I have TWO where I've written the ONLY fanfics for the pairing. (Also, just fair warning, these are Adult Only fics lol.)

1: Mass Effect - Commander Shepard (Nonbinary)/Mako (the vehicle used in Mass Effect). Shepard's gambling problem runs their budget dry and they have to get creative to fundraise for more supplies. Shepard decides to cam it up since they're a famous hero now.

2: Homestuck - Dirk Strider/Dammek ('Antler Troll' before he was named). Shipped solely for the fact that they both wear sunglasses, soon after Dammek's appearance (only his appearance) was announced. He wasn't even named, so that was something I had to work around, along with giving him a blank slate personality. Dream bubbles make anything possible.

This was written after I already pulled notes for my lightning fast Antler Troll cosplay 1 hour after the announcement was made where he was shown. I love having a claim to fame.

Honourable mention: I was the second person to write Borderlands - Claptrap/Reader, but since then, the tag has exploded to a whopping 6 works. You'd think there would be more.

Have you watched "Jesus Christ Superstar"? If so, what did you think of it?

Jesus Christ Superstar is in my top three favorite musicals - and I lettered in theatre and choir in high school so my list of favorite musicals is hilariously long.

Setting aside any discussion of the music and lyrics first, let's talk about the narrative. The story is very much about the humanity of it all - and how society treats their heroes. The tension between Jesus, Judas and Mary is a debate about how we balance (or fail to balance) our dedication to a movement over our devotion for individuals. And it features table flipping Jesus!!

Mary is devoted to Jesus as a person. "He's a man, he's just a man" she tells us. She focuses on comforting and caring for him. But in her concern for him individually, she has little demonstrated interest in his work to better the world.

Judas is dedicated to the movement. He is (justifiably) concerned that people are losing sight of Jesus as a prophet, making him into an idol instead of a visionary leader. But in his fervor for the movement, he forgets the individual. He seems unaware just how weighed down Jesus is, and likewise disparages Mary asking why Jesus would "waste his time on women of her kind."

As for Jesus? Poor Messiah is conflicted. He is overwhelmed by what is asked of him by both his followers and his detractors. He is reduced by The People to what he can provide to them, and by The Man to how he can give them influence. And he is resigned because he knows that he has obtained a level of notoriety without authority where he has few options left - his death is pretty inevitable for the sake of the movement.

You know who NEVER makes an appearance? God. God is absolutely silent and absent. Because in the end, Jesus Christ Superstar is not about God at all. It's about how the black and white thinking - devotion to individuals OR dedication to movements - both fail to actually provide us with the society we need.

Now, is the musical itself a bit clunky and cheesey? Oh yeah, definitely. But that is the charm of it. Rock opera just has an inherent kitsch to it that I adore. But it's also clever. Outraged religious leaders so often miss the actual point of the story which is also amusing. And I love the 1973 movie version, but I have loved every live performance I've ever seen. The message remains extremely relevant. And our family watches the movie every December.

And yes, in case anyone is curious, I am certain Aziraphale and Crowley saw JCS live. I bet Crowley loved it and spent weeks afterwards humming "Damned For All Time" to himself. Aziraphale probably refused to comment on the content, just being a snide bastard about the quality of the lyrics, then went home and cried over "I Don't Know How to Love Him."

#5) Who is the cheesier of the two?

Raph is greyromantic and never really understood the appeal of those horribly cheesey one-liners and such in movies and TV, especially because Leo is famous for them & it was annoying as hell. But the moment he tried one out on Sharron (as a joke) and saw her flustered, happy reaction, he had a lightbulb moment where it finally clicked. In a sorta comical way, he started studying/researching more cheesey ways to show his affections because, by God, if those awful one liners are gonna make her laugh & smile like that, why the hell wouldn't he?

In the very early days of their dating life, there were some shenanigans where his brothers (mainly Leo, unfortunately/lh) would hide out nearby and try to whisper or encourage him on what to say. And...it failed miserably in the funniest ways possible, as you can imagine. "I like the orange color of your eyes, they- uh-- they remind me of --oranges...w-which are sweet, like you."

It actually gets bad enough that Sharron starts getting put of by it bc she can tell he's forcing it, and it becomes a whole conversation. In the end (and to answer your original question) Sharron becomes the one who's the cheesiest just because it comes more naturally to her (and Raph does love it, he gets giggly and blushes a lot despite himself)

#34 How do they cheer the other one up during sad times?

Sharron has a foolproof way of cheering Raph up that works whether she's physically there to comfort him or not. And that's to send him random pictures of funny animals and give them silly names. "This one is Jerry - he wants to know if you have games on your phone. And this one is Adam - he is late to every meme, he just learned about 'pog' this week. Cringe...And this one is Krystal - that one neighbour who disapprovingly peeks over ur fence everytime u have a party." It gets him to laugh, as distracts him from the negative thoughts that are bringing him down. Plus he loves animals, how can he be sad when there's cute pictures of puppies being silly on his screen?

