About your FSM live au..

I wonder what their reaction was to Aspheera stealing Kai's elemental power (causing him to be unconscious for a good chunk of while..)

So I briefly mention it in this post that FSM kills Aspheera by burning her from the inside out as punishment for stealing the element of fire. But I'll go into more detail.

So as I've said in earlier posts, it wasn't just pure luck that Kai had the element of fire at the same time the Overlord returned, the FSM literally handpicked him. It's not the first time an elemental master has had their powers stolen and it won't be the last, and usually FSM doesn't really care all that much. But stealing the fire from Kai, who deserves the element above all else, who protected Lloyd when he most needed it, whom for fire is literally embeded in his soul? Absolutely not. They were enraged.

I just thought, if the Ninjagians were FSM's creations, wouldn't that mean that he could technically be able to destroy them too? Like, straight up wipe them from existense. Like, wouldn't that be absolutely terrifying, her going mad and showing what it's like to receive the wrath of a literal god. Man, I need to think about this more.

Hey I've got a question about phoenix Kai, if someone stumbled upon them would he kill them out of rage or ask them to kill him if they had some weapon or magic or maybe talk????

It depends on when they met Kai

After Kai escaped from the FMS, he went to live at a volcano [where the 'Golden Fire Weapons' were kept] When he cremated his family and collected the bone dust, He fell into such a state of grief that he couldn't control himself, so Phoenix's instincts took over

If you are unlucky enough to stumble upon him You might get hurt because you get close to his territory Even with his loss of identity, I don't think he can kill anyone [Maybe he'll seriously injure you]

After his consciousness returned, half of his body began to transform into a dragon. That made him start thinking about committing suicide Yes, he did, his body crumbled to dust but he revive again from ashes [ Have you heard that Kai's name used to be Ash? Oh my god, I didn't realize the connection until now ] This episode will be the time Kai goes looking for a way to kill himself. Yes, he will ask you to kill him, until FSM finally finds him That is the situation I draw this

andddd I haven't decided what to do next but eventually FSM will ask Kai to be his guardian and Kai will agree he want to keep this world safe waiting with hope for the day his family is reborn again

Ninjago Secrecy AU

So in this AU, it’s basically the same as canon, EXCEPT, the ninja stay secret.

it's not JUST their identities. It’s also their literal existence and history.

FSM didn’t want humans, who often misunderstood and killed Yōkai-kind, to know about the Elementals. So he kept himself secret, his two sons secret, and the people he’d later choose to become the first human-ish Elementals secret. Those people were street orphans and abused kids he’d rescued from other humans.

Elementals have basically been behind the scenes (and doing illegal stuff like underage driving) for several millennia, they’ve managed to keep secret all this time and continue to do so in this AU. 

When something big comes, like the Great Devourer, the ninja fix it but there’s only eyewitnesses and no camera footage and most of the time they somehow aren’t seen by humans.

Or Jay causes a blackout to make things harder for them to be seen.

Oh, yeah. And Elementals aren’t sure if they’re Humans with powers, something between Yōkai and Humans, or just full-blown Yōkai. 

They just don’t know, but they have the senses of Yōkai and they can see very well in the dark- they also have a keen sense of smell, they can follow trails. And their eyes glow, but they can control the glow when they need to. Among other things, like feeling vibrations.

Elementals also have feral instincts, though they can ignore those instincts and act human when the circumstances demand it. Lloyd, his father, and uncle all have Dragoni features like in my Headcanon #1, and they're the most feral.

The Elementals just tell people who ask that they’re a clan. They’re kind of common amongst the Realms, and to help the ninja, their clan is tiny, and sort of IS a clan, just a special one. 

Said clans that do exist either live off the land or live modernly now but they all started back in old times, and they keep touch and all nowadays. 

The Serpentine often receives a similar reception that Yōkai get, just less than that, so they don’t give the game up- they keep silent about the ninja. 

After meeting the ninja, the Formlings, the Geckles and the Munce, and others were asked to and agreed to keep quiet about the Elementals. So does Vania, (idk how that part of Master of the Mountain works but yeah).

