.. EVERYBODY KNOWS THAT I’M A GOOD GIRL, OFFICER !
◟⪩⪨ summary ! after finally capturing you and visiting your dorm for what seemed like eternity now, he’s realizing that he’s in love with you ; basically just a short fic of wrio being a sweetheart ^^
◟⪩⪨ warnings ! gn! reader, the title is just a reference to a song dw, wriothesley being confusing, he changes your clothes lol, fluff, no use of y/n except for once, very self indulgent, i think that’s all lmk if i missed anything <3
minutes turned into hours and hours turned into days, days turned into weeks and weeks turned into months.
that was the absurd amount of time that took wriothesley to finally lock you up.
but here he was, oblivious to your moves and acts, hiding your facade with a gentle smile, which is the reason why almost everyone in the fortress claimed that you were one of the nicest criminals here.
it was almost as if you didn’t do anything wrong at all.
tonight, the dark vibrancy of the clouds near its nightly leave, the stars beginning to take over the sky’s surface.
here he was, sitting next to you on the rough surface of the so-called “bed” that you were sleeping in, when in reality this “bed” was made of full on metal!
“how do you manage to sleep like this?” he suddenly begins.
hmm… maybe because you can’t sleep anywhere else?
“i don’t know, i used to be known for being a heavy sleeper, no matter the area.”
“so you can just flat out sleep on the grass?”
“okay, maybe not.”
he chuckled.
so that’s why everyone’s so fond of you, your gentle facade and your beautiful laughter that could be the number one thing that would top a movie off if you were in it.
as the days passed by into more interesting days that suddenly had you more motivation to even do things in the fortress, wriothesley began to notice how less awkward you were being with him, and how you weren’t as shy and hesitant as you used to be.
as soon as fun things start, they end too quickly, as well.
furthermore, some things can go bad, just like how fruits can go rotten as soon as they’re not taken care of as much.
because knowing wriothesley, he was practically the top one procrastinator in the world.
in this situation, wriothesley wasn’t really doing his job on checking up on you unless he hasn’t been seeing you in sight almost every where. sometimes, as much as he didn’t want to, every time you were not in sight near your dorm, he usually got nervous and began to scold you.
…and he instantly did what he had to do.
“where were you?” he asked in a what seemed like an aggravated tone.
“relax, i was playing in the pankration ring earlier after i grabbed food.” you replied, there you were again, acting as if everything was okay when you almost gagged and vomited at the purple appearance of the food you were served, which you practically had to gulp down in one go, if you were that hungry atleast.
and of course, there were times when wriothesley just randomly decided to be the confusing man he is and instantly switch up just to flirt with you.
he was one to make sure that you believed that he had a little something in his slightly cold heart for you.
“you still do that?” he chuckles “that’s cute.”
“what?”
…
“wanna go out today?”
…confusing guy.
you never even hesitated to say yes to him whenever he offered to take you somewhere out of the rancid mess of the fortress.
he only ever rarely did this, though.
after your little “appointment” that you had with him, you felt like you were rejuvenated once again.
but why does it still feel like wriothesley’s eyes were on you the entire time rather than just paying attention to what you two were buying in this absurdly small shop?
don’t think too much of it, though. all he wants to do is commit for his wrongdoings for you, after all.
as much as he knows how confusing he can be, he knows who you are.
he knows that you prefer cream cheese over butter, he knows that you don’t like matcha flavored tea, and he almost knows that your whole gentle facade is just an act for him to like you.
and it’s all just an act to be one of the nicest criminals in the fortress, too.
but who was he to care, when all he wanted to do was take care of you?
…and he only ever took you out to show you his empathy for you.
why can’t you just realize he’s in love with you?
on the final day, your release.
“wriothesley!” you yelp out, feeling his frozen hands pull off your dirty prison uniform’s shirt.
“what? i do this with everyone, you’re not special, sweetheart.”
now that was clearly a lie. you were the only one he had fully taken care of like this. after all, he cared for you like you weren’t even a criminal in the first place, that you didn’t even do anything wrong in the first place.
…
sigh.
“wrio.”
“i don’t wanna leave this place if it means i’m leaving you here, without me!” you frowned.
he fully knows who you are now.
that whole gentle facade you always put on quickly faded away as soon as your ego went soaring through the roof when you implied that he couldn’t live without you.
that’s the y/n he wants to see.
he chuckles.
finally.
his fingers shaking in anticipation as he clothed you into the outfit he bought for you last night when you were sleeping, he leans up to place his lips on yours.
“you won’t. i won’t leave you.”

Romanticizing life Part 4
Food ⋆.ೃ࿔*:・୭ 🧷 ✧ ˚. ᵎᵎ 🎀
This is just gonna be abt healthy food swaps and things different foods can do for you, I'm not promoting Ed at all!!
Note‼️‼️
Only do these if you want to, you should enjoy your life. That means don't do food swaps all the time, treat yourself! To be honest I probably won't do any of these because I'm happy with my body and don't have too, you should be happy with yourself too!
Eating Healthy 🍓
It is important to eat healthy! It can do lots for your body, skin, and mood, I'm going to give you some healthy food swaps and tasty snacks to help!