Raph learned really quickly that Sharron responds best to simply being given space to allow the sadness to pass on its own, while still being there to physically comfort her. Which is good bc he's not the best with words anyway. She can get frustrated and overstimulated easily sometimes, and words can get hard to process/express. If she's having a bad day, just holding her hand or hugging her or even sitting and leaning against her in solidarity will help. Bonus if they put on a comfort movie or watch funny cat memes/favorite YouTuber channels until she's calmed down.

AITA for trying to some-what help my classmates relationship

I (12 NBY) go to a junior high and this just happened and its so wild

so these two classmates who ill call A (12 M) and C (12 F) were flirting in the school cafetiria and it was so cheesey i could practically smell it, and everyone agreed that it was so boring :/ they were just too perfect! in the end they broke up right then and there and my brother , D (12 agender) was kinda dissapointed in me

i went over to say sorry to C (while being prickled) and she MADE ME TRY TO MAKE THE GUY JEALOUS SO SHE CAN WIN HIM BACK and i did not want to do this but it was too late to say no

she wanted me to kiss her to make A angry and try to fight back for her, one the guy is too nice you couldnt make him pissed off if you want to two I DIDNT WANT MY GIRLFRIEND (ill call P, 12 nby) TO SEE ME AND MAKE HER UPSET so i asked D to distract her while i was doing this

i was trying to tell her this, and because we were outside and some dude couldnt score a basketball game, the ball hit me and I HEADBUTTED HER AND HER PRICKLES GOT INTO MY FACE and EVERYONE thought i kiss her

A didnt even do anything (even if he wanted to, the dude was a balloon what was he to do) and just floated away, and didnt 'fight back for his love' like C wanted to

so everyone in the school now HATED me and WANTED THEM BACK AS A COUPLE?? WHAT THE WHAT?? they even picked on me while in class because of this :/

now heres the kicker, this other girl, M (12 M) asked me to help her because she has a plan to make them back together, and listen shes the rich kid i couldnt say no even if i wanted to tbh

her plan was to spread rumors of her and A being a couple so C can instead fight for her love, again this didnt help and she kinda looked like a sad sponge (since C kinda cant really dispose of tears its complicated)

in the end i found out that this was a ploy by M to get together with A (had a massive crush on this guy) and it was her true motive, threatend to tell my girlfriend that i 'killed' C but it turned out P knew about it because D ran out of milkshakes to throw at her (but its ok because C explained to P everything)

alot of chaos insued, a literal storm brewed and me, P, D and C had to save A from M's storm and in the end we ended up in the cafethiriea, M was like "why wont you date me" and C and A responded "because we love eachother :)" and M was like "you are such a wet cheeseball ://" and left

A and C were back together and now everyone hated them again

(pretty sure D was still salty abt me insulting C, when i wasked P to not be like this D said smth like "theres no risk because youre not going out w eachother" and P splashed him w a milkshake god that was hilarious)

it's strange how much I write from discomfort, even if I don't recognize it. how even those those two-odd months, which were so painfully beautiful in so many ways, left me so worried, disparaged, confused, and cold. how someone I love, unbearably, slowly eroded my smile. I can't say he didn't make me happy, at times. because he did, he still does. he means everything to me. but he runs about himself with a shadow, has since the beginning. he's the boy I've always tried to fix, always wanted to fix. but I couldn't even keep him from my pain, so maybe it's time to let go. love him, from a distance.

but I started writing on here at the beginning of him. and now that the end of him has come and gone around, I find myself rather at a loss for words.

I shouldn't be. the boy from before, the boy who is both first, second, and third, he's back in my life, and it's so, so so wonderfully better. I am so full of peace. and I'm smiling again, the kind of smile that throws your head back, eyes creased closed, mouth slightly agape. it is as much a full-bodied laugh as it is orgasmic; it is the sigh of relief that comes after holding your breath in too long. it is elation. but if I am so happy, so comfortable, so at terrible ease, what's keeping me from memorializing it? etching it in stone, in ink, in marker against my wall? that pretty boy I almost fell in love with last summer, I could write about him just fine. but was I not so uncertain then, too? wasn't I always left wondering? that's what my writing shows. discomfort makes me write poetry. I wrote endless poetry about that boy.

I know I'm not alone with this. my firstsecondthird, he's told me time and time again how the songs he writes are always sad. he wrote a song about me, when he was still the first, or afterwards at least, and he wrote it so bittersweet, so slow. my head spun around in spider thin circles after he played it to me, winding me almost nearly to the point of tears. I held him so tight, unblinking, remembered how my heart dropped as soon as he started singing. how it continued to overflow and unravel after every line. how it hurt like love sometime does, even if it's not love at all. how deeply I understood his care for me. his comfort, his shape.