In the AU, other Yōkai, (Kitsune, Kappas, Tanukis, Bakenekos, ect.) are more apparent and present in this, and even most of them don’t know about the ninjas, just a few friends know. 

The Elementals frequently attack and ambush Yōkai Hunters, and free the trapped Yōkai. 

There’s also more mountains around the Monastery, it’s a literal mountain range, and many Yōkai live in them. Years ago they all combined their magic to create a barrier, so humans can’t get in (they just get turned around and all,) unless they’re led, and it's really hard for someone to just find their way in, but it happens occasionally. 

IN THIS AU, THE SIX SEE EACH OTHER AS SIBLINGS, EXCEPT MAYBE JAY AND NYA, I CAN'T DECIDE.

Arin knows about the ninja ONLY because he’s from a village near the mountain of the Monastery, and his family is one of the few that the ninja trusted with the knowledge of their existence, because one of Arin’s ancestors, a few generations back, accidentally found a way into the mountains, and got caught in a storm, so the ninja of the time saved him. 

Also all the Elementals speak Yōkai. It’s their second language, and their first language is Japanese, English is their third language.  

Yeah, that’s it really.

Quick dragons rising theory (?):

This whole shattered soul thing reminds me of this lore i made on my own ninjago AU where morro has a shattered soul caused by the preeminent and now I’m thinking that if Jay ends up having a shattered soul then the ninja might try helping him using the only obvious source, the realm filled with souls called the DEPARTED DAMN REALM

This may actually also be the best way to explain wtf is happening in the departed realm because how is a realm for the people who are dead and gone and should no longer EVER enter the realm of the living is going to be effected by being forcefully merged with realms of the living.

Like genuinely wouldn’t they have to find a way to manage to still have some sort of after life??? What about the Fsm?? Sensei Garm(who’s presumably still in the departed realm)?? Chen? Cryptor? Samukai? The stone army? Dr Julien? Lilly? The other previous elemental master? Theres also the obvious Morro???

And if we’re still talking about Jay, we know Ed and Edna are gonna be big parts in his arc, but what if Libber and Cliff help fix Jay’s soul whilst Ed and Edna help return his memories??

Lololol it would be way funnier if Morro has to be their guide and gets guilt tripped inti doing it.

ok i've been inspired so heres an au where the fsm is present

he decides to come back to ninjago and sees all the shit is messed up

his kid is under stress, his other kid is in the underworld

garmadon's wife dipped for some reason and now their grandson is homeless

the new elemental masters don't even have their elements yet

his other grandson is dead(???!!!!)

ninjago is doing fine so he decides to fix his family

he yoinks Garm back and gets him and Wu to make up a bit

he tries something new he heard about and is letting Garm be an anti-hero now

which keeps garm from being too evil but helps satisfy his need for revenge

now that's taken care of, he ressurects Morro and sends him and Wu to something Mystake suggested (their-aepy? he doesn't know what it is)

now onto smaller grandchild

he goes and finds him, and brings him back to the monestary where he tells Wu, "hey this is ur nephew and he's going to be the green ninja, key word GOING because you sure as me ain't gonna start him now lol"

he finds that nobody but Jay has present parents so he adopts the rest of them as his grandchildren, jay gets a spot too bc fsm loves the guy

now they all live 2000's family sitcom style

his dragon/oni manerisms start rubbing off on them, especially garm and wu who have worked har to get rid of a bunch, and they just give up now

so now cuddle piles all the time and climbing on fsm, garm, and wu's natural forms has become commonplace

lloyd is small enough to do it all the time

they all fight bad guys together

Jade Siblings AU

An AU where Lloyd ran off before the ninjas could find him and the emperors are a teeny weeny bit obsessed with the FSM. Imagine their surprise when veeery shortly after finding Harumi they also find Lord Garmadon's kid, all alone with no family and no home! The FSM's grandson! (No, it isn't public information- the FSM is kind of a mystery to the average citizen. But they're not average citizens, now are they?) Oh, well! Garmadon is too busy causing chaos and who knows where the mother went, it wouldn't hurt to take him in! *proceeds to give him a fake name and keep him a secret for a while just in case*

Yeah.

