There’s only one reason i rewatch the pilot episodes of Ninjago and it’s for Garmadon’s voice.

it's time I come out: I am a Samukai fan. He's in my top 5, if not number one, Ninjago villains.

I finally got around to building and playing ninjago the board game and oh my god it is the cutest thing ever

It's a very silly game, easy and luck based mostly. I played 3 times with my dad and we won all 3, only getting to the final battle once

It's adorable! All the game pieces are TINY. 1x1 lil guys <3 I held zane to give you some perspective. My hands are too wobbly to get a clear picture of all of them but I tried

Also the best part I had no idea about: at the end of the instruction book THERES A LITTLE COMIC AND ITS THE CUTEST THING EVER

LOOK AT THEM. LOOK AT THE BABIES. I WOULD DIE FOR THEM.

Anyway I'm happy :D if anyone wants to know how the game works/how to play I'd love to explain

Sneak peak at a project I'm working on - I'm making a compilation of every canon Spinjitzu scene in Ninjago, including Dragons Rising, the 2011 mini-movies, the Virtues of Spinjitzu, and the Tales of the Monastery.

Forbidden Spinjitzu and Spinjitzu Burst will be included, but Airjitzu and Shatterspin might not be (I haven't decided that yet).

I'll even be keeping count of every time each individual character does Spinjitzu to see who does it the most times across the series.

This video shows only the Pilot episodes' Spinjitzu scenes, but I've already made it halfway through S3, so I should be finished by the end of February.

Quick dragons rising theory (?):

This whole shattered soul thing reminds me of this lore i made on my own ninjago AU where morro has a shattered soul caused by the preeminent and now I’m thinking that if Jay ends up having a shattered soul then the ninja might try helping him using the only obvious source, the realm filled with souls called the DEPARTED DAMN REALM

This may actually also be the best way to explain wtf is happening in the departed realm because how is a realm for the people who are dead and gone and should no longer EVER enter the realm of the living is going to be effected by being forcefully merged with realms of the living.

Like genuinely wouldn’t they have to find a way to manage to still have some sort of after life??? What about the Fsm?? Sensei Garm(who’s presumably still in the departed realm)?? Chen? Cryptor? Samukai? The stone army? Dr Julien? Lilly? The other previous elemental master? Theres also the obvious Morro???

And if we’re still talking about Jay, we know Ed and Edna are gonna be big parts in his arc, but what if Libber and Cliff help fix Jay’s soul whilst Ed and Edna help return his memories??

Lololol it would be way funnier if Morro has to be their guide and gets guilt tripped inti doing it.
