Girl Dad!Simon who had to get his newborn baby girl taken away from him because he was practically drowning them in his tears. (He denies that it ever happened now)

Girl Dad!Simon who went dead asleep after the delivery, it was unintentional of course, he wanted to help you as much as he could but his body just dropped on it's own. The worst part was is that he basically missed all of the baby's 'firsts' although he managed to wake up just in time for the first nappy change.

Girl Dad!Simon who spends a little bit too much of his free time staring at his daughter. It only worsened when you guys finally got dismissed from the hospital, you tend to find Simon crouching by the crib and watching the baby's every move pretty often. It's like bird watching, he says when you ask him.

Girl Dad!Simon who sobbed more than his daughter during her first day of school, was going to say the most melancholic goodbye but she just excitedly runs off to school and leaves her dad hanging.

Girl Dad!Simon who refuses to miss any important event in her life, no matter how small it is. Will literally call during a mission so he could see his daughter's piano recital.

Okay but we really don't tap into the fact that Edmundo Diaz is the big brother to not one but two little sisters.

Just imagine: Eddie is babysitting Jee-Yun, either completely alone or just helping Buck, doesn't matter. And he gets some time alone with her (because either Buck is not there or he's making dinner or something) Jee's hair is quite long now, long enough to fall into her face constantly which is no way to play anything.

So Eddie sits her down and braids her hair. His hands don't cooperate at first but turns out he still remembers it from when he did for Sophia and Adriana. He gets more confident with each twist of hair. The second braid is done in minutes. Jee is ecstatic.

Madney come home early because that new restaurant they were trying out was a major flop. They ask Buck where their daughter is but before he can answer, Jee is running into the room with two little french braids swishing around, beaming.

Maddie never learned how to do it, never saw the point. She doesn't do it for herself.

Chim honest to god tried but there were too many flyaways and it was overall not a great experience for either (he's practicing on Maddie but not there yet)

So they ask her who did it and she points at Eddie just entering the room. A bit flustered, he explains that he used to do it a lot for her sisters (and if you listen closely, you can hear Buck manifest himself a pair of ovaries just so they could melt away in a second because holy shit that's very hot for some reason)

So! Kitty was on her way to her old hometown to see what ever happened to her Dad.

See, she used to live in Gotham with her dad, mom nowhere to be seen of course, before running away to be with Johnny and subsequently dying.

She thought it would be better for her dad, not having another mouth to feed on a tight budget and not having to deal with their constant arguments every day. Looking back on it though, that might not have been the best idea. She hadn't even left a note, and for all they argued he did care about her enough that her disappearance would distress him.

But that was fine, she was going to check up on him right now!

He wasn't dead yet, she knew that much thanks to the Kid letting her access the Records of the Realms, but there was apparently some kind of Complications with his File which made it hard to pin down exactly how he was doing and where he was. So right now she was just wandering the streets of Gotham looking for him.

And guess what? No she still hadn't found him yet, he was suprisingly hard to track down. But she did find her apparent BROTHER!

Yeah, apparently sometime after she ran away, he had gotten himself another kid! He was too old to have been a bio kid so it was probably an adoption, but he definitely had a Connection to her Dad, the same kind that all parents and their kids have on their souls.

Well, if he adopted a kid that was fine by her, after all she always wanted a little brother (the Kid didn't count yet), but she kinda wished she had known before now!

She was gonna go introduce herself!

Tim was having a very weird day.

Well, it was a normal day for the most part. It became a weird one when a teenage girl walked up to him and introduced herself as his Sister, asking where their Dad was.

This wouldn't have been too distressing, Tim looked fairly average by the standards of Gotham and it would be easy to mistake him for another person with black hair and blue eyes.

The Distressing Part was that the girl in question had green hair, paper-white skin, and blood-red lipstick all covering a face he knew all too well. He saw it every time he had a nightmare about that night.

This Girl was the Joker's Daughter.

Dad!Simon Helps Your Daughter When She Falls Over :((

Your 3 year-old lets out a little gasp as she slips over on the ice and after a moment of shock, she starts to cry out. No words, just a stream of tears and wails of pain, frozen on her hands and knees, bare palms against freezing, snowy ground.

"Daddy!" she cries out, by which time her father is already knelt down at her side, "Dada!"

