Der Austausch war nicht nur sehr herzlich, sondern auch inspirierend - gemeinsam wollen wir noch wichtige Projekte für die Kinder auf den Weg bringen. 🙏

P.S. Bei der traditionellen Einheit auf unserem Bolzplatz musste ich mich verletzungsbedingt mit der Rolle des Schiedsrichters zufriedengeben - hat aber auch Spaß gemacht. 😉

I love that 🥹🥹 he considers himself normal so he is treated normal too. I think that's special about germany, celebrities don't get harrassed here when they're just out there living their lives. Like, leon will have ice cream at a café, mats will play volleyball at the park, manu will wait in line in a touristy place - yeah people can chat to them and ask for a photo but it's all so chill

I love that most German footballers are like this too 😊 For all of their talent and celebrity, they just feel like normal people and not only that, they do normal people things. Like you said, Leon cafe hops (hell, he used to live in the city of Munich), Mats chills at the park, and Manu queues at a touristy cafe like everyone else. I don’t think he still does it, but I believe that, like Leon, Manu used to ride his bike to training as well. Maybe it’s just me, but it feels like that kind of stuff is rare with footballers in general these days. Most of the time you hear about a footballer’s night/day out, it tends to be at a place they know the general public is less likely to follow them—a more upscale, expensive joint. I think it speaks to how respectful Germans are of their celebrities when they’re off the clock that they’re so comfortable going out and about. It’s absolutely something Germany as a whole should be proud of ❤️