The emperors aren't good parents. Harumi feels bitter and unloved. Lloyd also feels bitter and unloved. They hate each other at first. Hutchins is really trying.

Later, at night, they sneaked out of the palace. Hutchins found them together, burning down the shirt. At least that counts as getting along, right?

These two slowly warmed up to the other because neither of them thought of the emperors as their parents, they both hated the ninja and they would sometimes sneak out of the palace together, maybe even take turns. Oh, and their fascination for Garmadon. Lloyd would tell Harumi as much about his dad as he could. About the stories and things Garmadon did or said through letters and his super cool shadow form! And Harumi would listen intently and take notes. Which would just serve to further romanticize/idolize her view of Garmadon.

(Maybe she even felt a bit protective for the first time in her life when her lil brother Lloyd told her about the ninjas hanging him on a pole and making fun of him.)

Again, they don't see the emperors as their parents which means they don't see each other as siblings. Or, well, at least they want to believe that. They just don't refer to each other as such, to them, "Sister/Brother" is the equivalent of a strong word/phrase, kind of like struggling to say "I love you" even if you feel it- you don't just throw that word around like it's nothing, because we both know the power and emotions it truly holds. The vulnerability it brings.

Anyways...

They keep their little silly sibling rivalry because it's the only fun they have in their locked-up lives.

Mama Mystake AU Headcanons

thank you to the brilliant @ogzieoggleton for getting me obsessed with mystake and garmadon,,,,, i might write a couple of these actually. but anyway, here are the headcanons

i think garmadon would've stayed with mystaké a lot as a child. i think she would've had a room in the tea house for him, and would've taught him everything she could about oni culture, since the fsm didn't teach his sons about it due to his trauma. i think they would've spoken the language of the oni to eachother, and garmadon would've helped to serve customers and find ingredients in her garden. mystake would've taught him how to plant a herbs, and take care of them, with the shiso he planted that day remaining in her garden for thousands of years. mystake would've called him 'pup', and garmadon couldn't pronounce mystake, so to the pup, she became 'mama'. when he turned the oni equivalent of three, she dressed him up in the littlest kimono she could find, and took him to the small altar she had in the back of the tea house, as ninjago didn't have shrines for oni, and celebrated him surviving infanthood. mystake would've watched and tried not to laugh as his face lit up when she presented him with a sweet treat, only for the majority of it to end up on his cheeks rather than in his mouth

mystake would've told him of all of the folklore from whence they came, and taught him how to make all of the traditional dishes, especially the sweet ones. mystake would've told him about the first realm and all of the beauty and dangers it held, and helped him when his horns finally came in, holding ice on the horn buds to stop the pain. she taught him how to be gentle with his claws and teeth, and how to hunt, watching on proudly as the pup pounced onto a rabbit, his tail wagging excitedly as he whined happily, showing off the very first thing he had caught by himself. she bundled him up as much as he could so garmadon could go and play in the snow with the human children, as his soft pup fur wouldn't keep him warm like the course fur of an adult oni would. mystake would often return from the garden to find the pup curled up in a nest she'd made for him, snoring away. mystake would've watched proudly as white markings began to appear on his chubby little body as he grew into the oni equivalent of a 1 year old, when he no longer needed pitch black fur to camouflage into the dark mountains where oni had traditionally lived, and could now stand out against a dark background with his white markings. mystake would pretend to not see him when he scampered away to avoid bathtime, hiding under the table where she could easily see him, only to snatch the pup up at the last second

mystake had never been able to have pups of her own. but the moment that the first spinjitzu master had asked her to care for his newborn pup while he created another realm, that hole in her heart was filled by the little hybrid

neither of them knew that garmadon would die in thousands of years, and mystake would be forced to mourn her pup. she was too busy purring the pup back to sleep after he'd awoken from a nightmare

neither of them knew that garmadon would murder her in thousands of years, and regret it until the day he died once more. mystake only looked on proudly as the pup stumbled around the tea house, hefting around the toy kanabo she had made for him and giggling loudly