"Hey, baby," his usually gruff voice sounds soft and low as he gently strokes his daughter’s hair away from her tear-stained cheek, trying not to show how much it affects him to see her with big, sad eyes and so clearly in pain.

“Tell Daddy where you’re hurt.”

"M- m- my knees!" your little girl sobs, leaning into her father’s chest as he picks her up and cradles her in his arms, just as he did when she was younger.

Her bottom lip trembles, and she whimpers softly into Simon’s shirt, sniffling and covering him in tears. Her little hands are sore from the fall, and your husband takes both of them in one of his much bigger, stronger, rougher hands, his thumb gently caressing her knuckles.

"Let me see…" he gently rolls her trouser legs up to see her knees, which aren’t bloody but just a little sore and grazed from her fall. Taking care not to hurt her fragile skin, he leans closer and gently kisses her chubby toddler legs better. It looks funny, this big, scary man being so gentle and loving with a little girl in her pink raincoat, but he doesn’t care. Anything for his daughter.

"Need plaster, daddy!"

"You don’t need one, love, you’re not blee-" he looks down only to be met with her big, teary eyes and sad little pout, her tiny heart so sad not to be getting a plaster.

"Alright, y’get a plaster," he chuckles softly, giving her a tender kiss on the forehead, "you’re such a brave girl."

designer baby clothes. baby yoga. a mini sports car she doesn’t even know how to drive.

will throw her a birthday party that costs more than a wedding. 

but if she says she’d rather have a picnic with him? he’s packing snacks in 2 seconds.

Notes: I was playing RDR2 the other day and his journal entry (above) after seeing Mary for the second time stood out to me. I think his relationship with women and feminism in the story is worth writing about. afab reader. 1.1k words.

Thinking of Arthur Morgan’s reaction to you birthing his little girl. It’s a surprise, naturally, given the time period. He isn’t disappointed by any means – God, no. He considers himself a blessed man as long as the little one looks like you. He’s concerned. Terrified of the world his little girl will have to live in, of the hardships she will be forced to face.

It isn’t something he’s thought of in such depth before. Sure, he’s had conversations with the women at camp -  he’s not naïve. Prejudices never even made logical sense to him.

Arthur, who didn’t bat an eye when Mary Beth told him she wanted to be a writer. He got her that pen without thinking twice because why shouldn’t women be able to write? Ain’t they people just like everyone else?

Arthur, who didn’t question Tilly for a second when finding out she killed that Foreman. He was told the asshole deserved it and sided with her in a heartbeat, assuming she had acted in self-defense. He would speak to her like a friend, too. Not like she was some inferior woman.

Arthur, who considered marrying Abigail when John left, because no woman should be shunned for being an unwed mother when it’s a deadbeat man who left in the first place. He always thought John took her for granted.

Arthur, who was always in awe of Sadie’s raw courage and determination, and who didn’t question her lead when she asked him to come along on her escapades. A good idea is a good idea, and a good shot is a good shot, no matter whom it comes from. She was a better fighter than most of the men in the gang, anyway.

Arthur, who saw Karen’s femininity as a strength rather than a weakness. She was clever and ambitious. She knew how people perceived her and used that to pull off outrageous heists. Plus, she wasn’t half bad with a shotgun. He never thought anything about her was weak.

Arthur, who despite enjoying teasing her, noticed everything Susan did for the camp. It secretly irritated him when he heard the others whining at her when she asked them to do chores because he knew the place would’ve fallen apart within days if it weren’t for her leadership.

Arthur, who immediately discerned when Molly started acting off. He checked in on her even when the rest of the camp villainized her as this spoiled, ungrateful girl. Sure, she had made mistakes, but most of the men had done worse.

A wave of dread washes over him as he admires his daughter, her little fingers wrapping around his finger, and he feels sick. He shouldn’t feel like this. He should be overcome with joy. Well, he is, but his upbringing will never allow him to be immersed in a moment without thinking of the harsh realities surrounding it. He looks at you and the fragile baby bundled in your arms. His whole world sits in the bed before him. Everyone and everything he values most in this miserable world – are women. Women who have and who will inevitably be mistreated and underestimated, despite having the power to create literal life. Despite being ten times more rational, intelligent, and kinder than almost all the men he’s known even with the challenges thrown at them. He makes a vow to himself the minute his daughter is born. A vow that he’ll never let anything happen to her or you as he did Eliza and Isaac. He’s never known his purpose in life, but from that moment on, he knows exactly why he was put on this earth – to care for the two of you, his family.

