And now you can just feel all of those nasty, negative energies coming at you at once for speaking your truth like you're Louis De Pointe du Lac at the end of the Interview with The Vampire Season 2 Finale, so you decided to just go ahead and eat those basic bitches all up before they have another chance to mumble in the margins of the tags about how badly they wanna try eat you or kill you or something, instead of just coming at you directly, saying what they mean, or giving you a cyber stink eye instead of just ignoring you entirely or learning how to use a damn block button...

Inspired by other fics:

The Adventures of Gonky the Cat - Slight spoiler, Gonky is a cat in the modern AU fic Roasted, Brewed, & Served with Attitude (see description below), and I decided to write his backstory/fill in some of his adventures. This is a WIP, currently there are no spoilers in it, but eventually there will be some chapters that give spoilers for later in the story (and will be noted as such).

Gemini Eyes - This one shot fits in as a chapter in between chapters 85 and 87 of Roasted, Brewed, & Served with Attitude (see description below). DO NOT read it unless you have made it that far in Mel's work, otherwise you will have pretty significant spoilers. I had a lot of fun working with Mel's versions of each character, and it's always a joy to write Tech's thought processes and mannerisms. 

Fic Recs

Roasted, Brewed, & Served with Attitude - by MelMorganne99 over on AO3. It's a clever, emotional, modern AU with Crosshair x OC (and one of the best OC characters I've ever read). This fic helped me understand and appreciate the nuances of Crosshair's personality and emotional journey, and has given me endless writing inspiration. And the author is one of the kindest, most engaging people I've ever met online. Please, please, please do yourself a favor and read it. There are 99 chapters but they're on the short side and full of snarky humor and sometimes surprising cameos. This is a full blown fix it fic too, although not always in the ways you might expect!

The Vacation - by @staycalmandhugaclone is one of the best Crosshair fics (and smut fics in general) I've ever read. The writing style haunts me and both Crosshair and the OC are beautifully characterized.

(God dammit I am an idiot and accidently deleted my Intro Post...Right so here we go again.)

Hey the names Rei. I'm currently in my 30's. I go by they/them pronouns. I'm a gamer at heart and play a lot of various videogames: Skyrim, Kingdom Hearts, Octopath Traveler, Legend of Zelda, Greedfall, Fortnite, and Path of Titans to name a select few. (No I will not give you my tag nor will I play with others. That's strictly for close friends). I also have newly gotten into achievement hunting, so I spend a good several hours tracking them down.

I am an animation nerd and went to school for that as well as graphic design. Yes I drew my banner, profile picture, and DNI banner by hand. I enjoy doodling and creating characters and background designs. A major fan of Studio Ghibli. I'm currently hunting down art books for the movies and I've been gushing over the art direction of these films.

A mixer of paint during the day and occassionally working front end. I'm a hard worker and fast learner and will step up to the plate at my work when I need to.