Toxic things to get out of your head 🐇
Before I'm going to share these it's important to me that you don't use this unhealthy, stop telling yourself these things
"I need to eat healthy to loose weight"
No, you don't. All bodies are shaped different and process food differently, allergies for example. Not everyone has allergies so what makes you think everyone processes all food the same? You can still be healthy without 'looking healthy'
"I'll only eat for energy, not taste"
Man just enjoy your life 😭 I see ppl say this a lot but it doesn't make sense. Break your shell and try more foods and flavors, enjoy yourself
"I have to look like them"
Nuh uh! You're hotter 💋
Remember if you wouldn't say it to a bunny DO NOT SAY IT TO YOUR SELF‼️‼️
Food swaps 🍡
Here's some food swaps for you!
Sugary cereal ~ Oats with fruit
Ice cream ~ acai bowl
Coffee ~ matcha/Chai
Chips ~ Popcorn
White bread ~ sourdough
My personal favorite healthy foods 🧁
I'd consider myself a pretty picky eater so when it comes to healthy foods this is what I eat
I love all fruits strawberries, blueberries, bananas ect. Fruits are great bc you can do lots with them, you can make smoothies, put them in yogurt or just eat them normally
Peanut butter, okay so I'm not a huge fan but there's a lot you can do with peanut butter and you an make really healthy stuff with it
Granola, guys granola is soooo good I used to eat the bars and they had honey on them too it was so good
Honey is also good but yk
Hummus.. Lowkey feel like a nerd for saying I like it but I do. If you wanna be healthy with it you could use cucumbers!
Cucumbers>>> squash (I hate squash it's so disgusting :p)
Tuna, it has like Idk it's good for you in some ways I wasn't really listening to my father when he was talking abt it
I love nuts!! I think they're a good quick snack
I'd you don't like water get some of the flavors things, they have energy and low cal ones
Apparently dark chocolate is gold for you too sooo
Salmon is also healthy hehe >:)
Chia seeds barley taste like anything so put them in your yogurt or something
TEA TEA IS SOOOOOO GOOD
Things foods can do for you 🍮
Idk how much of this is true but I'm not gonna gatekeep just in case
Dark chocolate can
Holy crap apparently it can protect against UV rays?? 😭😭
It fights tooth decay
And it's a brain food
More brain food
Nuts
Avocados
Eggs

these were both really good! they kinda tasted like gushers since they had gushers in em. just soda with some nice flavors in there! super sweet! the sburb alpha was my favorite
third image- the mayor strawberry - i didnt eat the strawberry part but the chocolate was nice and Juice says the strawberry wasn't great, since it isn't strawberry season. he says "it was okay!" enthusiastically lol. it was a real big strawberry 😳 and it was super cute :3
fourth image - Grimsnark Milk Tea: Passion fruit, Jasmine, Marigold, and rose milk tea with a green matcha cold foam - not actually the fuckin neon green color from that picture requiem shared lol! i didn't care for this cause i'm not a fan of how strongly rose-flavored it was? but juice enjoyed it, and the green matcha cold foam was nice :3 Strawberry Lalonde: Strawberry and Rose lemonade topped with sprite - delicious!!! i think the rose part of it gave it the slight flavor of tasting like it was spiked, which was fitting lol and it also came with pink rock candy!!
fifth image - The Pumpkin Rodeo: uhhh i cant find the official description of this but it was two waffles with pumpkin ice cream, whipped cream, green sprinkles, and a candied orange slice! - SO FUCKING GOOD but expensive! but the waffles were fresh and hot and it was so awesome. yummyyy i miss it

Dear Sephiroth: (a letter to a fictional character, because why not) #358
So remember how at the end of yesterday's letter, I said that today's would be taco-flavored?
Well!!! Here it is!!! Ta-daaaaaaaaa...!!!!!!
Oh. Uh. It occurs to me... maybe you aren't exactly familiar with tacos. Tacos come from a country called Mexico, which is a place that is south of my country! Actually, Mexico has all kinds of awesome foods, awesome music, awesome festivals and holidays, and...
...I guess I feel really lucky to live in a world that has so many different places and ways of being. The humans of my world are endlessly creative, and they always seem to find ways to get by wherever they're at, with whatever foods are available to them in their region.
...Seriously, the sheer vastness of things that humans are able to eat is probably one of the main reasons why we're so astonishingly adaptable.
In any case!!! I dunno if there are regions in your world that have anything similar to tacos. Maybe Costa Del Sol has them? You'll have to tell me about it sometime.
Anyway!! Even if you're not familiar with tacos, that's okay. This guy wasn't familiar with them at first, either. He's got a funny story about that; maybe it'll make you laugh:
youtube
...Goodness, but I'd give just about anything to hear the sound of your joyful, wholesome laughter...
…
Anyhoot! So I made tacos today!! I'll show you how in a bit!! But before I made tacos, I went out to Eggcellent to meet Br, the dandelion-haired man. I was a little disappointed that he didn't bring his wife with him; it means I didn't get a chance to talk to her about the $300 he randomly gave to me yesterday.
...Sigh.
Well. I got my usual thing. A rose matcha latte with tea jelly, sago, and cream cheese foam. I wasn't really feeling barley bits today. I also got a crème brûlée:
Today, the crème brûlée came in a heart-shaped purple tin, and I thought it was very cute!
Br and I talked about various things for a long time. J didn't come with me because he went to the little airport to do a little more maintenance on his little airplane. But then, after a while, he was done, and unexpectedly, he visited Eggcellent while I was still there!!! And I was so happy!!! J and Br and I talked together for a long time. I had planned to get a bell pepper for today's fresh salsa, and to fill the car with gas, but we talked for so long that, between the rain and the hour, it was dim enough outside that the astigmatism was gonna make the headlights, streetlights, and stoplights a bit of a problem for me. So I didn't go get a bell pepper or the gas; I just followed J home, and that was super duper helpful.