Arthur, who overheard how Micah would speak to and of the women at camp, and never so much as entertained his delusions.

Arthur, who always offers a hand to help women off or on their horses and wagons.

Arthur, who excuses himself when he bumps into women, as opposed to telling off men when he does them.

Arthur, who rides around Rhodes some weeks after your daughter was born, searching for any women he might recognize from the suffrage protest he crashed with Beau all that time ago.

Arthur, who stops in his tracks when he hears the voice of the woman in Saint-Denis who pickets for her voting rights – the same voice he’s heard twenty times before, but it feels different now. He drops a few bills into her hat because he’s never been a particularly political man, but he’ll be damned if his daughter doesn’t get a say in the kind of world she’ll live in when the time comes.

And you can be sure he’ll teach her how to handle a firearm when she’s older. It brings back unpleasant memories, and he wishes for a better life for her than what he had, of course, but he knows the type of men there are out there. Hell, he used to run with them.

Arthur, who sees the two of you as his redemption.

He doesn’t know how he’s been handed such goodness. Surely, he was undeserving after everything he’s done? But every time he lays eyes on his precious baby girl, he grants himself a smidge of forgiveness. Something all bad couldn’t produce something so perfect, right?

He listens to her babbles and he can’t understand a thing. He thinks back on every good thing he’s ruined in his life – he’s a destructive man. He destroys everything he touches, but his baby reaches out to him with a sleepy smile and the utmost trust. When she looks at him, she sees her father, not a killer but rather safety, not the blood of every man he’s killed but a warm embrace. She’s his, not in the sense of Mr. Gillis treating Mary like his property, but in the sense that he now has the privilege of having the responsibility to love, protect, and care for this angel of a being.

He's scared shitless. His father hadn’t stuck around much, but he’s determined to be the best version of himself for his little girl. He would never leave like his dad did. He would never give up on her as Dutch did him. He would teach her to be clever and to think on her toes, like Hosea did – without all the deception, of course.

Arthur, who starts a second journal to write solely about his girl, just to have something to leave her when the time comes. Until then, she’ll never know how good of a writer her father was.

He would gladly be a soldier one last time. One last time to give you and his daughter the life you deserve.

I had the funniest idea….

SO imagine that Jason accidentally takes in a kid, he doesn’t want to do the fostering thing because he knows how emotionally hurting that can be for a kid, so he tries to find a term for it and settles on ‘just taking care of the kid till they’re 18.’

Stupid he knows.

But only a few weeks in and he’s already arguing with this kid over small things, they won’t eat dinner he cooked, they aren’t doing their homework, they’re fighting kids in school, and Jason doesn’t know what to do. So what does he do? HE GOES TO BRUCE.

Bruce is surprised, because considering how much Jason would willingly tell him, he might not even know that Jason’s watching this kid. So when he says ‘How do you manage a kid?’ He thinks Jason got a girl pregnant. But he can’t lecture Jason on this, he’s an adult now, and doesn’t see Bruce as a dad anymore. So he just tries to lightly tell Jason that he has no fucking clue.

Bruce: Well uh, I only got you kids when you were older, plus, I mean, it’s not that bad, yeah? Just some perspective things, probably think about that, and what’s going through their mind and how they’re reacting to it.

Jason who thinks Bruce knows (a chronic ‘I thought I told you?’ Person) and is confused why he said he got all of them older, considering that his kid is like 12-14 ish: Right, perspective.

But the thing is, the advice actually helps.

Jason actually starts looking at their perspective and it helps. A lot. The kid slowly becomes more open, and Jason starts to feel more parental. Then before he knows it he’s going to Bruce asking for advice on how to start the adoption process.

Once again- Bruce thinks he got a girl knocked up- quickly realizes he very much in fact did not, and was taking care of a kid. Like he does.

Bruce, as the realization sets in: Well, I’d ask them what they think about being adopted first…

Jason watching as Bruce keeps blinking and looking away: B are you about to cry?

Bruce tearing up: No, no, I’m not. Got dust in my eyes…



Obviously Jason takes his advice, especially since the first time it helped so much. The kid is hesitant, but after a bit is slowly getting okay with the idea.

But when Jason gets a last minute tip about Black mask going to Cuba for something, he needs someone to watch the kid. And who does he know that loves kids, and would babysit any kid even if they’ve never met the kid? That’s right, Bruce!

