Mad scientist Reader fucking up an experiment meant to give them cat-like reflexes - their "pets" always make a mess of their lab whenever they bust in. Scientist Reader can hardly keep up with any of them donating all their hours to science instead training their body every now and again for physical activity. How were they supposed to know they'd be doomed to a life of chasing around hyperactive zombie dog hybrid people? They start out the experiment seeking to be on an equal playing field with the Franken-hounds only for it to work out just a little too well for their liking when they sprout car ears and a tail.

Upon realizing the horrors of their mistake, Mad Scientist Reader holes themselves up in what they believe to be a safe part of their home until they find a cure, but -as always- things never turn out for them in the end.

"Master! What are you doing hiding in the garage? There's a cat somewhere in the house - we need to get you to a safe place before it tries to eat your soul!"

"T-those ears...Master, are you?....."

"..Here, kitty- I have some delicious milk for you if you come out."

".....cute."

Cat Mad Scientist Reader is then subjected to all the headpats they've denied the Franken-hounds over the years.
