......but seriously, I had "Gun for Hire" from Arcane on repeat while I planned/boarded that scene to get the ✨vibes✨(that directly caused Guns for Hire to be my top song for Spotify wrapped that year lol), and then Josh mentioned referencing ATSV a lot and having the ATSV soundtrack on loop for that scene, so hopefully something emotional came across from those more or less. After that, the animation team, effects, music, and the lighting team (Magician Eric Hawkins) did their magic (that sunset!!) to bring us the final scene we're seeing, and it was even more glorious than I imagined 🥹

Late Langa birthday art!!! I think this is the first time I’ve made a finished drawing of him that actually looks like him lmao

anyway i love birds and i love it when artists give characters wings, so i thought id do my due diligence and give wings to the Sk8 boys!! I’m thinking of doing a knew one on all of their birthdays :D Anyways Langa is a Canada Jay because of course he is why wouldn’t he be? It’s actually perfect for him. Canada Jays are very curious, and are big eaters who will eat a wide variety of foods, from seeds to literal small animals. and they hoard food (with their saliva sticking it to trees what), likely to store for winter when they would have a harder time finding it! Like cmon it was too perfect they even have his color scheme of black and white!

YEAH... untitled is genuinely terrified that Chosen will hate him but once they get him to calm down and stop apologizing they finally just talk and it's just. so cathartic for both of them. especially since i imagine they last talked not too long after Dark died and had a really nasty fight BECAUSE of him knowing about it and not saying anything

chosen feels horrible for snapping at him but he's not angry at them; he should have said something, even if it meant they'd find out. maybe things would have changed.

but then again, maybe they wouldn't have.

every so often i now notice my first beard hairs coming in. it's incredibly euphoric but also scary as i Do Not trust myself with sharp objects and am a coward and im already dreading having to shave. but i am also a snob and an aesthete and don't want a few stupid stray hairs on my neck. i also miss my smooth luscious baby face because of sensory reasons.

i keep talking about it on xitter but seeing end of eva in theaters was genuinely amazing, like the sound design and the quality...the way that the movie ends and everyone is just There...i used to just like the movie and thought it was a bit overrated, but now i think it's one of my favorite films ever