So he tells the kid everything they need to know and sends Bruce a single text message saying ‘You’re babysitting.’

Bruce is scared. What does he mean by that?

Then he shows up with this preteen-young teen kid, who’s short and looks like Jason after he was first taken in by Bruce and lived with him for a while (aka a street kid who’s actually starting to eat right and looks healthier) and everything clicks into place. This kid is older.

But Bruce wants to cry- because this is his potential first grandchild, and that’s amazing.

Jason to the kid: It’ll only be three days at most, okay?

The kid: okay.

Bruce a few feet away trying not to sob: Hi- I’m Bruce, you are?

Jason disgusted at Bruce’s such obvious emotions- no one shows their emotions in their face in this family: Chill out, you’re scaring them.

Bonus points if the kids a girl. Jason is a girl dad at heart. Tell me I’m wrong.

Sylus’ eyes catch your figure in the doorway. His contentment makes something inside you swoon. Pink eyeshadow is a dash of colour across his outer eyes, a glossy red lipgloss is smudged across his smirking lips, and an obnoxious blush darkens his high cheekbones.

As usual, his eyes rake over your figure, taking his sweet time to admire how your dress hugs every curve, how it highlights your chubbiness in the most elegant way possible. Your jewellery glints—the most expensive on the market, of course. Your bracelet charm matches with the one jingling on your daughter’s wrist.

“Do I look good, Sweetie?” His voice smooths over, silky and amused. The lipgloss catches the light, twinkling and sparkling like the night sky outside. You catch the warmth in your cheeks in unison with his darkening gaze and widening grin.

Your daughter perks up. “Mommy!” She rushes to your side and crashes against your legs—nearly making you stumble. You giggle, brushing a manicured hand through her head of white hair. Soft strands curl around your finger affectionately.

“Hi sugar. Getting daddy all pretty for tonight?” You look at Sylus as he stands up proudly. If he was confident before, your daughter’s makeover makes him even more so.

The way he would wear out his makeup for your date night, proud and unashamed of the mess spread across his face

When a glint of a tear appears in her eyes, he’s at her beck and call

Cold Carrots

🥕 So everyone in these Headcanons had a smooth run but why not make it more realistic!

🥕 So despite his devil fruit what if he struggled with weak and low sperm count. Both of you banging raw for yearssss!

🥕 When you tell him you're pregnant all he replies with is a simple "I know. You missed your period weeks ago" So much for a cutesy announcement lol

🥕 Yes Law is beyond ecstatic but because of his weak sperm he tries to remain neutral incase of the sad chance your child doesn't last in the womb.

🥕 But your unborn child has your strong will and his stubborn attitude and takes wonderfully.

🥕 Because this is the first time his sperm has actually took expect him to be super OVERPROTECTIVE!!

🥕 Honestly you should've known that he knew you were pregnant since he didn't let you out of his sight.

🥕He needs CONSTANT reassurance that you and the baby are okay. He worries double than the usual amount

🥕 Works harder but less if that makes sense lol

🥕Like the man will not pause for food breaks just to finish as much as possible so he can hurry up and get back to you

🥕BUTTTT!!! You have prenatal anxiety which causes you to forget to eat which makes him remember to eat so that you eat lol (that's a mouthful lol)

🥕 I can see his favorite picture of the baby would be when you fall asleep the first night shes born and the baby opens her eyes to stare at him.

🥕 Even though she first opened her eyes to look at Law he will deny it just so he can see your excitement in the morning when the baby looks at you and you think it's the first time

🥕 As much as he likes being right there's some things that aren't worth debating especially seeing how happy you looked when you shed some tears at her pretty eyes opening

🥕 Since his sperm was weak he wouldn't expect another kid, nor would he think it was possible so he would be one of those parents to make all the little crafts.

🥕 Paintings with the baby's hands and feet, or the ceramics of her feet that you hang on the wall or his desk all sorts of things.

🥕 Has a bunch of pictures of you and the baby but probably has more with her and Bepo lol they're just so cute lol

🥕 Bepo will take the baby for naps so you and Law can have a moment to relax and since the baby thinks Bepo is a walking blanket you both have no issues with him and your child

🥕 Law is supportive if you breastfeed or if you need formula for the baby but if you do breastfeed he will share a bunch of recipes that help with production.