When I got home, I began taco preparations pretty much right away, because R was supposed to visit today, and he had asked for tacos! I began by melting some leftover bacon/pancetta fat in my handy-dandy wok:
...Seriously, a wok is the dyspraxic cook's best friend; mine's got a nice big bottom, and the deep sides make it really easy for me to scootle stuff around without spilling anything. It's good stuff!!!
Anyhoot, so I had these chicken breasts thawing on the counter:
...I dunno if you remember the slicing technique I showed you in the last letter I wrote about making gyros, but... I used that same slicing technique to cut the chicken into tiny cubes:
From there, I put it in the wok to cook:
I used the time to zest a lemon and a lime. When we zest a citrus fruit, basically we use a special tool to get all the color off its peel:
...In the end, you're left with a citrus fruit that's easier to peel or to cut in half, and a bowl full of flavorful zest that you can use in other things!
...Yum!!
So, once the chicken cooked, I drained out the juices into a separate bowl for later use in making refried beans!
From there, I decided to make homemade adobo. You can get it store-bought, and that's good, too, but I didn't have any premade adobo, and I had all the stuff in my spice cabinet to make it at home:
This is... salt, garlic powder, onion powder, mixed and white peppercorns, cumin, smoked paprika, oregano, ground coriander, turmeric, and just a bit of sweet dark chili powder to give it a little “kick”...!
(...but not too much kick, because my body really doesn't like capsaicin, and too much will make me cry, hahaha...)
...Anyway, I seasoned the chicken with some combination of the above spices (just taste it as you go along; your body will tell you what you need more of or less of – it's totally fine!). I also used half of the lemon-lime zest. But I guess I forgot to get a picture. But that's fine; you'll see it later!
Anyway, so I put the seasoned chicken into a bowl and began making the refried beans! Normally, I work with dried black beans that come in bags, but I was pressed for time and energy, so I used canned black beans instead. I just dumped the whole can in there without draining it; it's fine, I promise. The extra liquid will evaporate a little bit, and leave the resulting beans with a creamy and delicious texture.
I began by warming up the chicken juices and some more bacon/pancetta fat in the wok:
...Then I added the beans and let them simmer for a bit:
Once they simmered for a while, I got out my handy-dandy masher and started mashing them up!
...Once they're mashed, their starches incorporate the fluids they simmered in quite nicely. I seasoned them with a bit of cumin, a bit of salt, and quite a bit of garlic:
Ohhh, that's so good. Sephiroth, I wish you could smell this picture.
Anyhoot, after that, it was time to prepare the salsa. I asked J to cut up some tomatoes and the bell pepper that I asked R to fetch on his way here. But I only got a picture of the sliced red bell pepper for some reason:
...J did such a nice job!!!!!!! Oh my goodness!!!!!!
Anyways, I put the tomatoes and some pre-diced onions into my rice cooker bowl (because sometimes you just need bowls). I chopped some cilantro and threw it in there; fortunately, no one in my house today has that gene that makes cilantro taste like soap:
...Say, Sephiroth, does cilantro taste like soap to you? It's a genetic quirk by which a person is able to taste the aldehydes in the leaves. Thankfully, I don't have that particular quirk. I wonder if you do. If you have that quirk, then you should avoid using cilantro when you make fresh salsa! You can maybe use parsley or some other herb instead; there are lots of great choices!!
Anyway, from there, I added a chopped scallion:
...And then I squeezed in the juice of half a lemon! I also added the other half of the lemon-lime zest!
Here's the finished salsa!
...Oh, and! We don't have to let the spent lemon half go to waste! You can stick it in water for a while like this, and let the flavors infuse:
...As for the lime, I peeled it and pulled apart the sections; I didn't slice it because I don't like when citrus juices leak out and get everywhere. And besides, why slice it when the fruit basically already comes pre-sliced, if only you're willing to take a minute or two to peel it properly?
...I did fail to take a picture. But that's okay; you'll see one of the slices in a bit!
I didn't fail to picture some other taco essentials, though! Here, we have guacamole, cheese, and sour cream!
...Normally, I might make my own guacamole, but... I was already pressed for time and energy. It's made of avocados, mashed with citrus juice and other seasonings. It's good stuff!!! Great on a variety of things!!!
So now comes the part where we put together the taco! We start with a warmed tortilla! And then we spread some refried beans on it!
...We add the chicken! The refried beans keep it kinda glued to the tortilla:
It's all golden brown because of our lovely adobo mixture, yay!!
Anyhoot! Next, we add the sour cream!
...Then the salsa! The sour cream will help it to stay on!
...Cheese after that. It'll fall into all the nooks, crannies, and crevices in the salsa!
Then we add the guacamole!
...And finally, we add the cute little lime slice on top!
From there, we roll it up and enjoy!
...Want some...?
...And no, I promise that if you do it right, you definitely won't need a “napkin” of any kind, hahaha!! Just make sure your chicken is cooked through, make sure you don't overfill your tortilla, and make sure you wrap the contents properly! It'll maybe take practice, but... you're a super smart guy!!! You can do it, I'm sure!!!
R seemed to enjoy the tacos that were made. And he left us, too, with a jar full of vanilla sugar that he made, and several different kinds of cookie dough that he made at home, too!! I can't wait to put them in the oven! Maybe I'll do that tomorrow!!
