So does anybody else ever think about how Loop felt the need to demonstrate that the party's deaths wouldn't have any effect on the loops. I know I do but that's besides the point. Anyway I don't think Loop actually needs to bathe, they just like to feel included.

can’t stop thinking about soap being the kind of boyfriend that takes you on arcade or carnival dates. he definitely takes all of the games WAY too seriously. absolutely smokes everyone at skeeball. probably does those stupid punching bag/hammer strength tests just to show off in front of you. he doesn’t even let you win he’s that competitive. but it’s kinda funny and endearing. he wins a TON of tickets and then gets you the biggest fucking stuffed animal they have even as you protest and tell him that you have no place to put it.

his little mohawk popping around the head of the giant puppy stuffed animal he won you boyish smile plastered on his face while he ignores your protests. you’re stuck with the thing forever now.

Lately I've seen a lot of complaining in the dungeon meshi tag about how now there is a lot more m/m works on ao3 than f/f but like farcille is still the most written pairing and by a lot :

And the reason why m/m is more popular is because there are more possible pairings like labru, kabumisu, chilshi, laishuro and others, while f/f ships with the main characters the only available options are farcille and marcille/izutsumi. And Kabru being the most shipped character with the male characters it's kinda cool because it is still rare to see characters with dark skin being shipped with the main character in anime fandoms (I literally can't think of any another example of a character with dark skin being part of the most popular slash ship in a anime fandom).

#also people if you want more farcille content go and write it #it's what the labru shippers are doing #and I get it that sometimes being a femslash writer can be a little frustrating I've published 432 femslash works on ao3 #and in general they are way less popular than my m/m and f/m works because it seems that the only people interested in reading f/f are wlw #but it can be really rewarding even with a smaller audience #thoughts #fandom #dungeon meshi

I don't have a lot of complex thoughts about it, actually! Just the idea of having a "sexy" outfit that draws the eyes to certain parts of the body -- while simultaneously being modest and Sharp. Having an edge to it. Also!!!! The luna moth inspired wings!!! I wanted to stay within her og color palette, but I've also always thought luna moth wings would suit her... the top wing is vaguely heart shaped, too!

#ruffled feathers #sometimes work is so fucking frustrating #like i had this one kid hit another kid and then when i told him off he just mocked me and then the entire class laughed #and like. there's nothing i can do. i can't send him out of the classroom bc i'm not allowed (there's nowhere to send him)#i can't call his parents bc i'm not allowed (and my japanese wouldn't be good enough to speak to them anyway)#i told him he couldn't join in the game and he just didn't care. spent the game throwing stuff at other kids + ruined it for everyone #then he shoved some crayons up his nose/in his ears and started running around #which is. y'know. REALLY FUCKING DANGEROUS so i can't just ignore it #when i spoke to the japanese teacher she was like 'ohh he has adhd' and i'm like ??? he assaults others. that's NOT bc of adhd #i don't work at a school i work at an eikaiwa. i'm the only staff member on location (no assistant no receptionist etc)#i have 11 kids in that class. most of them are 6-7 years old #and the japanese teacher just lets them do what they want most of the time so it's basically impossible to control them #i just. i fucking hate this classroom honestly. the kids are so disrespectful #i know it's not just me like everyone i've spoken to says it's a Problem Classroom #but also. it makes me feel like i'm a bad teacher bc i can't control the kids #it makes me feel like i should just quit my job bc obviously i'm bad at it #anyway i'm really not looking for advice here i'm just venting so please spare me the 'have you tried' messages #i've already asked my supervisor and senpais for advice and the general consensus is we need more staff #and also for the jt to not actually tolerate 7-year-olds behaving like 2-year-olds #delete later

I've had a few people reach out and ask if they can write stuff about that AU (or just straight up say they're going to take it without asking, haha..) so I'm gonna answer this one publicly as a blanket answer that's basically "yes"!

I don't own the concept of a childhood friends AU and I'm sure I'm not the first person to think about Usopp & Sanji meeting when they were young, so already I don't feel right telling people they can't take inspo from my AU. And also, I'd love to read more people's takes and interpretations on this AU and sanuso in general!

Sometimes I can be precious about my concepts in case I'd like to work them into my own comics/stories but I think this one is fair game! If you take direct inspiration from my work in your fic then I would appreciate credit/a link back, but like I said, I can't really claim ownership over such a broad concept.

Let me know if you publish it though so I can read it!

#SanUso #in general I am usually happy for people to write fic based on/inspired by my work but I do appreciate being asked #I know I don't own these characters etc but it does frustrate me sometimes to see writers-#-treat other fan works as free real estate up for grabs instead of an already-existing narrative exploration in its own right #we all take inspiration from each other so the line can be hard to draw but sometimes I feel like I'm not even seen-#-as a human being or as a fellow creator but just as a random prompt generator for their personal use #and that people are doing me a favour by Elevating my simple pictures to the written word haha #but if you don't do that we're all good!

[Why I ever thought I was going to finish a piece with four major light sources, in three colours, and about a billion rocks, on time, is another matter entirely. No comment.]

Sometimes your protégé/ward/son falls in a big bloody hole at the arse-end of Mount Silver and you've got to go and fish him out and it turns into a whole thing. Then the things living in the hole become a whole other thing and really, the inconvenient fact that Dragonite don't fit into small spaces is only the beginning of your problems!

there's something so comforting about artists you admire talking about their own struggles and insecurities

#txt #was watching supereyepatchwolf's video on chainsaw man again and listening to fujimoto express regret about things he didnt learn #and how he's clearly envious of his peers is so... comforting?#i think about my own strengths and flaws and often times i get so frustrated with my shortcomings #im not good at drawing feet; my backgrounds are purposefully simplistic and lack a lot of detail; sometimes my designs have a tendency to #overlap or feel very 'safe' in terms of what i really want to do #its why; despite my love for clowning on media and animated works. i never want to feel like its from a place of malice #the joy of art is always seeing those little mistakes and nuances. its also noticing the achievements other creators have made that you #still lack #even for a certain hell-based show i love to poke fun at for its many. many issues. its undeniable how incredibly passionate the work is.#and i do respect anyone who is willing to get their flawed media out there (myself included)#i see stuff about people calling me their inspo or how flattered they are when i compliment their work and its like. gee. i hold myself at #such a high bar and even still im always surprise when people tell me how much my work moved and changed them #i really love writing just little fun things that i just dont really see anyone else touching and its kind of fun how despite my own #personal grievances with my own flaws and mistakes #people really do find things that they love within them.#anyways I know this is getting long but I’ve just been getting sentimental abt the creation of art #sometimes people make fun of me for love of drawing women and lesbians and bugs and so on #and while I will never let me deter me from my process. sometimes it does get to me #but then I remember that I love doing this and could ever see myself holding back #and knowing despite how other people feel.