🥕If you just pump and don't breastfeed then he will take over all nighttime feedings for you with no worry.

🥕Diaper changing is easy for the man, any bodily fluids will be no match for the pirate surgeon

🥕 Would totally bring the baby with him into his office so you could rest or do whatever it is you want to do

🥕 Prioritizes your mental health probably the most out of all the girl dads because he understands the chemical response that pregnancy and hormones can cause.

🥕 LOVES your changed body but if you ever feel insecure he will know all the right exercises that will help you get fit will also preventing strain on your body that just endured labor.

🥕 He's always had issues of when to call an end to his work and go to you in bed but now he doesn't mind leaving his office to cuddle you and his baby to sleep.

🥕Follows all the rules of when and what to introduce your baby. Will only pick the best fruits and vegetables to offer to her

🥕 Will panic like you've never seen before when months pass and shes not eating any food for him. He tries everything, even going against his own wishes of adding a sprinkle of sugar to some carrots that he made

🥕 Totally wants to give up and wait another year until shes ready but one morning walks into the kitchen to see you feeding your daughter carrots.

🥕 "Don't worry Law it just takes some trail and error." You tell him and he gasps in shock. "How! How did you?" Law will ask as he watches your daughter smile and babble away. You laugh and explain that she only likes her veggies cold, no matter the sugar he adds to them it still doesn't compare to the yummy taste of it being chilled. "Guess she's like me. I lovvvve cold carrots." You laugh and Law will smile as he looks at the both of you. Yeah she was definitely like you.

🥕 Will sneak a picture of you feeding the baby for the first time that she actually enjoys it, her smile wide and toothless, skin orange with mashed carrots smeared all over, chunky fingers wiggling in happiness.

🥕 It was moments like these that he didn't mind one bit not being King of the Pirates

🥕 Will try to play it cool when she finally shouts a happy 'daddy' upon seeing him after he leaves for a few days. You and Bepo would deny that you constantly said it all day for days lol

🥕 You will catch him in his office having conversations with her but its just random babbles mixed in with a few words that she's learned lol "Baba dada bado dobadee daddy" Law would push up his reading glasses with a head nod and write in his note pad as if he's taking down notes like a therapist. "Then what happened dear." He'll say back and it would take everything in your power not to burst out laughing as you hear her continue on.

🥕 Will try and help with her hair and outfit choices but he has no fashion sense when it comes to his princess. Her hair will look like a rats net but he makes up for it with cute accessories that he buys her.

🥕 Will leave the outfits to you but takes control of the training

🥕 Without a doubt buys her play doctor sets after he gave her a real set and discovered the horror of all her dolls being pried open as if she was preforming heart surgery.

🥕 Plays doctor with her as much as possible "Daddy tweezers!" "Yes doctor. Tweezers!" "Scalpel!" "Scalpel doctor!" Her gasp as she performs her surgery makes you hold in a giggle. "Gauze! Gauze stat! We have a torn artery!" Law wants to jump for joy at her naming correct organs and tools but takes his role as a doctor seriously even if it is playtime. "I'll page the other doctors right away."

🥕 Your daughter takes to all thinks medicine and Law just eats it up lol

🥕 Since they live on the submarine your daughter also turns out to love marine life which Law fuels her passion of course by getting her as many books as he can. He thinks she'll be a vet but he doesn't worry as long as she's happy and flourishing.

🥕 Your daughter gets his brains, your strong willed attitude and Law's stubborn spunk which makes for a whirlwind as she gets older.

🥕 When your daughter gets her period he will literally put a hand to your shoulder and say , "Don't worry I got this."

🥕 Will have no issue with the menstrual cycle/ puberty discussion UNTIL he mentions how often it happens

🥕 You'll walk back in hearing lots of crying and see Law in a panic lol "I know it sucks baby but the cool thing is~ daddy will buy you all the chocolate, ice cream and steak you want!"

🥕 Every bathroom on the Polar Tang is stocked lol even gives his little girl an emergency kit in a cute discreet bag

🥕 Will teach your daughter to use a sword but its not her thing unfortunately

🥕 As his daughter studies all her books she will snack on cold carrots and other raw vegetables and still it makes Law smile remembering his little baby.

🥕 When his daughter is around 13 you announce that you 're pregnant with another and Law practically faints. It was a miracle to have his daughter with his weak sperm but now years later you give him another miracle?! Yeah expect him to pass out.