I do write to joy. when I do, I talk about nature. I talk about the sun. I talk about life.

I've had more people compare me to the sun, or sunshine, in some way or another this last month more than ever before. a little ray of sunshine. I think I really am so happy. people can feel it too.

he wants to write another song about me, a happy one. how do you write a love song that is happy, but isn't cheesey? how do I write about the incredible ways I feel about him without sounding so cliche.

I don't consider this poetry. but any uncertainty I feel is curiosity, and hope. or it's things I don't know, things I don't understand, things from my past that would spin me for a loop anyways. I'm not worried.

maybe it'll go somewhere, maybe it won't. but gods above, isn't it worth it if I'm happy. isn't it worth it if he only kisses my cheek when I ask him to, doesn't touch me if I ask him not to, doesn't call me sweetheart, doesn't question my sexuality, doesn't care that I know so little. he read my essay right away. instantly, he knew my pain. so isn't it so, so just, god maybe I can call it perfect here, that he also makes me feel joy? peace? and isn't it worth it because he makes me hot chocolate? asks about my passions and feelings? makes me music? isn't it all worth it when he pulls me closer by the waist of my jeans to kiss me in the elevator, when he lets me in when I ask him questions, when he smiles, oh, oh when he smiles all of it makes sense.

When he had first asked you out, you knew he had been worried about the fact that he couldn’t romance you like normal. No restaurant dates, no strolls through the city, no even going out onto The Last Drop’s floor to dance. But you hadn’t minded that, in fact you adored your secret little dinners, the soft slow dances you’d have in his office. You had even grown to love family dinners with Jinx, who sometimes had to intrude on your planned date nights.

Living together had only increased that bond. Jinx had become an even more permanent fixture in your life. That solidarity together, and you hadn’t minded some nights where you’d all just be on the couch, his head in your lap while you played with his hair and Jinx would be playing with a toy. Sometimes you’d even read to them.

So you were a little startled when his ‘surprise’ date was to take you out to a restaurant. You turned to him, and Silco was smiling so softly. “Do you like it?”

Your stomach churned, but you smiled. He had made an effort. “How come here?”

“Everyone knows about Jinx now. They know not to mess with our girl.” His smile only grew as he wrapped an arm around your waist, dragging you in close. “But I wanted everyone to know not to mess with my partner.”

Oh. Was all you could think, and gave a brief nod. A soft kiss on your cheek was a reward before you entered the building.

And it was packed. It must’ve been a busy night, but Silco had made sure the reservation had a booth. You still felt your stomach turn when the hostess’s eyes flicked between the two of you, before she led you to the booth Silco had requested.

You were placed in the side opposite of him, but he made no time to gently knock a foot against your own. Smiling when you looked up. “Sevika said the food here is quite good.”

“Explains why it’s so busy here.” You said, glancing up over your menu. You saw a table only a few feet from your own put their heads down when your gaze flicked up. Your stomach churned again, and your chest felt a little tight. You simply tapped your fingers against the edge of the menu, trying to just keep engaging in conversation with your boyfriend.

Everyone’s eyes kept flicking over to your booth. You ordered your food, something light because you felt far more sick as the night was progressing. Your fingers then moved to playing with the edge of the table cloth.

Silco’s blue eye narrowed at you. “You’re awfully quiet tonight. I’ve had to start all the conversations, and you’ve barely responded to them.”

You frowned, trying to swallow the immediate guilt that came up. Your fingers worry the cloth between them and swirl it into a pattern before letting go. Then repeating the action. “Sorry, I’m just getting distracted.”

He mirrored your frown. “What’s so distracting?”

Your throat was tight. And when you glanced around at everyone, again, you turned to him. You kept your voice low, not wanting anyone to over hear. “I know you planned this, and it’s so sweet and thoughtful. I don’t want to ruin it, I-”

“How would you ruin it?” His frown was deepening, and this time he reached over the table. The feel of his hand holding your own soothed you a little but you could see the flickering eyes still, the soft voices you couldn’t make out. That tightness in your chest felt like it was squeezing around your heart.

“I hate eating out in public. I hate being out in public.” You admitted softly, and you hated how your voice had begun to crack. “I love being a homebody with you. And it was so sweet that you planned this, and I’m-”

You were cut off with Silco suddenly standing up. He drew himself out from his side of the booth, and easily slid in next to your own. God you could’ve started ugly crying right then. Instead you gave a sniff and did your best to blink back any tears, arms moving to tightly wrap around his middle. “I’m sorry.”

He kissed your crown next, bringing you in even tighter, till your cheek was pressing against his chest. When he leaned his head slightly out of the booth, your waitress was there within moments. “We’ve changed our minds. We’re going to be doing take out instead.”

You blinked up at him. That tightness in your chest suddenly bursting out, imploding into your veins. You loved him. He knew that because you told him once a day, but god you wanted to kiss him.