Welp mostly. Zane became too rusty and his system too overloaded that he shut himself while lloyd stayed alive

Since lloyd was tired of living he offed himself yet unfortunately his grandpa wanted to stick his nose in that again and took lloyd’s soul

Talking to lloyd he was asking him why he didn’t want to continue living? Lloyd told him “your world and place fucking sucks and you suck too”/jk but seriously he told him how he didn’t want to live where the purpose he was made for was finished. Living aimless was tiring which made the fsm hum and told him “your life have a lesson you need to follow lloyd. Dont be impatient” which made lloyd wake up. He looked at the floor now anger building up slowly inside him since even his death have to be controlled as well and have to do another life discovery shit soo he was tired-

-but when he wanted to lay down in his apartment (i made him live a depressed life. Isolated and only on social media) but he stumbled upon a meme which says “when your father hates you so much that you work with fatherless people as well” and his photo in some stupid cgi thingy which made him look at the website only to be shocked since that website talk about joke/dumb legends and there was a category called “the ninjas”

Looking at it he was crashed at how much activity was there. Sure not everyone thinks that way but the fact that its someones idea and someone made this despite the ninjas dying to save them send lloyd to the edge-

-remembering all the unreasonable mistreatment. He decided he had enough

No more playing angel. No more caring for rules. And definitely no more caring for others safety being when they didn’t care about his

He finally opened his crusty door and walked out of that shitty apartment now walking to the grief his friends were buried in. What fsm didnt know that giving lloyd an element that resembles life would be a bad idea. Now after stealing some guts and like healthy parts and fixing the ninja’s bodies he used his power to wake them up(still thinking of this part) and made them rest in his apartment until they feel well(and greenflame happening)

But accidentally kai was worried when lloyd was late making him walking on (unstable) his new legs looking around which caught attention

After some weeks lloyd got an invitation from the ninjago news to meet which made him shocked and confused yet he agreed because he wanted to see how the citizens would react to a new approach of him-

-and after dressing nicely to at least get some positive comments he finally came(after giving smoochies to kai☝️)but the meet up was because they news were shocked about lloyd. The good lloyd! The sweetheart innocent souled lloyd! Bringing back dead

The way they asked him about that and the way they talked made it seem like some fanfic. Not serious. Not taking him seriously as ever

Looking at this lloyd got tired and took the plate on the table infront of him and smashed it then lunged at the news reporter and started slashing him. The news cut due to the quote-on-quote “poor signal” yet when it came back lloyd was holding the mic glaring at the camera or the viewers as he said “you think this is a joke right? A silly thing to be taken? The green ninja bringing his friends to life? What a story! Let me tell you something. You always wished me to be on the light to be your joke or talk right? To be the gossip or some kimd of those belittling conversations right? Well!” And lift his hands smiling now a “welcoming” smile “here i am!! But..im not her to be your fun today. I used to be but..i dont think you will find this funny. This is the ninjago disrespect group news for today. Have the worse night of yours lets see how you can keep up with your own actions” and then the story will be this ‘show,s’ episodes while lloyd leads most of the people who helped ninjago yet never received their own thanking and stuff like that!

FSM Lives AU Memes

So, uh, you said Nyad and FSM will be reuniting in you're teen FSM au. How does that go?

So basically FSM is very attached to Nya which makes her realise how important Nyad was to him, and at one point she brings him on a shore and uses her powers to try to call out to Nyad like she did call Merlopians in Crystallised and hoped she would sense it (this was after the Merge so she was unsure whether or not Nyad was okay), and Nyad then came to the signal, FSM had to hold back tears in suprise. They talked at first, something along the lines of "You look familiar, did I know you?" "Yeah, we knew each other before you- y'know" and Nyad invited FSM for a swim (something they had done before Nyad turned into the sea, FSM shapeshifted into the species Nyad was in order to breathe) and they went really far and Nyad showed him how peaceful the sea was, even after the Merge, because the ecosystems had managed to adapt to each other and live in harmony (in contrary to the earth screaming) and FSM realised how much better it was for Nyad to be the sea, even if it meant that she would easily forget him.