Well. I suppose that's it for today. Suppose I'm over here wishing you could eat tacos with us and chill out and watch something cool on the TV with us, or play some silly game.
...Or... better yet... I wish I could teach you how to make tacos in person... I think you'd have a lot of fun with it...
…
Sephiroth... I love you. And I want you to be safe and happy. I know you said that you've seen hell before and you don't fear death, but... please... show me a man who rises up from the bowels of hell, triumphant and full of love. Show me a man who refuses to bow down as a slave to his conditioning. Show me a man who refuses to allow the pain in his heart to warp his tenderness into hatred.
I believe in you. I know you can do it. No matter how many tries it takes. Just like with Hades and my quest to get a victory on the first run on a fresh save, you can fall lots of times, but you only need to succeed once. Like Dead Cells, like Salt and Sanctuary, you can fall so many times, but you only need to succeed once. All you have to do is get back up and try again. All you have to do is refuse to remain defeated. All you have to do is improve your skills, learn to relax, and learn how to dance merrily around those who would wish you harm. I'm over here, getting better and better at all of these things in a wide variety of respects – not just in the video games I play, but in my life generally. We can defy the conditioning that tells us that ordinary, natural things are wrong, weak, or bad. We can do it together.
...Sephiroth. Come on. Take my hand; you don't gotta do it alone, and you don't gotta do it on an empty belly, a dehydrated body, or an unslept brain. Come on; my house has tea and snacks and safe places to sleep where no one will bother you. Come on; we can fill the days with me showing you how to make tasty snacks of various kinds. Come on; I can teach you a little bit of the history of the foodways of my world along the way – something tells me you'd be into that sort of thing. Come on; you can become someone who loves yourself enough to create your own delicious homecooked meals. Come on; the dreams you had as a boy don't have to remain dreams – you can weave them into reality with your own two hands, I promise! Come on; I'll show you how, because it's not too hard; it just takes a bit of time, effort, and practice. And you're worth that time. You're worth that effort. You're worth that practice. And you're worth the patience, dedication, and determination that it will take, too.
...I know you can't answer me. But... just think about it, okay? Think about becoming a person who is strong in the real way.
youtube
I'll write again tomorrow. Please stay safe out there.

saw you talking about tea the other day and now i'm intrigued 👀 any flavors you're particularly fond of? asking for a friend also. please do ramble about it bc it's delightful :D
Jay! Hi! Fellow tea lover?
Hm… I love lots of teas, but really I prefer simple teas to anything super decadent or elaborate. I don’t ever add anything to my teas unless I’m sick (then I’ll add a bit of honey).
My go-to is just a simple green or peppermint tea, though I’m also a huge fan of spiced chai and earl grey. I adore jasmine tea - jasmine is probably my favourite, but it has to be a good jasmine, so I don’t have it all the time (again, it gets expensive). I always have some green or peppermint tea on hand though - a quality cup is always nice but I don’t as much mind if these are the cheaper kind.
I’m not a huge fruit tea person, though I did have a peach white tea once - that one was lovely cold - and of course a good lemon ginger is always nice. If I’m having bubble tea though, I always go for a mango or lychee green tea if they have it!
I have to say that I can’t remember what pu’erh tea was like - I know it was interesting and I liked it, but I’d need to try it again I think to recall it properly. I haven’t found a rooibos tea I’ve been particularly crazy about, but it’s nice too, just not what I’d gravitate towards.
If you want a sweet or dessert type tea, then any oolong is great, but I think I’m spoiled for that wuyi oolong now hahaha. I’ve had a vanilla black tea - it’s really good. I’d highly recommend that one. I also have this sweet apple-cinnamon tea with nuts. I don’t have it super often, as I’m not a fan of sugary teas but this one is a nice dessert on its own. It’s very nutty which makes it pretty unique.
When I’m sick, I’ve had a couple good teas. One I have for colds is a eucalyptus-mint. I recommend having this one only when you are very congested because boy is it strong. Tastes amazing though. Also my mom had several Korean friends when I was little, so I have fond memories of her making yujacha at their urging when I wasn’t feeling well as a young kid, and boricha for us to put in the fridge and drink cold. I love both.
I don’t usually have chamomile at home, but this is largely because on days when I’m really incredibly stressed (like, shaking with anxiety, actively spiralling, kind of stressed), I like to go for a walk in the evening and pick up a chamomile from a nearby café to take back with me. It’s an indulgence that way.
Other cool teas I have tried:
Butterfly pea flower tea: More of a novelty than anything but this tea is bright blue and changes to red when you add citric acid. It’s a natural pH indicator!
Lavender black tea: Incredibly good. This was another gift from my mom a few years back. Very nice in the evening.
Mushroom tea: These tend to be incredibly overpriced due to purported health benefits so I’ve only ever had samples but honestly? The ones I’ve had are very nice, a smooth, rich flavour. Not convinced they’re worth that price though.
Dandelion tea: People say this can be used as a coffee substitute. I’m not entirely sure I agree with that but it does have a dark roasted flavour that is similar to black coffee. It’s a little sweet though. I like this one a lot, but I only have this with food because if I don’t have anything in my stomach it makes me cramp a bit (as I found out the hard way) :/
Matcha green tea with roasted rice: Okay a friend of mine got me some of this as a gift when she went back to visit family for a bit and. Um. This tea is so incredibly good. We had some together and it was fantastic. I’ve been saving it and only having it at times I know I can really savour it because I want it to last. If you can find some good quality stuff I highly recommend it.
