And dumbledore shouldn't be in charge of anything because regulus was begging him to give him protection from the death eaters and he said that he couldn't do anything to help him.

Like fuck you dumbledore, what is wrong with you a child is asking you to help because they're getting forced into basically a gang and he needs help and you decline??!! Where is the logic?!

(let me preface this by saying that my characterization might not be everybody’s, and that’s okay. my characterization is “the one” in my head, but that doesn’t mean it has to be everyone else’s “one,” and neither i nor the fics/authors i mention below are “better” in any way, shape, or form than anyone else. everyone in this fandom writes amazing works, and i’m sure there are so many wonderful fics with phenomenal regulus characterization that i haven’t read yet)

i’m gonna sound like a cunt here, but my own fics take first place for me💀i write for myself, so i write the regulus i perceive, yk? but here’s (some of) my reggieverse of madness:

@imdamagecontrol’s regulus is amazing in every fic they write, i.e. in paint it black, which to me really shows not only his “duality” but everything in between (and he’s got the cutest little nose freckles), and i’m really really excited to read more of their regulus study, all these terrible things

user georgia_sk on ao3 (i’m sorry if she has tumblr! i looked for it to try and tag her but couldn’t find it) wrote an amazing fic called whatever happened to the young, young lovers? that really encapsulates regulus for me as well