At the end before going back to the surface, FSM hugged Nyad and cried for a good while. He resurfaced with a little bit lighter heart and a little more of internal peace, since then he has been going swimming with Nyad every now and then.

(TLDR, morro redemption, platonic soulmates, evil trauma goo, greencousins)

lore:

* a “soul tie” is a bond between a ghost and a mortal that allows the ghost to exist in the mortal world without fading, however they can only be seen/heard by the person they are soultied to, unless they are possessing that person. they may be able to be seen by others, if they get over their dumb trauma or whatever. if a soul tie lasts longer than a month without being broken, the ghost becomes human. however, the two individuals are forever intertwined. if one gets hurt, falls ill, or dies, so does the other. if the two individuals are apart for over a week, they will fall ill. if the separation lasts longer than a month, the illness can be fatal. soultied individuals are technically immortal in a way. they can die, just not from natural cases (excluding the separation illness).

* ‘the darkness’ is an entity that presents itself as multiple entities that originates from the realm of madness. its end goal is to turn ninjago into a realm of darkness - it’s what it was created to do by the overlord (who doesn’t appear in this season.) it, along with everything in the world of madness, was originally created as a weapon to be used in the battle between the overlord and the fsm. the realm of madness is essentially a storage compartment where the fsm dumped all the overlord’s weapons that were too powerful to destroy. the darkness targets peoples deepest insecurities/fears.

* yumei was morro’s little sister, before he met wu. he wasn’t there to protect her when she passed, and has held onto that guilt for decades.

basic plot:

after season 10, sensei garmadon soul ties lloyd and morro (partially to aid the ninja in defeating the darkness but also to give morro the second chance at life he will never have - he sees a lot of himself in morro). he sends morro off to the land of the living with instructions to warn the ninja about the darkness. the end goal of the season is to un-soul tie lloyd and morro and well as defeat the main villain: the darkness.

at first, lloyd and morro can’t stand each other. lloyd attempts to make friends but morro is pissed as all hell about this and won’t budge. after a while, however, they start becoming really close - friends, even. lloyd starts letting morro share conciseness with him. as morro reconciles with each of the ninja (and wu), they start gaining the ability to see him too. other than lloyd, pixal was the only person who could see/hear him from the beginning, as she had no specific anger toward him, unlike the others. when it eventually comes to unknotting the soultie, they are both hesitant, but morro, in spite of how much he hates the departed realm, reassures him that it’s okay.

when trying to break the soultie, lloyd’s want for morro to stay causes his elemental energy to interact with the soultie, making it permanent. morro is alive again, and the two are intertwined forever.

morro is mad at lloyd and avoids him. he goes to stay with pixal and borg, pixal being the only one without any real grudge on him. he never asked to be alive again. he never asked to be chained to lloyd forever. but after a week, the symptoms of the illness start kicking in, and the two have no choice but to reunite.

after making up, morro agrees to help the others defeat the darkness. in the final battle, lloyd is injured badly, meaning morro is too (due to the soultie). morro attempts to sacrifice himself and give himself up to the darkness, as the darkness was created by the overlord, the only known entity powerful enough to destroy a soultie, meaning lloyd would survive. morro can’t lose another little sibling.

morro doesn’t die, however. the soultie interacts with lloyd’s energy again, making him more powerful than ever. together, him and morro defeat the darkness.

anyways! i love this au with my whole heart ❤️❤️

Hello!

I was wondering about something regarding your Phoenix Kai Au.Why did the fire elemental dragon thingy choose Kai specifically? And why did it pass on its powers in the first place? Was it dying due to injuries and just wanted for the power to live on inside someone else? And was Kai the one to recieve them bc he was the last one standing among his family? Rn I'm sort of assuming that for plot reasons Kai's brothers and sisters died in battle before him and before the monster got to him, he got the powers, bc he was the closest living person who could recieve them.