Aaaand sometimes, admittedly, I will enjoy an orange pekoe. It’s nice on occasion. I make it pretty strong hehe
I hope this was fun for you your friend! 😆
What are your favourite teas, Jay?
#I’ll open this up too to anyone who’d like to tell me their favourite teas#Or recommend me some!! I’m always up for trying new tea!#storyrambles#thanks for the ask!#tea time

BOBA DATE WITH CHRIS MCLEAN HEADCANONS
(I had a big impulse to write this- don’t fret, I’m still writing the requests I’ve received!)
You don’t know how Chris didn’t try boba earlier.
This beverage was literally perfect for him- control over the amount of ice, amount of sugar, toppings.
Best part is, if he didn’t like how it came out, he’d have himself to blame.
Even though, it’ll never get to that.
He liked many flavours, but was somehow very picky.
“I’m stuuuuck... Could you help me?” he dragged out to you, menu in hand.
“Sure.” you came next to him,“What do you feel like having?”
“I don’t knowww... What do you normally get?”
Uh...
“I get a different flavour every time, but I can guarantee that if you already like one flavour of something, boba will only enhance it!” you tolled, in your love for this drink.
“Not helpful.”
“It’s assuring you! Does theee fruit tea interest you?” your finger lands on the title.
He scans over that section,“The mango seems nice.”
“Only?”
“Is there a problem?” insulted, he raises an eyebrow.
“No, no. But make sure you look over the entire menu at least once before you decide.”
So he does and his attention lands on- “Oo, they have frappes!”
“Aw...” you whine. Was he really going to go for something he was already familiar with?,“You can get frappe anywhere.”
“True.” Thankfully, he agreed with you,“Alright...uh... I don’t wanna waste too much time deciding on a dry throat, so I’ll go for the...matcha green tea. It seems like the healthier option.”
Not what you were expecting, but who were you to judge,“Alrightt. You want ice with that?”
His voice takes a notch down from his usual confidence, submitting for your guidance,“...Would it be better with it?” making you almost feel bad for the ambiguous answer you delivered.
“Maybe. Maybe not.”
“Really?” he squints his eyes in distaste,“Fine. Twenty five percent ice.”
“And how much for sugar?”
“Huh?” He blinks,“You can...pick how much sugar it has?”
You expected that reaction,“Different, right?”
“Then, a hundred percent! I want the full experience.” he put great emphasis into his preference.
One final thing to top it off,“What toppings d’you want?”
His cognition paused,“...Whatty?”
“Y’know the pearls at the bottom of the drink? I’ll ask tapioca. It’s the generic black one.” you fill him in, watching this new concept wrap around his cute head.
“Actually, I want the golden one.” Of course he did.
Chris didn’t want to embarrass himself trying to order something new, even if he could turn it into a snazzy moment, so you were going to do it on his behalf- and yours,“Okay!”
While you wait, Chris looks over the toppings menu again,“Popping balls sound pretty neat!”
“I’m really surprised you went for the green tea.” you admit, looking alongside him.
“Why’s that?”
“I don’t know. I thought you would’ve gone for an actual frappe based tea or something a bit more common like jasmine tea since you’ve never tried boba before.” A wire of your prior interpretations reach him, in a lighthearted manner.
A soft laugh jumps from his vocal chords as he pats your shoulder,“Gotta be full of surprises! Unpredictability is a key trait needed to keep a crowd entertained.”
“No way.” you tease, holding onto his hand until the boba was ready. Chris picks up his flexible cup where the golden balls looked so strange with the green.
“Is that supposed to be offensive coming from someone who’s clearly never seen this much green and gold before?” He rolls his eyes, holding his pointed straw above the plastic seal,“So I just...?”
“That’s right. Not too weak, not too strong-“
He stabs it in perfectly.
“Alright!”
He twirls his cup around, before moment of truth: the second he takes his first swallow of his first ever boba, his eyes lit up. No joke. There was a whole other sparkle that lit up in his dark eyes,“Oh my God...this tastes really good.”
“Really?” you smile, adoring the sight that he was enjoying something you suggested.
He nods, eyeing the light brown volume in your cup,“I never got to ask... What‘s that one you bought?” he points.
You proudly apprise him,“Brown sugar milk tea.”
“Brown sugar?” The name put him off.
You elaborate before he said something shaming,“It’s like caramel.”
“Let me try.” he takes a sip from it, sucking a pearl or three,“Hm... Look at that. It’s not just plain brown sugar.” He chuckles,“I still think mine is better though.”
“I’ll be the judge of that.” you steal a taste from his straw. Your tongue is savoured by the cold vegetal milk, causing you to squeal, recalling how good it was.
You wanted more, but Chris didn’t appreciate you having any to begin with,“(Y/N)!” he grouched, tearing his cup away from you protectively,“You’re supposed to ask first!” Like he would’ve let you if you did.
“Sorry!” you giggle,“Couldn’t help myself, but you’re right, it is better!”
“Hmmm...” he still flaunts his drink in attempt to stay salty, the grudge quickly washed down by the green cream re-sweetening his mood. How did he not try this earlier? He was so going to buy more of this. Maybe even replace his lattes entirely!

