no more infighting over identity labels. i just saw a post where op listed various queer identity microlabels, sorted into two categories under "support" and "don't support". It was super silly, but also made me frustrated and sad. so here's my message to my fellow severely online queers: other queer people are not your enemy. you might think their labels are nonsense, or contradictory, or even offensive - learn to accept this. remember what you are fighting for: freedom of identity, freedom of expression, bodily autonomy, liberation from binary-hetero-patriarchy. FOR ALL! playing identity cop is utterly counterproductive to the cause.

Here's your sign to let your identity flow peacefully outside the box. Your personality is just a concept so it makes sense that your identity doesn't completely fit any man made constructs, and that's OK!! You don't have to use labels, or you can use them all!! You can use a label just because it feels just a little like you. You can use labels even if they contradict each other. You can let your identity pour out any social standard, and just exist, exist as it is fully and freely. We are all such complex creatures, living life as it is. As long as you aren't causing harm, just let yourself be YOURSELF!!

Have any of your listener designs become the canon version? And for who if so?

Listeners are definitely tricky as they're supposed to be audience stand ins, BUT there have been a few cases where my listeners have become the VAs personal canon!

First one that comes to mind is Faith Koria from @goodboyaudios Bastard Warrior!

I came to GB with the concept that she had more African features, and he loved the idea and made it canon to his canon! Hence why the official art of her brother is also black! Now that Faith has an official voice, she's more of a character then a listener. So you can consider this art accurate to her character!

Another option would be Raven from @escapedaudios Neon Noir, but that's a more complicated story

I headcanoned that Raven got a Crow tattoo on her back, shoulder and neck to memorialize Crow at the end of the series and going into Neon Wings. Escaped really liked the idea! but my headcanons had already infected enough of that series and I felt bad, so I asked him to not include that one lol You can blame a lot of Ivan's look and backstory on me though! I came up with his birds and their names, his prosthetic leg, and his actual design!

There's a user going around currently reblogging/commenting on antiLO content with the intent of "digging up dirt" on people who simply read and enjoy the comic. Basically demanding the OP's of such posts to inform them of any 'stans' so they can add them to a 'list' that they absolutely do not have any good intentions to do with, along with making some very unsavory and completely unwarranted comments about the fans in general (and I don't mean the usual "lmao LO fans are weird/dumb/etc." stuff, I mean genuinely cruel wishes to have the fans of the comic doxxed/harmed/etc.) I have blocked this user for obvious reasons, and if you get a similar reblog or DM like I did from this person, I hope you'll do the same.

Please do not play into this. As much as I and many others talk shit about this dumpster fire of a comic and its questionable if not outright controversial writing and messaging, none of us have any right to go after any of the fans or stans directly. At best that would just be proving to the fans who already hate this part of the fandom that we're boogeymen out to get people, at worst it would be a betrayal to our own integrity as human beings who should be capable of discussing media without turning it into a harassment campaign. Making shitposts about the media and the fandom is fine, discussing the media itself and the creator who made it within our own little spaces of the Internet is ultimately harmless so long as it's managed within reason, but deliberately going out of your way to dig up personal information on innocent people within the fandom for the purpose of ruining their life is not okay and if you ever get to that point where you're trying to rationalize going after people directly, you need to log off.

i literally love tim’s mind and how his mind connects dots SO EASILY. like he looked at ohn and his glitching, and instead of thinking it was an isolated incident, due to him being a scientist/mutant he went “yep. Yep. Peters got this too. Gotta let em know” and in the same convo told them. I think it’s the communication? Like how he communicated this pretty easily with Dick and Peter that’s making my brain go “brrrr FINALLY GOOD COMMUNICATION SKILLS”

it drives me up the wall when things that should be talked about immediately aren't,,, especially considering that in real life, the first thing you would do in that situation is go to someone you trust and say "dude you are not gonna believe what just happened" and then would try to tell them everything from the beginning to now. it's different when it's an insecurity or when someone is actively avoiding talking about something, but i try to clear up emotional issues as fast as they happen. because miscommunication is only fun when it adds to the story and doesn't make you want to tear your hair out
