OH MY GOD THEYD BE THE ABSOLUTE WORST PARENTS EVER. because see i think like for a week maybe it could work out but pretty fast things would go south bc theyd compliment eachother in the worst ways possible. I think i talked abt all this stuff in my balad of arjun teena (my itager fanchild scenario) but ill say it all again YATTA! Germany would be an absolutely terrible father because hed prioritize his kid and love them more than anything else but hed be so bad at doing things right. bro huys the parenting manuels and fails them so hard bc he sounds like a robot to his kid all the time and sucks at being able to emotionally connect even though hes trying his best. and hes also the one always taking care of the kid bc hes a go getter and italys lazy but this just makes their kid dislike germany more bc they always gotta put up with his ass (and also bc the universe hates germany I think that no matter what the kid will always accidentally take germany's words the wrong way and germany will just get up and leave bc at some point he realizes there is no possible way he can recover from these misunderstandings and saying anything more will just make it worss).

Italy would be a terrible dad in the completely opposite because hed be a super chill and nice parent but like on the inside lowkey not like his kid that much RODF. Like hed think theyre fine but would think oh my GOD can this bitch leave already im tryna go on an impromptu roadtrip across america with germany today. in a world where itager loses homeostasis (another essay I wrote in the past) he's the type of guy who would try to baby trap germany and go wait... WE HAVE TO KEEP THE BABY?!? OH HELLLL NAW!!!!! And ironically i think bc italy is so chill their kid would very obviously favor italy (even though internally germany cares about their kid WAYYY more fhan Italy does) and it would be really funny bc germany would always feel lowkey sad that their kid doesnt want to spend time with germany and then italy would be internally like omfg when can i put this bitch up for adoption. So! Below are several links to programs and foundations that promote adult literacy! Hundreds of millions of adults world wide were failed by their education system and now must fend for themselves while trying to read contracts and hospital bills and infographics from the CDC. But they don't have to be alone, and it is never too late to learn!

ProLiteracy: A network of educators, researchers, and advocates which provides research reports, learning materials, and other support to adult education programs. They assist with connecting volunteers to local programs and provide guidance and support to community leaders trying to use their programs' findings to advocate for social and political change.

Adult Literacy League: An adult education program in Central Florida, which aims to provide students with one on one attention to foster growth and confidence. It also offers English Second Language courses and job skills training, and each new student receives a comprehensive assessment to determine the best plan for them.

Saint Vincent and Sarah Fisher Center's Foundational Skills Program: A 100% free adult education program aimed at adults reading below a fifth grade level. It operates year round and is either in person or remote, and they now have a GED testing center that is open to students and the public alike.

Washtenaw Literacy: A free network of trained tutors for adults in Washtenaw County, Michigan.

Adult Learning Program (Las Vegas/Clark County): Free education classes to those lacking a high school diploma, those seeking to learn ESL, and adults who read below an eighth grade level. Also assists in students' search for gainful employment. Nevada got so fucked by COVID and the education/literacy numbers in the South West are grim. Please help these guys.

Hawaii Literacy: In addition to helping adult residents of Hawaii Island learn to read and write AND bridging the education gap in Hawaii's underserved children, they offer computer literacy classes, ESL classes, and a bookmobile. 1 in 6 Hawaiian adults struggle to read and write.

Do you ever think about how Fakir, after him and Ahiru finally broke everything that kept the town of Goldkröne in the ghostly hands of its writer, after they finally have some air of peace over the town finally being able to live in its intended early 2000s environment, that Fakir still feels at times like it's not real and that for a while he fears that if he closes his eyes it'll be back in Drosselmeyer's control. Like it just doesn't feel real to him during that first year of calm, until he feels the dull pain on his recovering hand injury and Ahiru who follows him without a pendant anywhere to be found.

He doesn't feel it's real, the calm finality of this town, but he makes sure to feel the scar on his hand. And he makes sure to hold the little duck and realize that she is who she has always been. Him and the town are finally living peacefully.

Just found out that some of my colleagues were talking shit about me behind my back while I was off sick for two weeks and one of them had the audacity to complain to the headteacher about it (while she's also been sick for a while and keeps coming to school looking like death btw) because her class was missing too many German lessons and apparently 'she didn't particularly like' me getting sick. Well, guess what, I DIDN'T ENJOY IT MUCH, EITHER. It's not like I went on a two week holiday to Spain.