˚˳⊹ Their Bubble Tea Order: Blue Lock ˚˳⊹
included: bachira, chigiri, isagi, kaiser, nagi, reo, rin
note: i'm back AFTER A CRAZY LONG ASS HAITUS, i'm so sorry 😭 life got on my ass and i'm applying for grad schools now! i am on break until august so i hope to come up with some new content from new fandoms i've gotten into, one including this little show that captured my heart although i have never played soccer! give me suggestions about drabbles and headcanons in my asks or comments!! these are my headcanons, nothing here is canon!
Bachira
~ I can see him liking his drinks super sweet, a ton of sugar
~ Opts for a brown sugar milk tea or anything with 100% sugar (might even ask for extra sugar if it's allowed)
~Also the type to get extra boba to the point where the workers wonder if he's okay
~ He just needs the extra sugar so he can stay up all night~
~ If he's bored with his usual order he is not opposed to getting Thai milk tea or house milk tea but there's something about sugar milk that just keeps him coming back for more
~ Gets the largest size in order to share with his monster
Chigiri
~likes sweet drinks and fruit flavors
~ strawberry, peach, mango, passionfruit, anything goes
~also likes lemonades
~ sometimes likes the milkshakes and slushies but isn't the biggest fan of them
Isagi
~ a simple dude, def the type to get just a classic milk tea or the house-recommended tea
~ isn't one to stray from his usual order but might change toppings and add cheese foam depending on his mood
~is very particular with his order, gets upset if it tastes different than usual (won't complain though, he knows better than to yell at minimum wage workers)
~ sees bubble tea as a quick treat after soccer practice or a good meal
Kaiser
~strikes me as a fruit tea kind of guy, anything with berries, passionfruit, and peach
~ prefers fruit jelly or aloe vera over boba
~ chugs that shit so fast, does NOT savor it at ALL
~ likes his tea unsweetened or as little sweetener as possible
~ is a sucker for seasonal flavors
Nagi
~ boy probably just drinks whatever reo gets him tbh
~ BUT probably wants something caffeinated asf so he can stay up gaming at night
~ coffee milk tea or earl gray milk tea are favorites of his
~ likes coffee jelly for the extra caffeine intake
~ if there's a 2 L size like at some of those shops, reo would get it for him (this boy is so lucky istg)
Reo
~ my favorite character :))
~ man this guy has fancy taste
~ changes his order a lot but options include rose milk tea, sakura milk tea, taro, some mocktail mojito option, etc
~ a fan of floral flavors (me too bro)
~ not a huge sweets person so is slow at drinking it, can drink a medium size all day
~ likes drinks that look pretty and jellies that have cute shapes
Rin
~ likes matcha and doesn't waver often
~ occasionally gets a cold foam tea but it is not often since he is a man of routine
~ drinks it like pre-workout
~ no toppings kind of guy

If you want some drink ideas for the beverage presentation system there's multiple words we know of.
- Taro related (purple options).
- Matcha related (green options)
- Banana slushie or milk (yellow option).
There's a ton of tea types that could fit vibes even if not all the colours (like raspberry tea). On that note fruit juices could also be an idea :]!!. There's also soda like faygo or a drink called sobe, both have nice colors. hopefully some of these seem fun to do. If not that's okay I just wanted to give ideas for inspiration!
oh my god faygo is SUCH a good idea. they have like a billion flavors
also funny you mention matcha! i recreated all of my alcohol-based terms, and i do have a matcha one in the queue :D
AND. i wanted to use taro (because it's one of my favorite boba flavors) but i didn't have the opportunity this time. it is on the back burner for now
rn all of my remakes are boba tea, smoothie, or regular tea. i have more requests in the inbox that ill get to soon and maybe ill be able to put some of these suggestions to use 🙏

madie I have a date on sunday and he suggested boba because that's what he likes to do while getting to know someone and also because when he mentioned it as an option I said I'd never had it before so he was like oh heck yeah! Let's do this!
HALP I want to be prepared! 😂 Give me a first timer run down?? I'm the kind of person who even looks at the menu of familiar restaurants online before going because I panic when I'm with people, I don't like looking stupid or holding everyone up. Decisions make me anxious!
omg!! congrats on the date and don’t worry about the boba ordering!! it’s much easier than you think
1) first question is - do you like tea? if so, do you want to drink a fruit tea or more of a milk tea? if you don’t like tea, you can go for something simple like a strawberry slush or mango slush (boba shops should have this). if you like fruit tea - i recommend a passionfruit black tea or mango green tea. usually the fruit tea is just fruit + black/green tea. if you want a milk tea, just a plain black milk tea is very good! if you want to be adventurous then i would go for a matcha milk tea or a Thai milk tea (tastes like caramel)
2) do you want boba in the tea? those are the little black balls that make boba boba! you should probably go for this because it’s your first time and it’s good to try (some people don’t like the sensation of chewing something after drinking so it’s okay if you don’t end up liking this)
3) how sweet do you want your tea/drink? usually boba shops let you adjust the sugar level! if you like very sweet things, i would go for 100-120%. those are usually the percentages they offer but sometimes boba shops can differ. they’ll also offer lower sweetness like 50% (which is my fave) or 0% (for the anti-sugar)
4) how much ice do you want? some boba shops might not let you adjust but they usually do and it follows the same logic as the sugar levels so 50% is less ice (my fave) and 100% is regular ice (not my fave)
if you’re still worried, let me know! you can also send me the menu and i can see what looks good

here's some matcha tea to trade for another funny story about the great sage himself. got any good ones for us today Macaque?
Macaque inspects the tea, swirling it lightly in the cup before taking a light sip. He waits, eyes slightly distant with thought, before he swallows.
