If we ever get an HoO tv show, I would LOVE if they gave Jason albinism. It would just be great to have that representation, especially if it was done well.

It wouldn't need to be a big focus and honestly it would be kind of weird if it was, but just little things. He could wear protective glasses, and maybe have him shielding his eyes if there's a time they get knocked off or he has to remove them.

Lastly, I was looking up the character voice actors that were used for the drama cd (thankfully listed on the wikipedia page) and HE’S KENJIRO TSUDA.

Probably unpopular opinion but even though I definitely envision him with that voice with the mask, its difficult for me to do so now with the recent chapters and the approximate age if when he became a youkai (~20s). I think its… too gruff and deep.

I being able to listen to the drama cd would probably help, but atm if they do end up changing it… I like Atsushi Tamaru’s Azul or Yuichi Jose’s Sakyo (18:13)…

the scene in s3 when nancy is looting a gun off a dead guy's body at starcourt and max asks her, "you're gonna kill him, aren't you?" to which she replies, "this is just a precaution, okay?" and will chimes in with "and not just against billy��" is just criminally underrated, i think. not only did he immediately jump into "we have to kill this clown ASAP NO CHANCES NO HESITATION NO NOTHING IT'S ALL OFFENSE NO DEFENSE BABY 🗣📣" mode with mike at his side before, cut lucas off short bc he was #focused on said plan, but he's now saying that to max, too? about her brother? again, with no hesitation, unlike her? like. mr will byers does NAWT play when it comes to extraterrestrial monsters 🙅‍♂️

In the Samadhi Fire ritual flashbacks and the brief vision of Macaque and Monkey King's final fight, SWK lacks the circlet. Do you think this is an intentional plot element, memory being fallible, or a straight-up animation error?

The 3x04 flashback of SWK and Macaque's fight lacking a circlet could easily be fallible memory or bias, but either way it's definitely intentional. The 3x10 Samadhi Fire flashback on the other hand is an unbiased account of what sealing the fire had looked like, so without a doubt we can trust everything we see there!

Honestly, at this point I wouldn't be surprised if there were in fact 2 SWK V Macaque fights: one during jttw where Tang Sanzang encouraged Wukong to spare Macaque (Like the great monk had done with LBD—that or Wukong is just straight up unwilling to finish Macaque off), and another fight post-jttw where it's Wukong alone without the influence of the pilgrims. But that's just me throwing stuff out there.
