Now here’s Ju-, I mean, Di- no wait I mean, Feng Xin! To go with Mu Qing obv
-I was worried I made his head kinda small
-His horns are inspired by a Wyvern clan Gargoyle Othello who appeared in the other show, who now goes by Coldstone, spoilers for Gargoyles sry
-Feng Xin and Broadway are also on two opposite ends of the romance spectrum. Since Broadway ended up with Angela in Canon, Feng Xin on the other hand does not want to get close to a woman!

Gargoyles Comics - The Trio and Growing up (especially if you’re a time traveller)
Interesting that the Gargoyles Comics are addressing the distance between the Trio. I remember reading somewhere ( before the comics came out) saying that the Trio had grown apart with Broadway dating Angela and Brooklyn’s time dance leaving him older and with a family of his own.
I wonder if Hudson has been entirely right about the Trio taking each other for granted. I can picture Broaway doing it, because he is caught up in his relationship with Angela, and it’s been years since the Massacre. But Lexington seems lonely, so it feels like his brothers aren’t making time for him, rather than the other way around, and Brooklyn spent 40 YEARS away from his Clan.
I am especially curios to see how Brooklyn will fit into everything, since, from his p.o.v. he has been away from 40 years, he is the one that is now roughly twice his brothers’ age and has a mate and kid.
Brooklyn and Katana have been the only adults in their little clan for a long time. They have been raising Gnash alone, without having other gargoyles doing it with them, meaning that the three of them are more like a nuclear family than a clan where each generation is raised commonly by the adults in the clan. Brooklyn hasn’t been Goliath’s secon in command for decades.
This brings me back to Hudson’s comment about the Trio taking each other from granted. It feels weird that Brooklyn doesn’t show more eagerness in reconnecting with the Manhattan Clan. Admittedly, I am not sure how long it has been since he returned from his Time Dance. Maybe the intial exitment wore off? Has he been busy being there for Katana and Gnash because they are new to the Manhattan Clan, so he doesn’t want to leave them alone too much? I mean obliviosly, even though he has just been reunited with his clan after 40 years, he is still Katana’s mate, and essentially Gnash’s father (in the human sense), so he is always going to be a bit more focused on them than the rest of the Clan, but is he purposely spending most of his time with them while they get to know the rest of the Clan? Or has Brooklyn been intentionally avoiding spending too much alone time with his brothers afraid to realize that he won’t fit in with them the same way he used to? Is he afraid he has changed and aged too much to be their rookery brother? That Lex and Broadway see him as an older friend, like Goliath, not their rookery brother?
How do Broadway and Lex feel about this Older Brooklyn. To them he was their age one moment, then the next he is Goliaths age. I am exited to see how this dynamic will play out.

broadway and unkar flex their muscles to see who has the size, a way to get to know each other since they have the same strength even though broadway is a gargoyle and unkar a mountain troll