He hums, and takes a larger sip.
When the cup parts from his lips, he speaks.
"Wukong had a bad habit of swallowing peach pits for a while. He'd choke it down like it didn't mean anything because 'biting down tastes nasty'. I told him the whole thing of it was nasty, and then it became a bicker about where they'd go if he didn't swallow them - sure enough, he'd eat so many there'd be a pile by the end of one day.
"So, we did what we always did when there was a problem we could solve with stupid - and solved it with stupid."
He takes another drink. Seems to be good quality.
"Wukong can spit far when he wants to, I know because we'd have spitting contests and he'd always win - we had contests about everything, though it didn't matter whether or not he won, cuz he never lost. It was more an excuse to see how far he could go and how close I could get to him.
"Anyway, he starts spitting his peach pits now, just to be a show-off-y brat about not swallowing them. And he spits so hard they'd pierce through rock and mountains. So I'd ask him to try certain shapes or a certain amount in a row and he'd try to not just do it, but add something extra, just to show-off. Cuz he's a show-off.
"One day it was..." He sighs, embarrassed, "It was a dick, okay? I told him to spit a dick into a nearby mountain with days-old peach pits, and of course he did it because why wouldn't he.
"But remember, this is Wukong, he has to go higher. So he adds hair. And wrinkles. And cum, and my dumb-ass is just giggling and stomping like a three-year-old idiot to where I don't notice - neither of us notice - that the mountain is starting to crumble.
"Until it slips."
Another sip - he seems to be just as embarrassed as when he admitted his idea about the dick.
"The thing just cracks, right where the base met the balls, and it shifts, this tiny little hiccup shift that we finally notice. And we freeze up, watching it, waiting for it to do more. It doesn't move for just a second long enough that we both think maaayyybe it's still good? And then, no, it's not, the thing crumbles under it's own weight and the cracks he made and huge, huuuuge chunks of mountain fall into the ocean around the mountain.
"The waves that come from it are brutal, we are so lucky no one got hurt. But it did a number on our shore defenses, and we lost a good amount of quality of the land that wasn't higher terrain. A lot of fruit trees were wrecked. The mountain didn't grow more jujube's for about a hundred years, just because of how fucked the land was by it."
He nurses the cup in hand, swirling the liquid again, but not looking at it this time. His eyes are distant, and turned away.
He clears his throat.
"So, that's the time Wukong destroyed an entire mountain and all our jujube trees because he needed to carve a detailed dick into the side of it using only peach pits."

Anti-inflammatory diet - being in charge of our own health
I've been following an anti-inflammatory diet for almost a month.
I did expenses recently and was happy I did not eat out a lot recently. I only had some mozzarella sticks at work the other day.
I feel so much better. My skin has improved from this alone. The diet won't get rid of the fungal infections (I'll need actual topical medication for that) but it significantly reduced my skin inflammation. Not 100% though, but a good amount. The aloe juice (also anti-inflammatory and is great for the gut) and steroids helped too. Killing the infection will also help reduce inflammation.
The next real goal I have is stress management, getting the support I need for my autism diagnosis (testing + longterm support), and hormone balancing pertaining to my cortisol, estrogen, progesterone, and insulin levels (as someone who struggles with anxiety, I do have normal-high cortisol). I'm in good health thankfully, and my diet helped a lot. But my anxiety/stress management, autism testing and support, and hormone balancing will be what really helps me next. I'll get help from a psychologist for the autism testing and support, and my doctor can help me with hormone balancing.
I've been on steroids for 4 days. Along with my diet, it helped a lot with my inflammation. However today I went out to go shopping with my mom and sister, and I got exhausted and overwhelmed. And I argued with my mom and brother (nothing serious, family arguments happen). So I got tense and stress and felt some itchiness. That's why relaxing and calming down are just as important as diet and steroids. I'm okay now, I just hate going out in public places when I want to rest at home. I remember as a child going to this grocery store with my mom and dad every weekend and would feel so overwhelmed and drained. It's one thing if I want to go somewhere, and a completely different and draining thing when I have to go with someone else while they are shopping and I get so bored and overwhelmed. It's usually clothes shopping with my mom and Home Depot or something like that with my dad. I'm okay now thankfully.
I'm definitely craving a lot of healthy stuff now. I love drinking green tea, eating fruit and veggies and olive oil and avocados. I do allow myself to eat out on Fridays, and I felt bloated and drained from that alone. I got some coffee and a caramel chocolate block, and I even felt like the chocolate was too sweet. I might look into 80% cocoa in the future, and I love chocolate and have 72%. But anything higher is usually harder to find. I ordered a healthy salad today with olive oil dressing rather than the usual stirfry pasta. Pasta is not the problem, I actually really like it. The problem is the processed inflammatory oils they cook and season it with. Olive oil is very anti-inflammatory and is a great option along with avocado and coconut oil.