The waitress understood and made sure everything was packed away nicely for the two of you. Silco gave her a few extra coins in her tip for that.

He carried the take out box of food, and held your hand tightly as you left. A small stroll back to the apartment.

It wasn’t long before you two were curled up on the couch, bellies full and you felt far more relaxed. Curled up on his chest while you both laid there, his hand running over your back. You hummed against him, turning your head so your chin was instead resting flat against him. “Why did you choose a restaurant anyway, over the Drop?”

You could feel his body stiffen beneath you. “I thought it’d be the most romantic.”

You smiled a little at that. “That’s sweet.” You turned your head back to your cheek against his chest, nuzzling a little into him. “I prefer romantic gestures at home though.”

He hadn’t relaxed beneath your touch, still tense and silent. A quick glance upwards you could see Silco’s face frozen, staring at the ceiling. After a moment his body moved slightly, though he kept one hand on your back. He reached for his coat, digging into the pocket.

The box he tugged out was small, just big enough for - oh. Oh.

You were sitting up quickly. Remembering his words from before. “But I wanted everyone to know not to mess with my partner.” His partner. His partner.

You met his gaze as he joined you in sitting up. He turned to face you completely. He gave a small swallow, and you watched his lips part. “Will you-”

“Yes!” You squealed out far too quickly, feeling your blood thrum in your veins for entirely new reasons. You could see his shoulders began to shake, the slight curve of his smile.

You attacked his face with your own mouth, before he had time to put on the ring. But when he did, his own smile almost took your breath away. Before he did, barely giving you more time to breathe as he kissed you.

“Dad,” a voice called, interrupting your impromptu makeout session. “Did they say yes?”

You lifted up the ring hand, flashing it towards Jinx, who gave a worse squeal than you had. Breaking the kiss between the two of you, as you fell into fits of laughter.

And soon you knew you’d always be happy and safe at home, with your family surrounding you. And you knew no matter what happened, so long as everyone was here: it would all be okay. That the tightness in your chest would leave each time one of them hugged you, or they held your hands while they helped you count your breaths.

And if you ever needed a reminder of all that love and safety, all you had to do was look down and see it on your finger.

A Case of Romantic Attraction

For some unknown reason, earlier today I was feeling a ridiculous amount of romantic attraction towards my crush- waaaay more than usual. More than ever before. Normally I have a hard time telling romantic attraction from some other kind to the point where I’ve wondered if maybe I’m aro-spec. So before I forget what this feels like, I’ll describe it. Hopefully this will help out a few questioning/curious aros.

If I had to describe it in one word, that word would be “yearning.” He wasn’t even around, but I felt this major longing in my chest. Sort of an ache, with a pull to it. I kept having all of these romantic fantasies running through my head. Of him being beside me forever. Caring for me. Declaring his undying love for me. All that cheesey, Hallmark Channel bullshit. I even started thinking about children. I don’t even want kids! I never have!!! And yet I occasionally wondered what kind of father he would be. 

My stream of conscious this morning was never-ending, flowery prose about how much I ~love~ him. (I actually don’t because you can’t love someone you don’t know. But try telling my dopamine-flooded brain that.) I don’t know if any of the younger folk reading this know the old Nicktoon Hey Arnold, but those who do- Remember when Helga would go on dramatically about how much she loves Arnold? That was my entire thought process, but replace “Arnold” with his name and there you have it that sums this whole experience up. All I needed was a heart-shaped locket with his picture in it.

And after a couple hours of dealing with that shit, my sexual attraction towards him flared up to distraction-levels which was just the cherry on top of the shit sundae.

Thank God all of these feelings have died down, but for those who wanted to know more about what romantic attraction is like, there you go. It’s just as horrific and vomit-inducing as it sounds.

So far my favourite episodes in order are 4-6-1-2-3-5

Listen, 6 so far has the highest stakes, the most worldbuilding, lore, a really interesting plot going for it and insight on magic/blot, et cetera.  I also feel like it’s not just an aesthetic/mood thing with seeing that line greeting Ortho at the very end, it feels meta tying into the nature of what TWST’s universe actually is.   Objectively speaking it should be my favourite, but I am biased and still really love the story and drama in Episode 4. Jamil is so fucking extra doing desert death marches because he is That Bitch.

After that, 1 acts as a solid introduction to the initial routine of the story, and I think my favourite thing for it is Hanae Natsuki's performance as Riddle. He really ties it together, especially during the climax when Riddle starts flipping his shit. The intensity and emotion behind his voice really shines for me there.

2 is just. Objectively the worst of the episode writing. It really is. I've got nothing nice to say about how it goes about things nor what it does to the fandom's reading comprehension because it just fucking undermines Leona's character despite it being about him. This just ties into my enjoyment of control because I do enjoy the range of possibilities I can explore by looking at all that lost potential and discussing how it could've been so much more.

