Here are a few art lessons I learned while continuing my TGCF Gargoyles AU:

1.Always sketch and color at your own pace.

2.Concentration is the key to eye catching art.

3.Make sure Gray and Silver contrast well.

4.Gargoyle Talons are hard as heck to draw!

Hua Cheng:

Dude would deadass pull off the three clawed wingtips. Shout out to Brooklyn, Demona, Angela and Elisa Maza for pulling it off!

As of the Canon Gargoyles Comics, Brooklyn and Hua Cheng are officially Eyepatch bros.

I hope the silver coloring pencil manages to contrast Hua Cheng’s light grey skin.

Finally finished Hua Cheng all night! Now he matches Dianxia!

Here is the first piece of artwork I did for the @cdrcrossoverbang ! I had the amazing opportunity to work with @tea-or-die and they wrote an INCREDIBLE story inspired by what I drew! You can read it here!

I honestly couldn't tell you what gave me the idea... but I do remember just sitting at work one day wondering what I should draw for this bang, and then suddenly the idea hitting me light lightning. The pose was so clear in my mind and I fell in love with it instantly. Plus, who doesn't love a good ol' monsterfucker!Dean?! XD

None of this couldn't have been possible without the amazing Tea-or-Die, who put so much love into the story! Seriously, every time I read their update, I was completely blown away! I am so thankful to have been able to work with them! I hope you enjoy what we came up with!

This Gargoyles AU has me in a chokehold. I’ve been turning it over in my head since I posted the first illustration and I just love this idea so much!

I hurt my own feelings with the first illustration. I had the thought that while Simon was cursed in stone, Baz would visit him from time to time. He'd bring him flowers and just sit and talk to him. It made my heart ache to think they'd be separated for so long

You know the 90s cartoon Gargoyles? Imagine: Gargoyle Pedro. He turns to stone during the day and comes to life at night, much to the surprise of Alma who's a rooftop cleaner. She falls off the roof in her surprise but Pedro swoops down to save her and thus begins a strange friendship...

I had to look it up but so cool⁉️⁉️⁉️ yoooo first of all. Someone get Alma a safety harness. But maybe those didn’t exist yet. Regardless, Pedro saved her so it’s all good. But Alma would probably come visit him again. And again. And she would just keep coming, her excuse it’s that the rooftop gets dirty fast when it fact it doesn’t. She’s terrible at making excuses, not that Pedro cares. He gets excited every time he sees her come onto the roof. I mean she is the only person he can talk too 😭
