I understand some people are more lenient with their language, I’m not trying to discredit that at all. However, there is also a very large amount of afab/female writers. Bc we don’t have penises or the male anatomy, we don’t always know how to write in the perspective of an amab/male person.

If you’re disappointed with what you are reading, try writing yourself. It’s not easy to motivate yourself, and when people come on to YOUR page to tell YOU that what you’re writing is crap bc you don’t feel comfortable writing an experience you’ve never had, or never will have, is entitlement at its finest.

I’m not trying to invalidate your point. As someone who is afab but unsure of their identity, I also read gn fics and see fics that should clearly be tagged as a female reader. Do I leave comments? No. I scroll and continue about my day.

Be the change you want to see, that’s what I did and now I can put out the content that I wanted to see, and hopefully inspire other people to do the same.