3 just honest to god does nothing for me. The Octatrio's whole schtick never appealed to me so I never felt much during their episode. That's really all there is to it. Its writing is fine, and Azul's backstory works well, but ultimately it hinges too much on the edge high schoolers roleplaying as some mafia club for me to have any real investment in it.

5 lost so much potential because 50% of it ended up just being idol training boot camp to showcase how overbearing Vil gets despite us already knowing that long before. It starts out strong, the middle slogs, and by the end it's just hopelessly confused on what characters it wants to focus on and focuses on, frankly, the wrong characters (like, seriously? Epel's magical 180 IMMEDIATELY after literally crying out of frustration, growing up under sexist ideas, having a long-standing conflict with Vil since the beginning of the year? And ONE instance is enough to change Epel's mind? Miss me with that shit, they just didn't want to deal with actually exploring Epel's shitty mindset, and actually having him gradually and NATURALLY learn on his own and just paints all of Vil's bullshit as 'actually correct'. What Vil SAYS is right, about Epel's sexism, yes. But the way he goes about it never gets addressed in a satisfactory way without some other dipshit ruining the scene (usually grim or ace for the sake of 'comedy' or whatever).

Not to mention Deuce having so much spotlight compared to Jamil and Kalim, when in previous episodes the dorm members assisting in other Episodes had plenty of good moments showcasing their skills at their best compared to Kalim getting one (2) meaningful scenes.

I could go on more eloquently about Episode 5's identity crisis but that's a post for another day.

By far and large my favourite event is (again, biased) Al'ab Nariya - it came as a pleasant surprise that it wasn't 100% orientalist bullshit. It's a fun event learning about the Scarabia duo's city AND we get Najma Viper, a true icon.

After that, I think the Star-Sending event is my favourite.  It’s just a fun event with nice insight on characters’ desires (minus Leona, Vil, etc you know the usual characters TWST has a death grip on when it comes to writing them) and ambitions.  Also the outfits slap.

 I do appreciate GM for going against the grain and criticising the usual ‘true love’ expectations of idealising what a proper ‘lover’ (specifically prince but i digress) should be like, and how being uncompromising in that isn’t healthy.  I also think it adds interesting depth to the event characters in it.

Halloween Round 1 certainly happened.  I like Round 2 better, it has a solid start, a fun middle, but the ending feels really anticlimactic even if logically speaking everyone expected it to be that way since it involves the game’s ‘poster boy’ and how hyped up his powers are, alongside playing into that concept of Fae and their fucked up sense of humour/morality.  I REALLY don’t like how they somehow justified all the bullshit that happened considering everyone else thought they were in genuine danger and somehow that was THEIR fault despite the shit going on?  Hello?

Beans Day just doesn’t do it for me lol.

Meanwhile I wish I could enjoy Fairy Gala since it has my faves in it but it's just Advanced Racism/Colourism and I can't wait for another round of bullying the fandom over it if the EN localisation doesn't roll a 20 on intelligence when translating it.

The stamp rally homeland events generally I see being my favourites down the line, but Grim's especially insufferable in the Harveston event and I need to writers to understand having a godforsaken mascot CONSTANTLY interrupting interesting dialogue/scenes to complain about being hungry is just lazy writing and a sign of not having a single funny bone in their body if this is their idea of humourous characterisation.

Hell yeah! Tbh I feel like movie nights would be some of the most frustrating nights in Wayne manor, just cause everyone is hella opinionated. Like they take turns letting each other choose movies but even then they fight for at least an hour over what was chosen. But here's what each member typically chooses when it's their turn. Also I briefly mention their reactions in here but I'll probs do a Batfam Movie Night dialogue, fic, series, thingy (??? Idk what to call those things) and I'll link it back to this ask when I do. Dick:

Genres— Musicals, Rom Coms, Spy Movies

Favorite Movies— Mamma Mia, Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again, The Greatest Showman, Notting Hill, Pretty Woman, A Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Kingsman

Basically Dick is guaranteed to pick a musical or a rom com. He loves things that are big and dramatic and beautiful, but also a bit cheesey and silly. Like him.

Everyone groans when Dick chooses the movie because they know it will be a bit cheesey or the stereotypical "Chick Flick". That being said usually what he picks is genuinely good (Mamma Mia and Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again are both masterpieces) and they leave everyone laughing or feeling happy.

Dick does also love classic foreign films (mostly European) because they remind him of movies his parents would sometimes take him to see, this wasn't super common but occasionally the Graysons would find a local theater showing classics.

He used to love the Kingsman movies but stopped liking them after everything that happened with Spyral.

Babs:

Genres— Sci-Fi, Comedy, Rom Coms

Favorite Movies— A Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, The Martian, Star Wars, Star Trek, When Harry Met Sally

Babs is a complete nerd and loves all of the Star Wars and Star Trek movies. She'll occasionally watch Lord of the Rings with Tim but she definitely prefers the nerdy Sci-Fi movies.