Unless, the dragon had other reasoning, like it just liked him or sth. Of course, I'll undersand if it's not that deep and Kai got the powers just bc you, as the athor of the Au, wanted him to lol. I was curious if there was an in-univerese reason tho.

phoenix did not have the power of immortality or never death. They have the ability to rise from the ashes. The moment they were resurrected, they would only become kid almost all of their powers will reset [but their memories remain] although it will take a few years to fully recover but they were at war with the Overlords and needed as much power as they could That made them want to give their power to Kai

Oh, right. The reason that elemental dragon in Ninjago because they were close to FSM, always visiting him between worlds and when Overlord happens They want to help as much as they can

the reason why they chose Kai was because

1. They liked Kai's family so much [especially Lloyd] so they often disguised themselves as little animals to visit them

2. They feel the compatibility between Kai and fire elemental If all this didn't happen Perhaps Kai was chosen to be the First Elemental Master of Fire :3

Someone please draw my OC (This Includes My Headcanon #1)

My OC's name is Arcturus, but he prefers being called Arc.

He has ice-blue-white wings, a night fury tail that is also ice-blue-white, ice-blue-white ears, and deep ice-blue blue eyes. He has dull dark gray horns that are somewhere between Oni horns and Dragon horns. His hands are clawish (Like his hands look normal but they have all the claw abilities and all). Otherwise, he looks human with white hair, wearing white stuff because somewhere along his bloodline there's an Ice dragon.

So this is an AU where there are more Oni-Dragon-Human hybrids, but the FSM fam is one of a kind, they're also Elementals but they stay low profile... But the ninja-elemental clan has no qualms about taking in orphans or runaways or rescuing kids that are mistreated (kidnapping in extreme cases, like abuse), no exceptions, all species. Including Dragoni pups.

in this AU, Some Dragoni go through this thing called the Oni phase- where their Oni blood controls them, and they are more aggressive in short bursts for some time, the length of time and when in a Dragoni's life -or if it even happens to them- varies from Dragoni to Dragoni.

Arc's father, Azymondias (I stole that from the Dragon Pince, sue me) looks just like him but with bigger wings, those claws-talon things at the wing joint like some dragons, Oni horns, a spiked tail, darker blue eyes, silver-blue scales that run down from his hair in a straight line to between his eyebrows, Oni fangs, and he's really big.

Arc has two older brothers, Adam, six years older than him, who is completely their father's spitting image except he has dragon horns and teeth, and a rare Oni tail.

His other brother is Asher four years older than him, who looks exactly like Arc except his scales are brown his eyes are purple (Oni trait) and he has Oni horns.

When Arc was born was around the time Azym went into the Oni phase. thanks to this, he horridly abused his youngest son, Arcturus, while his two other sons, Adam, and Asher, could just watch.

But one day, when Arc was almost 4, his father was, well, chasing him, and this other Dragoni-Elemental, who was a younger Garmadon, crashed into Azym, and started trying to fight him off, away from Arc, while another Dragoni-Elemental, a younger Wu, grabbed Arc and flew while Garmadon unsuccessfully tried to get Adam and Asher.

Arc was pretty badly hurt, and by the time Garmadon and Wu got him back to their clan's hideout, the monastery, he was barely alive.... but somehow, he lived.

Now, there was another young ninja at the monastery- Zayde, Ice ninja, the one who later chose Zane. Zayde (Zay for short) was just three years older than Arc. He saw when Wu and Garmadon brought Arc in and hung around the room he was in before sneaking in once the adults left. He and Arc got pretty close, so Zay's father, Zack, took Arc in.

Arc trained to be a ninja and learned Spinjitzu (because why not)

He and Zay got to the point of referring to each other as their brother, Zay will actively call Arcturus his little brother.

Nowadays Arc lives on a mountain near the monastery and generally just helps with training and is a friend. He’s pretty close to the six.

I will or already have released a poll on whether i should have Arc run back into his reformed father and brothers, and have them reconcile. Here is the link to the poll
