds to traumatize this small child for the next few years until Jason returns

Jason, finding that this small child killed his murderer at the tender age of 7-10 (not sure) and has been relentlessly hunted by Batman ever since, immediately becomes protector to tim

Eventually dick and Alfred also join this team and last I recall they were all camping out in a penthouse, leaving Bruce isolated in the manor

Might be deleted? I hope not but the Tim Kills the Joker tag on ao3 is not long and I have looked

Part 1

DCxDP Snippet/Drabbles

(Danny is in college with Jazz in Gotham.)

Danny had a lot to do in his day.

Wake up, shower, get dressed, have Breakfast with Jazz, Go to Morning classes, get lunch, go to afternoon classes, go home, have dinner with Jazz and sleep.

Simple right?

It would have been a pretty normal day.

Excepting Being kidnapped wasn't on the list.

Danny would have escaped easily, using intangibility to phase out his restraint and to the floor and just fly home.

He would have done that if it weren't for the idiot #1 mistaken him for someone else.

"I can't believe it's easy to kidnap the famous Tim Drake-Wayne." Idiot #1 crackled as if it was his greatest achievement.

"Now, let's just get Wayne a picture of his precious son and get the money." Idiot #2 says, having that disgusting smirk.

Danny being an idiot, spoke up. "Hate to break it to you, fella s but I'm not-- Gah!"

Danny was punched on the stomach, he choked as he breathed in, not that he needs to but it was a reflex.

"Shut up." They sneered and Danny had an urge to punch the guy. Then he thought about what if this Tim guy would have been in his position, it flared his protective instincts. He might not know the guy but thinking about it just made him mad.

"Alright kid," Suddenly a phone was in front of him when Danny lifted his head up to see. Since when did they make a phone call? "Say hello to Daddy."

Daddy?

Right. Tim Drake-Wayne is Bruce Wayne's Son.

"...Tim?" A deep voice came from the phone. It sounded unsure, Danny thinks this man knows it wasn't really his son who was kidnapped. "Tim, Are you okay?" But still played along with it. Probably for Danny's safety. He does sound worried.

Danny didn't answer only to breathe in and out. "Hi." Danny says, choking it out for special effect.

"Don't worry, chum. I'm getting you out of there." Danny thinks he'll believe him. And he felt like those words were actually directed at him.

"No.." Danny whispered. He felt bad, but at least he'll give him some relief? "Uhm...Dad? I'll be fine." Danny says, thinking of what else to say. "Please give me your permission."

"...To what?"

"To hurt." Them

The Idiots snickered as if it was funny. Danny thanks the universe for making them allow him to last the call this long.

"....Alright."

Danny felt his lips crept up, he could feel his own powers flaring as he looked up at the Idiots who kidnapped him. he could see the tint of green in the area.

"Good."

(To tell you the truth, I just saw the word Kidnapped and Eldritch in different sentences and it made this idea of a fic)

Its has been so long since I thought about this fic but I recently thought about it again and have not been able to find it anywhere so I have to guess it was deleted. It was an M/M original work on Ao3 that I probably read in about 2021. The story was a guy falls into a coma and body swaps with best friend's husband. The guy is very homophobic but starts to fall in love with his best friend but has to pretend that he is still the husband. He eventually wakes up from his coma and has to win over his best friend. (Yes there was smut and a lot of it). Any tips would be helpful, bc I am losing my mind.