She only started liking Rom Coms after dating Dick, he loves them so much that it was pretty difficult for her to not start liking them as well.

When watching one of her favs Babs will be mouthing along the entire time. She also has a lot of cool memorabilia from her favorite franchises.

Jason:

Favorite Movies— Twelve Angry Men, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, To Kill a Mockingbird

Jason isn't too big on movies. And surprisingly he's not usually super opinionated about movies, he can be pretty opinionated on which movie the family will watch. This is less because he's trying to be combative and more because he's sick of watching his siblings favorite movies, he feels like hes seen them all a million times.

Typically Jason isn't a huge fan of movie adaptations or remakes. They don't bother him and he doesn't care when a new one's released but he's not going to watch it.

Sometimes Jason will accidentally fall asleep during family movie night, these are one of the few nights where he 'cuddles' and honestly it's less cuddling and more 'oops I feel asleep and ended up on someone's shoulder or lap. Whether or not he falls asleep depends on if he's fighting with Bruce or not. If he and Bruce are fighting Jason won't feel comfortable enough to fall asleep (he might even skip movie night), but if they're on good terms he might doze off.

Cass:

Genres— Fantasy, Comedy, Sci-Fi, Horror

Favorite Movies— The Big Sick, The Thing, A Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Tangled

Cass mainly knows about movies from her movie nights with Tim, Babs, and Steph, so her tastes have developed based on theirs.

She and Tim frequently watch old B Horror movies together, every once in a while one will quietly sing "Attack of the Killer Tomatoes" to the other and they immediately burst out laughing. This is most commonly done at galas.

Tim bought her a sweatshirt with a "horror movie periodic table" on it and she wears it almost constantly.

Tim:

Tim absolutely adores fantasy movies, he's a huge nerd and definitely uses fantasy movies to help him plan his next DnD campaign.

Him, Cass, Steph, and Babs love having movie nights together because they're all major nerds and tend to like a lot of the same movies.

Steph is much more outspoken than Tim, Babs, or Jason. This is part of the reason why she is one of the more polarizing siblings on movie night. If she doesn't want to watch something she will let you know.

She can making picking a movie difficult, but every other aspect of movie night is improved by Steph. She gets fun snacks, fuzzy blankets, cool sodas, and she even made them all shirts when they did a Lord of the Rings marathon.

When watching a movie Steph will quietly mimic lines or noises that she likes. She never notices but she does it during every movie. Like during Monty Python she'll whisper 'clip clop, clip clop' when they bang the coconuts together.

Duke:

Favorites— Darkest Knight: The Truth Behind Gotham's Hero, The Keene Act, America's Most Dangerous City: Gotham, What We Do in the Shadows

Duke loves watching documentaries on Batman just to see how off they are. No one argues when he suggests them for movie nights.

One time he, Jason, and Tim made a 'documentary' about Batman. It looks completely serious to anyone who doesn't know Batman's secret identity.

After making the Batman documentary he decided to make some more on random Gotham villians. He's made about six and all look completely serious to anyone who doesn't know the villian.

In his documentary titled "Riddle Me This" he said that the Riddler gained riddle themed powers after a tragic accident at a riddle book factory. Edward did not appreciate this.

Damian:

Damian is the absolute worst to watch action movies with, he spends the entire time ripping the movie apart and mocking anything that is even remotely unrealistic.

He and Duke will often talk about their favorite documentaries, he's even started helping Duke make documentaries. Right now they're working on one about the League of Assassins, Tim watched the first cut and almost pissed himself from laughing so hard.

Jon showed him High School Musical and Damian pretended to hate it but secretly he doesn't mind it. Obviously Jon knows this so he showed Damian the entire series, and now it's sort of become their thing.

Bruce:

Bruce is tired and just wants to watch a goddamn movie

When you find out you only have 72 hours left to live and you only want to spend it with one person

Keigo said walking into your hospital room.

"....hi..."

Keigo tilted his head sympathetically usually when he called you kid you'd pout and argue that he wasnt that much older then you

But instead you gave him a weak smile

"Aw, whatever it was it couldn't have been that bad." He teased you.

The two of you had been friends for years

Keigo wanted to see you give him a real smile

When he first started being a hero thats when the two of you met

It actually was an accident

He was chasing a villain through a crowd and the villain decided to use you as a distraction by throwing you in the street

And he saved you

Once the fiasco was over you had found him and thanked him for saving you

And from then on the two of you hit it off

But only as friends

You knew he was a busy hero he didnt have time for a girlfriend besides the two of you were only friends

Plus there were so many girls that wanted him too

So what could you offer? It was easier to just stay his friend

And he had the same thought pattern more or less

Just stay your friend that way he could be close to you

Better he stay your friend then potentially mess up something by being in a relationship with you and you guys have a bad break up

"I'm gonna die Keigo..."