I've been really into matcha green tea recently. I love drinking coffee, though I know tea is probably better and more anti-inflammatory and won't make me crash. I felt pretty bloated today, and I think it started after I had my coffee. I went out today to get clothes with my mom and sister and felt big and ballooned. I guess sometimes it just happens. I know I've been concerned with general digestion and nutrient absorption. I've started chewing more and I'm drinking aloe juice for intestinal lining support (I've been taking something before that to help me out but am drinking aloe now). I wanted to focus on stomach acid levels and pancreatic enzyme production, because not enough acid and enzymes can negatively impact digestion and nutrient absorption. Maybe I can ask my doctor about this? Again I'm tired of taking supplements and the last thing I want to do is get a new supplement with HCl and a new one with enzymes. There has to be a better way to approach this beyond expensive pills. I know h pylori can influence stomach acidity, and I had h pylori. And sometimes the pancreas doesn't produce enough enzymes. Or the liver doesn't produce enough bile to absorb fat soluble vitamins. It's a headache to sift through all this and to buy a ton of supplements, but I can find little and easy to follow things that can help. Even ginger tea can help. I know tropical fruit contain natural enzymes, but unfortunately I'm not a fan of tropical fruit. I'm more of a berry person.
So I'm going to wait until my fungal infection disappears, and I finish my steroid course tomorrow. The next goal is to talk to my doctor about hormone balancing, schedule the autism testing appointment, and read a bit about digestive/absorption support in the context of stomach acid and enzymes. I want to be in control of my health, I do not want doctors to be in control because they're going to make fear mongering decisions for me, or even unhelpful ones, and I'm going to feel scared and vulnerable and inclined to listen to them because they are the "authorities" and we hold them to a high standard. But sometimes we just know ourselves and our bodies better. I know I do. But the trick is to follow and stick to these healthy habits, otherwise we cannot rely on our own conclusions and decisions. There have been several moments in my life where my own family was more helpful. It was my mom who helped me a lot with my skin, my dad introduced me to intermittent fasting, and my mom and sister suspected that I might be autistic after going to therapy for almost 2 years and my therapist never mentioning anything about it being a possibility.
I know I feel like I'm not up to that level or standard yet because my skin inflammation was a constant reminder of how behind and sick I felt. I know I had some inflammatory issues pertaining to my diet and gut and I've improved my diet and followed a gut healing protocol, and now I drink aloe juice to maintain my gut health. I know stress contributes to it as well, along with possible hormonal imbalances related to my stress. Even things out of my control like the weather and environment, as well as hidden infections that can weaken my immune system. My skin is much better now, I just need to address the stress and hormonal side to all this. And I'll look into reading about stomach acid and enzymes for optimal digestion/nutrient absorption, but without the headache of supplements.
I will heal. I don't need people to be in control of my health just because it's their job. I need guidance and feedback, but not final decision making. That should be my job, but I need to be proactive in order for that to be a possibility.

Apples, Bubbles, Jam & Matcha🌸🌼 (I had trouble picking which ones to ask because I already know almost all of your answers for each question and I wanted to ask ones that I don’t already know🥺)
Roseeee ~ 🥺🥺🥺💗I had trouble picking questions for you as well because I knew most of the answers!🥺💖 hhhh okay here we go, Eri is officially attempting to rejoin society after disappearing!🫂
Apples - favorite fruit?
Peaches, pineapple, any kind of melon, mango, cherries, grapes (the crunchy green ones; red ones don't seem to be as crunchy so I'm not as fond of those🥺), apples, kiwi!💖And before you ask me - yes, in that order!💗
Bubbles - Do you like bubble tea?
I've never had bubble tea - do you eat the balls at the bottom? I'm not sure they're gluten free or even what they're made of (tapioca?) so even if I could have bubble tea, I'd have to do my research beforehand. Long story short - if it's not coffee, my reluctance to try it is higher than my caffeine dependency.😂
Jam - favorite thing to bake?
Anything so long as it's gluten free! Typically, I bake cakes because box mixes are quick & easy. But also brownies, and what I call 'swirly nom noms', which is a vanilla pastry and a matcha pastry rolled out together and then rolled up into each other, cut into slices and baked. So good. I love matcha (not quite as much as I love coffee, but almost).😍😍😍😍
Matcha - what’s your go to coffee/tea order this time of year?
Triple shot espresso iced coffee - any time of year! It's my love, my life, and if you think the cup is big enough, think again.😂 You've seen me drink coffee, Rose, you know.🥺😂

🍃Leafeon - Favorite food?
// @j0nathand0e //
Since we coincidentally got these for everyone back to back, we'll take a little creative liberty and give our favorite drinks for this one! Mine is comforting Apple Cider!-🤎
Fruit punch all the way! So tasty! -🧡
'Energy drink' might be too predictable, won't it, haha! So I'll say lemonade instead! -💛
Black coffee... Probably also predictable, I just don't care, hah. -🖤
Nice warm Chai lattes are my favorite. -💜
Matcha green tea! Oh, or mint... lemon... rooibos, jasmine- okay, any tea really! -💚
Iced tea for me. Though a good fruit smoothie is also pleasant. -🤍
A strawberry milkshake, but only with a juicy cherry on top! -💗

changes - what signals the changing of the seasons to you?
we have really mild winters where i live, so it’s less the temperature and more visual changes i’ll notice. like today on my way to work i noticed flowers beginning to bud on the trees which made me so excited. we also have some flower bushes in our backyard that have begun blooming again. and green grass is starting to sprout! i’m also sure i’ll notice the pollen soon because i get AWFUL seasonal allergies lol
comfort - who is your go to comfort character?
okay anakin is an obvious one, but also c!tommy, ezra bridger from star wars rebels, and peter parker/spider-man (tom holland’s incarnation)
fun facts - what’s something people would never guess about you?
i really like 70s rock. blame my dad lol. my favorites are lynyrd skynyrd, chicago, styx, kansas, boston, the doobie brothers, journey, and eagles
