I hate to admit, I was sucked in by this ad, despite the horrific Hawkman costume.
It's an hour of my life I desperately want to get back, but never will.
Stupidly, my brothers and I tuned in to watch the second part, thinking that it couldn't be any worse than the first.
Oh, but it was! IT WAS!
And we remain in therapy to this day because of it!

My Wife: Giganta
A DC Supervillain Romance Story
Tumblr media
Chapter 1
---
"Take a look at this, Mr. Garfield. We’ve had three security breaches in the last month, and all of them lead back to this wing of the facility."
I adjusted my blue necktie, my fingers lingering over the knot before stepping into the sterile, dimly lit corridors of STAR Labs.
The air smelled of sanitizer, machine oil, and ozone—the unmistakable scent of cutting-edge technology pushed to its limits.
Behind me, Detective Marcus Lyle of the Metropolis PD walked with his hands stuffed into his coat pockets, his expression dark.
"Vats of classified compounds, high-risk genetic samples…" I muttered, scanning the reports in my hand. "This isn’t just industrial sabotage. Someone is experimenting."
"An inside job," Lyle grunted. "Someone on staff has been sneaking into restricted sections, tampering with classified materials—and covering their tracks well. No fingerprints, no security footage, just missing compounds and altered logs."
I flipped to a specific entry in the case file.
"The first breach involved growth hormones, enhanced with an unknown genetic stabilizer…"
Lyle scoffed. "That batch was considered too unstable for human use. Whatever poor bastard is playing mad scientist with it is either crazy or desperate."
I exhaled, adjusting the sleeves of my vest, feeling the weight of my sidearm holstered at my waist.
"Or both."
And then—
the alarms went off.
A shrieking, mechanical wail that cut through the air like a knife.
Lyle’s radio crackled.
"All personnel, evacuate immediately—structural collapse detected in Laboratory C—"
The floor trembled beneath us.
Not an explosion.
Not a bomb.
Something was crushing the building from the inside.
"Move!"
The hallways shook violently, emergency lights flickering as the ceiling panels rained dust and debris.
I sprinted toward the nearest exit, my shoes slamming against the tile, Lyle right behind me.
Somewhere deeper in the building, I heard the groan of twisting metal, the snap of reinforced steel beams giving way.
Like the structure itself was being stretched.
Like something was expanding.
And then, as we neared the emergency stairwell, I saw it.
A crack in the concrete wall beside me—thin at first, but growing wider, splitting apart in slow, pulsing intervals.
With each pulse, I saw something pushing through the other side.
Flesh.
Pale, smooth skin.
A human body… growing.
I barely had time to process it before—
BOOM.
The wall exploded outward, and I was thrown back, hitting the ground hard as chunks of debris rained down around me.
Lyle cursed, shielding his head as the hallway filled with dust.
I coughed, struggling to see, my vision blurry as I looked up at the gaping hole in the wall.
And through the swirling debris—
I saw her.
A massive leg, stretching taller than a man, its toned muscles flexing as it pushed further outward, growing in pulses.
A bare shoulder, slamming against a bending steel beam, the metal groaning as it gave way beneath the expanding flesh.
A flash of fiery red hair, whipping through the dust-choked air, shifting with each pulse of growth.
And then—
A low, shuddering moan rumbled through the collapsing building.
Not of pain.
But of pleasure.
Tumblr media
"Hahhh… ohhh, yes…"
Her voice was husky, trembling with exhilaration, deep and feminine—but growing deeper, louder, stronger.
And I realized—
This wasn’t an accident.
This was intentional.
Whoever this was—they wanted this.
They were embracing it.
"Garfield, MOVE!"
Lyle yanked me up, and we bolted as the hallway caved in behind us.
By the time we stumbled outside, the entire building was collapsing, a cloud of dust and smoke billowing into the Metropolis skyline.
Emergency crews and STAR Labs personnel were fleeing in every direction, but I barely registered them.
Because my eyes were on her.
The massive woman emerging from the ruins.
She stretched her broad shoulders, rolling them as if waking from a deep sleep, her curves swelling further, her muscular frame thickening as she grew another few feet, her long ponytail whipping behind her.
Her clothes were shredded, barely clinging to her body in tatters, leaving her in what little remained of her underwear and a few torn scraps of fabric.
She was easily fifty feet tall, and still growing.
And the expression on her face?
Tumblr media
Pure. Euphoria.
She ran her massive hands over her sides, feeling her new form, her huge thighs shifting as she stepped forward, her bare feet flattening a police cruiser like it was paper.
"Mmmm… this feels incredible."
Her green eyes gleamed as she finally noticed the gathered police, the military units arriving, the people staring in horror.
"Hahh… look at you all… so small…"
She mused, rolling her massive shoulders, flexing her growing fingers.
And then—
A golden lasso snapped around her wrist.
"Doris Zeul!"
The voice was firm, commanding—a voice I had heard many times before.
Tumblr media
Wonder Woman.
She landed with a thunderous impact, her golden armor gleaming in the chaos, her sword drawn, shield raised.
"Surrender now before you hurt anyone else!"
For a moment—
The giantess hesitated.
And then—
She grinned.
A slow, predatory smile that sent a chill down my spine.
"Doris Zeul?"
She repeated, voice dripping with seething rage.