You told keigo trying to keep your from crying

But it wasnt working your were in tears

"What?" Keigo frowned walking further to your bedside

Eailer that day you happened to be close to a villain attack and ended up getting hit by their quirk in the crossfire

Whiched landed you in the hospital

And from what the doctors and police had told you apparently the villain that they were chasing was very dangerous and had a life shortening quirk

"They said I have 72 hours to live..."you sobbed

When you told keigo that he already figured out what had happened to you

And for the first time in his life he felt truly devastated

You were the first friend he had since he left from all his training from the commission

You were the first person he was ever in love with

And you were gonna die

"I dont wanna die keigo." He could hear the fear in your voice

"You're not gonna die Y/n," he tried to consoled you "I will figure this out, I wont let you die."

He was about to get up and leave but you quickly grabbed his hand

"Please don't leave me."

You weren't close to your family and Keigo was the only person you had left

"Y/n...I cant sit here and watch you die...I have to figure something out."

"The doctors already said there was no cure....the police said the same thing everyone that villain hit died three days later and I know you know that."

He did know it

The villain that hit you was on everyone's radar and he had killed a lot of people

And now all he could do was be angry that he wasnt the one who caught him

Cause if he was you wouldn't be in this situation

He knew there were so many attempts to stop the casualties from dying but none had worked

The two of you sat in silence for a while neither of you knowing what to do or say

Finally keigo spoke up, "What do you wanna do?"

Trying to suppress a cry, you'd whispered, "everything."

Up until now your life hadn't been that eventful

Yes you went out with friend and had good times but there was still so much you didnt do

Hawks sighed, "fine then we'll do everything."

"Hawks that impossible I dont-"

"We will do everything we can for the next 72 hours." He cut you off

"What?"

"We're going to do everything. Everything and more whatever you wanted to do in your life we'll do for the next three days." He told you.

You protested but keigo wasnt having it

He got and started to pull you up with him

"I wont let you go dying sad and alone in bed. We're going to take these next three days and live."

The two of you would do just that too

He'd take you everywhere he could too you'd see all the big sight of your city you lived in but never had the time to go see

He take you to eat all the food you ever wanted to try

Everything that you wanted he provided

And you enjoyed it as much as you could on the first day

By the second day you were so tired from all the excitement you wanted to stay home but Hawks insisted that you didnt

Things were bittersweet but the two of you were making the most of it

On the second days evening you were at a bar and you got into talk about all the other things in life you really wanted

"I wanted to get married you know Keigo..."

He would just listen to you

"I wanted to get married and live in a little apartment with my husband and just kiss him when he left for work and be so happy when I saw him come back. We'd be so in love... I wanted to have children too...I mean at least one" you were smiling as tears started to fall you wanted that life with him but you knew it was unlikely and now you knew it would never happen

"But I wont get any of that cause some stupid villain..."

"Then marry me?" Keigo said

You laughed but keigo grabbed your hand

"Marry me f/n? In the morning let's do it."

"Keigo-"

"I can't give you any children, but shit-" keigo had been feeling so many emotions with all this going on but he kept up a smile for you

"I hate that it took this all to happen. But I do love you F/n...more than a friend, and i would be so happy if you married me tomorrow."

You couldn't believe what you were hearing.

"You're serious?"

He just nodded

Not knowing where to even start you cried boy happy and sad tears telling him "Yes!"

"Keigo I've loved you for so long!"

And for the first time the two of you shared a kiss

First thing the next morning the two of you went to the court house to make it official

The two of you were so in a rush you didnt even get real rings instead the two of you bought ring pops

Hawks got you a cherry flavor one

And you got him watermelon

The marriage was simple and quick

The two of you didnt want to waste any time together

Cause these were your last 24

You did a few couple things but more than anything you just wanted to spend the rest of the time you had with him

Hawks got the two of you a honeymoon suite

Where the two of you laid in bed talking

Imagining what your lives would have been like together

Things eventually got started to get a bit hot and heavy but you'd stop him

Looking away from his gaze while he was over you

"Keigo...I've never....you know.."

He'd frown, "You never what? Ohhhh." He then exclaimed once he realized what you meant

"Really?...wait so you were gonna die without-"

Feeling embarrassed you tried to to hid your face, "I know just never talked to anyone really and you were the only one I wanted for so long....and I didnt want to tell you...I didnt know how you'd react I'm sorry dont-"

"Babe, clam down."

He rested his head against yours

"We dont have too."

"But I want too." You'd tell him

And so Keigo would make love with you for the first time

After the two of you would lay there together

Smiling, "we should have done that a long time ago."

Keigo laughed, "I know right"

Laying on his chest, "We're idiots."

"I love you f/n..."

"I'm glad to be spending my last few hours with you."

You smiled and held on to him tighter

"You're the best husband I could have asked for."

"You're the best wife."

"Do you think you'll get married again.."

Keigo didnt answer you

"I want you too."

"Y/n...."

You sat up, "This is my final will...and testimony...I want you to find someone else...dont live alone and sad. our friendship is beautiful and I love you..so when I'm gone I still want you to live...live for both of us...okay?"

Keigo wanted to stop you from talking but he knew this was important for you even if he didnt want to hear it

"....okay."

"You promise?"

Keigo didn't look at you, "...promise."

You knew this was going to be hard for him it was already so hard for you

"I'm going to leave now."

"What?" Keigo sat up alarmed "where are you going?"

"I dont want you to see me dead. The last memory I want you to have of me is a happy one."

As you said that you started to get dressed

"Can I talk you out of this? Stay with me?" He wasnt ready to say goodbye

But you said no

By now you only had about two hours left and your mind was made up

"Take this." He got up and gave you one of his feathers "so I'm with you."

"God, that's cheesey." You tried to laugh

But he didnt show any emotions he just wanted to be with you anyway he could "Please."

You nodded taking his feather and the of you shared your last kiss

Then you left

Keigo didnt sleep that night he only wondered what you were doing

After that night Keigo never saw you again

He didn know where you went he only knew you were gone

Keigo wasnt really the same after you were gone he did everything the same

But something was always missing

His best friend

But for your sake he did what you asked he lived

k so i really liked this season! except in the beginning i didn’t really like how it was mostly focused on john b and sarah like i get it, they’re trying to get the gold and it’s important but i mean my jj baby wasn’t there so it was low key boring for me💀💀

but anyways, YALL i realllly loved seeing the pogues in school like idk it just made me really happy seeing there dynamic in school and how they just give zero shits about what anyone thinks about them😁😁

k but i literally nearly had a heart attack when sarah got shot and basically died like my girl flat lined and somehow survived?? seriously she is immortal my god. and taking her to that sketchy ass doctor 😬😬not the brightest decision and when they just lost the gold all together made it seem kinda pointless

i really loved the whole thing with pope and the cross and stuff. like pope isn’t really my favorite character but i liked the plot line and it gave them something else to solve, though the creepy crutch lady (i forget her name lol) i did not fuck with her, she and renfield were not it for me

ok but literally everyone almost died multiple times and that really gave me so much unnecessary anxiety like i knew no one was gonna die because i just don’t think they would do that but some parts were pretty close. like sarah got shot and died and got resurrected, kie got stuck in the sewer thing, pope and the bees, john b nearly died in prison and my baby jj nearly drowned🥺🥺seriously i knew he wasn’t gonna die because of the scene in the trailer but it was close man 😬😬

ok while we’re on this let’s talk about kie and pope vs kie and jj. y’all when i tell you i cringed during the kie/pope scenes i- 🤮🤮 however, kie was being such a bitch to pope- like using him for his body and shit! really pope had a reason to be mad at her but i’m glad they “broke up” it was so awkward and i hated seeing jj third wheeling the whole time just like 👁👄👁 ok kie and jj😍😍honestly the jiara moments were pretty slim this season 😭 i loved the part when jj saw his dad and stuff it just reminded me of season 1 and it put me in my feels and like kie being all protective of him 🥰🥰 like every time they were together i was squeeling so hard!! omg when they were forced to stay in the crate together i was really hoping we would get a confession or something! but no, they really be doing this slow burn shit😩😩but i do think it’s good. it would be weird if kie jumped from every guy in the group all at once but jiara is endgame no denying. and obviously i LOVED the boat scene at the end- kie was so worried for him (SO WAS I OMG) and yeah

CLEO YALL I LOVED CLEO she did not get NEARLY enough screen time. she’s always just vibing and hanging around and just doing whatever tf she wants. a literal queen i love her so much. i’m so happy that she decided to help the pogues and go with them at the end and i really hope we get to see more of her in future seasons

ok but i HATE WARD AND RAFE (everyone does) but like i knew ward didn’t die like it was just too easy but i hate that he came back and just kept going on and on and on and on and on like god just stop PLEASE and rafe 😡😡😡i hate him SO much like just stop y’all are already rich as hell just like chill out for real i hate them

i was so frustrated tho when they lost the gold and then just gave up and started focusing on the cross and then lost it too. like it was all so pointless and frustrating and kinda got boring after awhile ngl i just hope in the next season we see more of them just vibing and chillin and being normal and causing normal teenager trouble on the island and then maybe the gold gets back to them somehow idk (also jj didn’t get his dog which was very disappointing my baby just needs something)

in conclusion i thought the season was good! the humor was there and hilarious and it wasn’t super cheesey or anything and i didn’t cringe the whole time (except for pope and kie🤮🤮🤮) 10/10 in my opinion thanks for listening to my rant ❤️❤️