She raised her massive arm, the lasso pulling tight—but she barely even flinched.
"That weak little doctor is gone."
Her legs tensed, her huge body pulsing with power, another surge of growth making the ground quake beneath her feet.
"I am... Giganta!"
Then—
With sheer force of will, she ripped the lasso free.
And stomped towards the superheroine, the ground quaking with every step she took.
The streets were in chaos.
I could barely hear my own thoughts over the roaring flames, the blaring sirens, and the deep, thunderous laughter of the giantess towering over the battlefield.
Giganta.
She was a colossus of raw power, standing at the heart of Metropolis, her huge body heaving with each breath, her massive fists tightening as she squared off against Wonder Woman.
She should have only been clumsy at this size.
Uncoordinated.
An easy target.
But she wasn’t.
She was reckless, yes, but deadly.
She ripped an electric post from the ground, its sparking wires whipping in the air like tendrils, before swinging it like a club, nearly catching Wonder Woman mid-dodge.
BOOM.
The impact sent a shockwave through the streets, the ground splitting beneath my feet as I stumbled back, barely keeping myself standing.
I had been trained for combat—I had worked cases involving metahumans, criminals, and monsters.
But nothing, nothing I had ever witnessed compared to this.
Then—
She moved.
I barely had time to react.
Her huge foot crashed down near me, flattening a police barrier into a crater of shattered asphalt.
I felt it.
Not just the impact—but the sheer scale of her.
Tumblr media
Her toes curled slightly as she adjusted her stance, as if testing her balance, the faintest twitch of her movement causing the ground to tremble beneath me.
And I stood there—
Frozen.
Dwarfed by her sheer immensity, my breath caught in my throat as my mind screamed at me to move, run, escape.
But I couldn’t.
Because in that moment—
I felt insignificant.
She was a moving landmass, a force of nature standing so high above me that I may as well have been an ant at her feet.
And when she took another step—
I felt it in my bones.
The wind rushed past me, my hair whipped back, my lungs compressed from the sheer force of displaced air.
I wasn’t a consultant anymore.
I was nothing.
"Enough!"
Wonder Woman’s voice rang out, firm, unyielding, cutting through the chaos.
"Doris Zeul—surrender before this gets worse!"
Giganta snarled, baring her teeth.
"Doris?"
She repeated, voice dripping with venom, her huge hands tightening into fists.
"Doris isn't here!"
She lifted an overturned car, gripping it like a toy, and hurled it with terrifying precision.
CRASH!
Wonder Woman deflected it with her shield, the vehicle splitting in two on impact, debris flying in all directions.
Giganta wasn't done.
She tore a chunk of a building free, the concrete crumbling in her massive fingers, and launched it forward like a wrecking ball.
Wonder Woman dodged, flipping through the air, landing on a traffic light pole, using it as a launch point to close the gap.
But Giganta was learning fast.
She grabbed a semi-truck, swinging it wildly—
Wonder Woman barely had time to block with her shield, the sheer force launching her backward into a collapsed building.
For a moment—
Giganta grinned, victorious.
Then she staggered.
Her breathing hitched.
Her huge hands trembled.
And I saw it—
The faintest flicker of panic in her eyes.
Tumblr media
"No… not yet…"
She muttered, her legs shaking beneath her.
"I need… more time…"
But there was no more time.
Wonder Woman wiped blood from her lip, eyes narrowing as she saw the weakness creeping into Giganta’s stance.
"Your body wasn't meant to sustain this power, was it?" she called, stepping forward.
Giganta growled, but she was breathing harder now, sweat glistening against her exposed skin, her muscles tightening as if trying to fight off the inevitable.
"Shut up—!"
She swung, but her movements were slower, easier to read.
Wonder Woman dodged effortlessly, retaliating with a precise slash along Giganta’s arm, drawing another thin line of blood.
The crowd gasped.
Because for the first time… Giganta had flinched.
And as the fight dragged on—
She began to shrink.
It was gradual, barely noticeable at first.
She went from towering over buildings to merely standing above them.
From unstoppable to staggering.
Her thighs, once massive and unyielding, softened.
Her hips narrowed, her breasts shrinking, the once straining fabric of her torn scraps loosening as her body dwindled.
The glow in her green eyes dimmed, her fiery red hair losing its vibrant luster.
"No, no, no—!"
She panicked, clutching her arms, as if she could hold onto her size, onto her power.
But it was useless.
Wonder Woman saw her hesitation and pressed the attack.
A kick to the ribs.
A shield strike to the shoulder.
A final punch that sent Giganta crashing to her knees.
And now—
Tumblr media
She was small.
She was helpless.
She was Doris Zeul again.
Naked. Crying. Defeated.
Her frail body trembled, her hands gripping the ground as if trying to force herself to stand, to grow again.
But it was over.
She curled inward, shaking, her face hidden beneath strands of fallen red hair.
"I… I was so close…" she whispered, her voice cracking.
"Doris Zeul is in custody."
That was the last thing I heard before they pulled me away.
The police escorted me to safety, ushering me into a secured transport vehicle, ensuring I was far from the battlefield.
I didn’t argue.
Because I was still reeling.
Still processing what I had just witnessed.
I had looked into the eyes of a goddess—and watched her crumble into nothing.
But as we drove away, I couldn’t shake one thought.
Will I see her again...?
